Founders now need to deliver a detailed cap table to investors within 24-48 hours of request. Missing this timeline signals you're either hiding something or too disorganized to run your company. It's become the new standard.

I think where we are going, and it's very important for founders to understand that, is, uh, it will be unacceptable for an investor that asks detail about your cap table to not be able to provide it to him in less than 24 or 48 hours. And if it's not possible to do it in that very short timeframe, it probably means that you have an issue with your cap table. Either you are hiding something, or if you are not hiding, you are just not organized or efficient enough to do it well. This is where I think the level of expectation will go. Because like I said, now that it is standardized, there is no reason for not respecting that.
