A basketball drill uses a tablet to flash color sequences that players memorize, then execute while distracted before shooting. After the shot, they catch and shoot again. Three cycles tests memory, coordination, and pressure shooting.

Sequence. Catch and shoot 1, you're on it. Go right to it. Good.
Hey, we've been working on some new stuff where I can get some memory and neurological overload while I'm shooting and ball handling. So he had that tablet out and there's colors associated with a move and you have to memorize the move and how many of them you're doing. So it could say 2-2-1, but it's A blue 2, a green 2, and a red 1. And you gotta remember the pattern, and then he gives you something else to distract you, and then you gotta make the shot, and then you gotta make the catch and shoot after that. And you gotta do 3, 3 of those to get out of the drill. So that's my favorite because it challenges you— memory, coordination, and then the pressure of having to make a shot.
