He reiterates the Warriors' identity—high‑energy, big‑shot basketball—and expresses excitement for the long season ahead. That's what Warriors basketball is about, baby.
The energy is good, the fans are excited. I mean, even if it's my 24th or your 7th, Dub Nation, we all know every home opener, we are right at the start of the season, which means we got a lot of hope for this amazing season and hopefully a very long run. And so tonight, we got a pretty big matchup. Warriors taking on the Denver Nuggets. So this is gonna be a big one.

The Warriors head coach is Stephen Curry! Move, Steph! Move, Steph! Defense! Defense!
You talked a little bit earlier about that closing lineup with Al in there. How important will that be in the long run over the season to have that option of closing, you know, adding a guy who's 6'9" and can shoot threes and guard a guy like Jokic, it seems like that gives you guys flexibility you haven't had in the past.
That was the vision the whole time. We played against him. We understand what he did in Boston, Atlanta, everywhere he's been. I still have flashbacks of Game 1 in '22. It's just, you know, He understands what it means to impact the game on both ends. He's fearless as well. So again, you probably have 7, 8 guys that you could theoretically finish a game with on our team. It just depends on what the game calls for. And I think he understands on a night-to-night basis to be ready for whatever. And he's seen it all. So you don't really have to prepare him too much for—
Yeah.
You know, the unpredictability of it all. He just knows and sees the game so well. Again, we didn't really have a play call down the stretch. It was just get to your spots, figure it out, make the right play, knock down a shot, talk on defense, do what you need to do. And he's really good at that.
Great.
Thank you, Coach.
Thank you.
I don't know how to explain it. A home opener, we felt the energy, like coming down to the wire, making big shots. Guys, good stops.
I'm so excited to meet you.
That's what Warriors basketball is about, baby. 2-0, let's keep it going.
