Short testimonial-style video from the 2017 NextHome Conference in New Orleans. Multiple speakers compare this year to the prior conference in Nashville, noting the event roughly doubled in size, had higher energy, emphasized human connection (less screen time/more face time), strong networking/family atmosphere, and valuable industry insights and speakers.

Last year in Nashville, when we had our first next home conference, I felt like it couldn't be topped. Well, this year in New Orleans, we definitely topped it. And the energy was electric.
It's over double in size from last year to this year. It's interesting. I've been chatting with people who were here last year who said, we didn't think you could top it. And somehow we did.
We were blown away by the first one, but this one, they really raised the bar, like 10 notches.
I mean, the group, the energy, the passion, seeing all of it come together is really something that is hard to describe unless you attend one of these things. But it motivates us to continue to build on these every single year.
Our focus this year for conference was making sure that we had a human connection.
Less screen time and more face time, and that's what we're doing.
There's definitely a family vibe, and that's how our office operates. And that's another reason I joined NextHome. I feel like everyone is very, very close to each other and we can connect right off the b met some of the best people in the real estate. It's kind of like a family.
It's just.
It's amazing. I think everybody should come, whether they're agents or brokers, because the information changes so quickly, and I don't believe that anyone is sitting at home just devouring that information.
We've gotten so much insight on what's going to happen with real estate, and I think we'll be two years ahead of other companies because of what nexhome is doing. I'm blown away at how much information they jam pack in here. And the speakers that they have, they definitely have to have some connections.
Actually tweeted out that, you know, you don't get someone like Brad Inman if you're not, you know, changing the game. I've done conventions with in other industries and other businesses. There really is something special here. I mean, to people considering becoming sponsors or even next home agents. There is something different about the atmosphere here.
Being able to partner with people that we're friends with and other companies that we respect and carry the same values for us is super critical.
Don't miss it. You know, just the networking, meeting the agents, meeting the vendors, learning about the technology firsthand. You can always pick something up from each session.
You'll learn your business, you'll learn what tools are coming, you'll learn how to use them. You'll meet people that are going to send you referrals. You got to show up for it. You just got to be here.
My message to anybody who wants to come out, do yourself a favor, pay the price next year and show up, and you will not regret it.
It's that Vegas kind of tire where, yeah, your feet are sore, and, yeah, you're exhausted, but you're exhausted because you're with the right people, doing a bunch of fun stuff.
When we can see somebody in the room, in the audience that just hasn't that aha moment, it's. It's like, okay, we connected with them. It really helps us understand what we're doing in our career and what we're passionate about.
We're going to inspire, we're going to motivate. We're going to give you tools and systems to make you better. Most of all, what we want is we want you to feel appreciated as a member of the nexthome family. We want to make sure that you know that you have people that have your back. Our DNA is based on great people and great lives for those people.
