Super bowl is right around the corner. So I thought it'd be fun to take a look at advertising for the super bowl and what we could learn from that. The super bowl ads are like half the reason, half the people are there to watch. Not everybody's into the game, but everybody's into talking about which commercial really spoke to them. And as I think back to the commercials that have spoke to me over the years, the ones that resonate with me are the ones that tell stories. You want to learn something from super bowl marketing? Tell stories in what you do. Tell the human being on the other end of your channel, whatever that is, whatever medium you're delivering it in. Tell the stories of residential real estate. Tell the stories of mortgage. Tell the stories of your life. Because the most memorable commercials to me are the ones that have a story arc that might span 30 or 60 seconds. You can do the same thing in your marketing. Just make sure you're telling the stories that people want to hear.
