The video is a compilation of short tribute remarks recorded on June 16, 2026, celebrating photographer Jeff Kern as he receives the Golden Egg Award. Multiple colleagues, clients, and creative peers (labeled Speakers A–I) share personal anecdotes and praise, highlighting Jeff’s unconventional creative process, meticulous preparation (sketches and references), mastery of visual storytelling, and his distinctive visual voice that shaped high‑profile campaigns such as those for Neiman Marcus. Speakers emphasize his long‑standing collaborations (e.g., a 34‑year partnership), mentorship (advice that "talent has no zip code"), and the profound impact his work has had on their careers and the Dallas creative community. The remarks blend admiration for his artistic excellence, gratitude for his influence, and congratulations on the community‑recognized award, concluding with a call to publish a book about his work.

With Jeff, it's always about working from the unexpected, trying to find inspiration in unexpected places, and I always appreciated working with him because you never knew what he would be coming up with.
From the very first job I ever worked on, Jeff made you just look really good, you know, like if you hired Jeff, you knew that you were taken care of.
In another life, Jeff could have been a painter, sculptor, castle builder, puppeteer, but we're glad to have him as a photographer here in Dallas.
When I first moved to Dallas, a name I first heard was Jeff Kern, and you were always this elusive, you know, famous photographer guy, and your work definitely, definitely He takes what you need and comes back with ideas that you could never have thought of.
I got to see Jeff, kind of a master at work, and it was great to see how he came up with ideas, how he would execute those on set, and then deliver these outstanding photos that were all his own.
Jeff is probably one of the most unappreciated Great artists of our time.
Jeff was a master. He never just winged it. Prior to the shoot, he'd have sketches with great references, and they were to scale. And when he'd shoot, get that image, and it would match the sketch, and it was beautiful.
They were works of art.
Jeff brought a unique visual voice to the campaigns he created for Neiman Marcus, work that was imaginative, sophisticated, and instantly recognizable. His photography had the rare ability to stop people in their tracks while still capturing the elegance, style, and spirit of the brand. The campaigns he created weren't just beautiful images. They told stories, sparked emotion, and gave Neiman Marcus a creative identity that stood apart.
Jeff, it feels like we've been collaborating together for a lifetime now, and I'm deeply honored to celebrate your extraordinary career. Your work has always been memorable, impactful, and remarkably successful for our clients. Our 34-year partnership has continually inspired me and my team to push the limits of creative excellence. I'll always remember that advice you shared with me when I was just starting out as a young designer in Dalton, Georgia. You graciously told me that talent has no zip code, and those words gave me the confidence to pursue my career with conviction. Congratulations, my friend. My work, and my life have been richer because of my work and friendship with you and Deborah.
Congratulations on winning the Golden Egg, Jeff. I mean, it's a, it's a Dallas award, but it's really great because it's being recognized by your peers in our community, and I think you've done some wonderful things for the community, so congrats.
What makes this honor so memorable is not only does it recognize an extraordinary body of work, but also an extraordinary person. Jeff's creativity, humor, and dedication to his craft has inspired clients, creatives, and fellow artists for decades. It's been an honor to be part of this journey and to see the impact his work has had on our industry. Congratulations, Jeff. This honor could not be more deserved.
So I just wanted to say thank you, Jeff. It's, it's really hard for me to express how important Your influence has been on me and my career and my success, and so I just want to thank you for that. But I also want to say that let's get that book published.
It's an honor to support Jeff for this recognition and to celebrate the tremendous influence he has had on visual communications. Congratulations, Jeff.
Ah, Jeff, adore you, love you.
