Chapters
When you're under deadlines and you need a spark of creativity, she's been the one that is right there by your side, helping you brainstorm through things and making you feel good about the project and making you feel confident that you can do this.
I think she has one-name status. You can say Blakely anywhere and people know who you're talking about.
Oh geez, Blakely has been our number one fan since I've been around.
She's so giving and so thoughtful and is really a champion for students and for the design community and for print.
You know, Blakely has always had this unique ability to connect with people and bring them together, to make them feel valued and seen and supported.
The best part about Blakely is she shows up when we make a mistake to help us solve the problem.
Blakely's definitely shaped my career, even with my small side projects. I mean, we're a small studio and she could just totally ignore us and do what's best for business, but she's always looking out for the little guy.
The fact that she drives down from Bowie, has an Australian cowboy as a husband.
I think this is a very apropos award for Blakely in the sense that she has devoted all of that same time and energy into the DSVC and helping with shows and events and just helping the organization when they need a helping hand and being that happy volunteer and good friend and advocate of our design community.
She's an amazing worker, a tireless contributor, and No one deserves this award more than Blakely does.
Blakely, on behalf of the DSBC, congrats. We thank you for the many years of support, your time, your energy, professionally, personally. We couldn't do it without you.
I am over the moon, as I'm sure you are, and I'm super glad that you're being recognized for all of the things that you've contributed to the DSBC and to the creative industry here in Dallas and Fort Worth. Well done.
Congratulations, Blakely. I'm really excited and happy that you're getting this award. You're very deserving, and I know that you have worked hard and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
Blakely, you deserve this so much. I love you. I can't think of anyone more, more deserving than this award, and I hope that you and I go out in blazes in this industry, and thank you for being there all the way.
Blakely, I'm so excited that you're receiving this award today. You definitely deserve a Lifetime Achievement Award, and I couldn't think of anybody better to receive it.
Blakely, congratulations. You are very well deserving of this award. You're always there for us on a business professional level and on a personal level. We're So lucky to have you as a friend.
Blakely, I'm so excited for you to receive this acknowledgement. We're so lucky to have you, and keep inspiring the next generation of designers and printmakers.
I'm thrilled that the DSBC is finally recognizing her with the John Carter Award for the absolutely incredible person she is, not just for the years she's dedicated to her work or for the support and generosity she's given to this organization, the creative community, and to me personally, but for the way She's done it all with warmth, with humor, and kindness, and that feels especially meaningful these days. So Blakely, congratulations and big Texas hugs from New York.
Thank you, Blakely. Thank you from our team, and hope you feel all of the gratitude from our community for everything that you do, and we appreciate you, and congratulations.
