In this short corporate video, representatives from Galderma discuss the importance of diversity, inclusion, and being agents of change within the organization. They acknowledge the challenges of the past year as an opportunity to reassess DEI efforts, stress the need for intentional listening and valuing different perspectives, and assert that an inclusive culture enables diversity to flourish naturally. The speakers link a more inclusive environment to better customer experiences and stronger community presence, and they outline ongoing initiatives through the Diversity and Inclusion Council. Throughout, they issue a call to action for every employee to step in, lean into inclusion work, and become agents of change, emphasizing that inclusion is both a present responsibility and a future vision for the company.
Chapters
This year has been a challenging year for so many people, right? And it's given us an opportunity to take a look at what we're doing about diversity and inclusion.
We all come with different perspectives. We all have different things to bring to the table.
And in order for us to thrive with the diversity that lives within our organization, we have to be inclusive. We want people to feel heard. We want differences to be known. We want different Different thought process, different thinking.
We have to be very intentional listening to people with different perspectives, letting them truly express themselves.
What we're striving to do is to make sure that there's an inclusive environment across the organization so that everybody feels welcome and that everybody feels like they are valued.
We believe by starting with inclusion, we're starting with the right step forward that actually allows diversity to grow within the organization naturally.
As Galderma creates a more inclusive environment, we're also going to be even better in front of our customers, and then that can help us to be even more present, more valuable in our communities where we live and work.
And we want to be agents of change. We want to lead that change.
We will continue to pull through initiatives through the Diversity and Inclusion Council, and we're going to continue to grow and to develop in inclusion throughout the organization.
The word inclusion starts with I, and so what I ask you to do is to step in and to lean into this work and expect that we're going to be an inclusive culture.
I am an agent for change. You are too.
I hope we can all get out and express that, that desire for community and be open to one another and be appreciative of one another.
Inclusion can be our future, so let's make it happen.
Expect progress. Expect positive change.
Expect to have a voice in our change and expect to be part of what changes our culture.
