A speaker brought 1,200 "I believe in you" stickers to a school event and asked kids to pass them on instead of keeping them. She wanted to show how one small act of kindness can ripple out in ways you never see.

I frantically rewrote a new speech, and I, because I had a little label printer for my clothing company, I printed these little stickers that said, "I believe in you." And I showed up, had the staff hand out the stickers to all the kids. There was like 1,200 or 1,300 kids, and I gave the speech. But at the end, they all had those stickers, and I just told them, I said, "Hey, look, the stickers that I gave you are not yours. Trade with the person next to you if you want. Give it to somebody in the hallway, favorite teacher, or go home, give it to your mom or dad, your brother, your cousin. Give it to your neighbor or the mailman. I don't care, but take that message that I gave you today and find somebody to go give it to." And I left.
