In this excerpt from Sylvia Leifheit's YouTube podcast "Conversations with the Universe," the host (Speaker A) introduces the series, explaining that a near‑death experience granted her the ability to commune with subtle cosmic energies through deep meditation. She summons an other‑worldly teacher she calls the "friend of the Indians," who appears as a guide from beyond. The dialogue centers on the nature of wisdom, which the teacher defines as inseparable from personal responsibility, free will, and trust. They explain that personal responsibility is the only realm where a human soul can exercise independent consciousness without direct cosmic interference, and that the soul’s growth (its "amplitude") depends on devoted attention, trust in one’s own strength, and the conscious choice of one’s path. The conversation frames wisdom as a lived, responsible practice that enables the soul to evolve.

Dear human, dear soul, I welcome you to my podcast series Conversations with the Universe. Since a near-death experience, I have the gift to communicate with the subtle energies of the cosmos. This happens in a form of deep meditation in which I ask certain entities of the world beyond to communicate with me. As one of the first contacts with the other world, my old friend and teacher, friend of the Indians, showed himself to me, and it is now a great pleasure for me to introduce you to these conversations as a supplement to the books. Please excuse me if the terms and our articulations are not perfect. Our mother tongue is German, but we try to translate it to the best of our ability. Thank you for understanding. Dear friend of the Indians, what would you like to teach us on the subject of wisdom?
We wish to describe wisdom, but part of wisdom is connected to the energy of personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is the only instance where the human being has cosmic permission to exercise an independent consciousness and the resulting resonances without being consciously aware of the connection to the cosmos. I mean to say with this that the development of a human being is supported and wisely supervised by many cosmic components. But as always, the personal responsibility of the souls for their mutual interaction is a point where the Cosmic Father would not and could not interfere. This type of action is based on free will But personal responsibility plays an additional role here. You know that the soul's amplitude is something that does not just grow all by itself. It requires a lot of attention and most of all trust to grow. Personal responsibility requires a lot of devotion and trust in your own strength. If you do not trust that your own actions are wise, your soul cannot grow. All our actions are steps on a path that we have chosen to walk. We have to become aware of the deep impact of personal responsibility on our actions. People who
