God's Power is in His Name. | The Aligned Leader Podcast

In this solo sermon‑style episode of The Lion Leader (also called The Aligned Leader) podcast, host Sylvie Croslard explores the power inherent in the name of Jesus and the character of God as revealed through a series of biblical passages. She opens with a prayer and then systematically reads and interprets Revelation 20‑21, describing the binding of Satan, the first resurrection, the final judgment, and the vision of a new heaven, new earth, and the New Jerusalem. She then moves to the Psalms (Psalm 20, 23, 24), highlighting God as protector, shepherd, and King of Glory. Croslard proceeds to enumerate the biblical names of God—Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Nissi, Eloi, Jehovah Mekodesh, El Shaddai—explaining each attribute’s scriptural basis and practical implication for believers. She challenges listeners to raise their faith, invoke the name of Jesus, and expect divine provision, healing, financial breakthrough, and protection. The episode concludes with a fervent prayer for miracles, healing, financial provision, and the fulfillment of God’s promises, followed by a call to bear fruit, make disciples, and give glory to God. Throughout, she blends exegesis, prophetic declaration, and practical exhortation.

Hello and welcome to today's episode. Um, today we're looking into God's power. In His name. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for gathering us today in Your name. Anoint my lips that I would preach, pray, and prophesy with fire and authority in Jesus' mighty name. Open your Bibles. We got a full set of scriptures from Psalm 20:6-9, all of Psalm 23, all of Psalm 24, John 15:8, Philippians 4:19, Revelation 20:11-16, and Revelation 21:1-8. Um, that's a unique message I'm bringing to you today because it's not based on a specific story, but it's about God's nature in the middle of warfare seasons and what He wants to do in the earth. So let's begin with what God wants to do in people's lives right now and look at Revelation chapter 20, verses 1 to 16, and chapter 21, verses 1 to 8. So from Revelation 20:1-16, 20:1 And then I saw an angel descending from heaven, holding the key of the Abyss, the bottomless pit, and a great chain was in his hand. 20:2 And he overpowered and laid hold of the Dragon, the old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years. 20:3 And the angel hurled him into the Abyss and closed it and sealed it above him, so that he would no longer deceive and seduce the nations until the 1,000 years were at an end. 20:4 And after these things he He must be liberated for a short time. The Millennium Reign. And then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom judgment was given. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had refused to worship the beast or his image and had not accepted his mark on their forehead or on their hand. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for 1,000 years. The rest of the dead did not come to life again until the 1,000 years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the person who takes part in the first resurrection, over these the second death has no power or authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with Him a thousand years. The Final Rebellion. And when the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive and mislead the nations which are of the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war. Their number is like the sand on the seashore, and they swarmed the up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them. And the devil who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. The Final Judgment. And I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as written in the books. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades surrendered the dead who were in them. And they were judged and sentenced, everyone according to their deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was held in the lake of fire. And now let's look at chapter 21, verses 1 to 8. The New Heaven and Earth. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. And I saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed like a bride adorned for her husband. And then I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "See, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them. And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death, there will no longer be sorrow and anguish or crying or pain, for the The former order of things has passed away, and He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making things new." Also He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true." And He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who thirsts I will give from the fountain of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But as for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable, and murderers and sorcerers and idolaters and occultists and all the liars, their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. What's the meaning of the books? Angels record every one of our thoughts and spoken words in our books, in which God-ordained destinies have been written. There's an accountability for every word we speak and think in any given situation because at our death we'll be confronted with those records and asked whether we repented and accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. There's a path to getting saved and it's not through our own strength. If we look at Philippians 4:19, I'm reading from the Amplified Bible, by the way. And my God will liberally supply your every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. So God supplies for all our needs, as Philippians 4:19 says, which means that he will put supplies, suppliers, people, mentors, friends, spouses who will lead us to him directly or indirectly. The bottom line in all of this being John 15:8. My Father is glorified in earth by this, when you bear much fruit and prove yourselves to be my true disciples. So we're to bear fruits, which means we're meant to make more disciples. We're meant to multiply ourselves. And in this way also to give Him all of the glory in the bearing of much fruit, because we can't do that out of our own strength. We can only do this through His power in us. And He's not the God of small means. He is the King above all kings and leads all the nations always. Let's look at what the psalmists say in Psalms 20:6-9 and all of Psalm 23, all of Psalm 24. So in Psalm 20:6-9: Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright. Lord, save the king! May the king answer us in the day we call! The king being Jesus Christ. So Psalm 23, the Lord, the Psalmist's Shepherd, the Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort and console me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell forever in the house and in the presence of the Lord. Psalm 24: The King of Glory Entering Zion. A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness of it, the world and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the streams of the rivers. Who may ascend unto the mountain of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. He who has not lifted up his soul to what is false, nor has sworn deceitfully. And that refers to Revelation and the passage on the— anybody who practices the occult. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who diligently seek him and require him in his greatest need. Who seek your face, even Jacob. Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of Glory. There's a process to experience a public display of God's power. We worship Him, we call His name, the name of Jesus. And what is His name then? What's the power behind it? What can you expect from calling His name? What manifestation, what display of power can you expect? So if we Check out the names of God in the Bible. If we refer back to Philippians 4:19 and John 15:8, and these are manifestations of Jehovah Jireh, meaning the Lord will provide, that reflects God's provision for his people as in Genesis 22:14. And since he is Jehovah Jireh, He— this leads him to show up as Jehovah Rapha, meaning the Lord who heals. That signifies God's ability to heal both physically and spiritually, as in Exodus 15:26. But he also shows up as Jehovah Shalom, meaning the Lord is peace. It emphasizes God's role as the source of peace, as in Judges 6:24. And because when we lift His name, He is Jehovah Nissi, meaning the Lord our banner. It represents God's protection and victory in battle, as in Exodus 17:15. However, at all times He is Eloi, meaning the God who sees. It reflects God's awareness and care for His people, as in Genesis 16:13. And He wants us to, to be set apart for Him, leading sanctified lives of prayer and worship, not out of our own strength, but through Him as Jehovah Mekodesh meaning the Lord who sanctifies, indicates God's role in setting his people apart for his purposes, as in Leviticus 28. So these names not only reveal God's character but also provide insight to his relationship with humanity, showcasing his attributes such as love, power, healing, and provision. Understanding these names can deepen somebody's faith and relationship with God Now I'm going to challenge you today. Are you expecting El Shaddai? That's translated as God Almighty, and this name highlights God's ultimate power and sufficiency, as in Genesis 17:1, to show up and display His might today. Are you expecting Jesus to come in all of His power? All of His might to come and turn your situation around today. Raise your faith to a high level, because if my faith is on you being rid of a health issue once and for all, and you believe only getting through a medical procedure, your faith needs to rise and meet with mine, because where two or three pray as one, there Jesus is. And Jesus is the Healer of all healers, the Doctor above all doctors, the Banker of all bankers, the CEO of all business people, more. Let's pray. Lord Jesus, I lift up to you all the people who are listening here today. Lord, we put our faith up, we raise our faith to bring it to the level you want it to, to be at, in order for you to, to show up, in order for you to enter in and display your power. Goodwill will not settle for less than your almighty power, for the fullness of your presence, the fullness of your fire, the fullness of your healing, the fullness of your provision in anything that we need to be provisioned for today. Lord, we repent for not believing as we ought to believe, for having a faith that's too low for the level at which you want to operate. Come, Lord Jesus, come! Come in your power, Jesus. Come, touch us today, Jesus. Do your thing. Jesus, have your way. Jesus, we surrender to you. Jesus, have your way. There's a healing anointing. There's a healing anointing.
