In this bilingual (French/English) devotional sermon titled “United We Stand – Debouts et Unis,” the speaker reflects on Luke 3:17, where John the Baptist describes a winnowing fork that separates wheat from chaff, gathering the wheat into a barn and burning the chaff in an unquenchable fire. The preacher interprets this image as a divine call for believers to undergo separation and purification. He emphasizes three agents of that purification— the blood of Jesus, the fire of God, and the Scriptures— each described as a means of setting believers apart from the world. The sermon repeatedly urges listeners to commit to daily sanctification, to “plead the blood, plead the fire, and read the Scriptures out loud,” and to become pure vessels for God’s kingdom. The speaker contrasts this path with continued worldly association, declaring that remaining in the world is a choice that leads to judgment. Throughout, the message is interspersed with rhythmic, prophetic vocalizations (glossolalic utterances) that reinforce the urgency of the call. The overall purpose is to motivate the audience to a heightened, continual state of holiness and active witness.

Bonjour et bienvenue à Debout et Unis. Hello, welcome to United We Stand. Partagez de bon cœur. Aujourd'hui, on va se tenir sur Luc 3:17. Today we're standing on Luke chapter 3, verse 17. Luke chapter 3, verse 17. He's ready to separate the staff from the wheat with his winnowing fork. When he will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning the chaff with never-ending fire. That's John the Baptist talking about Jesus. Hanaribadaribedebesheli, who he has mis apart for the purification. Harribadaribadaribedadadana, sorribeliaribeliari, korrabasha yarimana ribeliaridara, orribebeliarinadarabadarabarararashaya, orribaribaribadaraha. We're in this time when there has to be a separation, a setting apart for greater purity, for the time of purification. We there! This is now! What can separate us? The blood, the scriptures, the fire— because the word of God is sharper than two-edged sword, and the fire burns burns to ashes, and the blood sanctifies. Greater is He that lives in us than the one that lives in the world. Doesn't He deserve our setting apart? Doesn't He deserve our standing apart from the rest of the world? Shayyarrrr, for Him, for His purposes, for our relationship with Him. Korrabadarrr, Shayyarrr, so He can do for us above and beyond what we can ask or think. Harre dadadadadadadarre, so we can be the vessels He needs. Us to be for his kingdom. So we just— Jesus, we say yes, yes, we will do whatever it takes to be set apart, to get our fill of fire every day, every day. We'll do what's needed to be purified. Shukr. Not to mingle with the world anymore. That time's finished. We can't mingle with the world anymore. You can't associate with the world anymore. That's finished. Those who who still want to remain in the world, they made the choice, you know, they made the choice, and they'll get what you said you've prepared for them. So Jesus We want You, and we will plead the blood, plead the fire, read the Scriptures out loud until we remain in the secret place, occupying as we have to be occupying and letting You occupy us. So we can go out and share the news of what you've done for us.
