Amanda Seales Reveals She Is Autistic, Drake SUED, & More on Megan Thee Stallion

In this episode of the pop‑culture wine‑talk show hosted by Couture Bae, co‑hosts DJ Jordan and Polo discuss a wide range of current celebrity news and industry dynamics. The conversation opens with a brief mention of Amanda Seales publicly disclosing her autism, then moves through several headline‑making stories: Drake’s alleged use of an AI‑generated Tupac voice and the resulting lawsuit threat, the ongoing legal saga surrounding Megan Thee Stallion, the New York appeals decision on Harvey Weinstein’s case, and the contentious boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney. The bulk of the episode focuses on a deep‑dive critique of Amanda Seales’ interpersonal style, with the hosts arguing that despite her talent she repeatedly alienates collaborators through over‑talking, contradictory statements, and poor social awareness. They cite specific incidents—her Instagram Live after being ejected from a party, a contentious interview with Issa Rae, and perceived failures to apologize for past remarks—as evidence that she “sucks the life out of the room” and jeopardizes future work. The hosts also reflect on broader industry themes, contrasting raw talent with the need for relational energy and “reading the room” in order to succeed. The episode concludes with each host promoting their own podcasts, social media channels, and upcoming live events.

Good morning and good afternoon, winos! Y'all have another episode of Wine Is the New Tea every Tuesday and Thursday, 12 PM Eastern Standard Time. Y'all already know We are bringing y'all breaking news, breaking news, breaking news from Martell Holt and Sheree Whitfield playing in our faces to Harvey Weinstein. Is he going free? All the way down to Drake. Aubrey might be getting sued, baby. We have so many topics, so much to discuss. But before we get into it, I want to introduce some of our co-hosts today with myself, starting with DJ. DJ, introduce yourself, baby.
DJ Jordan, the one and only. Relax and take notes. And y'all also know me from My Olive Leaf. What's up?
Yes, come on, King! And I have another king up here. Polo, let them know where you from.
What's good, guys? You already know it's your boy Polo, CEO and founder of The Uncut. We've been having a great episode, man.
Oh, and y'all already know me, Couture Bae, pop culture phenom. Your favorite blogger's favorite blogger. I mean, we serve nothing but the hot tea, which is the wine, honey. But we're gonna start off first with Martell Holt and Sheree Whitfield. So are they playing in our faces? Martell was out here calling Sheree Mrs. Holt. Do you think this is a storyline for Real Housewives of Atlanta? Do you think they're gearing up for Love and Marriage Huntsville is given a plot set up by Todd. Starting with you, Paula, what are your thoughts?
It's very much a scheme that Todd set up for him to come to you with the bullshit, because if they think that we don't know at this point that this is a storyline— they don't want each other. Martell like them young, young, uh, his chickens. And you know, we love Trace. She looks great for her age, but she is not young. She is not his go-to type. They are not gonna work. It's never gonna work. That the, the relationship contract has been renewed for this season of Housewives of Atlanta. Filming just started too. They are ready. They getting it loaded. They listen, they getting us ready already online so we know what to see when the cameras— when the trailer come out, we already know what to see.
Oh DJ, what are your thoughts on this?
Sheree and Martell, I agree 1,000% with Polo. They playing in our face, they getting it hyped, they doing exactly what Ryan Garcia did a couple days, playing crazy, you know what I mean, to get us to tune in. And, uh, and it's working. We, we— everybody's talking about it. So, uh, so best of luck to him on this upcoming season.
Listen, y'all don't think they in love? I heard Martell was out there working with a monster. Ain't that what his His side chick CoStar told Tasha K, like, said she said she— if, if she gonna go young, she gonna go get somebody young with a strong back.
And who might be in love? Sere might be in love. Yeah, might be in love. Oh yeah, do he got it? Because I know he was still trying to get it.
I mean, y'all know got all the property. She need him to lay hands. He a good old country man. He from Alabama. He might be over there doing something, you know. Sheree needs something, you know, working with a monster. She's just trying to live her best life.
Yeah, Martell don't love him. I'm sorry, he couldn't love his wife.
He could love his wife.
She gave him 5 years to cut the side piece off. He couldn't even love the wife. He ain't gonna love no damn Sheree. She get a fool made of her every season by a different man. Martell just got renewed for season 2. It's no different than, than, than, uh, Walter and Kenya. It's no different.
I'm Walter and Kenya now.
Come on now, it's no difference. This is a transactional process. It's no different.
Oh, transactional. I mean, listen, Martell needs the funds, don't he? Got child support. Pay your child support. Pay your child support. Listen, Martell, if you in it for a check, be in it to win it, okay? We need you to bring something anyways, because who's checking in for Love Marriage Huntsville? I mean, all the drama is off the show and not on the show.
All right, and it ran its course because I'm tired of hearing about Martell and Melody. Like, if y'all not gonna bring Sheree onto the show and let her get into it with Melody, I'm tired of hearing about it. Like, I don't want to hear about it no more. Y'all ain't been together in 5 years and y'all still getting into it. So yeah, um, this is just another check for Martell. You know, he keep his hands in the bag. I gotta give him that. He keep his hands in some kind of bag. Even if the bag fall through, he tries in a lot of different ways. Martell gonna get it back one way or another.
I mean, can you be mad at him? I mean, I'm interested. When I saw Miss Hall, I said, I know you lying.
I said, oh, See, that's how they know what they doing, because they got my attention quick. Miss Hope, I said, let me cut on Love and Marriage Huntsville, let me make sure I'm caught up. Let me, let me, let me watch the last season of Housewives of Atlanta. I need to be caught up with this new season because Miss Hope, that's big. You don't just go out there saying Miss Hope. Hold up, hold the hell up.
Now he gave her the name, girl.
That's the whole last name. The ex-wife just got the name removed. How you gave it away that fast? Melody just became Sharique. She's been like, hell, let her get a— you know, let her get it off her a little bit. Like, she just dusted it off her shoulders. She's responding to the name, literally.
Listen, it's giving reclaiming my time, and he said, I'ma snatch it back. He didn't even give it to the baby mama. Oh my God, girl, what you gonna do, baby?
Poor baby mama, she's just here for the show too. And she ain't getting no money out of them.
Get her name out there though. She gonna get her name out there doing that.
I thought they would at least brought her on the show. She can't even get a cameo appearance on the show.
Do you think they gonna bring her on Real Housewives of Atlanta? You know they messy like— they messy like—
they are. Look, they messy for the check. Love and Marriage: Huntsville, they try to be a little classy and not— no, no, no. We need that old school production back. But we just bum guard you and you don't even know that the person's gonna walk on set. Yeah, bring Arian on the set, bring Melody on the set with him and Sherelle on the date. That's what we want to see. Talk about the child support. We want to see that. I don't want to see the setup, walking in, y'all eating with the chef, talking about threesomes. I don't want to see that. I don't want to even hear about Sherelle.
I mean, well, she has an advantage over the girls. She can't get pregnant. So, you know, maybe Martell is enjoying himself over there. You know what, got a body. Sheree got a body of a 21-year-old.
Okay, you do got a body of a 21-year-old, a face of a 55-year-old, but the body of a 21-year-old. Now she do look 21, like, because, you know, Sheree heavy on the FaceApp. Oh my gosh, she loves it. So she do look 21 when she use that app. And so sometimes they go good together.
Oh my God, Sheree don't look 50 in the face.
Okay, she look 42. Okay, 42, 21 in the body, because the body is hitting though. So I'm trying to tell you.
Oh my God, oh my God.
I'm trying to tell you, look, that's what got her that Mrs. Holt title. It was from the back, not from the front.
You ain't no good. You ain't no good. But speaking of no good, can we talk about Harvey Weinstein? Breaking news, the man behind Time's Up, Me Too, the face of the movement. Has been found not guilty in New York. The charges in LA are still sticking, but the, but the Court of Appeals in New York said the trial judge did misconduct. What is going on with New York? They're always fumbling a huge case, something where it's dealing with people's lives.
Yeah, we know.
What are your thoughts, DJ, starting with you?
You know, Harvey Weinstein is the perfect example of white male and rich, you know what I mean? And that's what it is, you know what I mean? Because they're saying in the allegation they allowed uncooperated testimony to come in, but they always do that, you know what I mean? They always have people testify to the behavior patterns of predators and different things like that. So they did it in this case, and he just happened to have one of the best lawyers in New York City. That was able to go in on it and say, hey, based on these testimonies, we feel like it's a mistrial. And they went for it. So he gonna spend another 3 to 5 years at home because he gonna get out on bond, and you know, they gonna drag it out.
Oh yeah, what are your thoughts?
I'm just hoping that— because so the charges are still sticking in Los Angeles right now, so that's 16 years that he was looking at. He's still, you know, it's still sitting in his lap right now. So I'm hoping that they all day long reopen that case up and let's get some new evidence in because the man is guilty and he's disgusting.
He's guilty.
And just how they did my boy Bill, he need to be up under the jail. Why he get to be— I don't care about them two canes he, he walking with. Walk around the prison in them same canes. Walk around the prison in them same canes because I don't feel— they got them all slouched over. That don't make me feel bad, baby.
You got to play the part. Listen, I'm telling you right now, if I ever get caught up in a mess. I want the Bill Cosby attorneys. I want the Harvey Weinstein attorneys. Hell, I want the Diddy attorneys because they got some sharks.
I don't want—
I want the Tyrone Blackburn, baby. I don't want somebody that might fumble the bag. I need somebody to fight.
You don't— you don't want Fanny Willis?
I want somebody to get up in them— in them documents. I need you to go back.
Yeah, I need you to do all the legal stuff. Listen, I might be— listen, I might be guilty, but you better Get me not guilty.
God, I need you to find a loophole.
You want to find a loophole?
Because baby, what— when I saw this, honestly and truly, my heart went like this. I said, how do you allow something so huge, something monumental, to slip through your hands? That judge is going to be recused, mark my words. They are going to make that person stand down because it is Crazy.
They all work, you know, they all work with each other, man. This is all politics. This is all politics. I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to the LA Chargers. Like, this is a politics game. This is a money game. That man has money, he has power, and he old on top of that. They're gonna do everything in their power to make sure he either die or don't go to prison, one of the two. Bill, they threw Bill under the prison before the charges even stuck, and I can't even like, you know what I'm saying? So it's a racist, it's a racism, politics, and a money thing, and that's just the truth. That's just the God.
What is, what are your thoughts on it, honestly?
You know, my heart goes out to the survivors because it looks like they're going to be dragged back into court to have to relive all of those crazy experiences, all of those messed up experiences all over again. And, uh, and, you know, my heart goes out to him because that, that in and of itself is the travesty in this, outside of him just being able to get a new trial. You know, now they're going to have to rehash these whole things. They're going to need additional therapy from reopening old wounds. It's just, it's just messed up, you know what I mean? It's messed up all the way around. But, but I hope he's reconvicted, obviously, because he was the catalyst for this whole MeToo movement, you know what I mean?
Literally all this started because of him.
I do want to say this to the victims. This is why it's so important when it happens, report immediately. Remember when Lupita came out and told us about Harvey? They didn't want to listen. Lupita is not missing sleep at night because she said it immediately. She said that man said come upstairs, and she said, come upstairs for what? What's upstairs?
Okay, is it another—
I've already proven I'm a talent. Why do you want me to come in the room? What is in there?
Exactly, because I'm not going in there with you.
Not going in there. So again, my heart goes out to the survivors. You know, we have to cover this as content creators, as owners. Listen, this is why it's important. I tell y'all, say it now, scream from the rooftops, you know. And if you need some hush money, make sure the hush money covers you for at least 2 decades. Because at the end of the day, money doesn't cover up the mental anguish. It doesn't absolve you of the pain you're gonna feel. You still gotta see him. I believe in report them in and get your money at the same time. Who said you can't do both?
Pull up Cassie. Cassie showed y'all the perfect way to do it. Cassie said, I'm filing that lawsuit first, send me that $30, then I'm gonna go sit with the investigators. That's how you do it. You get, you get all your fruits and labor out that basket. You get it all. Because so they did wrong, they need to pay, and they need to go to jail. And yeah, Harvey needs to be the first one up there. I'm so sorry, he just do. I'm never gonna not say that. And if I could lock his ass up myself, I would do it.
Not to lock him up, I just feel like this, this is a huge blow for New York. Again, New York stay losing, stay dropping a bag, and it gives them a bad name. New York is the same people who locked up the Central Park Five with barely to no evidence, okay? So You know, every time we turn around, New York is dropping a case. At this point, don't even try them in New York, try them in Connecticut because y'all are doing a horrible job. Horrible job.
New York is not going to get it taken care of, I promise you.
They not—
they want the opposite of what we want and they make sure it happens every single time. Like, what?
Just fumbling the bag everywhere. Just drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop. Again, our hearts go out to the victims. Um, fight for it, fight for it, fight for it. This is why you have to follow the rules and the laws of the land. You can't do hearsay. You can't just be like, oh, because this is a high case, I'ma persecute this person. No, you have to follow the laws. Because look, the lawyer found the loophole. The lawyer found the loophole, and it's falling on the judge. So I wonder, do y'all think the judge is going to get in trouble for this?
I don't, I don't. I think they all having a, uh, I think they're all having a shot, uh, behind and behind the court at the nearest bar. I think they are having a good time, like, we did that, we did that one. Y'all did do that one. We gonna get y'all ass. It's only a certain amount of time that these people are gonna be able to do this. I'm telling you, like, you know, New York is probably one of the hardest states that, you know, we have had the hardest time trying to overcome. When it comes to the segregation and the way that people are still treated in New York. And so the criminal system is no different. Hell, Rikers Island is the worst prison in the damn United States, and all of that happens up there. So we still working to, you know what I'm saying, make everything a whole lot more cohesive when it comes to that. So I wouldn't expect the legal system to be no more better at all, but I do know for a fact that this will not be like this forever at all. And all these judges and all these people who's been around for years and years, and they work with each other and they friends and homies, these people is gonna rot and they're gonna have to get on one way or another. I'm telling you, we the young folk is coming in to take over. It's not gonna last forever. So Harvey, you guys, they're not gonna let Harvey die. No, I'm telling you that now. It's not gonna happen.
No, I agree. I agree with Polo 1,000%. It's a whole nother regime. That's, that's poised to, you know, take power in that city, and rightfully so, because like you said, you know, they've dropped the ball too many times on too many high-profile cases, and it's put so much doubt in not only the people in New York City but those of us that are watching all over the country, you know what I mean? And so it's just a matter of time, you know, you can look at the mayor, you can look at the district attorney, you know what I mean? They dropped the ball on some of the most pivotal cases and things that are really for us as Black people that could really make us feel like, okay, now we can start to begin to trust the system again. Because Black people, at the end of the day, we know we don't have no faith in this thing. We are— we literally expected this situation with Harvey because we know that him and his team, they never give up, you know what I mean? They were never satisfied with that man getting that money, which is essentially a life sentence, you know what I mean? And they were— they were not gonna stop at anything until this man was able to get back home. Or get free, you know what I mean? And like I said, they can drag this court case out for the better part of a decade at this point.
Oh, y'all are spitting. Speaking of dragging the court cases out, we gotta talk about Drizzy Drake, okay? He might be facing a lawsuit from Tupac's estate for using the AI version of a diss track he had for Kendrick Lamar. Do you think this was a clever way to respond to Kendrick, or do you think he's going to face some type of financial payment? Starting with you, DJ, because you're a DJ.
No, I, I don't think it was a good look on Drake, you know what I mean, to use Tupac's AI voice in a diss against Kendrick, you know what I mean? If, if you know anything about Kendrick, Kendrick is beloved out west, you know what I mean? He, he's the prince of LA, for lack of a better way to say it, you know what I mean? And Drake should have went at Kendrick just on his own to try to you know, uh, leverage the whole Tupac energy. Because of course we know Tupac is a legend. He's respected on the East Coast as well as the West Coast. And then try to leverage that in a diss song against somebody like, like Kendrick, it just wasn't a good look. And you got so many people coming out of the woodwork at this point wishing for Drake's downfall, you know what I mean? And, and with this situation, he may have handed it to him.
Oh, and I'm sorry for calling you a DJ, DJ. My bad, my bad, my bad, my bad. But Polo, what are your thoughts on this Drake AI Tupac verse to Kendrick Lamar?
Um, I think that it was definitely a little corny, um, for him to do that. I thought it was corny. I did think it was corny. I'm like, because it's not Pac. Like, it would have been legendary if he would have went and, you know, found a whole nother, um, like old Pac verse or a quote that we never heard. But he used AI, so that made it corny to me. However, he's not— with the family trying to sue, um, they're not gonna get any money from this because he's not making any money from this, you know. He's making no profit from it. The song is not on streaming platforms. He's not making any money from it. And honestly, anybody can make an AI song. Anybody can make a song on any beat and put it out. As long as they're not making any profits off of it, you really can't do anything about it. And so I think that was just for, uh, the— as far as with the family, I think they probably just wanted to clap back at him in some type of way, and that's the only way that they could clap back. But they're not going to get any money off that, you know. He can do that. You can use AI if you would like to. Like, I could go and make an AI Tupac song right now and post it on my Instagram, and his family can't sue me for it because I'm not making any money off of that, you You can't sue somebody on something that they have no financial gain on.
And so I feel like this, the younger generation, they don't really have a respect for— no, and I'm gonna just be honest, I, I've never heard anybody in the younger class of hip-hop speak highly of Tupac. They don't even care. A lot of them feel like he was a fraud anyway. He was a fake gangster, you know, he, he wasn't from California. So the fact that they rep California so hard when he's from Baltimore is insane to them. They, they really don't care. Um, I thought it was clever. I thought it was funny, to be honest, because these rap beefs have been funny. It's just a bunch of rich people who are bored in the house, in the mansions. There's really not nothing going on. Every time they turn around, one of their homeboys or homegirls is in the news for suing somebody. So they're like, look, I don't want to get sued. I'm bored. I'ma start some mess. And I like both of them. I like Kendrick Lamar and I do like Drake, but I find it weird that all these men are ganging up on Drake. Like, y'all feel Drake is the Thanos of rap? Really?
It's literally— Drake literally is running the rap game. That's why, like, he is running circles around these people. Drake is the only artist I know that can change the type of genre of music, who can change his sound every album if he wants to. And it's going to sell. The album gonna sell every single time.
And so it sounds to me like they need to build up a fan base of women versus getting mad. Because honestly, I remember when beefs used to be nasty. I mean, even though I was too young to understand, hearing no Vaseline right now, just something about it. No wonder they was about to fight. He didn't hear them up. Something about it just Yeah, who shot you?
Yeah, yeah, I used to love all that. Yes, you know, they kind of weak with it now. Like, they like— it's like female beef now, but it's funny. Like, like, I feel like the male rap— I ain't gonna lie, actually, the first person who just made me feel like this was a hip-hop beat was Chris Brown just recently. You know, he had a crazy hard diss track, but everybody else, it gives me female, uh, beef. Like, it don't give me that whole hardcore beef. Like when the males used to beef back in the day, listen, everybody was talking about it, everybody was on it, uh, every line of the songs was disrespectful. It was F them kids. And now it's like they're using AI voices and it's kind of just corny to me now. It ain't really just like, oh, like nothing that got us— that has us off our seats. Like it did back in the day. So I really can't get jiggy with the male and the beef and all this, you know. It's funny, it's corny. Whenever somebody can make a hit record, like, I'm sorry, you got to catch my attention. You got to snatch it. Like, Chris, he snatched my attention. The only thing with Drake diss that snatched my attention was the Tupac thing. Anything else he said is, I'm tired of your voice, I'm tired of all that. It sound, you know, it's the same thing, you know. Yeah, like, they not coming like that no more. They not—
but you know what, the radio personalities hyped it up. I remember when Ether dropped and they said, hot dogs, hot new dogs. It was like the world went silent. I remember going to school, I was like, did y'all hear that new dog?
That's crazy. Hey, look, what Ether was— but Ether, Ether was, was hard though. Look, it's, it's, it's I'm gonna bring up the female. Sheether was hard too. That was hard too. That was a 7-minute diss track. That was hard too.
Like, I like all the business that came out prior to social media was, was, was hard, you know what I mean? And just like, oh, they took on, they took on a whole nother thing. You knew it was on site. The, the beefs these days are more like publicity stunts to keep their name out there, so they're not really You know, if they win the beef or whatever, it don't really matter because they know going in it's all entertainment, you know what I mean? Nobody's gonna get hurt, nobody's gonna lose, nobody's career is gonna be over as a result of this. And they're just playing to the fans, you know what I mean? It's a chance to show their level of artistry, or maybe not, you know what I mean? Their level of creativity, or maybe not, you know what I mean? And whether or not they can really, you know, go at somebody. But it is interesting, to your point, Bae, that all of these rappers are, are kind of piling on Drake. So it— so I gotta ask myself, like, have y'all been kind of like lying in wait for the better part of a decade with all— because it seems like now y'all kind of coming out of the woodwork, ganging up on bro, when all of y'all haven't made hits with dude, you know what I'm saying?
So he begged them for a hit. Okay, every single one of them. That's what's crazy. Look, he didn't get y'all biggest hits. Biggest hits.
I mean, it makes me go back to Rick Ross, like, and I find elements of Tupac, like, I like Hit 'Em Up. I like everything about— first off, click in the set you claim, you know, something about that. Just be like, yes, him telling, you know, both— damn, not both deaf, but, uh, what's their name, tell them you got sickle cell, shut up. I was like Oh my God, like hearing it just—
I miss that kind of beef when they didn't have no care. They say whatever.
I mean, embarrassing. You know what, the last time I was really like excited about hip-hop beef was when, um, Lil' Kim did, uh, Quiet Storm the remix. Yeah, something about that, just like everybody do it, it was like, oh my gosh, like, go ahead, girl. Okay, I love a good nasty verbal annihilation. Something about that penmanship, the lyrical ability. I think the new generation cares about that because back in the gap, they was fighting, they was pulling up. I remember seeing Lil' Kim go to prison.
I remember seeing that. Me too. You don't see that now at all, like, and it's because the crowd don't care.
I remember when the Game got on stage and said, 'G, you not,' and the crowd went crazy.
That was like— that's what I miss. If y'all go beef, beef, even if it is for publicity, make it feel real. Make it feel like that again. And I hate to say that, but they are the ones that's bringing it to the table, you know. Not saying I want to see them beefed up, but I'm saying if you're gonna do it, do it. Like, keep us entertained and make it seem real. Make me feel like you really want to knock his head off his shoulders. Like, like, hey, that's how it used to be back in the day. Like, I used to— like, like you said, with, uh, Game got on stage and said, you not— that was everywhere, bro. Literally, you know what I'm saying? Like, I want to see that. I want to hear AI.
I don't want to hear t-shirts.
Yes, literally, literally. I need them to bring it back.
Yeah, you wanted to bring it back? Bring it back, but minus the violence.
Yes, minus the violence, because they was doing a bit like— they was actually having shootouts back then. I don't want to see y'all have no shootouts or nothing. I just want—
I'm gonna give y'all a classic one though. Y'all remember when OutKast went to the Source Awards and Andre was like, the South got something to say? That, that, that was classic too.
Yes, you know what, that was a good year. That's when, uh, Suge Knight got on the stage.
If you tired of the producer, right, all of the videos, you see, like, I need people to call them out again like they was doing. Like, they not calling them out, they scared. And that's why the R&B man just came and shocked the world, because people are not releasing diss tracks like that no more where it's disrespectful. Like It's F you and your whole family. And, and I feel like when it comes to dissing in hip-hop, you gotta come hard. Yeah, they coming soft. They putting AI on songs, they singing this shit on songs. How the singer rapping and y'all singing on the diss track? I can't quite— you know, hey, I'm gonna be up here talking all day with these weak disses, but—
oh, not these weak disses. But before we go into too much more Winos, I need y'all to drop those wine glasses. We have so much more coming up. We are going to be talking about Ryan Garcia and his fake mental breakdown. We're going to be talking about Diddy and his drug mule being indicted. And of course, we're going to be talking about Meg Thee Stallion and this lawsuit, honey. But we got to pay them bills, okay? Because Tasha K don't have it, so we need the sponsors to keep you in. Hey, we got you in the fucking wine cellar. You already drinking. I normally do a toast, but you said give me the wine I was ready for you. I was ready. I was ready. Jessica Diamond had mentioned some things that you wanted to clear up. Correct. Is there beef? I'm not going to say it's beef, but it's definitely like high energy. Like, you know, I guess word got back to you that she had these girls jump you or somewhere. They come bomb rush me in my sleep, and that's what happened. I was trying to get to her motherfucker. So how'd you meet Takeoff? That was my heart. That was my everything. So you was— One of his main ones? The only one? You think I wasn't? I was all in the house, the bed, every house they was in. I burnt one. I didn't even know you used to run with R. Kelly. What's going on with that? It was for his birthday, his 48th birthday. It was in Atlanta. I just got a private invite basically to be one of the models there. And— OK. All right, winos. If you enjoy shows like this and would like to see more with me on stage in your city, well, I'm coming. Tickets on sale right now. Link in the description box as well as the bio. Hurry up now while tickets last. Okay, Virginia, May 12th at the Funny Bone Comedy Club. Y'all do not want to miss out. Tossakayonstage.com. And that interview, child, I want to see what she was doing over there with R. Kelly. Girl, why?
Because we went off after that, girl. What happened in the room? What you was modeling? Let me— what happened? Tell me what happened. She's talking about it was his 48th birthday. I'm like, what, man? What old are you? How old is he? And what was this? Y'all, we got to find out what's going on.
We got to get to the tea. We got to get to the Tea. Y'all know that exclusive tea is only dropped there. Shout out to Latasha Transrina Kebebe. But y'all, we have to talk about Ryan Garcia. Ryan Garcia fakes mental health issues for publicity, and it worked. I think the world and Devin Haney underestimated him because they thought he went insane, and at the end, he was successful and down and, and came out on top as the winner. As the winner. Yeah, like starting with you, DJ, did you think something was wrong with Ryan prior to the fight?
Man, I, I knew something was wrong with Ryan to the point that I betted against his ass and lost money. That's how much I went for it, you know what I mean? So when he went on a podcast and said that he was trolling, I felt played. I think that Ryan then gave these fighters the blueprint on how to, on how to get over, you know what I mean? To fake like you're going crazy, to fake like you're on some type of drug. And, and then on top of that, him coming in 3.5 pounds overweight, I figured his ass was out of shape, but it was all a setup.
Oh, it definitely was. I, I, I, I just, I mean, I, I kind of, um, I disagree a little bit because when I seen it, I knew Oh, he's just doing this for publicity. Like, number one, I guess because I've been working at— listen, y'all, on a media news site, so I see this stuff all the time.
You get it.
The camp— somebody's recording you acting crazy, and then him in the interview, you just bust out singing a song. And I knew this was all for publicity. They wanted people to talk about him. Like, this is what they wanted, and this is what we did. And, you know, I feel like people should take, um, take notes on what he just did. Because not only did people underestimate him mentally, they underestimated— they underestimated him physically. And they thought that because he's out there acting crazy, it didn't seem like he was taking the fight seriously. It didn't— it just didn't seem like he was as serious as Devin was. And he went out there and whooped Devin like a, a bad child who was acting a fool at school and the mama just got a hold of him with that belt.
Some whoop that trick, whoop that trick, right? From up in the club, like banging on the seat when he was wearing his all white, looking like a rich Caucasian white woman, and his linen. I said, oh, Devin is gonna tear him up. Thank God I didn't bet no money. Thank God I didn't bet no money because the boxing, you just never know. So someone drinks the wrong type of water that morning they lose it. Okay, I just— I didn't want to gamble it. I said, I don't know about this fight. Yes, he did lose against Tank, and then I thought maybe he's having a mental breakdown because of the Tank situation. People, they don't feel he's a good fighter, but that's weird because I thought he was a Golden Gloves boxer.
I thought, you know, he's a great boxer.
He's been boxing since he was a child, so I don't know why they underestimated him. Him being 3 pounds over, it was from that drinking. Because he said I drink every day. I said what?
And, and while Devin in the gym doing jump ropes and hula hooping, he over here throwing back shots. And that's who, that's who y'all put y'all money on? Devin was up here hula hooping on camera and Ryan was throwing back shots. It was a mess. And I was like, what is he doing? Like, I felt so embarrassed for him.
Like, ah, we always got to root for the brother. But that, yeah, that was, uh, that was brutal watching them 3 knockdowns. I was like, goddamn, man, when is this shit gonna be over?
I was like, please end it, please end it. And then the daddy get online and he all embarrassed. He embarrassed the son, got knocked out. He's trying to go at Floyd now.
It's just too much going on because the daddy been saying Devin Haney is the next Floyd Mayweather. Not, not losing like that, you know, not getting whooped like that, you know.
Oh, he got turned every which way but loose.
But loose, baby was fighting for his life, okay? And then he just— you could tell he was tired, he was winded. Like, who was you training with? Because I saw Ryan training because he was going live. He would show the girls. That's why people didn't take it serious, because he's like, I'm coming from my session. I, I don't know.
To me, yeah, he trolled, he trolled all down.
He didn't call off the fight when he was doing all that, all those tweets online saying something about the groove and all this other stuff. I said, oh, Where is the team? He's locked out his money. It was all a ploy, all a scheme set up by Paul to come to you with the bullshit.
No, he sacrificed that $1.5 million he wound up having to pay Devin for being 3.5 pounds over and got the big bag, you know what I mean? So he sacrificed that little money for the long money in the end when he got that whole purse. So to me, that's just a, uh, that's just a blueprint. I think you're going to have fighters come purposely overweight in hopes that the fight goes forward so that they can come in stronger than their opponent, you know what I mean? And, and, you know, of course you will get something like that from a Floyd Mayweather. He's a tactician, you know what I mean? He's a strategist, and he knew based on the Haney family that they was going to fight that fight regardless of what, because they had a statement to make, and He baited them and they fell for it.
Do you think that's why he got to keep the belt, because of the 3 pounds overweight?
That's exactly why. He came in, you know, overweight, and so technically it wasn't a title fight. But, um, but you know, he got the money, which is what he, he came to get more than anything anyway.
The title really don't matter. It matters over there maybe, but in the real world, in the real world, that title don't matter. Your ass whipped like that, you get your ass beat.
Yeah.
That title don't matter at all. That video, they're gonna be— every time he comment, they're gonna be putting them clips in the comment every time. The title don't matter.
Hopefully he uses this, um, you know, we fall down but we get up, okay? Hopefully he uses that to fuel his motivation to train harder. Maybe he needs to train with, uh, old boy from Idaho or whatever, you know, get out there and get his breathing up because he just looked windy. It didn't look like Ryan Garcia had more strength than him. He just looked tired. I don't know, maybe he was doing something he ain't got no business doing. Who knows? But y'all need to take it back old school, when old school boxers separated from the family, the, the social media, and came with the aggression.
They stayed with the trainer all day, every day, until it happened. Now they chilling. Well, hold up, really, it don't matter at this point because Ryan Garcia was chilling with the family, taking shots, and he still came out and won. So I don't know, either you can fight or you can't, damn it. Hey, you gonna win, he wasn't—
either you could take a punch or you can't. And, and, and Devin showed that he couldn't, he couldn't deal with that right at all.
And he kept, he, he, he kept doing side shots. I'm like, why he keep hitting this man in the back? Yeah, like, what's going on?
He was trying to take him out. He was trying to take him out. He need a new strategist. But speaking of new strategist, Danny's drug mule Brandon Paul, you know, the one we saw get handcuffed, so he pleads not guilty. Predictions on how this is going to go for him, you know, bringing a little something something on the plane when they were saying he had the pink Starburst and whatever else for Titty Bop and Did he do it? Did he not? Like, Polo, what are your thoughts on Brandon Paul pleading not guilty?
I mean, he can plead not guilty all they want. They gonna put him in jail just because he's associated with Diddy, number one. They trying to find a way to put Diddy in jail, so they gonna put everybody who's in wraps with them, who they can put in jail, they're putting them in jail. Trust me, he's gonna go to jail. He's gonna get— he's gonna get some type of something. Trust me, he ain't gonna just walk away scot-free. Then they caught you with drugs. I never understand when people do that. Like when they actually catch you doing it, like, and then you plead not guilty. Like, sir, I saw you doing it. I took it from you. Like, I stopped you and took the drugs from you. They found the drugs on him in the airport. So I never understand plead not guilty. But again, that comes with having that good lawyer. That comes with having that good lawyer because it don't matter if he did it or not. What that lawyer going to do? What is that lawyer going to do?
He's gonna have a good lawyer. DJ, what are your thoughts on Brandon Paul pleading not guilty, uh, to being Diddy's drug mule? What are your thoughts?
Y'all know that white boy already writing a statement. He ain't about to— he ain't about to do no time for no niggas.
That ain't—
that ain't— that ain't never gonna happen in America. A white boy is not about to take the fall for no niggas. It's not gonna happen. As a matter of fact, they need to turn that into a movie because that's something that has never been even done before. A white boy taking a fall for some shit, that will be an interesting storyline because it is and has and never will happen. So you want to go into fights of fantasy, think that that white boy gonna do some time behind Diddy. He gonna plead, he gonna plead out and say that I was on drugs, I was on Perc or whatever, whatever, coke, methamphetamine. I need to go into a drug rehab. And that's why they're writing statements against everybody— Sean, Justin, everybody.
It's my mental health. Just put me in a hospital all day long. He better be crying to him. Please, I'll tell you everything. He gonna say, I met up with Yung Miami right here at the, uh, Citgo, and I gave her the pink Starburst And if he hop on the jet, he gonna tell it all.
And guess what?
He gonna tell it all, and they still gonna give him some type of disciplinary.
Hopefully Diddy has some type of pool. He's probably gonna get him a lawyer. He's probably paying for his legal— y'all know how it is. If Diddy is really— if Brandon Paul and Diddy are locked in like that, Diddy got it covered. He gonna make sure he goes to a Betty Ford, a nice facility, so he can kick the habit, you know, he can, um, say nobody locked in with no drug dealer. I'm a college dropout, I just wanted to party with some celebrities. Y'all know how they do, they do this all the time. Like, this is nothing new. We've seen Lindsay Lohan with the substances and she walked away from prison. So, right, that's true. No, she was taking it, but okay, you know, somehow that Sean Hawley— shout out to Sean Hawley, that's who's on Diddy's team— she just, you know, fights the case. So maybe the lawyers are like, look, look, you don't need to turn. We go— we're gonna make sure you never have to see a day. But the moment you turn, we're gonna make sure you get the max. You understand me? We don't care what Florida is talking about. Say you have a habit, okay? Get up there and cry about your lost long dog and how the economy is so stressful. Look, look, now they're not gonna give you no real time. Don't you turn on Diddy, because if Diddy is who y'all claiming him to be If he even go up in there saying anything about Diddy, the sons, the daughters, the side pieces, the main chicks, the mistress, and everybody else, he might not make it.
It's not even a might in the world. They say, they say everybody dead around Diddy, so I don't know about no mights. Hey, that's all a legend. For real, I don't know.
My thing is this. His family had to know how your son was one of the, you know, a budding athlete turned at these parties, flying on these planes. They knew what they said.
They knew.
He— what is he, 23, 24? He was taking the drugs himself. So ain't no telling. I mean, they could really argue, why are we listening to a crackhead?
For real.
Like, I'm not arguing with nobody who found Pete Coke. Like, he found pink Coke. No, like, he— where you get that from? I don't even know this man. Like, where you get that from, sir? That, that was, that was some damn Kool-Aid.
I'm like, I can't.
But I, I do think they gonna use him as first. You know how these, how these, uh, prosecutors do. They start trying to arrest anybody around you for any little thing that they can just to get you to talk. And so this just shows me that they are really taking this Diddy thing serious and that we might see some charges one of these days. I don't know. I don't know though.
But yeah, he's definitely the weakest link. They gonna put the squeeze on him, and at the end of the day, you know, he, he gonna say that that Diddy is the one who got him on drugs. You know what I mean? He was an athlete. He was in shape. He had a whole life in front of him, and he started going to Diddy parties, hanging around Diddy, and now all of a sudden he's, you know, he's a drug addict. You know what I mean? So he's going to leverage everything, including white privilege, to get out of that situation. And his life will be fine. Like I said, he gonna write statements. Hell, he gonna even write statements against the twins. You know what I mean? So I ain't concerned about that white boy at all. He, he— his life will go on. Not him. They gonna have to pick up the pieces, and they ain't gonna stop until Diddy living in the basement of his mama house.
And that's true though, that's true. They, they finna go through every person they can. I'm not gonna lie, I just hope they don't mess with my girl Young Miami. I just pray they don't mess with man.
But you know, I mean, she wasn't on the plane when he was getting arrested. He got arrested by himself, baby.
They say she the one who delivered the pink, uh, the pink stuff.
He didn't get caught. Brandon Powell got caught.
Yeah, the white boy got caught.
He should have, he should have used his privilege a little better. But speaking of privilege, we have to talk about Megan Thee Stallion. The hot girl is in the hot seat behind former photographer Emilio Garcia. He says he was forced to watch Megan, you know, busted wide open with a woman in the backseat of an SUV. The event took place in 2022 on a trip to Ibiza, Spain. Polo, starting with you, how do you feel about this?
Honestly, and I gotta be real, y'all, I, I think that at some point we gotta stop treating Megan Thee Stallion like the victim. Like, all these type of stories keep coming out about her and her sexuality and what she's doing to people. I'm starting to believe some of it because how many people are gonna say the same thing about you? Or how many people are going to say that you put them in an uncomfortable situation and it's not true? I just don't think everybody's lying on her at this point. I wasn't there. I was not in the car. I wasn't smelling The Badussy. I wasn't there. However, however, however, I don't think he's lying. I do think this is a money grab though. I don't think he was really like affected by it because I do feel like they were good friends. Like, I've done a little research and they were good friends. I'm talking drinking together, taking shots, having fun, you know. So I don't— I think he got fired last year. He's like, you fired me? Bet. You did something I didn't really like? No way. You know, so I'm gonna hit your pockets and I want to embarrass you. I think it's that. However, I do hear these type of stories about her all the time. Like, something got to give. And why is it always dealing with her having sex with somebody? I mean, this— I done lost count at this point. And I'm just being honest. I'm not trying to woman bash, or I'm not trying to— I'm just being real. How many different stories of different people are gonna come out. It's only been about 2 years. What's going on?
Oh, DJ, what are your thoughts on this? Make the thoughts—
I agree with Polo with this one. We gotta, we gotta start seeing it for what it is. Make Megan— Megan off the chain, you know what I'm saying? She make Megan get that liquor in her and it's, and it's whatever, you know what I mean? At this point, that's the common denominator in all of this. Megan plus alcohol, it's gonna be some freaky shit going down, you know what I mean? So, so, and don't get me wrong, she looked good now, so I don't believe he was traumatized by what— whatever was taking place in that back seat, you know what I mean? I think he was entertained. He might have had to crack the windows a little bit because it got a little, you know, interesting, you know, you know, at the end of the day. But I don't think he was traumatized all that much. But at the end of the day, we got to see that, that, that consistency with Megan in this, in this whole alcohol thing and these allegations that keep coming up with incidents with her being intoxicated. I think it's time for her to go ahead and, uh, and check into a facility and get some help. For real, for real.
Well, I do want to say this, this was back during when she was going through the trial. Um, I think all that compiled with the death of her mother, then the death of her grandmother, she was going through a lot. She was facing a lot, and then she had that public backlash. Um, my thing is this: when you are in the position of power, even if you don't feel you have power, start treating these, um, the entourage— like the artists of the '90s, remember, they wasn't allowed to ride in the, in the blackout SUVs. They wasn't allowed to get over PJs, right? They weren't even allowed at the trips. They said, you got to meet me here at this time, at this time, and if you don't meet me here, you don't get paid. So I think we need to get back into that. I think we you know, we've allowed for the help to be a little too privileged because now you don't create this, you know, this barrier, this bond. You turning up, he turning up, and he went and looked for something because he's mad because he's not suing her for the SA or, or feeling like he had to watch her bust it open with another woman. Mind you, I said maybe it was smelling bad in the car, I don't know. Maybe it was a little hot to trot, I don't have Any clue, baby? It was smelling like Hennessy and fish. I don't know, I don't know. But I do know this: Pardi's not in the lawsuit. Uh, he was the one who sponsored the trip. He had everybody out there. We only seen 4 people, so which one was it? You know, I saw that he had some contract changes. He agreed to it. He became an independent contractor. This is why I say you have to be about your money. I, I'm not about the fame. I want my money, okay?
Where is the money?
Where is the money? Where is the WAP? Okay, I'm talking about that green, not that WAP her and Cardi was speaking about. I don't want to do that. I don't want to rub elbows with you. I don't want to be at the red carpet. I want my money.
I want the money.
I don't care nothing about the fun. I can have fun on my own time. Give me the money. But maybe it'll start forcing these celebrities to treat their help like the help, you know. I get it, being a celebrity is hard. You lose a lot of your independence. You can't really, you know, talk to people like you want to. You have to isolate. So since you gotta isolate, baby, we gotta start drawing the line. Like, you are the— you're the help, you are the employee. And as the employer, you cannot be kissing and, and, and swimming in the lady pond with your employees. 'Cause it only takes one time for him to be like, well, she was busting it open in the car and I was uncomfortable. I couldn't escape.
I couldn't escape.
I don't know how to escape.
What's gonna help him is that he, he's a part of the LGBT community, so he already don't want no cat. And so, okay, on top of that, on top of that, he had to see that. Now I'm gonna be real. I've had a friend, you know, start doing some sexual— this is a close friend of mine— start doing some sexual actions in the car while I was driving. And I'm gonna be honest, I was uncomfortable. Like, I was— it was a girl and a guy, but I still was on— and I was cool with both of them, but I was uncomfortable because I had to be in the car in that moment.
Like, for you to see in 4K.
Okay, so I'm just saying, like, I kind of understand a little bit of what he's saying. Like, I can only imagine this, this somebody, you know, you got cool with, but you met them because you worked for them. Now you seeing her eat a little twat, it's hot, the windows up, it's a little smelly. Like, I'm tired. Listen, I'm uncomfortable. His stomach probably was bubbling a little bit. I'm just saying, like, seriously, the man said it was too much. It clearly was too much to to take to where he has to file a damn lawsuit because he a part of the Rainbow Coalition.
You know what, I'm telling y'all right now, I, I don't care what you do, just don't bust it open in front of me and don't pull out no coke, okay? Listen, we gotta draw the line somewhere now.
Please keep your legs closed. Listen, we gotta go to break.
This is not candy.
I do not want your leg to the moon in the car with me. Keep your legs closed. I do not need you.
They not gonna have us back.
We sorry, y'all.
I'm just saying, man, the manager not gonna smell all that. And listen, it was probably late at night after a show. She been sweating a little bit down there. She been sweating all day. It was hot, steamy in the car. The driver probably cut the AC off.
Back and forth on stage.
Okay, because maybe he saw something he didn't like. Maybe the girl did something he didn't like. He was like, wait a minute, cat.
He seen cat. He don't want that. He told y'all that a long time ago. He don't want no cat. He don't want to see nobody eating it. He never wanted to check and see how to eat it. Why he want to see you eat cat? He's supposed to—
where was Party? Where was Party? That's all I want to know.
Where was Party at?
How— like, child, Megan, listen, I'm glad Megan has cleaned up her image a lot. And the things of your past will follow you. We know this to be the case. But I'm telling y'all, people who are behind the scenes, The Help, look, You listen, y'all keep suing y'all bosses, we gonna go back to the '90s where they gonna start telling you, you gotta show up at this time here, and if you don't, you won't get paid, and I'm gonna tell everybody not to work with you.
Okay? Yeah, ain't nobody getting no privileges because y'all tell too much.
Y'all talk too much.
And listen, if you gonna tell the story, tell the story. Like, who was eating the cat? Tell me how it smelled. Tell me what you was really going through. Was it Megan down there? Was she getting her cat eaten? Let us know. Don't come like, oh, she was doing sexual intercourse. I don't want to hear that.
Let us know. Tell us the real truth. Tell us the real truth.
Tell me the truth. Did you peek? Oh, did you— the cameraman, did you get a video? A picture? Like, give us something. Show us the pictures in the lawsuit like they did with Stevie and the man, or whoever. Like, show us the pictures in the lawsuit.
I want to see the proof.
Lay it on the table for me, please. I'm sorry, y'all, I'm throwing off.
You don't throw it off. You don't throw it off. But why— no, drop those wine glasses because to share this live because we're going to be talking about Amanda Seales. We got to talk about that 3-hour and 10-minute interview over there on Club Shay Shay, baby. Oh my goodness. But first, we have to pay the bills with the sponsors. Raise those wine glasses, wine nose. Let's go. Hey, we got you in the fucking wine cellar. You already drinking. I normally do a toast But you said, give me the wine right now. I was ready for you. I was ready. I was ready. Jessica Diamond had mentioned some things that you wanted to clear up. Correct. Is there beef? I'm not going to say it's beef, but it's definitely like high energy. Like, you know, I guess word got back to you that she had these girls jump you or somewhere. They come bomb rush me in my sleep. And that's what happened. I was trying to get to her motherfucker. So how'd you meet Takeoff? That was my heart. That was my everything. Everything. So you was one of his main ones, the only one? You think I wasn't? I was all in the house, the bed, every house they was in. I burnt one. I didn't even know you used to run with R. Kelly. What's going on with that? It was for his birthday, his 48th birthday. It was in Atlanta. I just got a private, uh, invite basically to be one of the models there. And okay, all right, winos, if you enjoyed shows like this and would like to see more with me on stage in your city? Well, I'm coming. Tickets on sale right now. Link in the description box as well as the bio. Hurry up now while tickets last, okay? Listen, Virginia, Tasha K is coming to see you May 12th. Y'all have to show out for the queen, okay? Okay. Tashakonstage.com. And y'all can see that messy interview With the girl that's talking about Jessica Dime, R. Kelly. What was she doing for R. Kelly?
Takeoff. She, she been with everybody in the industry. She— I was like, damn, how you Jessica Dime, Takeoff, R. Kelly? I was waiting on her to say Michael Jackson.
Like, TashaKLive.com exclusive, explosive. Okay, why sister? Get on the app, get on the app. I'm on the app.
Okay, I'm on the app too.
We gotta talk about it. Amanda Seales. Oh God, formerly known as Amanda the Diva, Disney star, child star. Things she pointed out in this interview with Club Shay Shay: she's autistic. Question mark, no longer protecting Issa Rae. It seemed like she was trying to flirt with Shannon, you know, Club Shay Shay, because she, she need a strong man in her life. Yeah, daddy issues. Okay, okay. Shay Shay was trying to let her know like he didn't see some of the things she was seeing. She wasn't feeling that. Her being the jack of all trades Master of none, wants to be accepted so badly. Polo, starting with you because you run the Uncuts, what did you think about this interview with Club Shay Shay?
Okay, so I have like two sides of me when it comes to Amanda Seales. Like, I love her because I love that she really does just stand for what's right. At the end of the day, she just wants things to be right. But I think that She's just oblivious to the world that we live in because everything is not going to go the way you want it all the time. And that's what kind of irritates me just a little bit with her. It's like, it's always a problem with her. Every time it's always some kind of problem. Like, ah, give me a break. Like, I— listen, Shannon was so uncomfortable on his own damn show. Like, because that's the energy she brings to rooms. Like, she's going to challenge every little thing you say, and you know what I'm saying? And I just feel like that can be a problem. You know, you can, you can get what you want to say out, but also understand and respect how another person feels. It does not always have to be geared towards how you feel. Now, I did understand what she was saying with the whole racism thing, like, because it doesn't matter to me if it's a kid saying it or what. Like, if you're getting that every day and you're hearing that it's going to start affecting your mind. You're going to start thinking, you know, things about yourself even as a child. Because I went through it being dark-skinned. Like, I got called all kinds of names, and I still remember some of the names I got called as a kid to this day. I still repeat them sometimes. And, you know, um, so yeah, but I definitely— it's like I got a love and hate relationship with Amanda. I understand it, but it's like I'm tired. Like, like, like, I'm— she should be tired too, because I'm tired and I'm not even her.
Like, Please, DJ, what are your thoughts?
Nah, I, I agree 1,000% with Polo. You know, you got to look at consistency. Like, she's— she stays into it with somebody, you know what I mean? And always— and I, and I say to myself, everybody can't be wrong, you know what I mean? And what have you taken responsibility for at the end of the day? So I agree, agree with her on some of the political issues that she covers, and, and she exposes all, you know, usually right and exact on that. But in terms of the, the personal shit, and to Polo's point, that looks like the most uncomfortable interview that Shannon has ever done and probably will ever do. And it will probably be the lowest-rated interview that he ever does on Club Shay Shay, because usually if you watch his podcast, he has a level of interaction and engagement with the guests. He's basically just sitting back and allowing her to perform, for lack of a better way to say it. And that's what she's doing, you know what I mean? And at the end of the day, we, we want the conversation, we want the engagement, we want you to say something, see Shannon's response, Shannon ask the question, give him time to put his energy into the, into the interview, you know what I mean? But it's all her, and we've grown tired of her all the time, you know what I mean? Always in drama. So at the end of the day, she's talented, but she got some issues. Uh, I don't think she's autistic, I just think she's crazy.
Listen, you know what, both of y'all make solid points. And as someone who used to follow Amanda Seales, I thought Amanda Seales could do no wrong. I really championed her when it came to the Black plight, okay? She's a shade burner baby. No justice, no peace. But the problem is she don't know if she wants to be an activist or a celebrity, right? And you can't have it both ways. You have to pick. You have to pick and choose, you know, where you want to stand. And then the entire time when I heard her speak, from her talking about her childhood and, and how she felt at Disney and how she felt on Insecure Cure, and how she felt on HBO, and how she felt with Def Jam, and how she felt in the political space, and how she felt with working with other people, and oh, they don't accept me. My thing is this: Amanda has been given a plethora of opportunities, and she doesn't know how to maximize that appeal, that staying power. She's quintessentially the ideal look. She has the vernacular, the range, but it's that mouth because she doesn't know when to pull back. When she talked about Issa Rae, it was giving an overbearing spirit. Nobody cares that you set up a group chat so y'all could all get along. They did not want to hang out with you, and that's okay.
And that's okay.
She wanted to be at that Black Emmys party so bad where she wasn't invited. Because let's be very clear, don't show up to something of an elite status where you're not invited. It doesn't matter if so-and-so invited you. Did the person who hosted the party send you an invite? And it's okay not to be invited. And it was very contradictory, like she wants to be accepted so bad, but I don't care. You can't go and say Ninja at your corporate job and be like, why am I being punished? This show is about Insecure. Because you have this thing in your mind that you created that is not the reality. Now, Easter Ray probably does not like her, all right?
And that's okay.
See, it's important.
How come it took security when they told you to leave the first time? You should have just left. I don't care who asked you to stay. Clearly the post— the person hosting the party said leave. And then I get it, Saronis is part of the F-Boys, he shouldn't have spoke on you. But the fact she inserted herself in the drama of people talking about him, and he probably said, well, Amanda told me y'all be talking about me, and she told me to watch my back. So baby, you asked your own stuff out. Why are you inserting yourself in things that have nothing to do with you. When Samirah Wright's mama, Samirah Wright, said y'all are using my son for profit, y'all should have let her have that. You didn't lose no son, Amanda. You never apologized, not once.
Not once.
This is the same woman who literally defended Charlamagne when she says, oh, I stand for women, I stand for women, and they ask you about Charlamagne tha God, she said, that's my friend. Keep that same energy.
You keep it.
Then she's like, oh, y'all are receiving me so well, thank you, thank you. On her live yesterday, girl, Black Twitter don't support, okay? Black, Black support, Black Twitter, they like to go viral with they date pieces, but they not buying what you subscribing to.
They not buying what you putting down at all.
You was on The Real, couldn't get along at The Real. It's, it's like you always have issue with Flowistry.
Everywhere.
I challenged the wine.
Everywhere.
Look at the interview when Charlamagne had to tell her to her face, well, Marcia Ambrosius, she didn't say anything bad about you. And she was like, she had to take a step back and realize she was the problem. It's always something. She never apologized to that NFL player turned, uh, uh, brain surgeon or whatever he was doing with the brain. She never apologized to him for lying on him. She got into it with some content creators, some big content creators. On the YouTube streets, the YouTube space, and they ate her up. She never apologized. She's always the victim. And my thing is these— we saw Katt Williams being mistreated. We've seen Monique get mistreated. We saw the stuff going on with Country Wayne. We saw the things going on with Desi and the rest of the athletes that came over there, the Cam Newtons and, and the other comedians. We saw them speak their piece. She didn't have a positive story about nothing.
Except when it has to do with her personally, and that's, and that's what we've grown tired of, you know what I'm saying? Because that's the consistent pattern in all of her interactions. She's constantly the victim and she's constantly the one that's being done wrong, but not being able to see the part that she plays in all of this, you know what I mean? So In any situation, we grow tired as Black— this is just our culture— we grow tired of somebody being invited to the cookout and taking over the damn cookout, you know what I mean? Being invited to the family reunion and wanting to take the shit over. It's like sis don't know how to stay in her lane and play her role. She wants to have this dominant, you know, uh, uh, position in every single thing, and that's not— that's just not how we are. We don't— we don't— we don't do that in our— in our culture.
At all.
It's like she doesn't have—
it's not yours, right?
What you think?
It's like she doesn't have fun. Like, the one—
it looks like she's miserable.
She was promoting Chrissy Teigen and Jeff Foxworthy. Now, Jeff Foxworthy is an amazing, uh, comic. I think he's great at what he do. But the fact that she was pedestalizing Chrissy Teigen, and we know she's problematic in our community and there, I'm like, girl, what? That's you pedestalizing her. And I get it, she wants to be accepted, and I get it, a publicist should not have that reign, right? But I don't believe she was just coming to work every day wanting to be a pleasant person, because pleasant people have a pleasant experience at work. I work in corporate America, I have a pleasant experience every day until I don't, because I'm in control of your thoughts.
Exactly. Like, I'm in control of that. I, man, I've worked in every kind of field you can think of, and now I'm working in the media, and I've dealt with all types of people who are ahead of me, below me, everything. I have a pleasant experience every time I step on anything because that's the energy I come with. That's what I want. I'm not going to let anybody else have the power to make me feel every time I'm in a room it's a problem. That's your problem. I can't handle that today. I'm here for what I'm here for. And she does not know how to do that. And it's sad that a woman of her age and her wisdom, because she seems to be very smart, but she's too smart for her own damn good. That's the problem. Like, you overthinking yourself. Like, any— and she's stopping her own back. I would never want to work with her just because I know one day it's gonna be a problem with her. I wouldn't— if I was an executive or somebody offering a job or whatever, I would not want to work with Amanda Seales at all. And it's not that we just don't like her, it's just that we're tired of the complaints on everything. If maybe if it was every other thing, we wouldn't be tired, but it's everything. You find a way to make yourself the victim in the situation, and then you get mad when these people don't want you around. We tired. I'm tired. I'm tired of hearing about it. Literally, Nicki Minaj gets ridiculed for the same thing. Because let us tell you what we see. Let us tell you that, oh, we see that bad treatment. We, we see it too. You don't have to point it out every single time. You don't have to make a problem everywhere you go because now you look like the villain. And so that's—
and I do want to say this, I'm tired of us as a community saying, oh, she's too smart, y'all can't keep up. It's not that she's— she can articulate herself. It's not that she's educated. Is not that she has the vocabulary, it's the fact that she literally contradicted herself. She went into Insecure with the mindset, oh, let me be like this, because of her past experiences. I've never seen a woman like Amanda Seales who couldn't get along nowhere. I'm talking about nowhere. She works by herself on her pod and she's doing great over there, right? Shout out to Small Dope is. But when she's working with other people, it's always something. She sucks the life out the room. Watching Shannon Sharp, he was extremely uncomfortable. It was simply because she wants to overtalk. She's overbearing. She uses words and she's like, uh, you can't keep up with me intellectually. She has that attitude from the outside looking in. The interview was boring. Let's be very clear, it's gonna do numbers because she said some things about Issa to me, in my humble opinion, sealed the deal. She was trying to make it seem like Issa was jealous of her because of how the media wrote stuff up, and she's like, you're not going to correct that. And Issa's like, girl, I don't have time to be thinking about that at all. I'm writing a show. Why are you—
nobody has time for this—
about a journalist hit peace, you know, it starts there. And then I said, wow. Then she went on to say, y'all don't protect me, y'all don't protect me, y'all don't protect me, they didn't even want to come to my house. Listen, some people just don't want to hang out with you. You're not everybody's cup of tea. That does not mean they don't want to be a part of your tribe. They're just not feeling you at the time. You have to let people be receptive of you. And, and I think at her big age, is she seeing a therapist? Are you laying on somebody's couch? Because if you are, you need to go get your money back. For real, it's not working. It's not working. DJ, you're laughing. It's not working.
I, I, you know, for real, has tremendous talent but very poor social skills.
And, and, you know, in our culture, we, we, we need that more than damn talent. You need to know how to relate to us on whatever level we are. If we're in the hood, relate to us on that shit. If we incorporate, relate to us on that, you know what I mean? So she doesn't really know how to apply and when to apply the range that she supposedly has, and that's why she's so uncomfortable to be around. And, and to your point, babe, that's why, because with us, the, the is energy, you know what I mean? And, and to Polo's point, everybody don't resonate with everybody, and that's okay. But what we can't do is have one person, to your point, around and they sucking all of the energy out of the space for their own benefit. It's like, nah, that's not what we doing. That's not what we doing.
Nobody— and I would never have that type of person on my set, you know what I'm saying? So I totally understand her not getting jobs. I understand why they not calling her, because they know that it's gonna be a problem with you You're gonna be the problem one way or another. They're gonna regret putting you on that team. And it's sad because she's talented, she's smart, she's beautiful, she has all the factors that you need to be successful in this industry, but that mouth. She does not know when to keep it— just, just keep it to yourself, you know? You don't have to point out everything. You just don't have to do that.
And I feel like she never protect Issa because the moment she was thrown out of that party, she ran straight to Instagram Live to let us know what happened. That's not protection, Amanda. It's not protection. You tweeting about— I didn't care she tweeted about y'all, y'all can buy Jordans so you can get your— you can't afford a passport. I didn't care about that. I cared about what you tweeted about Tamir Rice's mom, okay? To me, that was disingenuous. All you had to do was say I'm sorry. A simple I'm sorry will go such a long way, and she don't know how to do it because in her mind she's right, you're wrong. And even if you are wrong— right, sometimes you just have to be the bigger person, and she doesn't know how to be the bigger person because it's always something. And, and I felt bad for her when The Real iced her out, but you didn't get about none of those women.
Nah, you didn't.
And I don't want to work with nobody every day hand in hand that I don't get along with. I just don't. Or who I know gonna have a problem. I don't want to do that. I'm never going to do that. And so Amanda Seales is just a perfect example of somebody who I feel like she doesn't know her worth in, in, in the instance, because I would never fumble my bag like this, man. Making it in this industry is like winning the lottery. Everybody wants it.
Okay.
When you get it, you better run it off with it. How are you fumbling bags because you want people to understand you personally when this is a business?
Hello, it's a business, literally. She said in the interview with Club Shay Shay, Shannon was looking at her, she said, and that's why I made sure I didn't hug so-and-so because they saw me getting thrown at the party. Baby, this is not my party. Polo, I'm telling you right now, if we at the same party and they kicking you out, I'ma just look. I'm telling you that right now. Honestly, I'm gonna hit you up afterwards. Are you okay?
Exactly. And I would never expect for you to fuck with your bag because they fucking with me.
Yeah, I'm not, because it ain't even worth dying on that hill for, you know what I mean? And that's, and that's the position that she takes far too many times, and it's so unnecessary and unfortunate.
So yeah, beyond. It, it's actually quite sad because I think she's talented, but it speaks volumes, you know what I'm saying? The things she tweets about, I'm like, you talk about you're this high intellectual being, but you're out here surrounding yourself with men who can't even get a passport, beloved. I mean, I sat there. I don't care if she has the throat out. I don't care if she's Black to the 10th power. Like, right, Amanda does not know how to— it's not even tone it down, it's to be in certain spaces. She does not know how to read the room. That, that type of energy, baby, you need to be on Fox News, CNN, be one of those commentary commentators like that. Because you want to be in an industry where you have to seemingly get along, you have to be like— and I do was something. When she wasn't invited at Issa Rae's wedding, I said, oh, she's, she's out. They don't rock with her.
She gonna cause a problem.
Absolutely. She gonna make it about her at the wedding. Oh God.
