And if you new over here and you want to sip and talk shit with us, you definitely have to hit that subscribe button. And if anybody ask you what's going on down here, around here, Everything's delicious. Even my name's delicious. And y'all better be hitting the wine glass. Oh my gosh, why does my screen do that all the time? I don't know. Okay, so here's the thing, guys. We're back. Episode 2. Sorry about that last shindig, but we tested the sound, so everything should be working. Okay, it wasn't our fault. It was honestly the software's fault. All right, we got the free version. All right, so this is Shoot Your Shot, all right? So episodic series that we created to find our opening act for our 2026 comedy tour that we're doing internationally next year, kicking off on my birthday, okay? So for those of y'all that are asking about Wine on Ween that's going down in October, it's not going down. The only thing that's gonna be going down in Q4, which is the last quarter of the year, is our show where we're gonna have all these contestants come back from all these episodes from Shoot Your Shot, and they are going to perform before you guys, and you guys are gonna choose who's going on tour internationally with us, okay? But at the end of the day, if they don't get the tour, they still get $300 and they get a lot of clout, all right? So we got a lot of people waiting backstage, and before we introduce those people, 'cause they've been waiting patiently and so have you guys, we have to introduce our judges. First things first, we got my dog, Sean I'm so good. You got that Dark Vader hat on again and them eyebrows like, you gonna be nice today?
Absolutely not, absolutely not. Bring it, bring it, bring it. If you, if you got a neck brace, crutches, with— bring it, okay? Bring it on. I'm excited.
Thank you, Sean. If you guys, uh, would like to know who Sean is, Sean is an excellent, uh, celebrity news commentator. He is funny. He is a comedian, all around talented. I have been following him for years, and he's been dragging me. And you know what? My gold heels, I'm wearing them on tour next year just for you. Just for you.
Yeah, we're going to talk about it.
Yes, you're going to talk about it. Okay. But guess what? I'm paid. I'll be paid in my gold heels, in the kitten heels. I will. I will. All right, so listen, we got Derrick, my friend, a comedian who's written for some of the biggest comedians in the world, worked with them. Traveled with them. I'm talking about Earthquake. Who else, Derek? You tell us your resume.
Uh, DC Young Fly nephew Tommy. Uh, Jimmy O. Yang, he's a huge Asian star. Um, hey man, a lot of people. Don DC Curry.
That's on the phone with Faison.
That's right, Faison Love.
What'd you say? Faison Love.
Faison Love, yeah, big worm.
He got a lot of love he can spread now for That's a big— they porn.
Y'all gonna stop this shit.
We hit Faison for interview and he is trying to hide from us. I said, you is too big to be hiding from anybody.
Correct. Well, I brought my Latasha K, uh, no shade shades tonight just in case.
I want my shades. I need my shades. I just checked in the Airbnb, dog. We ain't had no toothpaste, no soap. I said, damn it. I got about 3, uh, uh, Instacart drivers on their way right now from 3 different stores because, you know, I get my water and my meat and stuff and all that from Aldi's because it's cheap but it's organic, you know, European standards. Then I get my little, my little snacks and some, a little face care from CVS, you know what I'm saying? And then last but not least, I got some Church's Chicken on the way. So here's the thing, the okra and the biscuits, y'all don't know, you black.
Oh, you black, black. That, that just, that solidifies your darkness.
I get, I get a wing, but the wing is connected to the breast. I get a biscuit and I get an okra. I get a fried okra with some hot sauce on the side.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's on the way. Okay. But it's not about me and my Church's Chicken that is going to smell the whole room now because I'm waiting on it. You know what I'm saying? I come down here, I stay in vicinity because we always stay in the hood in ATL. Okay. All right. So listen, we got, we got our contestants waiting backstage. Few rules, okay? Few rules. Rule number 1, y'all ain't got 3 minutes up here. You got 30 seconds. All right? So we're going to let you introduce yourself, tell where you're from, tell what you're going to do, and then you got 30 seconds. And then all 3 of us are going to judge you. Now, me, Sean, and Derek are going to choose 3 people. 3 people. So y'all better bring y'all A-game. 3 people for $300. I think that's fair. And you go on for your chance to win at our finale that will be in person where you guys can buy tickets to. At the end of the year, all right? And you will get to perform in front of all the Winos. Teddy will be there, Sean will be there, Derek will be there. All of us will be performing along with the contestants, and you guys get to vote in person who is going to go on an international tour with us next year, okay? So I think that sounds fair. So we got 3 people. Last week we had like 6 or 7. I was like, that ain't happening no more. So we're gonna narrow this down, and it's not gonna be 3-hour show. It is going to be a cool 90 minutes. Okay, all right, all right. So let's, without further ado, um, oh, and forgot, I forgot, we got to show some love to our winner from last week, uh, Marcella. Just show up her picture, Jasmine, show up her picture. So, um, Marcella, yep, Marcella Love took home $300, and she is going to be the one that's going to be competing against the winner, uh, tonight on a stage at the end of the year for a chance to go on tour. Homegirl can sing her ass off, so I suggest you bring your A-game. Jasmine, can you fast forward a little bit in the, in the video so they can just hear a snapshot of what—
dry at the beginning?
Yes, towards the end, towards the end she was cooking. Go a little further. Forever. I believe in miracles. In life. Miracles. This baby, my dream come true. 8, 8, 8 it down, dog. Uh-uh, Shaw, you are still saying hell no. What? Why you roll your eyes?
Because we'll see her on stage, we'll see if she gonna do all that on stage.
Wait a minute.
Sure, we gonna see if she gonna do what?
She was cooking, walking down the tablecloth, literally cooking.
It was literally something in the oven, literally something on the stove, something in the microwave too.
She was cooking, she ate, and that, that's who the contestants gotta— they gonna be going up against her on stage. So y'all got to bring out A-game. We're choosing 3 of y'all tonight, and I think honestly Marcella could play Uh, Whitney Houston in The Bodyguard?
No.
If Kim can, why can't she?
No, no.
What do you mean no, Derek?
What do you mean no? No, you leave. She's that—
she did that.
She like this.
That means something, right?
Shut— I hate you so bad, bro. I hate you so bad.
Marcella can do it for Bodyguard. She got the voice.
Okay, yo, I did like the way Marcella sang last week. Like, yo, Marcella was singing the second go-round. The second go-round, Marcella really sang.
That's right. And she gonna sing, she gonna sing her ass off on stage. I'm counting on you, Marcella. Don't embarrass me.
Yeah, don't embarrass them.
But here's the thing, if they don't choose you, just have some whole cakes, some collard greens, some turkey necks and everything. I'm sure to change their mind, especially Derek's. It will change their mind.
No, no, I've actually been losing weight, so I don't, I don't need any food. Thanks, Tasha, but no thanks.
I like Marcella. I just didn't see her wash her hands.
You didn't see her wash her hands, Sean?
She didn't.
Not one time.
Are y'all ready for y'all's first contestant?
We are ready for our first contestant, guys. Uh, Remember, 30 seconds when you get up here, state what's your name, where you're from, and then what you're going to do, because you can sing, act, dance, do poetry, comedy, whatever your talent is. We're looking for it all. Okay? Because we could put you in skits for our international tour. There's a lot we can do with you. Okay? So do not be afraid. Send the link to somebody. If you know somebody that knows somebody that's got a talent, that want to shoot their shot. All right, so we're ready. Y'all ready? Shine, Shine, Derek, you ready?
Ready.
All right, first we have Born to Speak.
All right. Hi guys, in the car. Born to Speak, how you doing? I'm all right.
And don't worry about my neck, when I get some money, I'm gonna be straight for 2026.
2026. A little concerned.
Don't worry about that because you told me about the IV treatment, so I don't know what you're talking about. I'm gonna be healthy.
I sure did. I sure did. Okay, all right, so here's the thing, Born to Speak, where you from?
South Carolina.
All right, shout out to South Carolina. Um, and so what is going to be— what are you performing tonight? Are you gonna be singing, dancing? Uh, nope, none of those.
I'm gonna do a poem.
Oh, poem! My first actual poet, like, instead of rapping. I like that. All right, go ahead.
Dear troubled black males, don't try to sell me on your misogynistic plans of making you a better man while all you could do is who has laid in me with seeds without a foundation of soil, sustenance, and shelter to raise them in. I understand that you're used to the rows and concrete chicks with no self-worth or sense that raise you to the stature of men as we wither under the trampolines of your feet. Yes, some of us constantly change situations, wash, rinse, and repeat, and get stuck on another Negro Boulevard at the corner of same man, different name street. Your habits are clouding your vision. As your indecision to change your circumstance causes those that look like me to become just the happenstance in your self-titled play. You create soul-tied bills you can't pay, but the ones who get hurt are asphalt angels entangled in generational nonsense. You see, common sense wouldn't allow you to leave your woman alone to pray you make it back home from chasing fast cash and faster females. A real man will be kneeling beside you on that cold floor, not counting minutes until he can run out the door. If you are creating real dreams, your conscience wouldn't let you trade up on training day to a skin color that didn't help you get through college after bombarding you with collages of bought booty beauties and Cash App tits. And it's not jealousy, envy that you see in me because your departure from natural lips and hips makes rooms for the men who can see clearly the beauty in we, real woman essence. So go learn your lessons because we've graduated and maturated past any trauma and anger. We're magna cum laude in our nonchalance. We're on the Devon that stores for us, Frederick that prays on floors he bought us, and Kevin that make raising kids with us. In return, they'll get Connie that cooks meals for them, Wanda that works and contributes with them, and borns like me that breathe life into them. You see, troubled Black men, we upgraded from miscommunication and misogyny to real love for eternity. Now watch, we work. I have more, but you said I have A short time.
Beautiful.
That was, that was, that was, that was insane.
Beautiful.
That was— you had me ready to salute.
Yeah.
And it wasn't for all black men.
I'm talking, I'm talking about bad men. I'm talking about real men.
Hit dogs don't holler. I felt every word. I could have closed my eyes and you still would have gotten Like, you ignited the fire in me. Like, it— I'm looking at the comments from the winos and they are like, you— what a, what a great way to start off tonight's show. Like, you set the bar kind of high.
I agree.
I ain't gonna lie. Listen, um, Derek, I'm gonna start with you.
Okay, listen, uh, Born to Speak, uh, it's gonna be a yes from me. I love it. Uh, when you do— if you do come back, listen, here's what I want. You said you cannot keep your like your head up? What was the thing with the brace?
I have a dystrophy.
Okay, okay, so my son does too. Here's what I want to hear you do. I want to hear you do Tupac, Keep Your Head Up. Now you do that, goddamn it, I hope you win.
It's just slanted, it's up, baby.
Okay then, baby.
Yes, I didn't even notice the neck brace. All I heard was those powerful ass words, and I can envision you getting the Winos ready for a phenomenal tour. Thank you. Next year, that is, that is incredible. Like, Sean, Sean, absolutely.
I hated it. Um, I felt like—
here is your reminder, take medicine. It tells me when to take my medicine. I apologize.
Go ahead.
Okay, Sean hates it.
Okay, the reason I hated it is because it made it seem as if you were talking to a certain targeted audience, which is fine, don't have any issue with that, but it's given, like you said, you're talking to certain Black people, like certain Black men, right? You're not talking to all Black men, you know, as you're saying, right? And again, I do think it was beautiful. It was beautifully written.
Strong.
I think you definitely performed it well. You said it with strength, so I definitely want to compliment you on that. Very passionate in what you were saying. I just didn't like the context of what it was saying. And you have a neck brace on, so it was like, did a Black guy put you in one? So it's like, and he didn't, right? So it's like, bringing you on stage, I think—
no, a Black man didn't put me in one.
I'm sorry.
Right.
So I think that it should be more colorful, you know, and stuff like that, you know, not like, you know, roses are red You know, no, not anything like that. But I do think that it should be like on another like subject, um, is what I feel. But like, oh, I can only speak from a woman's perspective.
I can't speak from a man who has a penis. I can only talk from what I know. And if I can speak from a man with a penis, then I would talk about them. I can talk about bad women too, don't get it twisted. I can do that too. I'm talking from a, a happy, a, a place where we empower our women to want more. Than what we're getting.
And like I said, I think it was beautifully written.
And what—
okay, thank you.
What you did, like, overall, like I said, it was great. You were very confident. You could tell you were believing what you're saying, very passionate in what you were saying and whatnot. I definitely want to applaud you, like, on that one. I'm saying, like, everyone's not gonna know necessarily, like, your condition upon seeing you, right?
So me, that shouldn't matter.
I want you to hear my voice. I want to hear my words.
100%. And when you get on, if you actually make it on stage and whatnot, again, I think that this is a learning lesson because in the future, no matter what you talk about, because you— I'm not telling you to leave your craft. Keep your craft. Keep going after what you're going after. Like, don't change anything because of me. This is just my opinion.
Yes, sir.
And I appreciate you. I'm not talking bad to you. I'm just explaining.
And I don't want you to feel that way either. Like, I don't want you to feel like I'm literally like trying Humphrey, because I would not. And I don't feel sorry for you because I know you don't want people to feel sorry for you.
No, sir, I don't.
You can handle criticism and judgment. You could not. So again, I applaud you. And although I did not like it, it's still a yes for me.
That's so hard. I didn't like it, but yeah, good. How I feel Thank you.
Yes, I just didn't necessarily like the delivery, nigga.
All that for a yes?
Correct.
It's a hell yeah for me.
Hey, Born to Speak, I hope whenever your neck get better, you headbutt the shit out this nigga. You hear me?
I swear to God, I swear to God. But this nigga right between with that Darth Vader, like, he said, do the look, Darth Vader.
Go ahead.
How you doing? Yeah, how you doing?
Yeah, I love you, Sean, regardless.
Wow, I was thrown off by the neck brace. I didn't know what was going on here, but I'm gonna be honest with you, this is what talent is, okay? This is what true talent is. And I can see you giving an opening monologue to get the Winos just ready and writing something specifically for them. Empower them. So listen, if you're gonna make it all the way through to the end, please make sure you speaking to everybody. And during these times where we're all going through everything as a people, just use your voice to bring us all together, okay? So I'm just gonna do that. Uh, Derek, what is your answer?
Yes.
Okay. And it's a definite yes for me. We'll see you at the end of this show, Born to Speak. Go take your medicine and come back, okay?
Yes.
All right. Wow, Sean, what the—
bro, this nigga crazy.
What happened?
Yeah, we're trying to ask you what happened.
Yes, it was Sean. You took— let me tell you something. Yeah, Sean, there's a song called Drag Him Through the River, Dump His Body in the Yard, Leaving a Note Around His Neck. He used a badass yellow boy. Listen, Sean, you drug the shit out this lady, then you went— but yes.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, I'm being honest and I'm not here to be liked. I'm here to be entertained. That's why I'm here.
Who's next? Who's next, Jasmine? Who's next?
Up next is Envy and No Shannon. She told me she was 18.
Okay, all right, cool. Not No Shannon. First it was No Diddy, now it's No Shannon.
Oh my God.
Hello. Hey, Envy Hayes, how you doing?
I promise I am 18. I just don't look 18.
Where's your ID? Where your mama at?
First of all, I can go get her. You want me to go get her?
Yeah, please go get your mama, please, because I, I'm not trying to have her sue me because these y'all kids is getting out of hand these days. Y'all suing for $10, $50 million and stuff.
Yeah, because that's a child. That's a, that's a little girl.
Okay, where your mom at? Go get her.
She's right here.
Hey, how old is she? Do we, do we have your permission? To allow her to audition for this show? Yes, uh, she'll be 19 in August. Okay, all right, all right, we got that, we got video evidence. Okay, so you do know how these judges are now?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, watch your show. Yeah, my sister told her to get on.
My sister told me to join, so—
okay, all right then. I, I love it. I love a young girl with some confidence. That's amazing. I'm already impressed. It's already a yes for me. I don't even know what you're gonna do, but it's a yes for me. Please don't make me change my mind. All right, uh, Envy Hayes, where are you from, baby?
I was born in Missouri, but I'm in Arkansas right now.
Okay, so which one do you claim? Who do you claim?
Well, I claim Missouri. I don't really like it up here in Arkansas. I'm more of a Missouri person, so—
Okay, all right, cool. So what is your— what is going to be your talent tonight?
I'm going to sing.
Okay, all right, y'all ready? Sean, Derek, you ready?
I'm ready.
All right, this floor is yours. 30 seconds, 30 seconds.
The very first time that I saw your brown eyes, your lips said hello and I said hi. I knew right then you were the one, but I was caught up in physical attraction. But to my satisfaction, I knew right then you was just a friend. And if I ever fall, ever fall in love again, I will be sure that the lady is a friend.
And if I ever, ever fall— All right, all right, okay, all right, Miss Hayes. How you doing, Miss Hayes? So, um, it's okay. Derek, where's your whistle?
Oh shit, I forgot.
You got my shades on, where's your damn whistle?
Well, listen, I was trying to be— I can't be both of us and damn it.
Uh, exactly, I gotta get my shades. I will have them next Thursday. Yeah, because, uh, um, first of all, that is a good question before I give the floor to Derek and Sean. How do you know that song? You 18, right?
My growing up, my mom loves playing old music and my dad also loved playing old music. So growing up, I grew up listening to old music. I don't like the music in this era because it's so vulgar. Okay, I love old school music.
Okay, all right, cool. Um, I'm gonna start with Derek.
Now let me, let me, let me just say this here, Envy. I like the song choice because that's one of my favorite damn songs, you understand me? I love that song. I love the fact that you and your mama, y'all look like y'all could be twins, you know, sisters and all that, you know. Uh, let me, let me say this, Envy, are you in Northwest Arkansas, Southwest Arkansas?
Um, we're in the Southwest part.
Southwest, because see, I'm from Texarkana, that's why I'm asking that. Yeah, so you know, I want, I want to say yes to you because you close to me. Missouri is called the Show-Me State.
Yes, it is.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And Arkansas is the natural state.
Yes, it is.
Well, Envy, you're gonna have to show me another natural singer because there's a no for me.
I understand, sir. I understand.
Love you, love you much. Hey, but tell your mama I said hey.
You always trying to hit on somebody, Mama.
And shit, I was just speaking. I was just speaking.
No lie.
Don't worry, I'll be back. I, I'm having testing and stuff done right now, and I've had a long day, but my sister really wanted me to join, so I joined today.
But oh no, no, they're not done yet. No, hold on, they're not done. They, they still got—
no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, Sean, you still got two more people.
Sean, is your sister older than you?
Yeah, my sister's older than— I'm the youngest.
Okay, do you guys like each other?
Yeah. Are you sure? Yeah.
Like y'all like real cool?
Yeah.
Then the other side of the pillow, like— yeah, like she really like y'all?
Yeah.
Then I'mma say yes. Okay, if your sister isn't trolling us, then hey, you must have some top hidden talent. So I want to hear it. Uh, yeah, because I feel like your sister lining you up, but you say your sister not You said y'all could walk, and I asked you, are you sure?
Yeah.
So y'all really like— she cooks for you and everything?
Me and my sister's the best friend. I, I— we live like— we live so close I can walk to her house.
Like the friends that like each other though?
Yes.
Okay, then she got a little—
I want to— I want her to come back.
I want to—
I want to hear— so you're saying So you're— what is your answer? Is she absolutely yes? Why?
Hey, talk to that girl mama. Her mama know. Her mama sitting back there. Talk to her mama. Ask her mama what would she say.
And behave.
Mama, mama, before I answer, hey, hey, period. Hey, Miss Hayes, can I have a talk with your mama real quick? Just Just, you know, we the same age. Hi, Mama, how you doing? All right, you good? Um, what, what, what has always been— since you, since you've had her, what has been like something that she's always done naturally? Like she's just so good at it, huh? She's always saying she's done birthday parties, she's sung in choir. She's been in choir since she was like in the 8th grade.
I started in 7th grade.
So this is like— oh, so she didn't just learn how to sing? No, but what I'm talking about, like, is there something else, you know, you'd be like, oh my God, I could so see you doing this, baby?
Yeah, um, I—
she actually did modeling for Memphis, in Memphis. Um, she has a modeling degree, but she don't like modeling. She's into singing, baby. You have got to— you have got to take your modeling career serious. Your face is flawless. You don't need makeup. You are natural. I could see you with the, you know, the, the Gen Z like looks with the, the skateboarder looks and stuff. Like, I could totally see you doing that because I cannot see you singing. I'm sorry, baby. I love you. I swear to God, I hope your mama's still alive. But baby, I just— I, I— it's okay, she'll be back. She'll be back. Yeah, she coming back. All right, all right, cool.
I gotta— I gotta— this is my first time joining. I wasn't sure what's going on. I gotta get everything together and then I'll be back.
Okay, I believe in you. All right, all right, we'll see you back. All right, I love you and, uh, stay strong. I like your courage, I like your bravery, I love all of that. But please have a— I, I think you should probably take some advice from Sean. Um, I think there's something going on, but we, we can't put our finger on it though. But I She's nervous.
Yeah, I get nervous.
Okay, well, well, we'll give you another chance if you come back, okay?
Okay.
All right, cool. All right, all right, bye.
I want to do a celebrity boxing match with Sean.
Why?
Somebody need to whoop your ass.
Sean said it's your sister. There you are, your sister friends. I feel like she lighting you up.
Yeah, it's like, do you guys like—
are you like really friends though, or just like big sister, you know? Sean, I think it was a good question.
I'm gonna honest with you, I thought it was probably the best damn question we'll get tonight.
I know, that was a really good question. You said your sister, it referred to—
and y'all, and y'all cool? Like, she like it?
All right, y'all ready for y'all next talent?
Yes, yes, yes.
All right, we have the real—
we got to run this show now. You know how we get.
I see.
Come on now, $300. Now we only got one person through. Born to Speak.
Did you tell them that you're only picking 3 people in this?
We only picking 3 people, so please have your A-game on tonight. $300, $300. Okay, let's go.
All right, up next is The Real Mucho Flow.
I can't hear you. Hi, how are you? Hey, Renee, how you doing, Miss Renee?
I'm good.
I like you. I like your energy. What's— what you— what are you doing today? First of all, where are you from?
I'm from New Jersey, but I had to leave New Jersey because I owe too many— I owe so many people money, so I moved to Memphis. Okay, so I'm in Memphis and I'm a comedian. So, um, let me know where you want me to start.
I'm ready, I'm ready. Go ahead, go.
And now I want— um, when I moved to Memphis, the first time I moved to Memphis Um, when I got down here, I went to jail because somebody called me a boy, and I'm like, I'm not a boy. So when I went to jail, everything was all beautiful until everybody starts saying, we finally got a man in jail. And I know, dog, what I'm like, no damn man. So the next thing you know, I'm walking around in jail and everybody calling me Ronald, and I know my name is not Ronald. So after, you know, after my old man bailed me out of jail, I come outside and there's all these men out there dancing. So some man see the other dude, he like, I seen Ronald first. So they start fighting over me. So I ain't say nothing because I believe in men that want to fight over me. So I go to the doggone club and this dude just bought me drink after drink after drink. And he like, is you a man? Because you look so good to me. I have always wanted a chocolate man. And I said, hold up, I'm a female. He said, no, man. Then throw up all my drinks. So I'm like, what are you talking about? He said, well, I got $100,000 for a man today. I said, hello, my name His name is Raheem. We've been together ever since, engaged and all.
Okay, all right, um, thank you. Uh, so is it Mr. and Mrs. Renee? You know, the trans community got issues with me. I'm just trying to make sure.
I'm a girl, baby. I'm a girl. I just got a deep voice.
Oh, so you're not a nigga in a wig? Okay, all right, cool. I didn't know. I was, I was confused there for a second. Shut up with your face. Okay, um, don't hold the camera so close though. Like, give us—
thank you, Lord.
Guys, terrible. I am terrified right now. Derek, first of all, I'm gonna start with Sean. I'm gonna let the comedian be the next, okay? I'm gonna start with Sean first.
Sean, did you say that the guy made you throw your drink up?
Say that again, we can't hear you now. You got to be still now so we can hear you.
Did you say that the dude— did you say in your act, did you say that the dude made you throw the drink up that he bought you?
Yes.
That happened to you in real life?
No, but I appreciate you.
Oh, okay.
I was just checking, that's all. Um, where are you again?
I'm in Memphis, Tennessee.
You're in Memphis?
Okay.
And you do this comedian gig like as an amateur?
Yeah, I got a show for Mother's Day. Oh, you got to do my own shows as well? Yes.
You really want this to like go somewhere?
Somewhere.
It is going somewhere.
Oh, oh, it is.
Oh, speaking of— um, okay, yeah, that camera is like shaking us. She said it's going somewhere. Fuck them kids.
Yeah, all right, with the crayon, uh, flyer.
Is it a yes or no?
It is definitely a no for me, but it was a great try. Great track.
Why is it a no for you?
Why would it be a yes would be a better question. But why is it a no for me is just because it was just everywhere. I didn't hear any breaths at all.
You're right, you're right, I do talk fast.
Yes, I was wondering, I'm like, it was a lot, you know. That's— it's just a no for me.
Okay, you're absolutely right. A lot of people said I talk too fast. I just was talking fast because I got 30 seconds.
Yeah, you're right.
I got you.
Maybe I'll give y'all 45. How about that? So y'all can really slow it down. Um, Derek, I'm confused. What are you confused about, Derek?
I, I'm not, um—
Do you need a therapist?
Uh, we need—
I think he wants me. That's what it is.
No, Renee, I can assure you, all the fucking flirting I've done on here, you would definitely make me stop. Listen, Renee, let me ask you something. Renee, Tasha asked me if I'd ever— if I needed a therapist. Let me— now, and I'm being serious because I, because I like to get to— I like comedians. I'm a comedian myself. Have you ever been to rehab?
Um, do I look like I've been to rehab, Big Back? Yeah, it's always a flea rat that's trying to come up. Do I look like I've been to rehab? I know your titties bigger than mine, your hips bigger than mine. Your ass bigger than mine, but I know your dick is small. Don't play with me. I have never been to rehab, bitch. Excuse me, no disrespect. Excuse me, I have never been to rehab, baby.
Well, I just— well, I was just asking. You forgot to say that your gap is bigger than mine too. Yes, it is.
It ain't the gap between your balls.
Yeah, yeah. No, you, you did well. Listen, let me, let me say this here. Here, here's what I'll tell you. Here's what I'll tell you.
Go ahead.
Renee, I think that, um, I think, um, shit, Renee, I'm gonna be honest with you, man. You, you made me forget what the fuck I was thinking. Renee, this is not only beauty.
Is it a yes or no, Derek?
Oh, that— it ain't the looks and it ain't the beauty. I think that you should change wigs and careers.
I would never change careers for somebody that I have never heard of. For somebody I have never heard of, I would never change careers. We don't know who the fuck you is here.
Come on, we don't know. You ever heard of these bitches?
Excuse me, not bitches, kings.
You ever heard of them?
We don't know who the fuck they is, but we don't know you. So don't ever come to me and talk about I need to change careers. You need to change drawers, change some tight-ass panties, you big boob bastard. Motherfucker titties look like some calf tongues and he telling me I ain't funny. What's funny is your dick stick. What's funny is his booty is wider than my fucking mouth.
Quit playing with me, bitch.
Quit playing with me. Find somebody else to do it.
Hey, hello.
At this point, at this point, the motherfucking smoke—
I ain't no joke.
At this point, I've changed my mind.
It's now a yes because that was funny. I've changed my mind.
Snagga Puss got it now.
Oh Lord, he said yes, Renee.
Yeah, because he want to beat me up.
No, he don't, he don't beat women.
Calm down, Renee, you already musty.
Calm down. I stay musty, you right, because I can't fight.
No, we, we— he said yes, girl. Yes, you too pretty to be—
you, you too You be too perfect, girl.
Let me just—
okay, Miss, Miss Renee. All right, so it's up to me now. So we got a no and we got a yes. I could— I'm the only one that could save you right now, okay? Yes. Um, Miss Renee, um, I gotta ask, are your— are those real teeth? Yes, baby, they real loose. What happened? Why are they loose? Like, what happened?
Yeah, I gotta be honest, I used to eat ass and I ate the wrong ass and it Messed up my cavity. It burnt it out.
It'll do that.
It will.
Are you serious?
No, she can't be serious.
I don't— Miss Renee, um, I'm gonna be on— here's what I'm gonna say because she frozen right now. It's, it's, it's a yes for me, but I don't know if I'm laughing at you or with you. And so I'mma leave it up to the winos for you to, uh, convince them. Hopefully your Wi-Fi is working, um, when you come back for the last round. So it's a yes for me. Jasmine, keep her backstage, tell her to come back.
I'mma be honest with you, man, I think this is a— I think that was more talent than what we realized because I ain't never seen a crackhead with a house.
You still haven't? If that's true, I don't know if she's on any substances.
Oh, but I, I've worked at a clinic. The child is definitely, you know, the kind, you know.
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
What was it, the methadone clinic?
Yeah, man, you know that, man. Listen, she did from a— hey man, that was a lot going on, and she was roasting the shit out of me, and I have to let you do your thing.
Listen, I hope that she could come through and really rock it, because I didn't know if I was laughing I was laughing at her or with her, and it didn't make me feel good that I was laughing at her. And I'm like, is that true comedy? Because I want you to take— I want you to tell me a story when it comes to comedy. But she did make me laugh. And so I was confused about whether it was man or nigga in wig or woman. I did not know. But at the end of the day, I laughed and I had to go with my gut instinct, which was yes. So Jasmine, who's next?
Y'all do know y'all only have 3 choices, right? Moving on, we have, uh, Gerald.
We can't hear you, Gerald. How you doing? Hey, what's up? I'm good, I'm good. How you say your name? Ace or ass? Oh, it's Ashay. Ashay?
Okay, my name is Gerald.
Gerald. All right, Gerald, you come with your shirt unbuttoned and everything. How old are you, Gerald? I'm 33. Oh, okay, good. I thought you was— you know, they out here trying to Shannon Sharp us. No, not today. Sean likes what he sees. Okay, Sean, all right, so where are you from, Gerald?
I'm from Texas, all over this thing.
Austin, Houston. Now, you know you can't play music on here, you got to do acapella.
All right, I just need the words for one little part, but I ain't gonna sing with no music.
Okay, cool. So you, you singing?
Yeah, I'm singing.
And you don't know the words to the song? No, I know the words to the song. I get mixed up a little bit, but I want to try something new for y'all. Oh, okay. All right, so, um, what you gonna be singing tonight?
It's Before I Let Go.
Okay, cool. Go ahead.
All right.
Lately I've been thinking something's going wrong 'cause you got an attitude and you're not in the mood like you used to, baby. Girl, I can feel it when I hold you in my arms. The feeling is not the same. Can I be the one to blame? I don't wanna lose your love, no, baby. Damn. And I don't wanna say goodbye, no, no, baby, 'cause true love is so hard to find what is right between your lips and mine. And mine, before I let go, baby. Okay, all right, all right, all right, all right, we heard enough, child.
Wait.
Show off, show off. Nah, take this thing serious, you know what I'm saying? I see, I see. Show off, show off. Where is your whistle, Derek?
Shit, I had it out.
I was geeking. Latasha was having too much of a good time.
I don't know what you're talking about, huh? I don't know what you're talking about.
Listen, hey, Tasha.
Uh, Gerald, you start with you, Derek. Go.
Yeah, Gerald, man, listen, uh, I think you came on here ready. I think you came on— you look like a singer. You look like you could be a star. You look like somebody that, uh, that I believe people would pay to come and see. You have a certain look about you. Um, but I'm gonna— I'm gonna be— I'm gonna be very honest with you, Gerald. And this is no— this is no shade to you. Sean is the reason why I'm saying no to you. All that shit he was doing while you were singing fucked me up. I don't like it. I didn't want to hear this nigga moan while you— the nigga did a lip quiver while you sung. So, so guess what, Gerald? It's an absolute hell no for me.
Are you jealous or something?
And I understand, Derek, I get it.
Let me explain to you, it ain't jealousy. What this is, is if we go on tour, I'm gonna see that shit every goddamn night. Sean over there on the side of the stage and shit doing this. You're not thinking about—
that's what you're not thinking about, because I'm gonna bring the ladies to you. It's gonna be some ladies for you.
I don't give a shit about that. Sean, my partner, don't want to see the shit. No, nigga.
Interesting.
What's up with you, Tasha?
Sean, you ain't got to ask this nigga what he think, Tasha. You know what the fuck Sean think.
I don't know what Sean thinks. I don't know. Sean is bipolar in his thoughts.
Go.
Correct, very so much. It is a definite yes for me. Uh, that was amazing. He's definitely ready to perform. He's extremely confident. I mean, he's not bad to look at. So, uh, yeah, it's definitely— he could sing. The talent is there. The stage presence is there. I could definitely see him wooing your audience. You have many, many, many women in your audience. They would be him out there. Moneymaker. So, uh, yeah, I could definitely see him on a stage doing all of that and the women just like, oh my God. I could definitely see that. So he does have a quality to him that anybody could like, male.
So we're gonna— we're gonna make Sean sign a waiver, and you too. I don't know what your sexual orientation is, but y'all ain't gonna get me. Oh well. Okay, you ain't gonna go back and tell me I was assaulted on Tasha K's tour. By nobody. Y'all are independent contractors. Uh, so here's the thing, I'm a little confused, and I'm confused because will you know the words? I practice songs all the time. I learn a new song every day. I write my own song, so I'mma for sure know the words. I knew the words to most of these. Sometimes I freestyle it myself. I like to put my own span into it. But, you know, I want to come up here professional for y'all. Like I said, I take singing serious. So, okay. All right. So that was my only concern. Your, your voice, your voice is gorgeous. I think you're, you are a gorgeous man. Um, I think you will definitely woo the crowd. I just don't want you getting up there and forgetting the words and having to look down at the flow like Birdman claiming he was on tour, but everybody knows that was a, that was a Percocet.
Um, facts, facts.
Okay, um, so it is a yes for me, and we're gonna have to— we're gonna have to keep going. Um, we're probably gonna have 6 contestants, 3 and 3. Okay, so, um, it's a yes for me. Derek, you're a hater, by the way.
Thank you so much.
Just because he looks better than you and he can come on stage with his shirt unbuttoned, he doesn't have to work on losing weight.
At all.
Yeah, crazy.
Hey, Gerald, hey, Gerald, kiss my black ass. I don't care.
He just don't want his girl. He just don't want his girl coming out. That's all that is.
Like he worried about me.
All right, we'll see you at the end of the show, Gerald. Don't go nowhere because you got to perform before the winos, okay? All right, cool. This is gonna be hard. Here I go talking about we're gonna pick 3 people. We already done picked 3.
Yeah, no, he was good.
Pick 3. I picked one person, him.
No, you picked— we'll give a few. We got like 30 more minutes, so we good, you know. If we get somebody, we get somebody. We don't, we don't. Then the winos go on and vote and see who they gonna send through.
Derek, you did roast the first person and then say yes, so you voted for 2.
Yeah, I said Derek. Sean, you let the alleged crackhead through.
Hey, and then said yes.
Oh, Jasmine, you didn't have to say that.
I'm gonna—
I gotta remember things.
Okay, I want to rescind my shit on Renee. I'm gonna be honest with you, man, until she can find her teeth. If Renee can find her too.
I just didn't know if I was laughing at her or him. I was laughing at you, but obviously she can make people laugh.
You have that question, Tasha?
Well, we have a, uh, another one. Her name is PQ. You ready?
Okay. Yes. Okay, PQ. Oh, I apologize, you guys. Let me come back in here.
Hello.
Hello. Okay, where you from? Hey, so move because that light is the light. You're, you know, you got to sit against the sun. You gotta—
the light needs to be in your face, not in your back.
The sun has to be facing you, not behind you. Well, my camera is kind of cracked, but I could just stand like this. Yeah, can you wipe off the screen too a little bit? Just, just my camera. It's my camera that's cracked. You got a government phone or something? What? Hey. Please, please. It's not an iPhone.
It's not an iPhone.
We can tell. We can tell. Okay, where you from, baby? It's okay, it's okay, it's okay. We know you're doing green bubbles. Is it blue bubbles or green bubbles? Green bubbles. Um, this is my daughter that be doing— so what, what, what is your, uh, where you from?
Wichita, Kansas.
Okay, shout out to— we got a lot of Midwesterners in here today. Okay, cool. Can you set your phone down stable so we can, uh Somewhere. Yeah, okay. No, I don't— wait, this is a lot. Hold on, I apologize. Okay, yeah, turn off some of the lights up in there. There we go. All right, perfect. Oh wow, you ain't got no— I'm at home comfortable. This is not the other lady.
Be comfortable, child.
Don't worry about nobody. Be comfortable.
You ain't lying. Damn Hercules! Hell yeah!
Okay, what are you gonna be doing today? Well, I have many talents, but today I will be, um, doing a poem, my poem, and it's called The Truth. Okay, we got the battle of the poets tonight. All right, it's not a battle, it's not a battle, but all right. Um, the truth is not what you always want to hear. It may hurt, but don't you dare question it or bury it in the dirt, nor wear it on your shoulders that is covered with your shirt. The truth is something that should be given and spoken on the daily, but is not due to the humans that are afraid of it or the consequences that it may cause. Hell is scary, is really crazy, verbally lazy. They are the capability of healing and hurting someone. Now that's the truth. Nonfiction, looking for it all the time. Not fiction, that real shit. It's hard to find with this generation. They're so truthful with it. Now that last statement I just made is a diametric of what I'm saying, you know, like beforehand about that truth and shit. The world losing it, don't know what to do with it, looking like who's to choose or pick. I'm just looking for that real talk, that correctness, that truth. That factual, there's nothing less than it. That gospel, like nothing's better than this. I want that scoop with the side of exactness, the truth. Okay, all right, all right. So I am going to start with— what the heck, I'm gonna start with Sean first.
Oh, um, I definitely have to applaud you. You for your confidence.
Thank you, for real. Hold on, we can't hear— we can't hear him. Hold on for a second. What'd you say, Sean?
You can't hear me? You can't hear me now?
Yeah. And why my smoke detector going off up in here? Shit, can you, uh, take the smoke detector out? It keeps beeping. All right, go ahead.
Yes, so I have to say A for effort— well, E for effort, um, for coming up here again. I know it's not easy to do. I think if they're gonna do a spoken word, if you're going to do poems and whatnot, I do feel like you felt what you were saying. But when I hear poems like that, I need to hear like passion. Like contestant 1, there was definitely passion. Although I didn't necessarily care for the message, there was passion, you know, behind what she was saying. With you, I really didn't feel that, you know. I do feel like the words that you were saying, like, you know, you agree with the words, but you didn't feel the words for me. And reading poetry is about feeling, you know, making the person— forcing them to listen to those words even if they don't want to hear them. Them or not. So, um, it's definitely gonna be a no for me, but good try, great try.
All right, all right. So, uh, Derek, yeah, what does that tattoo say? I was just wondering. It says 'too deep.' I thought so. I—
listen, no, hey, because listen, I wanted the truth.
You want the truth?
The truth is, you hear me, uh, truth is I, I loved everything that you did. I think you made a great— a titty— I mean, attempt to That's a lot.
I thought that, uh, it damn sure was.
And so I thought that, uh, it was great. And I, I think I'm, I'm, I'm going towards no, not because of the lack of talent. I like the poem. I want to see you at a poetry spot. Like, I, I want to see you at a poetry spot. And really do your thing. So I'm gonna— I'm gonna say no, no, no, no. Probably shouldn't have done— no, no, no, no. You come back. And why would you want to wear at home? You at home, child. Be at home. Yeah, man. And so, yeah, yeah, yeah, just be home. And so I'm gonna say no, but it ain't because I don't think you dope, because I damn sure do.
Okay, okay. So why are you saying no? I know he made it sound so nice, but it's okay. I could take it. Just like Sean I get what you're saying because I don't want to say anxiety, but a little bit. So if I would have like wooed out and breathed and slowed it down, I feel like y'all would have been able to feel my story, feel that poem. And if it's no feeling, then there's no connection. So I get that, I get that, right?
Okay, I felt it, I felt it.
I don't know, I just feel in this chest. Where's the blanket at?
Let me see.
No, that ain't— that wasn't it. I mean, if I would— if it was that, I would have told told you yet, but I just, I just gotta say no right now. Thank you, Dope though.
Thank you. You are giving very much Sean tonight.
Little piece.
He is. Okay, um, don't put the shade on. All right, PQ, um, couple things. Um, well, really only one thing. Um, I wasn't very moved by the poem. I think it's dope, right, that you are a poet, but I just— it didn't move me, you know? Okay. Yeah, I just— I wanted to feel like, you know, yeah, like I said, in the timeline, came up here with that neck brace and she was arguing about her Social Security or disability check, that she would make me write it, you know what I'm saying? Like, I get this, like, to the front of the line. I just— I didn't feel it, you know? But I don't— I don't think that you're a bad poet, but I just did not feel it. Okay, okay, that's gonna be a no for me, but try to come back. Try to come back. Okay, yes ma'am, no problem. Thank you. Derek, what the hell was that?
Hey, did y'all know I could do poetry too? It's a poet in Houston named, uh, Seven the Poet. He's the dopest guy that I've ever seen, and I've learned his poems. This is called the Jesus Piece. My father sent me here through a virgin's womb. An intimate project of the master architect. By his hands I was personally groomed. On the night of my birth, three kings brought gifts to my home, and the brightest star in the sky is known as my birthstone. I was born to be great. Bright future, dark fate. I'm the light of the world. I'm loved, though the dark hearts of men harbor hate. And the church and state sent their soldiers to come get me, betrayed by the same people sitting at the table with me.
Do you have a whistle? Flag on the play. Yeah, that's good. Okay, foul.
I guess, uh, Derek is trying to audition as well, but next we have Mara.
You should mute.
Hi, hi Mara, how are you?
I'm good, how are you?
Fantastic. Mara, uh, what is your age?
I'm 24.
Okay, okay, okay, cool. Um, just no Shannon over here. And, um, where are you from?
I'm from New York, I'm actually Brooklyn.
Um, okay, so what you gonna be doing here today, girl?
Um, I'm gonna be singing. Um, yeah, I'm gonna sing, uh, Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. I was gonna sing What a Fool Believes, but I couldn't really decide, so you're, you're welcome to decide for me.
But I don't know either one of those songs, so you're all right. I'm gonna let you, let you surprise me. Okay, okay.
Sounds good.
All right, here we go.
Now here you go again, you say you want your freedom. Well, who am I to keep you down? It's only right that you should play the way you feel. Listen carefully to the sound of your loneliness like a heartbeat drives you mad in the stillness of remembering what you had, what you lost, and what you had. Oh, and what you lost. Oh, thunder only happens when it's raining. Players only love you when they're playing. Say women, they will come and they will go. When the rain washes you clean, you'll know, you'll know, oh, you'll know.
Okay, all right, all right, Miss Mara K. I see you got the K on the end like Tasha K. Okay, so we gonna start with Sean.
I was fully ready to drag her. Like immediately, just upon sight, I was ready. The insults were brewing.
Why wasn't you ready to drag Miss Mara Kay on site? She didn't do nothing to nobody. That was Gabby.
Nothing.
I mean, listen, I get it, I get it. It's okay.
I don't understand what is going on.
I was definitely ready, you know, but you pleasantly surprised me. I am pleasantly surprised by your voice. You can tell you have vocal lessons, that you learned the tone and the range, that you know where you should be, the register you should be in, what you shouldn't be, where you should go, where you probably shouldn't go. And then when you be creeping the places, you reel it back in because you know that that's probably just not you. So I like that, I really do. I was pleasantly surprised.
What is your answer?
Yes. Okay, all right, cool.
All right, Mara. Uh, Derek.
Hi, Mara.
Hi.
Hey, I think timing is everything. I believe that, uh, when it's your time, it's just your time. I think that, you know, uh, man, I'm, I'm really perplexed about you right now, Mara. Um, my uncle just got in trouble, and so Just perplexed, man. I'm, uh, man, uh, you know my Uncle Shay? You don't? You know? Well, Mar, listen, my Uncle Shay is, uh, he's in trouble right now. And, um, and I think you've got great range, but I think you're out of my range. But I think you are wonderful. I'm gonna, as respectfully and without sounding aggressive, I'm gonna say no. I'm gonna say no in such a low registry that it feels comfortable. Does it— is that okay that I said no?
Yeah, I mean, I'd love to know a little bit more though about like what you mean by timing. I think that's where I'm a little bit perplexed.
Um, I mean, I'm— damn it, Mara.
Yeah, abort, abort, abort.
Um, have you been following the news?
Um, with the, the Pope, or that's male news.
We talking about the, the news in like the celebrity world?
Oh, celebrity world news. Uh, yeah, I do follow celebrity news. Is there like anything specifically though that like—
It's okay. No, no, no, no, it's okay, it's okay. Listen, listen, Derek, we're not gonna do this right now today, okay? I do not have time. Mari, it's a yes for me.
Really?
Yes, it is.
Thank you, thank you.
You remind me of— is it Avril Lavigne? What's her name?
Um, there's Ariana Grande and there's, um, Avril Lavigne, but yeah.
You remind me of her. I like it. We'll see you at the end of the show. Okay, thank you, thank you. All right, no problem. What the fuck was that, Derek? Nervous?
Not in front of company.
I'm scared. Shit, it's a tough time out here for us right now, man.
You want me to see this? Your uncle had no business as a 60-year-old man letting a 19-year-old sit on his mother fuckin' lap.
All right, wow.
Okay, so playing Santa Claus.
Next up we had—
where did she go? She still back here?
Sharina. Sharina is up next.
I ain't ate nothing today. Shit. Hey, can you—
can y'all hear me?
And I can hear myself.
Yeah, I don't know what you eating on, but I hear that.
Jasmine, can you talk about what you want to do? I don't— is her— it's her. I think it's her microphone. Is your mic on?
It doesn't look like it.
Can y'all hear me, or you need to, uh—
I'mma bring you backstage.
We'll bring you back up, okay? Give us one second.
Hey Sean, I got a question for you.
I may have an answer.
If she was a shark, what kind would she be?
Which one?
A hammerhead, because—
wow.
I, I did, but—
oh, that's good. We were talking about head, are you with butt? You get it?
Yeah, but I want to bring up somebody else while I talk to her.
Yeah, I thought Mara was good, but I couldn't do it, not right now.
All right, TK, I'm gonna bring somebody else up while I go talk to her.
Please, please.
All right, so we're gonna do, uh, Dion Sanders.
Hi, Dion! Damn, I expected a girl. I did not expect a guy. Hi, Dion!
What's up, y'all?
How y'all doing?
Fantastic. Um, and so, uh, where are you from?
I'm from Brick City, um, Jersey. New Jersey.
All right, cool. All right, so what are you gonna be doing today? All right, I'm gonna do a little singing for y'all tonight.
So, um, I do have original music, but tonight I'm gonna do a cover song. And actually, Envy did my song that I was gonna do, so I'm gonna repurpose it, you know what I'm saying? Okay, cool.
All right, so, uh, what's the name of the song you're gonna be doing?
Um, And If I Ever Fall in Love.
Sure. Oh. All right, we got a lot of that. Go ahead.
All right, I'm ready.
And the very first time that I saw your brown eyes, your lips said hello and I said hi. I knew right then you were the one, but I was caught up in physical attraction, but until my satisfaction, baby, you are more than just a face. And if I ever fall in love again, I will be sure that the lady is afraid. And if I ever fall in love, so true, I will be sure that the lady's just like you. All right, D.I. Yeah, so we gonna, um, I'm gonna give it to Derek first.
Dion, uh, I'm gonna say no, Tasha. We got a guest coming over here. Dion, I thought you were good. It was a little strong for me. It's just a no, no, no real reason, but fight on, brother, fight on. Salute.
He's such a hater. I, I think you're in shape and he's not, and he's suffering from a complex right now. So yeah.
Um, I'm on live with them right now. You want some? I'll get— oh my bad, sorry about that.
We put the rest of the cocaine.
Tell Faison I say what's up. Hold on for a second, Dion. Give me a second. What is Faison doing at a hotel with another man?
Like, like, first No, we are, we are a good distance apart.
Listen, honey, like Bizzy, no, that y'all sharing a room now?
No, first of all, is he sitting in the chair? Why can we not see the chair?
Oh, somebody got—
oh, somebody got—
why we can't see the chair?
Why you can't see the chair, Biz?
Why do I see you and not the chair?
You can't see the chair, bitch.
Okay, at all. You better stop, ho. Okay, hold on one second. Um, why are y'all in the same hotel room? Like, Benzino and them, there's only one bed.
He's on tour with me. His room is down. He just got here. Mine is the top floor.
Now listen, they didn't give you a pool in your room?
No.
Um, Big Worm is in the building, y'all. Big Worm, can you give us a line out of that? You remember that, that part, Tasha?
That movie was 35 years ago. I think I was skinny.
I think you were. I think you were.
I think I was.
Okay, how you doing, Tasha?
How's your spirit?
Good, I'm good.
How about you?
Why you, why you running from an interview? I know, I know Shannon Sharp got everybody scared out here.
That nigga handed the phone back so fast.
Hey, hey, real quick, tell him to shout his show out for y'all, Faison, because we got a lot of winos in here, almost 3,000. Hey, how's it going?
Now we in Dallas this week. I'm— my tour is called Bitch Please. Um, yeah, and it's like, it's everything you think it is. And you know, Derek is one of the funniest things out there, for real.
Yes.
So he, he keep me on my toes, you know what I'm saying? And Dallas is one of them. Dallas is one of these ports. I call the cities I go to ports that just be be giving it up.
Okay.
Yeah, Dallas, always great shows here. Um, you know, if he come from Texarkana— do they know you're doing Texarkana? Yeah, but yeah, you know, this is this, bro. I'm glad you, uh— I don't know what y'all doing. He said— I asked him what, you know, what the, what the front looked like, because I, you know, I know you was cute. I'm like, oh damn, she cute or something. No, no, no, no, I'm the ugliest person in show business. But I was like, I was like, I didn't know there was—
but about my love. What you been drinking on, FaceTime?
I don't drink no more.
I don't drink. I don't do nothing no more. I'm bored.
You eat this thing?
Smoke cigars? That's a good one. You got that over here?
Uh, no.
Will you tell them where they can see y'all tomorrow, please?
At the Improv in Arlington. You better get the tickets because I think it's—
I think Kendrick Lamar in town too, so at the same time in Arlington.
Well, that nigga not like us.
Is he really here?
Oh, that's smart.
All right, so Winos, if y'all in Arlington close to Dallas, y'all want to see Faison and Derek, they are at the Improv.
Hold on, hold on, let's, let's get it, let's get it straight. Come on, get it straight.
It's Faison Love and you may see—
you see, your, your man ain't got drafted either.
I see it.
Okay, can you give Jerry back the phone please? He working, he on the phone.
This is like fun right here.
Yeah, she's like, niggas in boxes.
It's a talent show.
Oh, you're about to say hello? I didn't mean to stop you, brother. Many blessings. I want to see them nipples.
Oh my God.
Oh, that's it. Oh, that nigga cold. Okay, nigga.
Okay.
All right, all right. So who was we starting with? We were starting with who? Derek, you said no, right?
I said no.
He said no.
I said no.
They don't know what the fuck he talking about. Listen to me, sir. I'm gonna give you a challenge. Have you ever heard of, um, Hello Dolly, the musical? Yeah, there's a song that Pearl Bailey sung, saw, uh, Me and the Devil in the Deep Blue Sea. Okay, learn that song and flip— so you got to flip it up on these niggas because they, they're too regular. You were saying it's some R&B. If you say something like that they never heard, that's, that's basically a classic and fuck their head up. You ever heard of a— you know, my head is going, but you know, just, just, just flip it on their ass because they, they don't know.
Okay. All right. All right. I got you. I'm gonna check it out. No problem. No problem. All right. Pearl Bailey. Pearl Bailey. They will see you at the improv tomorrow. Could you please give my contract hire back the phone? Tasha? Yes?
Where's your man? You got a man?
I have a husband. Oh, no disrespect, I get your number from— Damn it. What is your answer for Dion?
He said no already.
No, hell no. Daryl said no.
The fuck he talking about?
Oh my God, he said no.
Sean, I do think that there's talent here, but I don't think that—
why you put on that voice?
I'm gonna have to say no, but I do think that you can sing. It's just the song choices, it didn't really showcase that. But, um, I do think that you do have talent, but I'm gonna say it's gonna be a no for me.
But I appreciate that.
Yeah, you can sing though.
Okay, thank you.
Okay, so I'm, I'm the last person obviously. So, um, I think you can sing, I just don't think you are a developed singer. I don't know if it was the extra breathy runs for me, it was giving me Latasha Scott that never succeeded outside of Escape. You know, but I do think you have the look. I think you have the talent, but I feel like you need some voice control. And so for now it's a no. However, you can come back to other episodes, and if you got a little bit more, maybe a better song that's not so breathy, you know, and so runny, then, um, we, we run you along and let you compete for the $300.
Should I get on that goddamn show?
No, I appreciate that. I just think, like, at the end of the day, it's just a little bit of. Just a little bit of nerves just getting up here in front of everybody. That's just what it is. It's just natural. It's just something that.
Can I ask you a question? Do you date Derek. Married women?
Do I date married women?
Yeah.
No.
You lying. Okay.
No, no, Absolutely.
Don't. Absolutely. Moving on, moving on. Thank you. He's lying. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, that's not for me. He just looked like a side nigga.
A what?
He do, child. You know what I'm talking about. Absolutely.
Boyfriend number 2 energy, very so much.
He look like a side nigga.
He does, Tasha. I'm also—
All right, let's try Sharina one more time.
Okay, Tasha, you giving up that thing just to certain looking niggas.
Oh God, what?
You was trying to date that nigga. I heard what you said. You said, hey, you date married men?
Abort, abort.
She said, do you date married women?
Who, the dude?
Say hi to Faison. I guess he's taking over Derek's spot.
Oh, hi, you—
hi, how you doing? Okay, are you a singer?
No, I'm a comedian.
Oh shit.
Oh, oh shit, that is first. Okay, all right, we got a comedian in here. And where are you from, Sharina?
So I'm from Philadelphia, but I live in Kansas City right now.
Okay, all right, shout out to Kansas City. A lot of Midwesterners in here tonight. All right, so, um, So go ahead, set up your— set up your camera. Let's go.
Okay, as long as y'all can hear me, right?
Yes.
Okay, great. So y'all already know my name is Sharina, but I don't want y'all to get it like messed up, so I'm gonna tell y'all my pronouns is day drinker, night drinker. You know, like any time of the day is like I'm ready to go, you know. Um, but for real, for that, like, I see y'all judging me. Y'all don't judge me. Like, I really am trying to stop drinking alcohol. I'm trying to stop, but it's like everywhere I go, everywhere I look, I see alcohol. Like in a supermarket, in the gas stations, it's in my water bottle. Like everywhere, everywhere I go, I see alcohol.
Okay.
And I know Derek was asking that crackhead if she been to rehab. Like, I really went to rehab, y'all. And y'all know when I got to rehab, like all the girls was like, you got any weed? You got any cigarettes? And I was like, yo, I just smoked like a pound of weed before I got here. Y'all can lick my pussy and pass it around, okay? Like, you want an edible? Do you want an edible? No, for real, like, this alcohol shit is— I mean, I almost was drunk waiting on this live, you know, but I'm— I think I got it together and everything. But, um, I actually went I went to AA. I hear the whistle.
You finally used the fucking whistle. I wonder why. Yes, let's start with Sean first, then we'll take it to the comedian. Go ahead.
Um, I definitely am going to say I applaud you for coming up here at all. Um, but the set— I'm sorry, it was just weak from beginning to end. I think a lot of your stuff just didn't really mesh and mesh with you. It seems like you're trying to be relatable to yourself, but it sounds like you're talking about someone else at the same time. So I'm— it's very confusing. But, um, I mean, I wouldn't quit. Keep trying. But it's a hard no for me. For me, it's gonna be a hard no.
Okay. All right. Uh, now you know you had Derrick King and Faze On Love listening to your comedy, right?
Yes.
I'm gonna tell you right now, I think you're headed in the right direction.
Where did you go?
Let me, let me tell you something. Sometimes, sometimes when you do—
but I'm listening to Derek.
Sometimes when you do comedy, you can— how do I say it— you can get a little ahead of yourself. And so, um, I, I think that you do have some—
go back and practice.
All right, so it's a no. So listen, just don't— next time, just don't get ahead of yourself, okay?
What do you mean get ahead of myself?
Well, baby, I don't know what that means.
I say go practice.
No, I don't know, like, like Can you explain that?
Like, what do you mean?
Now this is funny, Sharina. Now this is funny.
Yeah, right now it's hilarious.
That is funny.
What I mean, Sharina, you won't— you, you want me to explain to you what I mean?
Please, please, because what you said, like, it made sense. Well, all right, I just wanted to make sense of no understanding. Hitting myself?
What do you mean?
Because this nigga tripping.
So, so what I mean is when I say don't get ahead of yourself, what I'm saying is sometimes if it's in the back, bring it to the front.
And that's all.
Yeah, what is that?
What am I saying? Well, let me show you what I'm saying, Faison, and then you tell me if I'm wrong. You tell me if I'm wrong. I told— hold on, let me, let me, let me get the screen right. I told her she was a little ahead of herself.
Oh, nigga, you fucked up.
I don't know, I just—
Sharina, this nigga is talking about edges.
No, give me some comedy advice though, for real.
Like, he's trying to say appearances It's her appearances. I, I, I say work on them jokes.
But she pretty though. She said, she said she wants y'all to just be quiet.
You just be quiet.
This nigga said she's headed in the right direction. Nigga, nigga, stop it.
Like, give me some.
Okay, all right, all right, all right.
Before we let go, If y' all got jokes, like, make it funny. Like, I'm all for jokes, but, like, say.
All right, all right, all right. Okay, okay, okay. All right, all right. Derek, mute. Mute your mic. Get that nigga some liquor.
Yeah, because he ain't—
All right, all right, all jokes aside, all jokes aside, all jokes aside, okay? Um, from a, from a comedic perspective, and I have been in comedy training for 3 years, okay? Um, I didn't find you funny, and it's because there was no setup and there was no, there was no punchline. I didn't know where you were going. The stories were they just didn't make sense. And when, and when it comes to comedy, it's like you have to tell a story in a way where people can relate to that story, and then you take them in a different direction that they never knew it was going. It was like, oh my God, like, I, I can't explain it to you. It's kind of— Derek, can you do a, can you do a joke right now? Give us a little story.
A joke is different than a story.
So no, no, Sharina, listen, let me, let me tell you something. You got— I know it's only 30 seconds, but sometimes that's all you have to capture your audience. You got to get right to it.
Um, right, that makes sense, that makes sense. I, I can agree. I met y'all with this shit, you know what I'm saying? I mean, and I should have—
there were no cats. He's trying to give you some advice for real. But I think that, uh, he has written and worked with every big comedian that you follow out there. So, Derek, please drop some jewels. Serena, have you been drinking?
Yes.
Oh, yeah. I've been up here for, like, three hours.
Nigga, I told you, she keep getting ahead of herself.
That's the problem. Okay, let me. Derek, hold on.
I think.
True story. True story. I go to a comedy show in Atlanta. I pull up at a VIP table. TI Is headed to the stage. Before T.I. or any of the comedians head to the stage, they all roll blunts and all take 2, 3 shots. When they got on stage, nothing was funny. Nothing was funny. Alcohol and weed impairs your ability to connect with your audience. And I think some of the worst comedians are the ones that get high and get drunk before their set. Me, I get drunk while I'm on stage, and it's a gradual build. So I think maybe if you had came tonight sober, you would have been able to diligently work the room and tell your jokes as they were supposed to be told. But when you drunk, yes, it's sort of like you're having a good time, but nobody's having a good time with you if we don't understand exactly what you're saying. So Faze, unmute yourself, uh, Derek.
Um, first of all, you guys are young. A lot of comedians use substance. Well, I'm telling you, I've been doing this for 40 years. Um, Sam Kinison— I mean, this goes— Richard Pryor, coke, heroin. It's not really that, um, the enhancing. That doesn't make you funny. That just takes the edge off a lot a lot of comedians get really nervous before. Um, just like, um, Jimi Hendrix would get really nervous. That's why he did, um, but he still had the natural talent. But I was saying to you, if you really want to do this, you have to put the work in. This is not going to end or kill you. No performance is going to end or kill you. You really have to put the work in if you're going to be really serious about it. That becomes before um, the jokes. It's just the work, if that makes sense. Does that make sense? I'm being serious with you.
Yeah, no, I'm thinking— thank you so much.
The end.
That, that makes sense.
You have to put the work in. No, if you went out tomorrow and got a standing ovation, it wouldn't mean shit. It's a drop in the pan. You have to develop what they call Be consistent. So you get a standing ovation this night, you got to get one every night this week, or at least 5 times. Work your art. You have to go to open— what if I told you?
What if I told you?
Yes, yes, she does. No, I said where did she go? She— oh, thank God. All right, good. Listen, I know—
I don't know, I've been— can y'all hear me?
Yeah, we can hear you, but the answer, the answer is no. And so Sharina, come back on another episode. Jasmine, drop her down. We got some more people waiting, and we're gonna, we're gonna try to end this at the 2-hour mark. Okay. All right. Um, Faison, I'm gonna argue with you.
What you gonna argue with me?
Because there's a difference between getting fucked up before your show.
Listen to me, Latasha. I know you're very successful at what you do. But before you thought about putting up this mic, I was doing shows with fucking great comedians who were fucked up. But it was just to get the edge off before you go out on stage for 30,000, 20,000 people, just to get the edge off to be— because they'd be so nervous. They get that edge off and then they're— it's like they focus on whatever they focus on. I never was one of those guys. I would— I take a hit of of, uh, tequila and it goes— it just loosens up my tongue.
That's it. That's all you need.
But that's all I need.
But some people smoke weed all day, just like Snoop Dogg smokes weed all day. He's trying to get the edge off of, uh, going on stage. Some people get, uh, performing butterflies, so they're like, uh, it's like, you know, you got to perform in front 70 people, 70,000 people, it's not a walk in the park.
I got that, but at the same time, as a professional in the business, you know, you only got 30 seconds to capture. You only got 30 seconds to capture. There's a lot of competition out here.
No, no, no, you're talking about on here.
She has to just—
No, I'm talking about even when she's working clubs.
No, you don't have 30 seconds.
You got 30 seconds to make somebody laugh. If not, yeah, you could turn a room around.
But listen to me, we're gonna break all the nigga traditions off. There's brilliant comedians, brilliant comedians who don't do the monkey shit, who use their mind and their words to entertain people. You don't have— you have to build who you are. You're selling your— who you are to the crowd, my love.
Okay. All right, cool. Well, listen, you do got more years than me, but we do got to move on. Derek? Yes. So, all right, so we're moving on.
Um, all right, up next we have Jamal.
Okay, Jamal, come on, Jamal. Where you from?
Hey, how y'all doing?
Good. Young Melo. Okay, so you one of the young guys. Where you from? I'm from Manchester, Georgia. It's like 30 minutes, 30 minutes away from Columbus, Georgia, actually. Okay, I'm familiar with Manchester and Columbus. I used to live out there. I think it was, uh, I forgot the name of the— the army base. Okay. Yeah. All right, so what you gonna be doing tonight?
I'm gonna be doing a little rapping. I'm gonna rap one of my songs.
That I actually wrote. Okay.
And yeah, I have not yet dropped it yet, but I'm releasing the album also later this year as well.
Okay. All right, cool. So go ahead, the floor is yours. 30 seconds.
Okay.
I wrote a song for 3 hours, I was in my feelings. Flip the page, race itself, it's finna get more deeper. My therapist can't help my hurt, no doctor can help. Misunderstood but claim you get it, that's a damn lie. Wrote my hands so in the towel, giving all I got, fell hard, took whatever. Got my—
oh, can I start over? Sure, go ahead.
Okay, I got you.
I wrote a song for 3 hours, I was in my feelings.
That's okay, it's okay. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Last try, let's go.
Took a break, up and left and went ghost. Now I'm in the room like, how you mad? I need some peace. When I was feeling low, might say I'm crazy, I'm sad, but they don't really know. Misunderstood, it's all good. They don't hear my low, ain't seen my bed. Missing home another month, I've been moving on. Can't catch a break on the go, I've been out to get it. Roswell, Michigan, had a time there. Representing the cup, cool vibes still. Hey yo, Mo, how you been? I've been good, I've been out the way. Interstate and speed lights, I see day to day. So when I say my mind gone and it's on the road, I didn't bluff, I didn't lie, I kept moving on. I spoke to Pops on the phone, he gave me game, man, they helped me out. Misty Peasy and LaDucey, why they exit out? Dream team undefeated, couldn't take us out. We beat the game, man, took over, played our hearts out. That's it.
Okay, all right, cool. All right, all right, we'll start with Sean. Sean.
I think that you are a burst of energy, for sure, but I wouldn't drop an album just yet. I would definitely go back to the drawing board and continue what you have because you do have something going here. Can't quite put my finger on it, but you can— you definitely can tell that you are passionate about what you do. So if you're passionate with a little bit of talent, it's enough to, you know, broaden it and make it bigger. So I would say definitely definitely keep going. Like, I wouldn't tell you to stop, but I wouldn't drop right now. Like, I would definitely, you know, go, go back to the, to the board. But it's a no for me. And again, getting on stage, you, you're a little young. I don't know with the stage fright and stuff like that, because it can be a lot getting out there. You know, it's different doing— this is still a lot of pressure. Like, this is a lot. But when you actually are like a live audience, because I do this every day and this, this is nothing. When I got on stage with Tasha, whole nother world when I got out there. Like, the jitters, everything come over you. So you really got to be ready. So back to the drawing board, perform a little bit more, but it's a no for me right now. I would say come back though, definitely come back.
All right, appreciate it, appreciate it. All right, Derek.
All right, pull up to some open mics. Uh, Young Melo, is that what it is? Young Melo?
Young Marlo.
Young Marlo, sorry about that. Young Marlo. Uh, pull up to some open mics. I think, um, your pain is gonna end up being your, uh, purpose. I think that's what you're trying to turn it into. You've been through some shit, and so now you wanna, uh— it's— this seems therapeutic to you. It seems like you— this is your way to get all of that out. Well, I'm not gonna tell you not to get it out because I think you should. I think you appreciate it. Um, yeah, like, like Sean was saying, yo, the passion— we see the passion. But if we talking about performance, Man, go work on it. Work on the performing part of it. Work on, you know, uh, get the nerves out the way. Uh, it's only a no just because I don't think you're ready. But man, I know you got something in you. Uh, turn into DMX, you know, growling the fuck, man.
I appreciate it. I did. So was it a yes or a no?
I said no.
Okay, all right, cool. Um, I, uh, disagree with, uh, Derek and Sean, um, and here's why. Because, um, I didn't hear anything that was different, you know. And I know a lot of rappers go through pain. And if I could just leave you with anything, um, I don't know if you've been following, uh, if you're familiar with T.I.'s son, Domani. Is that his name? Yes, ma'am. When you came on screen and when you said you was gonna rap, that's what I thought I was gonna get, was something a little bit more on the poetic lines. That's more loving, but, you know, but uplifting. I just— for me, I don't get that. You don't look like a kid that's been through a lot. You look like you live in the suburbs. Like, I could look at the walls and tell you ain't got no roaches or nothing like that. Ain't no shootouts outside, you know what I'm saying? I know you probably had some daddy issues and everything like that, but I don't get it. You really been through a lot. Okay. Yeah, I'm just saying, you from Manchester, Georgia, you know, that's a small town. Down, you know. I think, you know, if you kind of took— like, you got a lot of passion, you obviously got a lot of things you could talk about, things you've been through, you got that Southern— but if you, you gave it just a little bit of Damani or J. Cole, man, I'm telling you, I think you would— you see what I'm saying?
Yeah, man, I feel you, I feel you.
Okay, so it's gonna be a no for me now. Okay. And so, you know, I want you to come back whenever you, you are writing something. But listen to those guys. Those guys, you know, they, you know, we ain't got to do all that extra shit, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, man. All right, cool. All right, no problem. Thank you so much. All right, we're gonna let a couple more people go since Faison took up a lot of our damn time and them people was waiting backstage. Y'all okay, host? He can't hear you. You talking shit. I don't give a shit. I'mma come heckle his fucking show. Listen, are we, um, uh, what was that, that feedback? Okay, cool. Sean, you got, you got like 30 more minutes for me. Oh, oh Lord Jesus. Oh my God, I don't owe you no fucking money.
I think you like me.
You something on the special, so I wish my husband would get in the camera and just shut you down one time, but I'm unfortunately you're bigger than him and all you'll do is sit on him and crush my little husband. So I'm trying to keep the peace around.
Was that a fat joke?
I think so. She did, she did, uh, she said my husband was skinny.
I would sit on him like— not that I can go from the shoulders. They got film of me going from the shoulders, uh, from the shoulders. Ask that nigga to cover him. Ask several of vigorous, but I'm not like that anymore. Oh, as I— the age, it's the age. And it's like, you know, uh, it's, you know, it's come to a certain time in life.
Sure, when he was a young Warthog story.
Listen, Terrence Trent Darby, we got Jasmine.
Who's next? Who's next? Okay, next we have Abby.
Abby, Derek clocking back in.
All right, Abby, Abby, how you doing, Abby?
Hey, I'm doing good, how are you?
I am good, Abby, how are you? Where are you from?
Um, I'm from West Memphis, Arkansas, so just outside the city.
Okay, okay, cool. I know there's two because Memphis sits in Arkansas and it sits into Tennessee, so you on that side. Okay, they shooting over there? Uh, well, there's shootings everywhere, right? Yeah, but I'm saying, are they shooting over there like they shoot in Memphis, Tennessee? Um, yeah, yeah. Oh, okay, okay, cool. So what are you going to be doing tonight? Are they— you're talking about are there shootings, or— yeah, like, pow pow shootings? Yeah, like, like machine guns.
Oh yeah, um, oh well, I mean, there's crime all the time. There's definitely— you read about shootings in schools every day. Um, so yeah, it happens. But Abby, is that a Bugle Boy shirt? I've stayed out of it.
Abby, uh, it's okay. Sure, I had a question.
Is that a Bugle Boy shirt? Okay.
Um, I got this off of Cider. Um, it's just a clothing brand that I came across.
Um, yeah, the Cider app.
So yeah, my daughter wears Cider, so yeah. Okay, cool. All right, so what are you gonna be doing tonight? Um, well, I'm singing. Um, I wanted to sing a song by Corinne Bailey Rae.
I really like her songs. Okay. Um, so yeah, I hope I'll do it justice.
Um, it's, um, it's gonna be the first half of Till It Happens to you.
Okay, cool. All right, go ahead. All right. I know what I said was heat of the moment. There's a little truth in between the words we spoken.
It's a little late now to fix a heart heart that's broken.
Please don't ask me where I'm going, 'cause I don't know. No, I don't know anymore. It used to feel like heaven. Make it stop. Used to feel like All right, Abby. All right, Abby. Okay, because you only get 30 seconds. Sure enough. And, uh, yeah, no problem, Sean. We have to be on our best behavior. Okay, um, I'm gonna start with Derek first. Hi, uh, Abby.
Hey. Hey. Um, when I hear you sing, I automatically think stage plays. I think the stage play Oklahoma!, you know, I'm hearing Annie. Um, and then you make me want some Wendy's, you know, you make me feel like Dave Thomas's daughter. That's what you give me, you know what I'm saying? And so, uh, Abby, while I think— I don't think this was the best song for you to do tonight Mm-hmm. But I think you should audition for some plays and find that lane for you. For what we looking for, I don't think it's— it's, it's a no for me, but it's only because I, man, I see you doing stage plays. This a lane for you. This ain't the lane, but it's a lane for you. I want you to get your ass over there and take off full blast. You got something. Okay, but it's on them stage plays. So is it a yes or a no?
Yes or no? Okay, okay. All right, I appreciate you.
All right, Sean, um, the performance was as dreadful as your shirt choice. Um, again, I think that an A for effort, E for an effort. I really appreciate, you know, you coming up here, but that was painful. Um, again, maybe if you would have gave us a little like Gaga or something like that, added some energy behind the vocals and whatnot. It was very sad. I didn't know exactly what you were singing. But I just wanted you to stop immediately. I, I just didn't want any more of it. But there may be an argument, you know, an audience out there for you. You never know. But it's definitely going to be an utter no for me.
Um, but okay, well, I appreciate you listening anyway. Yes, no problem. Why?
Thanks for coming.
I told y'all we had to be on our best behavior, okay? We are under attack. Listen to me. Um, hurt people hurt people. Mute yourself, Derek.
I, I had it muted then.
Let me mute it back. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Uh, Miss Abby, um, thank you so much. Have you, have you done theater before and stage?
Oh, um, yeah, I mean, I've done karaoke and then I've done just a couple of small, um, little, uh, sing-songs at restaurants and stuff.
No, we're talking about like, not a whole lot of experience, like going— no, like plays, like going to NYU and getting a theater degree and doing like, you know, where you're actually singing in plays.
Yeah, no, I mean, I haven't done— I haven't done much theater. Actually, my twin sister got into that realm. Um, there's another one of you? Yeah, yeah, we're fraternal, but yeah.
Okay, um, it's my turn, Sean. Um, and so I think you have a, a very film look. I think you have a Broadway look, and I think you should go towards Broadway. Um, and so, um, my, my answer tonight is going to be no. Okay. Okay.
Well, hey, I appreciate y'all's time listening to me, and I've been enjoying the show.
So thank you, Abby. Thank you. All right, gang, no. Gangnam. Her last name was Gangnam. I wonder if her husband Asian. Gangnam Style. Gotham.
You know, I don't know. I don't— I didn't see that, and I'm not seeing marriage either.
What did you see? Cats.
A bunch of fucking cats. You can't see the motherfucker. I'm surprised one didn't fall on her goddamn neck.
All right, y'all, up next, uh, we have Brandy. Brandy, you're up next.
Hi, Brandy. Um, I think you said cat sub tribe. Hi, Brandy, how you doing? Good, how are you? Fantastic. Where you from?
I'm born and raised from Chicago.
Okay, shout out to Shatta. Derek, she will shoot you, she will cut you.
Hey, no, when I heard Brandy, all I mean, all I— in her look, it gives sitting up in my room, back is full of—
that's what it's giving.
She didn't say none of that, Derek.
Okay, all right, so what are you, what are you gonna be doing today?
I'm gonna do a poem.
Okay, we got a lot of poets tonight. Okay, go ahead, go ahead, girl, go. With you.
And I'm a little nervous. I get nervous on—
it's okay, it's okay.
Okay, all right. And so the name of this poem is called Not One Day, Not Someday, But Today.
Okay, center your camera a little bit because like you're kind of off. Yeah, there you go. All right, go ahead.
I actually wrote it because it was the way I felt in my marriage, but it's related to Black history, so that's the twist in All right, one day we will be free. Thank you. One day we will be free. God already loves me for me, so don't judge me by the color of my skin, but judge me for who I am within. It's a whole lot of us, you may need a fan, do you understand what I'm saying? Jehovah God is the man, Dr. King took a stand, Rosa Parks showed we all can. Yes. Slavery was wrong, but look at how it made us strong. Now all Blacks can roam. So what's the point of Black history? It's no discovery. It's no mystery. See, chasing that gold made them cold. They didn't care what Jesus told. Now they want to discuss, wondering why it's a fuss. They didn't have to. It wasn't a must to have so much luck. Thinking that we were crushed and turned into slush, they abused us, tearing us until we were tore. Some didn't know what for, keeping us poor, not caring if our backs were sore. Working us until we could not take no more. We dipped and we died together like bees in a beehive. Thank God we survived into the year 1865 and also today. Thank you.
All right, all right, Sean, we'll start with you. I actually liked it.
I enjoyed the poem. I think that it was sweet, the sentiment that you had behind it. Like, you said it was about your marriage, but it sounds like you involved a lot of different communities, you know, and whatnot, and made it like a fight against— many fights in one battle, but the same point was just freedom. So I think that it was cool. I really liked the poem. I thought that you put a lot of thought towards the poem. And with that being said, I'm gonna have to say no, but it was That was a wonderful poem. I really enjoyed it.
You never tell why you say no though. Why no?
Honestly, I get that you get nervous doing these things, but if again, when it comes to poetry, you have to be really passionate. Again, the first contestant that came into the poetry tonight, I wasn't like behind the message, but the passion was there. Like she commanded my attention. She forced asked me to listen to her whether I wanted to listen to it or not, whether I agree with what she was saying or not. I didn't get that here, you know. I really—
well, I'm better live than I am on camera. I— camera is something about the camera, and the guy from Friday, or whoever he is, he really hit me on it.
There's a lot of pressure. I know there's a lot of pressure in here tonight, and he come with a lot of pressure too.
No, I'm not afraid because I perform all over Rockford, so I'm not afraid. It's— I'm more better in person than I am. I got you, I got you.
Uh, Derek, Hey, listen, baby girl, uh, I also get nervous, and when I get nervous, I like to poot. I think pooting helps you with nervousness, okay? If you don't want to be asked, pass that gas, you hear me? So now that's just my thought. And I also— see, I'm a— I love poetry, child. I love— can I— I love poetry. And listen, and I think, uh, I don't know, man. I was listening to you, but I swear I was so distracted. I kept— I don't know, man. I just kept feeling like if you, if you pulled that hat off, the hair was going with it. I don't know why.
Yes or no? Well, I'm gonna say yes.
First of all, I raised two children by myself, so my son is home from the Navy. My daughter graduate high school next month, so I do shaking. So this is a wig, and I'm not ashamed And don't be—
and don't be— hell, I like when a woman have all her wigs sitting on the dresser, girl.
I like that type of stuff. Right on, just for this. He like a barefoot pregnant with nappy hair. He sure does.
My wig hours is up. My wig hours for today is up. You lucky you caught me with one on. Go ahead.
Yeah, yeah. No, no, no, I like the depth of what you're doing, but I do want more passion. I want— like, I, I heard it about the husband And then after it was the husband, it went somewhere else. I didn't catch it on the marriage again, so I'm gonna say no. But I think you got some— just, man, weave it a little better, that's all.
Okay. All right, cool.
So that's two nos. The poem was written with that in mind, but I had to write it for a Black History thing at Olive Harvey College, so it was like I had no—
you cool.
You know what I mean?
Okay, okay. All right, cool.
All right, so, um, Brandy, I love the passion, it just wasn't enough for me, you know. And, um, you know, when I think poetry, I think Born to Speak. I don't know if you heard her at the beginning of the show, but she was fire. Like, she was like— I could see Maya Angelou's spirit all up in her, and every, you know, poet that came before her, you know what I'm saying. Um, It just wasn't— it wasn't there. But I see where you're going with it, and I want you to keep trying. I don't want you to give up on it. Um, and, um, Derek, it's not gas, it's called a FUPA.
No, no, no, no, no, no, I didn't say she had one. I just said when I get nervous, I pass gas. That baby just need to pass some gas. Just, just fart, baby.
It's kind of like the same thing with a comedian. Every poet is different. I never compete with another, with another poet. All I do is be a better me, you know what I'm saying? I've been in business for 9 years and I got 2 businesses. I don't compete with nobody, nothing. I love it, baby.
Okay, well, Brandy, will we see you back? Thank you.
Oh, they don't like it when we be telling this. Hey man, let me tell you something. I can't help it if I felt like that damn— when— listen, you can't tell me when you think that hat was coming off, that wig was coming with it.
Up next we have Valerie.
Hey Valerie, how you doing?
Valerie, hello. Hey, hi, how are you? I'm fine. Okay, where are you from? Being in City, Alabama. Where? Phoenix City, Alabama. Oh, shout out y'all out there with Troy University at and everything. Yeah, okay, I'm familiar with Phoenix City on the coast of Columbus, Georgia. Okay, um, what are you going to be doing tonight? I'm going to sing tonight, I'mma Escape. Okay, that's a, that's a hard song, so let's hear it. Come a little bit closer and look into my eyes, if only for a moment. Boy, don't be surprised, I want you right Two cats fighting in the hallway.
Why did you blow your whistle, man? Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something, Latasha. Let me tell you, let me tell you, let me tell you why I blew the whistle. This is a true story. There was one time, man, I was riding past a car accident on the highway and them people look like they needed to be saved. I wanted to save Valerie. I did not want you to die like that. You was in this shit, die. Valerie, hey Valerie. And I'm gonna tell you what got me, it was that shit humming at the beginning.
I was looking around going, man, what the fuck is that?
Hey, back down!
You and the motherfucker, you know how they be.
I swear to God, I thought a nigga was over there with a gun to your head and you was like—
So, Valerie, yes or no for you, Darryl?
Oh, it's damn sure a yes to the no.
Sean? Oh, Valerie. Valerie. Valerie.
Well, um, first of all, don't ever sing that song again if you're not gonna do that when Candy said, I want you right next to me. You didn't do that. You got— you gotta hit the— you have to hit that part, right?
Yes. Like, other than that, it was the beginning.
They were a little bad, but overall it wasn't terrible. Like, I mean, yeah, it wasn't the worst thing I've ever— okay, it wasn't— it wasn't that bad. But I'm going to have to say no though. But it was a cute try, very so much cute try.
Okay, um, Miss Valerie, how you doing? Um, who— when did you start singing? Yesterday. I'm gonna mute my phone. I'm sorry, I swear to God, I swear to God, FaceTime finna make me take a flight out to fucking Dallas on you. Mute the phone. Miss Valerie, um, what else do you do? Do you teach? No, I don't. You look like a teacher. That's why I didn't think so. You look like a teacher because you— the way you speak too, and you carry yourself. I could see you, you know. What do you do? You don't have to say that, it's okay, that's too personal. Um, the answer is, um, no for me. Um, yeah.
Okay, let me say, she is my favorite guest tonight. Her spirit is wonderful. It is very— you can handle all this shit. I like— I fools with you, Val.
I promise you, I thought you was a school teacher, and there's nothing wrong with that. It was just the way you speak, the way you carry yourself, and how just peaceful you are. It look like a kid could just be over there trashing the whole classroom, but you'll just be like, sit down, Cory. Yeah, Cory, sit down. I'mma call your mother. I saw— go see. Okay.
And money been—
and I was like, get up here and try. So, all right, try it. All right, thank you so much, Miss Valerie. I I appreciate you. Yeah, all right, please don't quit today, John.
I'm gonna mute it again. I ain't know he was gonna do that.
This nigga crazy, man.
Okay, all right, up next we have Legalize Kane.
Legalize Kane. Okay, we can't hear you, Legalize Kane.
All right, I'm off, uh, mute. My bad. How y'all doing? It's okay.
Where you from?
I'm from Chicago.
All right, shout out to Chi-Town. What you gonna be doing tonight?
Uh, I'm performing. I hate to say I'm a rapper. I'm a rapper though, but I'm sorry. I hate to say you're a rapper because I'm a songwriter. I'm more than just rap, but I'm gonna rap tonight.
Okay. All right, cool. I'm sorry.
Uh, this song is called Trauma and streaming on all platforms. If y'all like what I do, y'all Follow me on Instagram, any website. It's Legal Ass Kane everywhere. I'm not here to push dope, I am dope. So we witnessed the struggle when it's the dealers, when it's the shooters, when it's the killers, when it's our daddies in prisons and mamas at work, and the teachers ain't care about our feelings. When it's the police is killing our cousin, watching the body drift off in the hearse. When it's the hunger, the fridge look empty to eat a good meal, gotta wait to the first. I don't see shame How to show pain. Got a new aim and I hope that it works. But memories with Tyrus and Paris and Larry ain't friend. No sleep got me going berserk. 23 and 1 in the box. No clock to watch on the clock. I keep thinking about church and seeing your kids going through this. When I jump off the bridge, they don't know that it hurt. I put my heart in my raps. Every bar that I spit puts them out. They ain't seeing my worth. Praying to God my life full of art. They spinning around and I think that I'm cursed. Truth ain't always facts. Watch how you react. True knowledge, you gotta go search. Walking them blocks at night with glocks and knives. No movie. It feel like the first. Son, don't share with murder, man. Smoking a blunt and you fighting the urge. A dangerous game. Just stay in your lane. Follow your path. Try not to merge, cause niggas will crash like hopping the curb. And you could dash. They give them the words. You want to get out, but it's sounding absurd. Going insane. You've been on the verge. These niggas don't know that I'm traumatized. Daddy, dad, and my mama cried on her way to a 9 to 5. Hey, she's trying to mourn and still survive. Hey, that's why the flame in my ass. Drink Henny to swallow my pride. Which Solomon My brothers are right, but not on the passenger side. A lot of my niggas are lost.
So a lot of my— okay, all right, all right, all right, all right.
I only stopped you. I'm sorry, T. I only stopped you. Uh, Kane, let me tell you something, nigga. It's a yes for me. I'm going straight in with my yes. Hey, man, the originality, the passion— you, you gave, I think, everything that we've been telling people we looking for. So hell yeah, nigga, you was jamming your ass. Hey, I was listening to all the words. Me and Face— Face on over here jamming this nigga like, yo, that nigga hard. Yo, no, dog, you, you good. I like you. So fuck yeah, for me.
Yeah, I like how you change your voice, Derek, to be all hardcore. And then you, right, you know, you put on your white corporate voice when Abby comes on. He starts talking about cats.
I'm nervous around white women right now. Hey, this a brother I feel so comfortable with, my own kind.
Uh, Sean, it's giving all of your friends are dead. Um, with those bars, you ripping a lot of people. RIP to all of those people that's gone. You from Chicago, I know y'all only have a few days to live down there, so, um, yeah. So it's an absolute yes from me. Let's make him pop before it's too late, y'all. Yeah, go put me on the t-shirt tomorrow. Let's make this happen.
So it is a yes for me, absolutely. It really don't matter what I think. I will be honest with you, uh, so you got 2 yeses.
Um, it was a little too dark for me, but we had 30 seconds, so I was trying to find the right thing that I could show in 30 seconds.
Like, as a female though, like, I'm gonna be honest with you, like, I like rappers that sing to females. I like Twista.
If you would allow me, for you, could I do a female track?
And when you come back, because you're gonna come back and perform at the end. Yes, sir. I mean, yes, ma'am. Okay, because you, you know, this is, this is a big female audience. You know, it's a lot of males in here too, but like, the women, we the ones that be at the concerts. You see Usher with the cherries and stuff. That's what we want to wrap out there, giving us cherries, you know.
I got the ladies for sure. I just had 30 seconds, so I just want to—
I don't want to hear about RoRo and, you know, Unc Unc and all them getting shot up. I don't— that's crazy. One of my big brothers is named RoRo. That's funny. I'm just saying, like, you got that Twista swag, and Twista rapped about, you know, unwrapping our bodies and shit. We love that shit, like, especially with him being from Chicago too. So, like, give me some of that when you come back.
I appreciate I'm sorry, uh, he wanted to say something to Legalize Kane.
You dope, nigga. I appreciate you, brother. You dope, nigga.
Who put you in the studio right now? I do everything myself, uh, my own clothing line. I work very hard. I got felonies, so I got to work 33 million times as hard as everybody else is trying to get their life right. So I've been taking care of my family, just focused on that though. But I work with a lot of people in the industry, so salute to them though. They just liars, right?
No, you dope, nigga, for real.
All right, so you got 4 yeses. So you gotta come back at the end and perform, and the winos are gonna choose who's gonna win and who's gonna go on to compete to go on tour with me. Okay? Okay. All right, cool. Jasmine, how many more people we gotta run through before, uh, we get to the final round?
I'm glad you asked. I was just about to tell you I was going to do 4 more, and, um, completely up to you. We do have about 5 people from last week that came. Is there anyone in particular that you may want to hear from to give a second chance? Who? Run their name. Uh, Destiny. Uh-huh. She was the one who had the remote in her hand, and you said you like remotes, Derek. Okay. Um, we have Holly. The Rapping Mother, and we have Quinn Kelly, the Clean Comedian. And Latasha from last week, I don't really remember her, but I remember her face.
I don't remember what she did. I want the Clean Comedian. The Clean Comedian. Thank you. All right, what about you, Sean? Change clothes?
No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, I'm all for it. She changed clothes.
Okay, give us the clean comedian. Okay, okay.
So up next we have— what do we have next? Uh, Deja Vibes.
All right, Deja Vibes, where you from, Deja? Hey, Deja! Hey, Latasha! Hey, Sean! Hey, Derek! Hi! Where you from? What up, D? I'm from Ohio. Okay, and what you gonna be, uh, doing tonight? I'm gonna be doing a poem for you all. Okay, we got a lot of poets in here tonight. Okay, all right, so let's go. All right, this piece is called Just to Be. Okay, just— oh, and it is about 3 minutes long, but I compacted it so I could fit it in. You got 30 seconds. All right, come on. Just to be, to live, to exist, to have reality. It seems a lot of us have forgotten exactly how to just be in all of its totality. We sleep to achieve an American dream, believe in all of its fallacies, but all that glitters ain't gold. Yes, we have been bought and sold, but to awaken, we find it challenging. So we partake of the placebos of this displaced. Please check the box next to the appropriate race. Sign your name on the dotted line. Another soul displaced. And when you find you get declined, try not to show your disgrace. Okay. All right. Um, I think— okay. All right, cool. Uh, I mean, there's another— you good. Like, it gave us enough. It gave us enough. Um, and I'm glad somebody said in the comments Spoken word ain't dead. It's not. I love that. Okay, spoken word has freed a lot of our people. Derek, you— well, I—
it has freed a lot of our people. And Deja, I think you're beautiful, but I'd like to free you from this competition. It's just a no from me. I love you though. I think you're wonderful. You beautiful. It's just a no from me, that's all. But, but keep going.
Sean, Sean, Sean, Sean. Sean.
Sean, beautiful enunciation, but hated it. I really don't remember anything that came out of your mouth at all. Okay, you're pretty, so that's what kept me looking at you because you're a beautiful woman. But other than that, I was bored out of my mind for 30 seconds. But, um, I would definitely say keep writing if you're writing, but I don't know if the performing's for you because I feel like you do have to be passionate, really passionate about spoken word, and there's multiple passions Passions for performing, and there's also a passion for writing. So it definitely is giving like you're more of a passionate writer than you are a performer. So, but it's definitely a no for me, but thank you for—
so it's my turn. I, uh, feel like you should be a songwriter. Wow. I don't know if you've ever done that before, but I— that's kind of where I see your lane. That's what I heard. It didn't really give me, you know, like that. That Born to Speak just set the bar high with the poetry tonight, the spoken word. And for me, I just kind of get songwriter. Like, you would be an excellent songwriter to somebody.
I'm going to tell you something. There's a rap artist named Tobian Wigway. Deja, I want you to hear what she just said to you, because see, this means something. Tobian Wigway is one of the most sought-after rappers writers right now. He used to be in the comedy clubs with us doing poetry. I never knew that boy was gonna write no music. He's dope on his own right now because he switched over to writing music. She might be giving you the best damn advice you could ever get. You just gotta receive it, right?
Right. And I get that. Thank you.
Thank you.
They need it, Deja. They need it. They struggling out here. Our whole Afrobeat is taking over over, and which is— that's our community. But I'm just saying, as far as Black Americans, you know, we ain't got it. But, um, it's gonna be a no for me. All right, but hopefully I'll hear you and, and, and see you writing for somebody like, you know, K. Michelle or Tamar Braxton. Okay, thank you all. No problem. Who's next? Who we got up next?
We have Sativa. Yeah, gotta be.
Hey, hey y'all, how are you? I'm good, how y'all doing? Fantastic. Uh, what you got me— where you from? Um, from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Okay, I'm so glad I missed you. Your Wi-Fi— it's okay, baby, with your Wi-Fi a little slow, we could barely kind of— are you connected to your— it's a lot going on. I'm sorry, you— should I go out, come back? Yeah, go out. Sorry, come back in. We'll let somebody else go and then we'll bring you back up, okay? While you fix your Wi-Fi, who's next? Jasmine. I'm sorry, I missed it.
I was in the green room. Um, Um, let's do Queen Gotti.
Queen. Okay, got you. Hey, Queen Gotti, how you doing? I'm good, how you doing? Fantastic. And where you from? I'm calling from Florida. Okay, shout out to Florida. What part of Florida are you from now? Because you know, where y'all President Trump is at. Oh, okay. All right, cool, cool. So what you gonna be doing tonight? Um, nothing, just being me.
Just wanted to give a shout out to everybody. Yes, I wanted to come on and introduce myself as Queen Gotti. I want to let everybody know that I am a person that I know how y'all feel when you get up here and it's kind of hard to—
Miss Queen, we've been here 2 hours and 6 minutes. I know that. We don't have time, baby. I love you. Okay, I'm gonna move on to the next person. Okay, I love you You. Okay, Jasmine, give us one more person. Come on. What the heck?
Up next we have Don Julio.
Okay, Don Julio. Come on, Don Julio, let's go, let's go. How's it going? Good. Where you calling from?
Um, Rockland County in New York.
Okay, what you gonna be doing?
I'm gonna be rapping. Uh, I go by the name of Don Julio, which stands for don't overlook nothing, just understand life is Opportunities.
Okay, gotcha. Go ahead.
All right, you can hear the beat.
Is it a— is it a copyrighted beat or original?
Uh, I think it is a copyright.
Okay, all right, I'll just—
I'll do it.
They'll stop the live with the copyright, so go ahead.
I was like, why when I look at them they don't look at me? Maybe because they shook of me, or finally realizing that I'm someone that they couldn't be one in a million. They look at me and see I'm something that's brilliant. Reach the top and no one top of me, less my girl that's top of me. Cause I'm writing this philosophy to save the game from these rap atrocities. That's really upon the prop, but not moving properly, just awkwardly. Manifestation and synchronicity has got to be one of the keys, cause I believe that God's got a spot at the top where I could be. So no stopping me, nigga, to get away from more than hate. Fake snakes and the killers turn to apes and gorillas with bananas eclipse and shooting for the damaging. And like this new culture, niggas' lifespans be canceling, and what they doing is eliminating a chance to win. Hatred turned to arrogance, the wonder why they airing it. From negativity, I need me a break. I've been slacking on my craft, so I need to create.
Put a tree to escape. All right, Don Julio.
All right, all right, Derek, Derek.
I'm sorry, I was trying to keep up with the words. Don Julio, uh, first off I like the name. I didn't understand shit about the explanation of the name. Like, really, really, hey, the name Don Julio by itself stands alone. You didn't have to tell us the rest of it because it's just a dope name, you know what I'm saying? It's a popular drink, so you don't have to. But, uh, I feel like maybe you, um, you would benefit from being in the studio and ghostwriting and being around until you found, found, found your voice. I don't, I don't know much about you, and I didn't I didn't hear it in the, in the rapping. Don't mean you can't do it. And then you really got to be passionate about what you're doing. I don't, I don't hear no passion. I just hear you, you know, getting to the next words. That's why I'm saying like, yo, I think you would be good at ghostwriting just because I didn't hear the passion. Not that you ain't got it, but I just didn't hear it. So it's a no for me.
It's a no.
All right, Sean, did you just get in like arguing with your girlfriend or something? You look real fast, huh? Did you just get on like this?
You a punk? No, I was like, I was just, uh, I just got on, I was, I'm on camera, I just got a little, you know, a little shy, camera shy.
Yeah, a little shy, nervous. Yeah, you could tell, like, but I would definitely say Comeback. It's gonna be a no for me, but this is performative, so you do have bars, but it don't come across if you don't, you know, perform, be more performative. You notice with the other rappers tonight, even the ones that didn't get chosen, they were more performative. So I would say do that, you could put more energy behind, but you look real sad, so it wasn't necessarily enjoyable just because I kind of felt bad for you the whole time you were rapping. So no for me, but come back.
Okay, all right, cool. All right, so, um, so that's two nos. There's really nothing I could do to save you except pull my— I, I don't even think I have the gold card. I don't even think we gave it to anybody. But, um, so my thing is, I think that you you can rap. I do. Um, but I, you know, you're a very attractive guy, you know, the chocolate I like, I like the goatee, you know. Um, but the wave cap in the room is giving— are you in jail right now?
No, I'm on my, my crib.
You sure?
Okay, I thought it was a cell, and then those stripes, I didn't know. I got a baseball bat. I'm just— we're looking for a performance, like people who— wow, I just—
I thought it was about like, you know, showing your talent. I could rap, so that's why. I mean, I get it, I gotta perform it.
Yeah, yeah, so come back. Can you come back to another show and give it to us?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you.
Okay, take off the wave cap and the durag. Okay, let us see, uh, you know.
Oh, you want to see the waves? I didn't— I don't got no waves right now.
I know, you know, you kind of giving Kevin McCall a little bit, like with a, with a beard. Like, come on, let us see that as women.
Like, okay, I got you next time.
All right, cool. Yes. All right, so, so yes on the looks, but I know on the— go ahead, boy, get off the screen for my husband wake up. Get off the screen.
You like a thuggish looking nigga. You gotta fucking tell— it's a thug that you like. That what the fuck this is. You, yeah, you, yeah, this is these thug ass niggas.
Why ain't tell him yes then?
A thug ass nigga from around the— it don't matter. Yo, you was like yes to the looks, no to the motherfucking talent.
He was fine, I ain't gonna lie now. He was, he was nice looking. That's why I was like, are you in jail?
You know, you and Sean be talking about me, but you keep fuckers with Sean, with Gerald tonight, and then you with this nigga here. Y'all be talking about my black ass, but you two motherfuckers be doing the same shit.
No, you give like invite back to the hotel room though.
Yeah, this is— you give come over. Like, I wouldn't do no shit like that. Okay, all right, who next?
Jasmine, who next? Um, Sativa is back with her connection.
Okay, cool. Hey, Sativa, how you doing? Okay, so you calling from, uh, gotcha. All right, cool. So we know you in, uh, Tulsa, Oklahoma? Yes, ma'am. Okay, what you gonna be doing? I was gonna sing for y'all. All right, let's go. What you singing? All right, Monica, uh, For You I Will. Okay, all right. For you I will lay my life on the line for you I will fight a home for you I will die with every breath. All right, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. No. Sativa sat. Open your goddamn eyes!
Open up your goddamn eyes!
And Latasha, I was trying to tell you we couldn't really hear you. I think your finger is over the microphone before you gave all your energy. Oh no, oh no, I'm sorry. Yes. We was trying to flag you down, girl. Like, go back. I was— I get into it. I get into it. I'm sorry. Okay, can you, can you set the phone down and sing? Let me see, because I think that—
I don't know.
She was giving my song, but we just couldn't hear.
All right, let me get it. Is that better? That's better. Now go. Okay, go. For you I will, okay, lay my life on the line. For you I will fight, oh, for you I will die. With every breath, with all my soul, I give my word, I give it all. Put your faith in me and I'll do anything. All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right. Okay, okay. All right, so, uh, Derek, I'm gonna start— I mean, uh, uh, Sean, I'm gonna start with you.
I think that Tasha gave good advice with having you put the phone down because we did get to be more clear. But in with hearing you, like, you're— you want to talk? Mute your phone!
Mute your phone, Sativa! Mute your phone!
Yeah, poor little Ting Ting. Like, I can tell, like, by your actions, like, you really want to be able was the thing. It's just the sound didn't necessarily match the action, but there is a voice in there. There is. But it's a no for me. It's definitely a no. Okay, all right, cool.
All right, Derek, you from Oklahoma and I'm from Arkansas, man, and you look like we related. We look like cousins, man. You, you look like you could be my, my cousin. And, um, and the homie and all that shit, man. And, uh, damn, man, we can play spades together and dominoes and all type of shit, you know, fun shit, you know what I mean? We could do fun shit. Tasha, you rushing me? No. Okay, well, that was gonna be my answer, so you said it, I'll go with it. This is my cousin though, and we family. Ain't that right, Cood?
So Sativa, um, I think it's just the wrong song. No, I think I need a better song. Can you come back in another show? Give me, give me something a little bit more controlled, a little bit more in your range. Okay. All right, it's a no for me for now. Okay. All right, bye-bye. All right, is it last but not least, Quinn, before y'all get to voting?
Yes, last is Quinn Kelly. Not the comments, Tommy.
It don't matter what song she sings, she can't sing.
Sorry. Correct. Oh, correct. Uh, yeah, Quinn Kelly.
Hey, Quinn! Hello, Miss Tasha K, how are you? Welcome back. So you gonna be doing some clean comedy? Yes, I am. Hello, Mr. Derek King, how are you? Okay, let's go, Queen. And hello, Joan Rivers. I'll go ahead and get started. I was good in math until I lost my virginity, because now stuff ain't adding up. He said, I'ma call you back in a minute. I know a minute works. I know a minute worth 60 seconds. He ain't coming back 3 days. Now my math ain't mathing now, cuz I thought I could count. I thought 1 1 equals 2, but clearly it equal 3, cuz he had a girl on the side. I'm sitting over here trying to work out pie, and he trying to have his cake and eat it too. This dude told me he wanted to go half on a baby. And he left me with the whole baby. So now my fraction's off, my algebra is even messed up because I'm trying to find his ex. I don't know why. Hilarious. Thank you. Hilarious. Is it a yes or no for you, Derek?
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Because like, because you look like you could cook. That's all. I can cook.
Now listen, hey man, she's so like, yo, she's, she's everything that we tell the other comedians. She's giving it. Of course I want you to be a lot faster. Like, yo, you're, you're, you're pausing. My theater professor used to call them pregnant pauses. I don't like your pregnant pauses, but I do like your thought, your thought process. I just, I fuck with it. But go ahead, Tasha. So yes for me.
All right, Sean.
I think it's cute that she still thinks she's funny, but, um, you know, I'm glad that she definitely came back, you know, and gave it another whirl, you know. I mean, why not?
But again, it's just, you know, with the same outfit on, but you want to tell me—
same hat, same shirt.
And you too, what do you know?
We both did. We pulled out the same cloth. Us.
What? Twins, right? Not twins. It has to be. Yo, no, this was good.
Huge no for me. Um, again, shout out to Derek.
I'm sure it'll always be a no for you. Absolutely. I hope, I hope that one day when someone is on someone else's platform judging and it's not their show and they are to help you out, I hope they don't judge you based off the way you look or how they want you to look.
Well, they are, and I'm okay with that. Well, you, you have to be too, because the difference between me and you is I hold the key to you, but there's no key to me.
But again, you got to mute yourself. We almost done. Tell— are you almost off work? No. Okay, go ahead, uh, Sean.
Yeah, I feel like you should definitely keep going, but again, it's just a no for me. But you know, again, beautiful smile.
So both of y'all showed up tonight in the same outfits that y'all had on during the last show. I was blue last week, but it's okay. I remember the dress, it was covering your shoulders. I think you look gorgeous just today. Thank you. Um, and it's a, it's, it's a yes for me. Aww, thank you. It is a yes for me. Sean, the fuck?
Well, she ain't gonna win, so it's fine. I think it's cute. Y'all said the thing—
the fact that you think you had as much power— I think she got it. And I ain't gonna lie, anybody that can roast you, that's pretty tough. She did good tonight with that.
We're still waiting for that to happen, but I mean, eventually Even, you know, somebody would be together. It just won't be Quinn. But shout out to her, like I said, you know. And I'm not trying to control your destiny, sweetheart. I never would do that to you, you know. Even if I had the power to, I wouldn't. So, but I wish you great success.
Okay, let's get to the, to the judging. Jasmine, how many people do we have coming through? Quinn, stay right here. Just how many people we got coming through?
We, uh, we lost one. We lost, uh The Real Mucho Flow.
Which one?
Uh, actually we lost a couple there. I don't know where they went. They, they left. So what we have left is Born to Speak, Mara, Legalize Kane, and Gerald.
We got to tell these people to hold on. Maybe you should start getting their phone number. Okay, what happened to the crackhead?
I mean, Renee. Oh God, maybe her phone died. I don't know.
All right, so y'all put them, put them in the chat, Jasmine, and bring them up one at a time. 30 seconds, y'all gonna vote, and the winner is gonna win $300 and a chance to compete at a, um, at the final. And then next week, no, no surprise guests. We were supposed to be done with this an hour ago.
What, what? Listen, we was— I thought it brought value to the show, and he He's valuable and he my friend.
And I got that wheezing and we need to get on.
We've been here for 2 hours and 22 minutes. I came here at the 2-hour mark.
I was there, uh, reading, um, Josephus.
Can I tell you a little something about history?
He would like to tell you something. No, after the show I'll call him. After the show.
Where the contestants? FaceTime me after the show.
Week after the show. Where the contestant?
All right, we're gonna start with, uh, Born to Speak.
Born to Speak. Hey, you got all the names in the chat, Jasmine?
Actually, since— hold on, how many we got? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. We have 5, so I can't really split it up evenly.
So we'll just screenshot it like you did last time. Come on in here, y'all got 30 seconds. Chance to compete to convince these people to vote for you. Okay, so whatever your votes are, that's what it's going to be. So we got— how you doing, Born to Speak? I'm all right.
I wanted to know, did you want me to finish the original poem? I just wrote another one. You said do something about love and togetherness.
Whatever you want to do, go with your gut.
My gut says finish. Okay. Okay. Now watch me work. We don't have to pop our P's and twerk because we can dance circles around you with our minds. We're connected to our ancestors of sorts. We don't need hothead males because our refined, reformed hoes step in line for the fairy tales. We want alphas with the pedigrees to lead our households, not with bullets racked into guns, totes and holsters, or males that have us in mental and financial chokeholds. Love was never supposed to be a prison sentence, but a place where our essence can be free to be we.
And sir, if you're stuck in a baby Okay, you hit your time, so blessings. Yeah, no, I was just saying she hit her time. Hey, Born to Speak, you know I love you. I don't know what time you— listen, hey, no, no, no, I was, I was going off the time, T. I was just— hey man, working here. Yeah, Born to Speak, I love you.
If you want Born to Speak to go to win $300 or go on tour with me, please guys vote for for her right now. All right, uh, the poll is in the chat. Thank you so much, Miss Born to Speak. Okay, awesome performance. You are a bitch.
Let me, let me tell you something. I was just— I was just sitting over here. I got my clock going.
Put the time up. Next we have, uh, Gerald.
What's up? I'm back again. Look at Sean.
As soon as this nigga come on screen, Sean fucking start glowing. It ain't a light over this bitch. I ain't never seen a motherfucker do this shit so much. Latasha, this motherfucker, as soon as this nigga come on—
I was like that when the jail dude came up. He claimed he wasn't in jail. That was jail. Hey, so y'all make sure y'all vote for me, but, um, all right. I'mma sing. I should be crying, but I just can't let it go.
No, no, baby, I should be hoping, but I Damn, hey boy, you could have stopped after that first goddamn note. I ain't even gonna lie to you, I started to stop you then, but damn.
Listen, I am not hitting on you. You're not my type. You are very attractive, but you're just not my type. Type, but that is an orgasm type note. Yeah, whoa, it has, it has the clitoris just stuttering. Thank you, y'all. If you want Gerald to win, vote for Gerald. Y'all vote for me out there. All right, all right, stay back, stay back. What was wrong with you? It was incredible.
All right, Tasha, give me, uh, give me 30 seconds, Derek, on the clock, and then I'm gonna end the poll and start the next one.
Okay, listen, Tasha, what's wrong with you though? Why, why was you acting like that? You and Sean, y'all need to get a hold of y'all damn self. Sean was down since that nigga left.
I don't do light-skinned, uh, men. Um, I like chocolate gel weights.
There you go. But Sean, I really do. I really don't— over here talking about yummy. Sean, what the fuck's wrong with you, bro? Yeah, you mouthed it.
Get out of my mouth! Why? Get out of my life! Why? Because when this nigga come on—
oh, jump! You passed your 30 seconds. Uh, yeah, you're at 38 seconds.
Seconds, Jazz. To his defense, to his defense, he does sing almost on what they call like— is it the God's Melody? What is it? I know what you—
I know what you're talking about. I know what you're talking about.
Yeah, I ain't gonna get him all that. Halle Bailey sings on God's Melody. Like, I forgot what it's called. It'll just make you start crying. It just makes you squirt.
That's it. Y'all need to stop this shit. That's because y'all looking at him and listening Y'all on that other shit.
All right, who's next? Who's next?
Uh, is she here? Is she here? Uh, Mara. Okay.
Hey Mara, welcome back!
Hi, I read up on the news after this. Um, I understand where you're coming from. Um, I didn't say anything.
I know, it's okay.
I understand where it's coming from. It's okay, I understand.
When did you find out?
Um, well, I looked up the stuff about Shannon Sharp, kind of, you know, I— Shannon Sharp was okay.
I don't know.
Anyway, um, should I sing the song now so that we can—
Yes, absolutely. Absolutely.
All right, um, I'm gonna sing MacArthur Park this time because I love Donna Summer. Okay, MacArthur Park is melting in the dark. All the sweet green icing flowing down. Someone left the cake out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it, 'cause it took too long to bake it, and I'll never have that recipe again.
Okay, okay. All right, uh, Derek, uh, all right, why knows. Listen, Mara, that was gorgeous. It was beautiful. Okay, and I'm glad that you did a history lesson. And you know, Black people, we're just really going through it now. Just, just to your defense and to Gabby's defense, I am on Gabby's side. Okay, correct. I am on Gabby's side because his, his old ass had no business fucking around with a child. You understand what I'm saying? White, Black, Hispanic, Asian. However, we're just a little bit upset that white women make more money than Black women when it comes to these cases. And so that's kind of where we're divided. You understand what I'm saying? Because we would have got $200,000. R. Kelly gave all his victims that were Black $250,000. Gabby is going for $50 million. So we're, we're, we're— it's just the value of how you're— they're devaluing Black vagina. Vagina as opposed to white vagina. That's not right. That's really not right.
It's not. It's not. Because her name is Gabby Coonigga, and I was like, who nigga?
Oh my God, it fucks with me, Mara.
It's okay. I mean, listen, I think it's terrible, and I genuinely think we need to have a discussion about how we treat white women and how they pass— like, you know, they enable the patriarchy, and there are a lot of things with that, and I, I think it's terrible, and I fully support and love Black women. Um, Megan Thee Stallion, and you know, everybody was like, they're the most underrepresented and unprotected people in society. Abort, Mara, abort, abort!
I thought you could have said Coretta Scott King.
You were doing good, you were doing good. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I don't want your political views to affect them voting for you because they really like your voice. Okay, Mara is on for $300 and a chance to go on tour with us next year in 2026. If you like Mara's voice, please vote for her in the chat. We'll see you back at the end. Okay, Mara. Okay, thank you. We, we're almost done. We're almost done. Okay. All right, that was a lot. I thought I was gonna get sued.
Hey man, let me tell you something. You do That child said, I fully support. I said, you better get some goddamn phones.
How does I feel about that cake being on the floor she was singing about?
First of all, he left, and you're not gonna do that to my homeboy Sean.
All right, we almost there. Legalizing is up next.
All right, uh, all right, let's get it.
Can y'all give me— let me rap. Start when I rap because it's just like a brief 5 seconds.
Okay, go ahead, go ahead. Appreciate y'all.
I'm up against a white woman, a sexy singer they say, you feel me, and a black woman. This is a hard race for me as a black man right now. Yeah, but look, though, like I said, I appreciate everybody that follow me on Instagram.
Let's go, huh?
Girl, my love don't stop and start with you. Pray it don't end. From beginning, gave my heart to you. It was your beauty and your ass, plus you smart too. I flame the blunt, then hit your leg, you spark it too. Yeah, we soon to be yin and yang, you and me. Drake vibes, that's all me. I fuck you on the beach and let them all see. I know I twisted your dad house late night trying to get a peek. Yeah, she showed me that's my freak, plus we be hiding tall trees. Besides God, you the one I please. Besides God, you the one I need. That pussy good, so I feet. The more she come, I never leave. It really does no smell for me. The fact she go through hell for me, jail visits and hotel for me. I win when she take L to me.
Listen, that's what I'm talking about, that's what I'm talking about. There you go.
Yeah, nigga, you went hard, fam.
You have my legs all up and shit, like, yes! Chocolate, would it be?
Salute to y'all, man. I appreciate Uh, before y'all drop me off here, can I say something? Make it quick. Hey, to my kids, I got full custody of y'all. Y'all mama lying. Y'all mama watch this shit. I know her bald head is watching it. I love y'all. On Daddy Grave, I got custody of y'all. Facts. I know she watching it. That's a message for my kids. Oh, hey, they love me. Oh, my kids. I ain't gonna lie to you.
Are you serious? Are you being serious right now?
I'm dead serious. 2018, my kids was taken from me. February 2018, they was taken from me. I haven't had my kids in my possession since February 2018. She went with my baby mama. Boom. And I got custody of my kids, and I still pay child support to this day. That's a fact. It's another story though, but I love y'all, my babies.
All right, okay, all right, up next, up next. Up next, up next. I just wish Love and Hip Hop would have never came on television. Whatever happened to the days where we saw the talent and that was it?
No, this right here, we— he going through some shit. And I'm with legalizing cane here. Legalize the cocaine and legalize getting them.
Hey, so, uh, Renee, enough. Renee did come back. Hold on, let me go to the snake.
I'm gonna give her the floor. Hi y'all, I'm sitting here. How are you doing? We can't see you, Renee, it's pitch black. Nothing wrong with that, girl.
You gotta turn on the high beams.
Turn on the high beams.
Could y'all see a musty bitch now? Girl, I look like I'm over here robbing people.
I'm going straight to prison. Go outside. You gotta turn your high beams on. Girl, as soon as I go back to jail, we'll respond. Are you outside? What the hell is going on out there?
Yes, I'm outside.
Are the neighbors out there too? Could y'all see me now? Yeah, we can see you.
Girl, I got to get in my house because Could y'all see me?
Okay, well, girl, go, go and get in your house. Let us, let us go to another one and then we'll bring you back up, okay? Hurry up now, hurry up now. Y'all say she look like Curious George.
Hey, face on, face on. Look, yeah, you're on there now.
Am I on there?
Yeah, you on there.
They see you. Hey, I can't keep this poll up much longer, so I gotta keep going. Okay, come on.
The crackhead coming back. Hold on.
Hey, Quinn! Hey, y'all, come on back. He said the crackhead was coming back and then you pulled me up. You play too. That's funny. That's my sister. Y'all gonna get off Renee. I ain't say shit. I voted her through. Okay, all right, let's go, man. I've been dealing with self-esteem my whole life. I was gonna get a BBL when I was about 16. Yes, a BBL, Brazilian butt lift. I, I've been shaped like this my whole life. I'm skinny and I, I, I want to be shaped like a pear, but God saw fit for me to be shaped like a carrot. That mean I'm skinny with a big back. And when I went to the doctor's office, he said, do you know how it work? I said, yeah, I know how it work. You take the fat from where you want it, put it where you want. They said they ain't have no fat to pull. I had insufficient fat funds. So I'm looking for anybody, AB negative blood type. I'm looking for a fat donor. You did good. All right, if y'all want Quinn, uh, to win $300 vote for Quinn right now in the chat, and then she gets a chance— if she wins, she gets a chance to come back and perform in front of all of you guys on the stage. Okay, that was funny. I'm shaped like a carrot too, so you got boobs, you know, they say you blessed. I thought I was unblessed, but I'm good now. I teach self-defense. Can you, can you say something nice about Quinn, please?
She has a beautiful smile.
Oh, so she does make you laugh with her smile?
No, you didn't make me laugh when she first came in, when she said the whole— right, that was fine. I said the first time she made me laugh, that was funny.
That was funny though. Okay, all right, who's next? Jeff, damn.
All right, Renee is back and it looks like she got some lighting, so let's go.
Do y'all see me back? Yes, we see you. Fortunately, yes. Yes. Okay, go ahead.
Oh, you want me to do another set? Yes. Oh, okay. Men is hard right now to date. I always meet my men off— you don't have to be lonely— nowfarmersonly.com. And now I was dating this one dude and he came to pick me up and he said, you got your choice where you want to, um, where you want to sit at. And I was like, what do you mean? He said, you can sit in the trunk or under the hood. I chose under the hood. And then he got mad because I ain't got no no teeth. I said I do got teeth, they just in my other purse. You know, people don't understand beautiful people because there's a lot of people that don't come together, but I do come together. Everything about me is beautiful because I'm right next door to gorgeous and right around the corner from cute. So when people— thank you.
Okay, if you guys want Renee to win, please vote for Renee for a chance to win $300 and go on tour. Sean, why were you looking stank face like that?
Was the eye looking stank-faced or was he—
was he was trying— oh shit, it's your turn, nigga, because it ain't on me this time. You was matching faces, Sean?
Correct. I just don't want her to feel alone. I like Renee.
I'm gonna look it through. All right, y'all, Renee is a lot of megapixels. 30 seconds and I'm closing the poll.
All right, so the poll is open. We're good, everybody's performed.
That's everybody.
All right, who's winning next week? I swear to God, this show gonna be an hour and then we— hour 15 and we got 15 minutes to vote. This is Derek's fault tonight, damn it.
I take the blame for that, man. But look here, let me tell you something. That damn Renee made my whole damn night. Damn everybody else, Renee made my damn night. You wanted to come?
You want to give her free tickets to your, uh, your comedy show? Absolutely not.
I want to give a recommendation to your dentist. That's what I want to give them. Oh God, Sean, listen, hey Sean, let me tease you.
All right, y'all, we gonna have to do a little runoff. Well, we got a tie. It's very, very, very, very close. Who? Between Legalize Kane and Gerald.
Oh, I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one there, dog. That's a good one.
All right, so put the poll back up. We're going into overtime. Put the poll back up. Oh, that's fire. I'll start with first. Come on back up here, uh, Gerald. Hold on, give me 10 seconds to put the poll up. That's—
let me tell you how difficult this is. Gerald can sing-sing. Kane, he can rap Okay, Sean, chill the fuck out. Gerald can sing, sing. And Kane, he, he can rap, but he's doing his original shit, man. It's hard to beat a motherfucker whenever they— hey, that nigga, he can sing, man. But Kane, boy, you rapping your ass off if you hanging in there with Gerald.
Unfortunately for us, we're not voting. It's the—
it's the— that's right, that's right. That's why I say this is— they doing it. If they don't match them two up, boy, that's That's some cold shit there.
Yeah, I need you to, to get on this show.
Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna let both of them go and then I'm gonna put the poll up so they can vote at the same time.
All right, cool. Who's first? First is Gerald. All right, come on, Gerald. Hey, come on, Gerald. I don't feel in here. Yep. Too deep. Yes, I forgot, but you know how I feel. Yes, and things slip my mind, and that's a fact. Tell me you love me and I'll tell you back. Hater. Derek.
Derek is a hater. Nah, man. Hey, I like that. That nigga, you cold, boy. Button your goddamn shirt up, but you cold, nigga.
Leave it alone. Hater. Come on up here, Legalize Kane. Yay, yay, snort one. Yes, Lord. They want another one.
I wish y'all would stop him because I would like to actually just fully display my talent so I could have— because his— no disrespect— his talent is played through his voice. Uh, his man is my word, so it's kind of different. But I got y'all, I'm with it. Just let me get right—
just started when I started rapping though. Now get right into it though.
Let's go. All right.
Yeah, huh. My life's a nightmare. It won't stop me from chasing dreams. Movie plot, them trying to take me out the scene. The pressure's so loud, look, I get quiet and I scream. Should have known they watched the throne while you were sitting with a king. You closed the door on me, I pushed the love through the screen. It's bad for you, you still want it like a fiend. It's hard to shoot your shot when you ain't balling with a team. And them blizzies played out, give me the car I got about that trench mud clean. Hell yeah, I'm strong-minded. Always wait on me. Look, I was spending time with people who couldn't wait on me, but instead they got mad, put the hate on me. And I'm sorry I wasn't who you want me to be.
Goddamn crazy, nigga.
You, you know, you did go crazy. You got— hey, hey, I started when you start rapping, but nigga, you did go crazy. Fuck you talking about, nigga? You spazzed. I appreciate it.
Why you start talking like a— what is with this? Like, all of a sudden you just like—
hey, cuz, let me, let me tell both of y'all something, cuz. When I'm over here talking to the homie, y'all gonna stop all that shit, cuz.
Oh no, no, no, no. All right, Jasmine, put the poll up so we can announce the winner. I deeply apologize to the winos for being here for 3 hours again. Next week we got— I swear to God, Jasmine, you better You better— we're gonna, we're gonna have you do that timer. No, next week you on the clock, Derek. You got it.
I'm giving them 60 seconds to put your votes in.
60 seconds, let's go! Start the clock, Derek.
It started just right now.
Who do you want to win?
Tasha, come on now, don't do that. You don't even have to say— look at, look at, look at the shit grinning like Hey, what the fuck was this?
Does he even play for your team is the question.
I don't give a flying—
this nigga tripping, man. It's hard for me.
They're both extremely— they're both really good.
Yeah, they are. They're both really good.
They're very good. Like, I, I think we did good tonight. I think we did good tonight.
Let me keep it a buck with you. I'm gonna keep it a buck with you. If we talking about for the tour, it's definitely Gerald. Legalize Kane got some talent, but if you talking about literally for what would look good on the tour, like what— yo, I see him. Not that Legalize Kane couldn't—
do you know this nigga or something? Yeah, that's my cousin, nigga. I know, I know. You told him get on up in here.
All right, 60 seconds up. I'm ending the poll.
60 seconds is up.
Everybody voted so they don't be jumping underneath the comments.
Are they divided like us?
This was crazy close. Who won, Jaz? With 58% of the votes, legalize cane. Dang!
Oh shit! Why though? Damn! You never know how shit is gonna go. Wow, I thought, I thought—
nah, nigga, nah. I appreciate y'all, man.
We legalizing—
before Legalize Kane comes up here, let me talk to— let me talk to the singing boy. It happened, man. It's not me, it's not me. I mean, you're me. Gerald. I would say don't forgive me though. Don't forgive me. Y'all might still need to sing on that too. You— there's other episodes you could dominate on, and then there's a stage you could get on at the end of the year, like October, and you— they will vote for you in person. So like, don't give up. Like, there's other episodes. So we'll be here next— every Thursday. All right, cool, cool. Congratulations, Nikolai's Kind. You were talented. So shit, I lost to a big dog. Y'all, his baby mama ain't gonna be happy about this.
Okay, thank you so much, Gerald.
We'll see you next time.
Goddamn, this shit don't be going how I think it's gonna go.
I know, y'all be totally flipping shit. Kane, congratulations.
I appreciate y'all, man. I appreciate y'all.
Hey Kane, you don't have to accept that from Sean because I don't think he meant the shit, but he said it, but he don't think he meant it.
Because his little boyfriend didn't win, that's all. I— we are not dating yet, correct? Goddamn, y'all, come on now. Hey, Kane, congratulations, Kane!
Thank y'all, I appreciate it.
Damn, like, you came through. Are you just— it's just shocking how people— like, we just put through who we think is good and then we just let the viewers vote. That's what's beautiful. Tonight you win $300, so we're gonna, you know, Jasmine gonna get your information, your Zelle never going. But then we're going to get your information because we're going to get you to Florida and we're going to do a sing-off. So you will be going up against Marcella, uh, that sang last time. So you'll get to perform your whole set on stage, okay, in front of the winos. They're gonna buy tickets and they're gonna come, and it's gonna be like that old school Apollo type shit, you know. So I'm ready for it. Let's make it do what it do. Wow, wow. So your baby mama gonna be pissed She gonna try to garnish that $300 though?
No, not really, because both— like, my baby mamas, they good women, they good to my kids. For whatever reason, they don't know how to get out of their feelings and separate parenting and, well, relationship feelings. Um, but they great parents, so I don't want nobody to feel like my, my— you know, I mean, they bad people at all. No, they just make bad decisions sometimes.
Okay. Okay. All right, well, well, listen, um, I'm, I'm happy for you. And I can't wait to see you on, on stage at the end of the year. And hopefully, you know, you may be able to go on tour with me next year, man.
Thank y'all. Appreciate it.
Congratulations. All right, you want to thank the Winos?
Yeah, I appreciate everybody, everybody in the comments, all the people that follow me on Instagram. I appreciate that so much. Um, I'm streaming on all platforms. Um, I have a project that's dropping in the May. Um, and salute to the people that you know, work with me and everything.
All right, congratulations. So we'll see you at the end of the year. Thank you. There.
Oh, oh, my bad, my bad. I was— I mean, I'm getting my, uh, blood pressure medicine ready before I go to bed.
Yep. Good job. Okay. All right, cool.
Uh, what's all this eye rolling shit Sean got going on, man? I say I don't like all that, you know what I'm talking about?
Last week with Marcella. Did he? Yeah, he want Marcel to win.
Oh, he wanted that, uh, the nigga with the gold microphone to win. That's right.
Yes, y'all get these shows every Thursday, guys, and it's gonna be in Miami. The sing-off will be in Miami, okay? The, the final talent show for everyone who won for each episode will get to perform in front of y'all. So we'll let you know when the tickets are on sale, all right, for that. Uh, great show tonight, Jasmine. Uh, next, next week, can we, uh, get you to just interrupt us and then we'll have, uh, Derek on the timer so we'll move faster? I'm sorry, I was in the green room. I know you was in the green room, so we'll get Derek to control. All right, cool. Um, this was crazy.
Are you shocked? I am. I'm very shocked. I didn't think he was gonna win. I, honest to God, yo, I was talking shit about what's his name.
Either. That voice was from that boy was just very— he has like God's tempo. It's very orgasmic. Like, I can come to that. Why are you speechless over there? Because I can come to that all night. I want to hear that. I said come. I didn't say cum. I said come. I can come in the house. So nasty, Derek. Damn. Jesus, why you see— you were looking at that girl, tell me what's that tattoo on your chest, and all you saw was titties.
But was that a W-O or was that 2 O's?
It was 2 O's. I seen them. I would look— I'm not ready now. 2 O's. Too deep.
Thank y'all so much for coming through, Winos. Thank you for sitting here 3 hours. Thank you to the judges for sitting been here 3 hours. I swear to God on everything, next week it won't. Last week, well, we was down 30 minutes because last week's show was 3 and a half plus hours.

Is Faison still in your room?
No, he went back to his room. And I don't like the way you said that shit just then. And so you said better than next goddamn time you say some shit.
The way you was, you was egging on Legalize K, right? No, dog, no. Sean, tell the winos where they can find you, follow you.
