It is a virtual open mic.
We offer you the platform to shoot your motherfucking shot. Okay. And so listen, you guys got 1 minute to shoot your shot. If the whistle gets blown before 1 minute, you got to go.
We're judging.
We're getting you out for the next person. Okay. You got to convince 2 out of 3 judges in order to— is it 2 out of 3 judges?
I forgot the rules of my own damn show, huh?
2 out of 3 judges and you get through. Okay. So we're making it fair. Without further ado, I want to introduce my amazing co-host, Sean Davey Wade. What's going on, Sean? I'm up in this piece. Sean, why you look— what's going on? Why you look like you just robbed somebody?
Like you just robbed Moniece?
I may just have. You never know.
Oh, you got some new production equipment? Because she said she don't like Black people because they take all her stuff. And, you know, they broke into her car. Come on. Yeah, we'll talk about that later. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. All right, so we got Sean David.
Wait, if— listen, Sean, what do you call your people on your channel?
The Uncheckables.
The Uncheckables. Because go ahead, check me.
Been waiting, been waiting.
I don't know. Now the last two episodes we had a few contestants.
The last two episodes was just the last two episodes. That's it, that's it.
Okay, all right, listen, they were shooting their shot on you.
All right, so Sean, listen, hilarious. I love him, um, excellent entertainer all the way around. And so I'm excited for him to be here permanently, a part of this show. Let's hope we can continue to afford him. That's the only thing.
Okay, all right. And so our comedian extraordinaire and entertainment, Derrick King. What's going on, Derrick?
Hey, what it do, Tasha? What up, Sean? Davey, wait, what up, Winos?
You always try to come in here acting like a thug, but you—
no, no, no, no.
Sean David Wade definitely took the thug aspect today. Uh, listen, I don't, I don't think thugs do this shit. I don't know what the fuck this is, but, but nah, man, I'm feeling good. I'm at the, uh, Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, man. They treat me like a king around here.
Now you finna have some people show up at your hotel trying to rob you of your fake chain.
They're not gonna— wait a minute, Tasha, did you just shoot a slug? Did you just shoot a slip and you spit your little glass around?
You gonna have them down there in Las Vegas Hotel. Johnny, Johnny, stay in your chair.
Get up in here. This ain't the Motel 6. You can't get up in here.
Okay, all right, cool, cool. All right, we'll talk about why you in Vegas later, because we know what goes down in Vegas.
Yeah, gonna stay out here. Gonna stay out here.
Yeah, Kevin Hart and Diddy and all them be down there.
No, no, no, no, no, no, we ain't doing that. We ain't doing—
you know, that's how you hang with is them celebrities.
Who, me? Yeah, you was just with Faison last week. Who you with tonight?
Me and my good friend Jimmy O. Yang, the, uh, Asian superstar. Next weekend it'll be Bill Bellamy, but that's nothing. You know, Renee said nobody knows me, so we don't care.
Okay, I mean, yeah, but I know y'all got groupies waiting after the club, so we'll—
I mean, you know, hey, Tasha, you know, they are not groupies.
They're people.
Yeah, yeah, I don't have no groupies. I have Bible study after I get done.
That's what I said. I was hoping you would correct that real fast. Okay, listen, all right guys, so we got some White Nose backstage, or viewers backstage, that are ready to shoot their shot. All right, what'd you say? All right, oh, real quick, before we, uh, get into, um, the people that are going to, uh, shoot their shot and open up the platform, we got to introduce last week's winner, Legalize Kane.
Now a lot of people say he cheated Because he had music.
Oh yeah, interesting.
They said that we should have gave—
is it A—
what's his name?
Ace?
Gerald?
He definitely know. He definitely know who the fuck that was.
Gerald, uh, a chance to use his music, but his voice was so beautiful he didn't need any music. He didn't. Guys, we're gonna ask that you guys, uh, you know, refrain from using any music, and we're gonna let legalized K had this, okay? Because he should be able to freestyle. If you're a real rapper, you should be able to— what? Grab it, that thing. What's Eminem, that thing? But you know, 8 Mile, that thing, right?
Is that what you're saying right now?
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Listen, Legalize K won last week, y'all.
Take a look at his performance.
Come on up here, Legalize K. Huh? My life's a nightmare, it won't stop me from chasing dreams. Movie plot, them trying to take me out the scene. The pressure's so loud, look, I get quiet and I scream. Should have known they watched the phone while you were You close the door on me, I push the love through the screen. It's bad for you, you still want it like a fiend. It's hard to shoot your shot when you ain't balling with a team. And them glizzies played out, give me the carbon with the beam. Salute me, I got about that trench mud clean. Hell yeah, I'm strong-minded, all this weight on me. Look, I was spending time with people who couldn't wait on me, but instead they got mad, put the hate on me. And I'm sorry I wasn't who you want me to be.
All right, so that was, that was our episode 2 winner.
He did his thing, man. That boy— listen, to beat the guy that he beat last week, you had to have some talent, and that boy had talent.
Yeah.
And one thing I do want to say, I like Gerald.
What'd you say?
Rhinos should not be complaining about who won when y'all have the power to choose the winner. We don't choose the winner, y'all choose the winner.
So if y'all—
he won, or that you wanted Gerald to win, or anybody else. Y'all choose the people. We talk about it, but y'all choose to win.
Exactly.
Leave us out of it.
Leave us out the group chat. We just get y'all the ones that are good and let y'all take it from there.
Okay, that's how we keep it fair, because y'all choose.
Because they're gonna start thinking, you know, we setting it up, we, you know, we want to send our friends through, and it's like, we ain't even got no friends.
What are you talking about?
Right, so don't Everyone hates us.
All right, we got some passionate people waiting backstage to shoot their shot for their chance to win $300 tonight, okay? And a chance to go on and compete against Legalize Kane and Marcella Love that won episode 1 and episode 2, okay? Marcella Love.
Oh, Tasha, run that stop sign because he ain't talking about nothing. Run the stop sign.
All right, who we got? Jasmine? Oscar, come on out. How you doing, Oscar? You're muted, Oscar.
I am good.
How y'all doing?
I'm fantastic, Oscar. Uh, you are from Malcolm Entertainment?
Yes, I am. And so I am a gentleman creatively that, uh, performs two social justice spoken word plays. I perform in 13 different characters, so I'm like a schizophrenic artist.
Oh, okay, that's different. Okay, but are you schizophrenic?
No.
Okay, I played one on TV though.
Okay, okay, cool. All right, no problem. So, uh, what are you going to be performing?
First of all, where are you from? Who are you representing?
Bronx, New York.
Okay, okay, it was given New York, I could tell.
And I'm going to be doing one of my favorite, uh, a character from one of my favorite movies, The Pirates of the Caribbean, uh, Captain Barbossa. So this is, uh, uh, uh, pirate spoken word.
All right, you got one, you got one minute, let's go!
I dare you, sully thy reputation with unholy presumption. Cast ye me in starboard like ruin among the bounty. Why must I look at you for inspiration? Why must I look at you ain't misbehavin'? I've been sweepin' beneath the dustboard for your score and plotting for the moment to eradicate slavery away. Contemporary slavery is very much among us like botulism, a rejected fungus, not in the hinterlands where some wanted to be, or at least seem to be, within the far depths of your colonial bastions, within the delights of your Octavius fashions. Ah, yet gaze upon young Bishop. He's a dependable lad. You have hindered his pursuit to be a university glad with your insistence dependent on low wages void of future sages. Have you seen the price of mortgage? Trades lately? Winnie thy whip and Chinni thy chain, I labored tirelessly for the East India Trading Company for free.
I was wondering where you were gonna blow the whistle, whistleblower.
I wasn't— well, let me tell you, I got my, I got my, uh, timer set. I was actually enjoying Oscar as a theater guy. No, no, no, I promise you I'm on the time. But as a guy that, uh, you know, I do different voices and stuff. I thought you embodied that character, um, uh, fantastically. I thought the, uh, you know, because listening to your natural voice and then how you did that character, I thought it was A1. It is definitely a yes for me.
Thank you.
I just— hey, and I don't think you're the right person for this competition, but I'm saying yes because— well, listen, I'm saying yes because he talented than a mother joker.
So I want to see him We got skits we're filming, so like for the show.
Yeah, he's, he's good. He, he could do a bunch of characters.
Yeah, we got skits, like he could be a part of the skits with the, the film group, you know, with the actors.
And I have experiences doing that. Yeah, yeah, some just improv, improvisational stuff, some improvisational. So I can just pick up on anything.
All right, Sean, you look confused. What's going on, brother?
Was it Derek's turn?
I, I don't know. I think he just went into it. I was supposed to tell, but he— I think he was just so excited.
I jumped the gun. I'm sorry.
No, you're fine. I think Derek and Sean are having a bit of fun.
Did Latasha didn't say you go first?
Because Sean is on his, uh, Thug Nation shit tonight. Oscar, this ain't got nothing to do with you.
Don't get the chain snatch.
Um, it sounds like previous—
previously on Power.
Okay, okay, this is another episode from before, right?
So you said Pirates of the Caribbean?
Yes, yeah, Captain Barbossa from the Pirates, um, you know, with, uh, Johnny Depp.
Okay, um, so it was interesting. I will definitely say that you did surprise me because I didn't think that you— yeah, but overall It was okay. It definitely was. You know, like Tasha said, you could definitely do skits and voiceovers and stuff like that. And my voiceover is going to be no, but I do think that that was entertaining for, you know, some people enjoyed it. Unfortunately, not necessarily me, but it was, it was okay. But it's a no for me. Tasha?
Okay, that's my, it's my interpretation of pirate poetry, if there was such a thing.
Okay, all right, cool. Well, listen, um, I, uh, I was, um, uh, shut up, shut up. Um, I think it was good voice, like, you know, your voice was on point as far as the pirates, you know what I'm saying? The energy was definitely there. I wasn't all the way kind of like, wow, like, this is an amazing actor or reader. So that's kind of why I'm just a little, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm— it's gonna be a no for me because I wasn't like blown away. Because like, I, I could use you like actors and actresses and stuff for, you know, our films because we film a lot of movies and stuff, and then we do skits. But I just kind of wasn't, you know, it wasn't— if I was, if I was casting for a movie, I would tell you no too.
I got you.
Okay, but thank you so much.
Absolutely.
Thank you.
All right, all right.
Hey, Sean, check me again on live. Check, check me one more damn time.
I don't know.
I know you can't.
His internet not working that well.
It damn sure ain't. Check your bill. You checking something, buddy? Check your Wi-Fi.
He just, he just moved in today. You know when you borrowing the neighbor's Wi-Fi, that's what he gives, correct? He ain't got turn it on yet.
He could have borrowed the outfit, right? That much.
All right, who—
I should have—
what?
Who?
Jasmine? K Cutter is up next. K Cutter, how you doing?
Hey, how y'all doing up there, man?
What's up?
What's up? Welcome to Shoot the Shot. Where you from, K Cutter?
From New Iberia, Louisiana.
Yeah, man.
Okay, cool. You ain't— you safe, right?
Yeah, I'm is. I'm is. I'm is. I done moved my way from out of there.
You hear me?
I'm in the city now.
You hear me? Okay, cool, cool.
I like the accent. So what you gonna be doing tonight?
I'm gonna be giving y'all a little sneak peek of my music. Yeah, I'm gonna—
okay, cool.
You ain't got no beat, right?
Because it's got to be—
no, everything is—
everything, everything, everything official, love.
Yeah, okay.
All right, go ahead, shoot your shot.
Let's go.
All right.
You gotta do it acapella.
You a rapper, right?
Yeah, man.
So you gotta, you gotta rap like this is a cypher.
Oh, all right.
Okay, so now you see what had happened was I would— I had— I was under the interpretation that, um, like, if I had owned copyrights to all my music, you know what I'm saying, if everything was original on my end, I could have pressed play. I could have played y'all my music.
You sure you ain't buy that beat offline?
I brought it, I paid for it.
No, then you can't pay for it because we don't have a license for it. You do. Okay, yeah, you see what I'm saying? All right, so go ahead, come on, give it to us now.
Give it to us.
All right, let's go.
All right, it's something else. I tried to tell your ass how I feel, but you push me away from getting my feelings. I fell in love with your body, your mind, and your smile. I can never compare to these bitches. If you want to go, hit the gate, I ain't tripping. I might as well just go back the trenches. Might as well pick up all of my feelings. I might as well just be done with these bitches. See, I gotta play for that gangster. I hate the curb, po, but you know that I'm stuck in my ways, bitch. I cannot go out like none of your partners. If you wanna spin on me, I ain't what's up.
I cannot go out like, mm-mm.
When I end up taking care of my mothers and brothers, 100 million is the motto. But I remember all them days. I remember all them days. I remember all them days. I remember all them days. Certain shit never change. Tired of dealing with this pain. I will never be the same again. Tired of dealing with this pain. Speak on that, I stand on it.
I—
yeah, yeah, man, thank you, thank you, boss. Yeah, man, a little sneak peek.
All right, all right, so I will do the introduction so nobody—
we will let Shai go first. How you doing, Shai?
Yeah, you probably would have needed a beat because I didn't understand that at all. Um, maybe if it was a beat drop behind it. Can you back up from your camera a little bit, please?
Appreciate you.
Um, yeah, maybe you needed a beat because I, I— it just wasn't hitting. No, it wasn't trash. It's because I would say it was— sure, you know I would say it was trash. Um, yeah, maybe if I heard a beat behind it, maybe I would have like got it, but I really didn't like feel it. Maybe that's why you wanted to play it because we didn't get the full sound of it. Um, which is unfortunate, but I'm going to say yeah because I want to hear you spit something else. I'm gonna say yes because I want to use this something else. Because maybe it was just nerves and no beat.
Yeah, okay.
Yeah, I appreciate it. On my end, it was, you know, on the spot because like I was about to show y'all something different than what I represented, but shit, first thing came to mind was the shit I said.
So, you know, yeah, that's good that you can freestyle on the spot. You ready? Okay, cool. All right, Derek D-Dawg, what's going on?
Okay then, loved one, you know, I know you're down there in New Iberia, you know, you know what I mean? I'm from down that way, you know, I'm a southern boy, you know, so I heard and understood every word you said, you know. I feel like you do got some talent, you know what I'm saying? And so, uh, you know, Sean say yeah, I'm gonna say no. It ain't cause I don't think you cool, I do think you good, but you know, loved one, you know how it is with it. You know, you my round though. You my round, man.
How you gonna sit there and go against the grain at the same time?
Come on, that nigga went against the grain and then said yeah, so I just swooped it back on around, loved one. That's all. Yeah, no, yeah, but I fucks with it though. You're my round.
Yeah, appreciate it.
Appreciate it.
Um, I'm sorry that he sounds like Toya Wright and not like Lil Wayne. You sound like the female, the female type shit. No, uh, uh, voice. It's not giving Frida.
What do you say? What you want to say? Big fan.
All right, okay, kind of, uh, I like—
I couldn't understand what you were saying, but I kind of got where you were going, you know. Um, it's a yes. Shit, who?
Thank you, mofo.
Is just—
I feel like, you know, last week's winner got him being ready to rap on the spot is kind of what got me, you know what I'm saying?
He knew all his words and he kept going, you know what I'm saying?
He got us to bob our heads without the music, you know. It's up to the Winos any damn way. So you— we'll see you at the end of the show.
The Winos will tell you yeah or no, okay?
All right, Mama.
All right, Mama. All right, cool.
What the hell we supposed to do?
Shit, I don't know, but Johnny said he cut the man that was talking like that, and he did his really good thing with the Pirates of the Caribbean, and then y'all let, uh, Chopper City go through.
I ain't like it.
Palette Barbie?
No.
Tatted Barbie? How you doing, Tatted Barbie? Hi. Hi, Tatted Barbie, you okay? I did not know I was next. Okay, okay, so what you doing? You, you moving furniture? I'm doing a— I'm so nervous. I'm doing a poem.
Okay, you ready?
I'm doing a poem. Okay, but your internet messed up a little bit. You can hear me? We can. The internet. Okay, you good? Okay, stay, stay, Tatty Barbie, stay. We good now, we good. Okay, where you from? Cut off your TV and your game.
Unplug it.
Damn, I'm good.
You good, you good, you good.
So what you, what you going to do?
Yes, hold on, the internet stuck. It's going to mess up your performance. Go out and come back in. We'll let you back in, okay? Go make sure everybody in the house turn off the games and the Wi-Fi, okay? Get back. All right, we'll be—
we'll let you back in.
All right, she got the— she got the basic plan for the internet.
She's sharing internet with Sean.
I just moved. She looked— all her stuff put away, all of that. I'm in bags, boxes.
I didn't understand the movement of the furniture. Like, what, what you doing?
I don't know, I don't know. Let me turn my AC on in here for y'all. Think I'm doing too cheap?
They, they nervous about being with you, Tasha.
I know they nervous about being with us. Y'all are a tough fucking crowd.
Who next? Jasmine? Hurricane, come on up in here.
Hurricane, and you asked for me and I appeared.
Yes, ma'am.
How you doing, Hurricane?
Where you from?
I'm in the country, baby. I'm in Alabama.
We can hear the dogs.
Shut up, shut up, boy. He ain't start talking till I started talking to y'all. He was just quiet a minute ago. But yeah, I'm in Alabama and, uh, yeah, it's— I'm gonna tell y'all like this right here. My daughter done psyched me up. I'm gonna go and put that shit out there. My daughter done psyched me up, so I'm gonna just go ahead on and shoot my big goddamn shot. If I make it, I make it. If I don't, I don't.
Okay, okay, cool. Let's go.
Okay. I was born by the river in a little tent, and just like that river, I've been running ever since. It's been a long, a long time coming, and I know A change gonna come, oh yes it is. It's been too—
what? What the hell that supposed to mean?
Is that good or bad?
I'm like, goddamn.
Yeah, that's what I was like, goddamn.
Oh, you know what, don't do that. I told you my daughter psyched me up. Now damn, give me some goddamn credit.
So you're doing— you must have pissed your daughter off. You ain't giving nobody—
you know what, I ain't gave her shit. She told me, Mom, you need to go ahead and shoot your shot, cause I swear I could sing sometime. Maybe if I was in the bathroom, it would have sounded a little better. But you know what, okay, there, you know, say it's your part.
You, you do—
you do— I'm gonna dismiss you. Okay, come on, Sean, I'm ready for you. Come on, Sean, come on, Sean. Come on, Sean. I love you, Sean.
Come on, Sean.
Hurricane, why you saying it like that?
Why you say like, come on, Sean?
Come on, Sean.
Come on, Sean. Come on, Sean.
It was wonderful like this. You sound amazing like this.
Hey, Sean, I love you though.
I ain't gonna even lie. My daughter turned me on to you.
I love you too. And are you and your daughter arguing right now?
No, we're not.
No, we're not. We are not arguing, but we will be after this.
Oh yeah, immediately.
You know what? Oh, I'm sorry, babe.
And then I'd have called friends up and told them to tune in, y'all.
Oh damn, you know what I'm saying?
I'm finna go buy me a pint of liquor and I'm finna just drink my fucking self to sleep because I ain't gonna be able to live this shit down.
I love y'all though. Come on, Tasha, come on. I love you too, babe. Okay, we got to go now.
Now go on in and just, just—
I'm gonna go get drunk.
Tell your daughter you ain't gonna watch her kids for 60 days.
She ain't even got no— she got two fur babies and she might as well keep them on over at the house. I'm done with her.
But I appreciate y'all though.
I think to your daughter's defense, maybe you sing around people and you think maybe you can sing it, so she if you thought you could sing, she wanted you to come and give it a try so you could get other people to tell you that you can't sing.
But you know what, I got to say something to my pastor too, because he told me I could sing. Oh damn, man, the pastor had me all up in front of the church and stuff, in front of the congregation. I done sung and all that.
Quit laughing, Shaw.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Your pastor did that to you?
Oh, you know what, he gonna have to take an account for that.
Yeah, you need to switch churches because you know what, lying.
You know what, I'm gonna go get me a— I'm finna go get me a liter of liquor. I ain't gonna get no pint because that ain't gonna be enough.
Go to your pastor's house, he got it over there.
Don't do that.
Bye, Hurricane. All right, y'all have a good night.
The voice sound like a hurricane.
Yeah, I don't want my son to love me like that.
Did we judge her?
She knew. Sometimes people know.
Sometimes people know.
Oh, they just know.
We didn't even have to say no.
Yeah, yeah, I just looked at it. She said, all right, there, we heard from you.
Beautiful woman, but I think she was a thumb sucker.
Did y'all pick that too?
Jasmine, where Jasmine at? Because Tasha, where Jasmine at? Cuz I want to hang with her though.
The way the roof of the mouth was like that bridge.
Yeah, like—
Taddy Barbie, how you doing, baby? Welcome back. Yeah, messy, I'm back.
So where you from, Taddy Barbie?
Miami. Shout out to Miami. You look like you— my sister, the last time you see her. Girl, I was at your show. Stop. You sure was. I, I remember you now. Mhm. No, you don't. I'm gonna do a poem though. I'm good, my internet good. You good, go ahead, do a poem. You didn't even ask what my poem was called. Latasha, you supposed to introduce it. You already said I didn't know you, so I just shut up. Stop being messy for just a minute. You serious? You asked everybody what's y'all poem about, how— like, you asked a lot of questions. You ain't ask me nothing. My poem is called Cubic Zirconia.
What?
No, that's interesting, girl.
Come on, 5 Star D Club.
Don't— I saw my lips the other day, but I wasn't looking in the mirror. I saw my lips the other day, but they were not on another sister. Didn't they say our lips were big and ugly? I just had to laugh because they learned to recreate our lips in a lab. I saw my hips the other day, but I wasn't looking in the mirror. I saw my lips the other day, and Tasha, they were not on another sister. They talk about our body and our shapes for centuries. They said our hips were wide and all over the place, but I guess they are acceptable when they're on another race. I saw my big black butt the other day, but—
oh shit, I can't blow right now.
Yeah, I saw my butt the other day, but it wasn't on another sister. I saw my— you can go out and purchase our features But you can never say yes.
Okay.
All right, so you only get a minute, and that was powerful. So I'm gonna start with Sean. Go ahead.
I'm extremely turned on right now. Oh, absolutely.
Sean, you know I can't— Tasha, I can cuss right now. No, we've been on long enough.
Use the hard F word, but go ahead.
Sean, you know you a bad thing. Oh yes, you got the attitude of a light-skinned Black woman.
Okay, read. Correct. Now you know they about to drag you for saying that. You know it's about to drag you for saying that.
It is what it is.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, I like you.
Okay, I like you.
I am—
I—
yeah, you're beautiful, you turn me on. Yeah, all around the board. Good delivery. You were actually confident, and what you were saying was hard to say because most people kind of be like shy to say a lot of stuff he was about to say, but you went there. So, uh, at the end I want to finish it because they get crazy.
It get crazy.
Okay, okay, bring it back, bring it back at the end, uh, if you come back to the end. Derek, I know, because you saw her hips. That was a yes for you.
No, listen, I don't— listen, this is a weird date. Sean is turned on and I'm like, man, what the fuck?
Yeah, that's my life.
Sean got turned on and I'm over here scared.
Listen, we're talking about a tatted Barbie.
What, what is your thoughts, man?
Listen here, she saw her hips and her lips and they— what I understand what you're saying. I thought it was a little— it was real aggressive. Like, I think I like the message. That, that was aggressive. That was aggressive.
But you, but you didn't— the thing is, you didn't hear the message because I wasn't able to get into it.
Because no, I heard the message. I know who you talking about. I know who you talking about. And as— oh, she definitely talking about them. She talking about them, the people on Get Out. That's what she saw that day. I know who she talking about. And I can't talk about them with her. But I plan on going on Shay Shay one day. No, no for me. No, no.
Oh, you don't want to hit it in?
Yes, I do. I do want to hit it in. I'm just saying no because I'm gonna go on Club Shay Shay. You want me to sit here and talk about these white women? I'm gonna go around here. I can't do that. Come on.
No, Tatted Barbie, it's a definite yes for me. Fuck him.
Correct. Very gay of you, Derek.
Yes.
What?
Fuck you, Derek.
Y'all is on some other shit. She lowered that damn shirt and I changed my damn attitude.
I can guarantee you that. Tell her to stay in the back room, okay?
I can guarantee you that.
You're like the second gay man that I— that was turned— that said they were turned on by a woman. You know, uh, King Daily Push. Hey guys, he said, quote, this is what he said on his platform today, and I told him he got to come give us an interview because he said—
hold on for a second before we bring the next person up.
Y'all hold on, y'all have got to hear this.
I actually don't.
Yes, he said, I got some pussy, it was good, I'll never let nobody fuck me in my ass again. No shade.
I felt that before. Not the second part, but I felt that before. I mean, I am bisexual. I have children. I was in a 9-year relationship, you know. So I mean, I've never been that gay to not enjoy a woman like Derek, because you could say yes to her.
Oh, shots fired. I'm gonna exit the conversation while they do this out real quick.
You're giving rainbow today, bro. You're giving rainbow.
Hey, Sean, just because you dress like, like you're a menace to society don't mean that you really are.
What it don't mean?
It means you dress like an extra for Dead Presidents.
To his defense, he is just a little bit more in shape than you, and he's taller than you, so I would just—
who? Who?
Toya Wright, calm down.
Correct.
No, no, Freddie. Freddie is up next. You got to be on our best behavior.
People are watching us backstage. Uh, Freddie, Freddie, if you ready. How you doing, Freddie?
Good.
Thank you for having me, Tasha, Derek, Sean.
Thank you.
Freddie look like a big teddy bear. Can we just call you Teddy?
You can call me whatever you want. Okay, okay then, Fred.
All right, so you're a singer. Where you from?
Cleveland, Ohio. All right, folk music. Okay, Cleveland.
All right, you got any women in the basement?
No, not, not currently.
Oh, sing, uh, Teddy. Go ahead and sing, Daddy.
Okay, I want to sing a piece of Tamla Mann, uh, Take Me to the King.
Oh, see, look at me, I got to clean my spirit now.
Take me to the king, I don't have much to bring.
My heart is torn to pieces, it's my offering. Lay me at the throne. Leave me there alone to gaze upon your glory, to sing you this song.
Take me to the king.
I think, uh, room service, uh, has you a little distracted, but hold on for you give your thoughts.
Oh, I heard him.
Wait a minute, Sean.
Very nice looking guy, handsome guy.
Thank you.
Nice basket behind you. But the voice was atrocious, and I think you know that.
I do.
I—
these two would just want to come hang out with us because that was terrible.
Can I say something? Can I, can I sing original?
An original?
Yeah.
Can I sing one?
Like in a male bravado?
Yeah, I'll sing it. Let me see. It's called Don't Fall Off.
All right, you got, you got, you got 15 seconds. Let's go.
Hey boy, I'm in town.
Had my ups, I've had my downs. Got myself turned around, now I'm back on solid ground. On my horse once again, okay, and I'll ride it to the end.
Okay, all right. Was that a country song?
Yes, ma'am.
I seen folk. Oh, okay, okay, okay, cool.
Damn, my cousin ripped folk.
Wait a minute, Sean, what was your answer?
Yes or no?
Still hell no. Absolutely not. Uh, no. Again, nice guy, seems like you have a great personality, but it's still gonna be a no for me, um, because if that was the country song, I was expecting to hear a little bit more of this.
If that's what we're going to be doing.
But it didn't sound like that right there, so, um, yeah, no from me. But again, great personality.
Thank you, Derek.
I think you came on here bullshitting, Fred. I think that you came on here knowing damn well what was gonna happen today. I think you watched the last 2 weeks and said, you know what, I need to get dragged. I think that's exactly what you did. Well, welcome to the motherfucking show, Fred.
Uh, let me, let me drag you.
We're not gonna take you to the king, we're gonna take your ass back to the audience. That's what we taking you to, you understand me? You might get took into the king, but you got to go somewhere else to do it. I, I believe that I'm the king around here and it's the king's court. And Fred, I'm gonna have to go on and tell you, Fred is dead. You look like Keith Washington though. That's my homeboy. You look like Keith Washington, the singer. Yeah, but you damn sure don't sound like him.
Fair enough.
Okay, but I'm fools with you though.
Excuse me, they don't know how to behave around attractive men, you know. All right, right.
You know, they don't—
y'all gotta be on y'all best behavior, okay?
Now, you know what, I'm gonna spray some spray because y'all hating today.
That's my hater spray. Mr. Teddy—
I'm sorry, I mean Freddie, if you're ready. Uh, listen, um, I, I was a little shocked because I expected, you know, with all that teddy bear-ness you got going on, I expected a heavier voice to come out. I was not expecting, you know, I don't know, washing a car and singing a song while you was washing a car. Oh yeah, like, you know, do you really sing though?
Like, you're a singer?
Oh yeah, yeah, I was, uh, I've been singing since I left the Army. I'm an Army vet and I've been singing a long time, lots of music. Freddie Plays Guitar, it's my Instagram.
Okay, well, listen, I got another job for you.
Are you single?
I'm not.
Oh damn, okay. I was gonna have you audition for our dating show, but I tried.
So the answer is no.
Yes, Tasha, before he goes, before he goes, do you know what Fred is giving? I just figured it out. He's giving the character on Martin. Ma'am, can I sing my song? Ma'am, but I want to sing my song.
He is giving Gerald Levert. Stop.
Don't you know no good.
He is giving Gerald Levert. Stop, Fred. I'm sorry. Bye, Fred. Who next, Jasmine? Damn it.
Ma'am, can I sing my song?
That's what he was looking—
I want to know where Beyoncé got everybody out here thinking they can sing country.
Yeah, he was singing to a boy.
JLo, come on! Hello, how you doing? I'm fantastic, how are you? I'm doing great. So where are you calling from?
I'm calling from Miramar, Florida.
Okay, I like your hair.
Thank you, that's my style right there. Yeah, I'm just too lazy to do mine. Okay, so what are you gonna be doing today?
I'm gonna do some comedy.
Okay, all right, cool. We got the comedy coach here at the bottom. I see, you know.
All right, cool. He said yes to all the comedians, so you— oh, it doesn't—
yes.
Okay, yeah, yeah. Okay, cool.
So go ahead, go ahead, shoot the shot.
All right. So with all these terrorists going on in China, I know one wig that's about to make the comeback. Y'all remember that synthetic-ass wig, that dry-ass wig with two straps on the back? Y'all, you know, Sean, you know, Derek, you know, because your auntie had one. And Tasha, you probably wore one. Now when you— when that strap get loose, bitch, if you lean to the side, that shit gonna fall off your fucking head.
You hear me?
You hear me? So how I know 'Cause I had one. So before y'all get to talking and cackling, bitch, I used to wear a motherfucking wig. And let me tell you something, when them straps got loose, I decided to tie it from the motherfucking back, bitch. And guess what, bitch? When I moved, bitch, that wig motherfucking moved. And when I ran, bitch, that wig motherfucking ran.
You hear me?
But one thing I hated about that shit, I was working in an environment that was strictly Hispanic. Okay, and maybe 2 or 3 Black people. Not one of them motherfuckers ever came and told me about that goddamn wig. Not one of them. Only the Spanish lady. The Spanish lady, mamita, mamita, what's going on? Are you okay?
What is wrong with your peluca?
Okay, all right, all right, Miss G-Lo, thank you so much. All right, thank you. All right, uh, Derek, we'll start with the comedian coach, the comedy coach.
G-Lo, so, uh, one, I love your energy.
Thank you.
Uh, one of the things that I teach people is whenever they first get on stage is to smile. You came in smiling. Usually when you smile, people smile back at you. Uh, I did something this weekend. I recorded my set— well, the improv did it for me— and when I heard it back, I saw all the changes that I should be making. I'm gonna give them to you in real time, and then I'm gonna also ask that you would record yourself the next time you hear yourself, and that way you'll know. Way too many curse words for it to be just 1 minute. Just way too many. Hey, listen, and I'm a curser. Cursing don't bother me, but it was so overwhelming that it takes away from the jokes. The joke needs to be funny without the cursing. Again, I curse a lot, so only because I think you could use some improvement. But if you just go and listen to yourself, I think you— I think you're funny. It's a no only just for— just for not today, but that ain't a no to you and who you are. I think you could be great. Record yourself, listen to yourself, and see how you sound as far as cursing. And it could be this moment, but it's just too much in one minute.
For comedy classes, Derek, comedy coaching, do you charge?
Yeah, I mean, I, I coach a lot of people. The guy I'm with this weekend, I, I'm, uh, I've coached.
So coaching court, maybe we should work on that for you so you can take the comedians under your wing and do—
I would love to, because I would love to, because it's a lot that comics just don't know. It's just natural stuff.
But you got time to know it right now. So your answer, no?
He said yes.
It's no. Okay.
All right, Sean.
I disagree with the cursing. I think that cursing is great. People like Monique and so many others back in the day, in the comedy sense, I think that they did a lot of swearing. And I think what the issue that came in with the swearing is that it didn't necessarily like align with what you were saying. So like, I thought a lot of like bees and stuff like that wasn't necessarily like necessary, um, within that moment. And I feel like it was a lot of— the cursing made it harder for us to get to the joke because, you know, we— but because I curse a lot, you know, but I did learn how to tone it down like in my commentary and stuff that I do because it is hard not swear sometimes. But I think overall good energy. I mean, you were ready to go, you know, all that good stuff. So, um, yeah, I'm gonna say no.
Okay, you did all that just to say no?
What?
I love her energy.
I'm gonna have to agree. Your energy is there, your look is there. I love your look. Um, that's one of the first things that caught me, like, because, you know, I love a good mohawk. You know, I started my channel with my mohawk, and I want to grow it back but I'm too lazy. The skin is flawless. The smile is great. The energy's there. It was just the jokes need a lot more development. And it was a lot of cursing. It kind of gave Mo'Nique's latest Netflix deal when they gave her all that money and she— I got you.
Yeah.
I was like, I ain't never seen nobody curse that much and sweat so much from cursing because she wasn't telling no jokes. All I heard was, I want to eat pussy. That's all I heard. That's the only joke I heard, right? Okay, but it's gonna be a no for now. But what we will do is we will have Derek, uh, you know, create a little Zoom university course, and he'll take you guys under his wing and, and coach y'all the same way he do like 85 South, Earthquake, all these big names. Yeah, thank you. Okay, cool. No problem.
We'll see you next time.
So pretty.
She's so gorgeous.
Riches.
She's got like a glow to her, you know what I mean? Like, it's like a— it's a glow. Derek, it was a lot. That was— that was a lot of damn cursing, and I curse a lot. It was overwhelming. It was like, if you like salt on your food, you don't want nobody to dump it, you know what I mean?
Cash and Troy. Tasha gonna stop cooking. It's Faith, Cash, and Troy.
Tasha, how you doing?
Oh, thank you, Troy.
How you doing, Derek? How you doing?
I'm from Southeast Washington, DC. Okay, Southeast Washington, DC. All right, so what you gonna be doing today, singing?
Actually, I am going to be singing.
I'm actually singing one of my songs written by me, Faith Castor, Troy Newspeak, called The One for Me.
All right, I'm expecting some Gerald LeBert now, some, some burnt, uh, uh, what's his name, uh, Barry White. Let's Go! All right, that's what they call me. Tonight I'ma shower you with my love, confessing to you how I feel. So let my words touch you in every single way you need.
Open your mind and let me feed you.
Your heart is close to My soul, passion towards our destiny, maybe I need you to know. Intense and closely, savor our lips, the speculation, the mention of them. Damn hips, of your love that quenches all the energies in me, to feel your senses sensual touch. Modify all your needs.
Okay, uh, Sean, now you know you too damn big and I have came in here blowing like you were supposed to. It is a lot of air in you, okay? So I just knew you was about to come up here and just get out, giving us some Reuben Studdard. This is all sorry for 2004. And you came here, you was really breathy, which I understand because you're a little teapot. But I mean, I get that. But at the same time, I was really expecting you to like blow me out of the box, you know, like in the Little Pig story when they blew the house down. I expected that, and I really did not get that. And that is very unfortunate. Okay, I'm not gonna say you're talented. There is a little voice It just didn't come out the big box, so I'm going to have to—
but I can look.
You're a little distorted.
Yeah, you're distorted.
Can you hear me?
Yeah, it's just breaking up.
It's breaking up. All right, Sean—
I mean, Derek.
So this is your shot. Is it yes or no?
No. All right, mute yourself for a second. Hey, Pastor Troy.
Yeah, there you go, mute yourself. But listen here, I'm glad that you were singing, brother. Let me tell you something, you done sat your big ass up there and started sweating. And for the fact that you sweating, boy, you ain't gonna have to sweat and wait on my answer. It's a yes. Let me tell you something, for you to sing an original piece— you sung an original song, man. See, it's easy to sing somebody else's music. I'm a fan of Gregory Porter. You giving me Gregory Porter vibes, man. Let me tell you something, you bring you and your cholesterol back over here again. Tasha, tell him what you think. Give me yes, Tasha.
I apologize for all the fat jokes.
Fake.
Oh, I ain't no fat jokes.
I got a minute because I'm gonna say he's the big pig. Yep, yep.
What the fuck is that?
I am so embarrassed. Faye Castor Troy. First of all, I mean, where did you get your name from? I just want to know. What— why did you name yourself Faye Castor Troy? Unmute yourself. Unmute yourself. Unmute yourself.
Can you hear me?
Yeah, real quick, fast.
Being the dual person that I am, I'm a writer, I'm a singer, I do a lot of things.
This, uh, That's the new one.
So that's what it is, casting towards the dual person, half and half.
One is half, you want to use it, surprise people. Okay, it's, it's, it's messed up.
So it's— I got it though, I got it. It don't make no damn sense, but okay. Um, I thought she was doing comedy at first with the fake Castor Troy because, you know, I thought he was saying fake Pastor Troy. That's what I first got. I thought it was comedy. I didn't, and then, you know I don't know, forgive me. Um, I did expect a bigger voice to come out of you. Um, I was like I said, some Gerald White, you know, you know what's— God damn it, I can't even think of his name. Luther Vandross, Gerald LeVert, Barry White, Luther Vandross. Um, it was an original piece. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. But because the winos in the chat like you, I'm gonna send you through. No problem. We'll see. But hey, listen, listen, if you want to perform You're gonna have to come back out and come back in and make sure that internet is working because that internet is horrible right now, okay? And get you a towel for your sweat. You a big guy, you got to keep one now, correct? All right, all right, bye, fake Caster Troy.
What does his name got to do with anything?
Well, listen, if you watch the movie Face/Off, he said it's half and half. Caster Troy, that was the character with, uh, that was, uh, forget the two people, but it was a good movie. Face/Off. John Travolta and Nicholas Cage.
For his singing, man.
He said he do all that. He sang, he cooked briskets.
Uh, he can have two names.
He decides the two people.
Maury, he said he can have two names. He's the size of two motherfuckers. Maurice, get your ass on up in here.
Come on now.
I'm here. What's going on?
What's up, Maurice Ticket?
Where you from?
I'm from Philly, but I'm out here in Texas right now.
All right, shout out to Philly. So who you repping, Philly?
Yeah, for sure.
Okay, cool. Don't let nobody catch you out in Texas slipping now.
Oh no, they ain't gonna catch me.
So what you gonna be doing today?
I'm gonna rap for y'all.
Okay, you're gonna do some Meek Mill. All right, what you going— is it an original piece or are you gonna—
of course.
Yeah, I ain't, I ain't doing nobody else though.
All right, cool, go ahead.
All right, can you see my crazy sexy cool no T vibes? Left eye chili, put your shades on. Going down Drew Hill, Black Street, saying gone. Before we say goodnight, can I get a kiss? Then can I get another one? That's all the remix. No Diddy, no Diggy, no doubt, that's Teddy. R&B smooth and I made sure I'm ready. Phoenix, Jodeci, notice me, I'm not leaving. Pretty red lips, I had Trey Songz singing. Tender kisses, that's Tracy Spencer. You speaking low and I hear your whispers, we in the mood. Can you stand the rain? You know what this your boo, you know I'm not the same. I know I got you out late, my bad. Tony, Tony, Tony, baby, on I ask of you, make it last forever. That's Keith Sweat with my Alicia Keys. You keep your secrets, ladies say my name because you're my Destiny's Child. Giving you the best that I got, Anita Baker. Let's chill, that's Keith again. You playing games, but I bet you'll risk it away. Got one shot from the buzzer, it's a 3 again. The buzzer is on, you want the phone call to your friends. The adrenaline's strong, the game's gonna go to the end, and I feel the same estranged that we both pretend that we chilling. When I done messed around and caught feelings, I done messed around and caught feelings.
Damn.
All right, all right, all right. Philly in the building.
Uh, I'm gonna tell you right now, man, Philly in the building, all right? I think you a little way too laid back. You so fucking cocky. This mother— no, hey, nigga, nah, nigga, you cocky. Hey, listen, it's a difference in being out— this nigga cocky. The nigga just— you so cool with the— you're good, we know that, you know that. But man, listen, Give something to— like, it's like you knew you was going on to the next round. It's a yes for me because you are talented. Damn, don't be so goddamn cocky, Dot. This nigga cocky than a motherfucker. But yes, brother. Yes, brother.
Yes, Sean, Davey Way.
Correct. Um, so yeah, I would expect him to be cocky too and to be able to rap. I mean, you are like 100, so I mean, your flow should be like completely, um, down at this point. You are overly cocky, I will say that. Um, I'm gonna say yes because you're talented. You are talented. Hopefully those are your bars, but you are a talented person, so I'm not gonna say you're not because you are. But I do want to— can you freestyle?
Not right now.
Are you a freestyler? Yeah, I can.
Yeah.
Okay, so if you come back, I would love to hear you freestyle. Like if, if, you know, you want to.
I mean, it's too— yeah, it's too—
yeah, though, because that's not written.
So is it a yes or no? I'm gonna say yes. Yeah, yeah, I liked it.
I really do. You know, my husband watching the show, I like you too, but you know, yeah.
Hey man, hey Maurice, don't you freestyle when you come back. You trying to win. Don't you freestyle. I don't get it.
Try.
I won't be on on no flight to Philly.
Why he can't freestyle, son?
He trying to win, man. That nigga lie with the freestyling, it don't go right. He better do something written. Ain't nobody else freestyling no damn song. I bet you won't nobody freestyle no song.
I'm just trying to stay married.
I'm just trying to stay married.
I've been married 19 years in July. God is good. God is good. When he send demons like that that, you know.
Teddy is next. Tay, Tay is next. Hi, Tay.
Hey, what's going on?
How you feeling?
I'm great, Tay. And where you from?
Um, I'm from Chicago, but I currently live in Georgia.
Okay, where you at? Atlanta? Hotlanta?
Oh no, I'm like 20 minutes from—
that's why I ain't even rep Atlanta.
I'm in Austell.
That's Atlanta anyway.
Listen, Listen, all right, cool. So welcome, uh, uh, well, welcome to Shoot Your Shot.
What you gonna be doing today?
I'm gonna sing today.
Okay, cool.
What you gonna be singing?
Uh, I'm gonna do a little bit of Usher, Nice and Slow.
Oh, okay.
All right, that's a, that's a hard song to sing, so give it a shoot your shot.
All right.
Driving around town, contemplating whether I'm gonna lay it down. Whoa. So let me take you to a place that's nice and quiet. There ain't no one there to interrupt. Ain't got a rush. I just wanna take it nice and slow. See, I've been waiting for this for so long. We making love until the sun comes up, baby. I just wanna take it nice and slow. Yeah, yeah. Now tell me, do you wanna get freaky? Yeah, what? I freak you right out with— I freak you right out with I feel like no one has ever, ever made you feel—
Derek, you got a little excited, bro.
He was doing good.
I appreciate it.
He started saying he was gonna freak you right out, Will. You got—
No, no, listen, man. Hey, listen, let me explain something to y'all. Let me explain something to y'all. I jam the music the way I'ma jam the music. It ain't— it ain't got shit to do with him. They did like jamming music.
So you would let—
fuck no. Listen here, I beat you, I beat the shit out of you. You try to offer me a cherry? Take, take— couldn't take. No, hell no. This low-budget Anthony Hamilton better not ever bring no goddamn cherry over here to me. You see, you see, you starting stuff, Tasha.
You starting stuff.
She did take— because I wasn't even going there today. That's why I gotta get on so my budget could come here so I could be up there with Anthony Hamilton. I'll take that shit. You took the struggle beard off, but you got the chew man food, so you, you know, it is what it is. What is your thoughts now since, since, since this nigga feeding me cherries? No, fuck is you doing?
Stop doing that.
No, no, no, I, I tell you, I think you can sing, brother.
Uh, I appreciate it.
I think for the day, see, this is why the fuck— hey, answer is no. Latasha on that bullshit.
The first yes.
Okay, John, what's your answer?
I think that you can sing, but there is a lot of over-singing.
Thank you, child.
There, there is. I feel that there's at some point in time when the— when the audience hears you sing and you were singing like popular songs like Nice and Slow by Usher, they're going to be listening in their mind, they're going to judge you based off of exactly what he sounds like. Not that you have to sound exactly like him, you definitely get to sing it your own way, but at the same time, like when you are using breaths for parts that you don't need to be using breaths for— because you do have a great voice, you do, you can sing, I'm not going to say you can't sing, like I'm no hater. Yeah, but it was breathy and there was a lot of like overruns and stuff like that. I just feel like necessary. So I would like to hear you again though. I would like to hear you. Okay, I'm gonna say yes.
Yeah, thank you.
Appreciate it.
You got two yeses, which means you don't need me. Um, I did think you were over-singing. It is one of my favorite songs. I was expecting you to hit the high note, but you went— you stayed cool alto the whole time. So you kind of— it kind of let me down in that part, but Um, it'll be a half yes for me because you didn't do my high note.
Okay, I'll take it.
Okay, we'll see you at the end of the show. Stay backstage, okay?
Absolutely, appreciate it.
All right, no problem.
Derek, let me help you out with something. Derek don't want no boys. Hey, listen, Derek don't want no boys.
It's okay. What's wrong with boys?
I just don't Hey man, to each his own. Derek just don't do boys. It ain't shit about it, right? It's the song. It ain't that nigga. It's the goddamn— I like the song.
The fuck?
Listen, if Tasha— if you don't put your titties up, put them up.
Who next? Jasmine? Keidra, come on in here.
Keidra, where you from? Hey y'all.
Hey Keidra.
After the show, you just wait till after the show. I'm gonna cut your ass. Hey, Keisha, how you doing? I'm good. How y'all doing? Fantastic. Where you calling from?
Detroit.
Shout out to Detroit.
Y'all, y'all talented up there in Detroit, and y'all can fight and rob too. So you be robbing?
I like—
she keeps it real. I ride with you, girl. I ride with you.
Okay, listen.
What, uh, which song you gonna be singing tonight? You singing Church Bells by Etta James? Okay, cool. Go ahead, girl. All right.
I heard church bells ringing. Yes, I heard a choir singing. I, I I saw my love walk down the aisle. On her finger, he placed a ring. And oh, oh, I saw them holding hands. Yeah, she was standing there with my man. I heard a promise, till death do us part, and each word, it was a pain in my heart.
Yes. Okay, okay, okay.
All right, all right, let's start with Sean.
She was phenomenal.
Thank you.
Phenomenal. You were on your— you know you can sing though. That's the thing about you. You know you can sing. You know you can, and you can. Beautiful, great delivery. You didn't oversing the song, you didn't undersing the song. You stayed in your key. You didn't try to like combat Etta. You sung it how Keitra sings it instead of Etta.
I loved it.
I loved it.
Yes, yes.
Yes, thank you. All right, Derek.
Keidra, before I go on, I'd like— okay, hey, Tasha, I swear to God, I'm gonna spin that shirt my damn self.
Why you didn't do that when she was saying what she was saying?
Let me— I got a reason why. I'm gonna tell you in just a second. Hey, do me a favor, let me see your hands. Yeah, I like to see your hands.
Oh my God.
Okay, move your hair like this. Do your hair like this. Dude, let me see your throat.
What?
It's a yes for me. It's a yes for me.
Oh my—
oh, I thought he was telling me to do that.
No, no, Tasha ain't talking to me.
I'm talking to Keedra.
Why do you want to see her throat?
You want to make sure she wasn't a man.
Them people is good at making sure that they— hey, them people is damn good at hiding.
If she was a man, you would say no?
Yeah, yeah, I need to see your hands.
I'm gonna get you, I'm finna get you because ain't no Adam's apple. So ain't Marcella was a man before?
Hey, hey, fool me once, shame on you. Hey, Tasha, Tasha, fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, that lady you was looking at— No, no, I wasn't looking at cornbread and cooking.
No, that was you. So listen, if you can sing, I wouldn't have said—
Marcela, I don't give a damn what you are. Marcela can sing her ass off.
So let me help you with this.
She can't.
Let me help you with this. If, if, if, uh, Keedra was a man, I still would have said yes. The motherfucker can sing. Now here's it— I would, I would have definitely, uh, made sure I didn't flirt. That's what I That's what I'm making sure of.
But right now, how they get caught up is when they be flirting and don't ask. So you got a tendency to flirt and don't ask?
No, no, because—
hey, is it a yes or no?
It's a hell yes. I heard nobody.
And you are not being voted, and you are not up for $300, sir.
You get your check regardless. Okay, okay, okay. We didn't ask you to sing, nor do we ever want you to sing.
Sorry.
Hey, Keidra, Keidra, you did your big one, girl.
Keidra, girl, you gave me very much like when Tyler Perry used to have, you know, his stage plays, and he would have the singers singing their ass off on stage. Um, and I could see you holding right, right next to Miss, uh, Tamela Mann. Yes, ma'am. I can see you doing Dreamgirls. You got it. Yes, you do. You gave me chills when you opened up, so you keep— you keep singing and robbing people. Yes, ma'am.
Yes.
Shout out to Detroit. Okay, what up though?
Backstage. Stay backstage.
Okay, we gotta get our other host back. His internet done got cut off using them people internet.
That woman is pretty, and she can— she can just sing. Like, I want to hear her do an original piece though, because if she's a composer, like, yo, I love to hear people do their own music. Like, I want to know what you got, but that was a good choice to get to that second round. That's a great choice.
Yeah, I think she's gorgeous.
Yeah, she could have sung any damn thing, got to the second round.
Yeah, she was absolutely— she was amazing. She was amazing. Shout out to her. Um, where is Sean J? Uh, Jasmine? Okay, you got him back right now. He gonna— Sean, when the internet— when the internet, uh, company coming, Sean, to turn on your internet?

Why every sip that I take of this water tastes like the Georgia Peach body oil that I have on. It smells like Georgia Peach. I pretty— this is a sponsor of mine, The Sugar Case. She sponsors all of our shows, and every time I drink it, I'm like, why does this smell like I'm drinking peaches?
Because it's on your hand.
It's on my hand, but it smells so good. It's on shoptkdeals.com.
That's a good way to start drinking your water. Put it on your hands and then when you drink, you smell it.
Oh yeah, listen, that shit was—
I was like, why am I feel like I'm drinking flavored peach water?
Oh, that's good.
Okay, who's, who's next? Aisha, you are the girl! Hey, how you doing, Mama?
Good, how are y'all?
Oh my goodness, where you, where you calling Where are you from?
I am in North Carolina. Shout out to North Carolina. And what you gonna be doing today? Um, Jill Scott is my favorite artist. I'm from Philly, so I figured I'd do a little Jill Scott. Okay, cool. Jill Scott it is. Let's go.
You love me, it's specially different every time you keep me On my feet happily, excited by your cologne, your hands, your smile, your intelligence. You caught me, you woo me, you tease me, you please me, you school me, give me some things to think about, ignite me. You ain't buying me.
All right, Aisha, we'll start with Sean before his internet go out again.
Sean look like you broadcasting live from jail, girl.
Look like you making ramen noodles in the toilet.
That county Wi-Fi is a fool.
Yes.
What's your answer? Did you hear Sean? Do that?
I heard her, Tasha.
Okay, we can't hear you. You can't hear me.
It's coming in and out.
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me now? A little bit. Okay, go ahead.
You can't hear me. Okay, can you hear me now?
Yes. Go, go, go, go, go, go.
I did hear you, and from what I heard, it wasn't bad, but it was a little breathy, but it was okay. It's gonna be a no for me, but keep singing.
Thank you.
Okay, Derek, man, I love Jill Scott, and right now, Aisha, I love you. Let me tell you, Aisha, oh child, listen, you are, uh, yeah, I did I didn't necessarily think that you would sound the way that you do, but it's like different from your, uh, speaking voice. And because I absolutely love that song and I love the way you sang it for you.
Thank you.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Thank you. You didn't ask if she was a man?
No.
I'm done flirting with anybody on this goddamn show. I'll tell you this much, if anybody flirt with me, I'm gonna walk off.
It's gonna be a scandal and I'm gonna report on that shit, which is why my black ass ain't flirting with nobody else. We're gonna have it circulating. Yeah. All right, Aisha, I think you're absolutely gorgeous and I, I love your voice. I love the sultry soulfulness of it. Um, so it's definitely yes for me. I don't have anything. Thank you. So stay around to the end of the show and, uh, be ready to perform again for the winos because the winos will be voting for you guys. Okay, thank you so much. I appreciate it. All right, no problem.
We got 12 minutes, 12 minutes before we start the voting. Okay, so that—
what most people in jail usually are not friendly, and I think that's what was wrong with Sean. This nigga's locked up and he's trying to act like he's not. That's why he went away. The CO came around. We know what you're doing, Sean. Just tell us, we'll bail you out.
You need some bail money, Sean.
Yes, you literally live out of your suitcase.
I'm always in a hotel. He ain't lying.
You don't have a home.
You homeless.
Yes, we can't hear you, Sean.
Let Sean come back out and come again.
That jail Wi-Fi is a fool. Get the password from your CO.
Come back out and come back in. Yeah, give it a second, Jazz, before we bring the other people.
John locked up with that dude to say, I like you and I want you.
We can do it the easy way or the hard way.
That's The Boondocks, girl. Everybody know about that.
That's how everybody—
you know what's so funny? I'm ashamed to say this. The only cartoon that I ever watched was Ren and Stimpy.
What?
I know, they were just so gross.
Clearly you like gross because you over there looking at that Philly Young Bull. Ain't that what they calling me? Philly, that Young Bull. Come on. I'm trying to stay married. I'm trying to stay married.
I don't put myself in situations that can compromise my marriage. There's a lot of temptation out here.
Faison said you wanted him.
Tell Faison I can't cook.
He will order it, trust me.
I heard, because I heard he orders girls. This ain't the— this ain't the Oh Why with Tasha K gossip segment.
My homeboy don't order no girls. You order food.
Use a lie. Him and Tay Diggs got the same dealer.
Nah, not my homeboy, man. They listen— we're not doing that. No, you don't order no girls. No, you don't want a girl. The girl, look what it is. Let me, let me explain it to you.
So whenever you order Chinese food and the girls—
yeah, what you do? What you listen?
Okay, how y'all do it on the road? How do you order pussy on the road?
I've never ordered.
I've never—
you know who you talking to there, Tasha?
I never order.
No, it's okay.
I never ordered.
Who is that?
Nobody. I've never ordered a girl. Never ordered anybody.
Tell FaceTime we just playing. Tell FaceTime we just playing.
That's—
we talk about those things on our Friday show. Yeah, no, listen, uh, today's Thursday.
He called me yesterday and talked about how much fun he had. He was like, dog, and listen, I had so many people against me because of Renee. Latasha. Oh, that Renee, she got a— she got a following.
I heard, I heard she do movies and shit too.
Tasha, listen, some people, you— and I— they can't be following her because of her talent. That can't be it. I'm not, I'm not hating on that woman. I don't think she was funny as hell when she started roasting me though. That was funny. I got to give you props where it's at.
With no teeth in her mouth, she—
and did a good— because anybody that can do a roast with no teeth, you don't need no teeth for this beef.
Who's next? Jasmine.
Just K. Welcome back, Sean.
Hey, how you doing?
I'm good. How you doing? Just Music Beats.
Okay, that's K Music. How you doing?
I'm good.
Just K Music.
They call me Justin.
Okay, shout out to Charlotte.
Everybody, Wi-Fi ain't working. Oh, I thought that was me again.
I mean, you are looking a little blurry down there. You'll see the playback, you're gonna be like, damn.
Hey, Tasha, Tasha, this dude and Sean was supposed to be locked up for the same crime. They just ain't got him yet.
Who's next, Jasmine? We got a lot of big dudes in here tonight.
That's right, I called them all and said, let's go, fellas.
I should have had some oxtails prepared.
We—
I fed them.
Lady Shabazz, come on.
Lady Shabazz, how you doing?
Your mute— your mic is off. Your mic is off. Unmute yourself.
Unmute yourself, Shabazz.
I thought I did. My bad, I'm sorry. Yeah, how you doing? Hey, where you from?
Oh boy, I'm from Charleston, South Carolina, but I'm in the Atlanta area now.
Okay, cool.
Shout out to ATL. Okay, don't catch nothing while you down there. Listen, um, what you gonna be doing tonight?
Your internet, your internet. That lady, she bad. What is the problem with the people tonight?
The spirit of bad Wi-Fi in here.
He did. Who next, Jasmine? Damn, everybody upgrade y'all internet.
Sean, Sean, I'm done.
Who next?
Next, I'm gonna quit.
You're my brother, though.
We all we got.
Come on, let's go! We got to get some— as many people as we can in here. We got 7 minutes, let's go! 7 minutes. David, Devin, come on in here. Devin, how you doing?
Unmute yourself. My bad.
It's okay. How you doing? I'm good. How y'all doing?
What you gonna be doing tonight?
I got a poem.
I got a poem, but you said I got 7 minutes left. I think the poem about a good 2 minutes.
Is that okay? You got a minute.
Okay, cut me off when you ready. If I don't get to the point, then let me know.
What's the name of your poem?
It's called Niggas Ain't Shit.
Oh well, goddamn.
You might want to hear the whole thing. It's okay, I'm gonna do it.
All right, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
As underdeveloped, oblivious, naive ears are subjected to the bullshit portrayed by overdeveloped, oblivious, naive older sisters, one can easily comprehend the extent to which perpetual ignorance is passed down from generation to generation. Phone slams, she screams, "Niggas ain't shit!" And before those 4 syllables could permeate through heavily polluted ears of her city, they fall upon those same underdeveloped, oblivious, naive ears of her younger sister from another mister who had a mother that had a great-great-great-great-grandmother that had a master that taught her that disrespecting, downplaying, and degrading our Black brothers would forever be a part of our existence. That no efforts of this would ever be sufficient. But the fact of the matter is that a lot of brothers are very proficient. So excuse my persistence as I use my verbal equipment to drive home the fact that back in the day, niggas weren't shit to the masses. So nowadays, niggas ain't shit to the masses. Historically bound and broken down in front of Black families.
Don't blow that. No, let her keep going. Keep going.
Historically broken down in front of Black families to prove a point that the Black family was created to be a disaster. Over-exaggerated chronological stories of Black American families causing families to deteriorate fast. Master. So now you say niggas ain't shit?
Fuck you mean?
You could have been his queen together, ready and heavily armed to use your conjoined Black power to go blast right into the face of the deceived for your message to be received by attentive, underdeveloped, oblivious, naive ears sitting in silence awaiting guidance, ready to act on the information passed down to them as evidence. But see, your experiences are not relevant. But unfortunately, they are becoming more and more prevalent. See, because you broken got the emotional brothers intentionally dumbing themselves down, fearful of showing too much sentiment. So now to you, your man can never vent because you're too busy putting him down in front of others like heavyweights at overcrowded gyms, repetitiously being used to your benefit. Baby girl, please, please understand that these 4 syllables simultaneously tighten the psychological constraints on our mentality while causing future generations to become accustomed to good brother brutality. So please just Learn to avoid comments to that totality, because if all niggas ain't shit, then what is your brother? Now grown to think and aspire to be like others, preparing for war in the battle with no victor, fighting for his life to be a positive picture. So you still say all niggas ain't shit? Girl, get a clue, because if that's the case, then what the hell are you?
That's that piece. I just had to let you finish.
Like, I was like, I had my fork with me, but I, I tapped to that too. I appreciate that.
Thank you.
No problem, no problem. So, um, looks like we're gonna have a poet opening up our show. So what I may have to do is, because we got two poets, I'm gonna make them compete when we got a third one. You see what I'm saying? So when we get a third one, we'll bring back a later show and bring back all three of y'all and let y'all compete. Like, we got to get all the poets together. So don't worry, I'm gonna get with casting on that.
Okay, I like that.
I like that.
Yeah, so right now, man, like, this is hard because even the other girl, the tatted Barbie, was, uh, the poet. She's a poet. Like, I gotta People sleep on the poets, man.
They sleep.
Well, listen, good thing about shows, because I know a lot of people was like, oh my God, like, it, it doesn't have a budget behind it. It's because we wanted it to grow into what it grows into. Nobody starts such a new YouTube channel like Michelle Obama when everything is just on top. You let it grow and evolve, just like our channels grew and evolved, Sean, and then you perfected as it goes. And so I personally think that you and Tatted Barbie should come back at a later show when we got another poet and then y'all can face off and we bring back Born to Speak too. I'm with it. What y'all think?
She's the winner to me. This poem, I get it. Like, yo, yo, no, no, no, I get it. Hey, listen, I, I like the other ones, but nah, she— this was, uh, man, the title and then the flip of the message.
Oh, hell yeah, it's a yes for me. Sean?
It's definitely— yes, you call the audience bitches. I would take for it.
Listen, in a nice—
in a nice way.
We like Derek.
Yes, it ain't nothing else to say. Just—
yes.
Yeah, Casting, but you're not gonna compete for the $300 tonight. You're gonna compete at a later show. Jasmine, can you get, uh, Casting to get Born to Speak, to get Tatted Barbie, and to get— there was one more too that we had on. I gotta go back and watch the episode too. And, um, uh, Devin, and we're gonna do a poetry face-off. Okay, I gotta get me a poet to open up the show.
Let's do it, Tasha.
All right, cool, that's dope. Yeah, we bringing back Black art for real.
Okay, cool.
All right, so just Adrian, Adrian, casting your number and email so we can bring you back for the poetry part. That, that was incredible. And get Malibu's, uh Tatted Barbie too, as well too, Adrian. Okay, so she ain't gotta wait no more.
Okay, all right, all right, cool.
All right, no problem. Damn, that was dope.
I hadn't seen the ring. I was gonna cash up with the $300 my damn self, but she checked herself out for that.
I like that the poem spoke to men and women, not just, you know, and they called everybody out on their shit.
For real, because if niggas ain't shit—
Just K is back.
Just K, how you doing? What's going on? How you doing? Good. What happened?
I'm in my car.
My friend told me— I was at the gym— she told me to come on here and sing, and I'm like, so I rushed somewhere where I can sing.
I'm not even at home.
Oh, okay.
All right, well, let's—
what you singing tonight?
Sam Cooke, Change Gonna Come. Oh, okay, well, go ahead. I was born by the river in a little tent, just like the river I've been running ever since. It's been a long walk, a long time coming. But I know a change gonna come. Oh yes, it will. It's been too hard living, but I'm afraid to die because I don't know what's up there beyond the skies. It's been a long Okay, baby. All right, all right.
We don't want you to bust the speakers, okay?
No, no, okay, my bad. Okay, that, that— see, that's how a big nigga's supposed to sound.
Absolutely.
Damn, we've been catfished tonight by a lot of big dudes. Correct.
I feel like it's very unfortunate that your mic cannot hold your voice because you have a big voice. So, but you can sing. You can hear from the tone that you can sing. And thank you for representing for the big boys. Thank you, thank you for representing because that's how you're supposed to do it. But you can sing. So it is unfortunate that the mic couldn't hold your voice. So if you do come back, just try to like tone it down a little bit, just a so we can fully hear you so that you don't get drained out by your microphone. So, but you were great.
Yeah, it's a yes.
Oh yeah, I just came out, man.
Yes, yes.
Okay, all right, cool. Damn, it's Wi-Fi, bro. Okay, uh, Derek, just—
okay, got a question for you, brother. Just K, can you hear me?
Yes, I can hear you.
Okay, I got a question for you. Uh, what was you doing at the gym?
I was working out. I was actually— I was in the sauna, and then she texted me and told me to, and I just did it.
I wasn't even scared. I was gonna tell you, get your ass out them people gym bullshit, boy. You don't get your ass in that damn studio. Get your— you over there playing around in the people gym. You got your phone in the damn sauna. You ain't supposed to have your damn phone want to know, son. Boy, you get your ass in that damn studio. Change is damn sure gonna come. It's a yes for me. Uh, go ahead then, Ruben Studdard. You ain't sorry for 2004. Go ahead, boy. Yes.
No doubt.
That's amazing. That's amazing. It is definitely a yes for me. When you come back, you got to stay and wait because we're about to start the competitions here. And like, Jasmine, how many more people you gonna let through? One more person, then y'all gonna come back and compete. The winos are gonna vote. And then they'll let you know, uh, who won. Okay, okay.
So I have to stay here?
Hey, yeah, just— you're gonna be dropped back down. Just stay backstage, don't click off, okay? But your next song, just make sure— we know you got a powerful voice, just make sure it's not so powerful to where it's distorting the speakers. But we know you can sing your ass off.
Okay, thank you.
That's, that's how I'm supposed to sing. Yeah. Yes. Okay, let's go.
All right.
Damn, he shocked me.
Y'all gonna stop doing this whole representing me too? But I always represent for us.
Shit, you ain't—
you just mad that you don't.
I'm just— Sean, I said I was gonna stop talking about you. We supposed to be brothers now. You need to quit this shit. I'm gonna put some money on your books.
Giving jail, like you just had a baloney sandwich and it's about to be lights off.
Hopeful, how you doing? Hopeful, hey, hey, hey, hey, where you calling from, Hopeful?
South Carolina.
Shout out to South Carolina. What you gonna be doing tonight? I'mma try to act. Y'all be nice to me. Sean got me scared out here. Oh, don't be scared. I don't even work tonight.
All right, all right, go ahead.
Okay.
And dang, you told Harpo to beat me? All right, fight. I had to fight my father, I had to fight my uncles, I had to fight my brother. Girl, a family— a girl ain't— I'm sorry, y'all. Girl, a woman—
we can't hear you. What is going on with everybody internet tonight? Hopeful, hopeful.
Jasmine, drop her down, drop her down. Dropper, I don't know what the hell happened. Somebody tried to call her while she was on. You know how when somebody call you, it mutes you? Yeah, that's, that's, that's definitely an iPhone feature that I hate. We got one more, Jasmine.
She was cute though, I liked her.
One more, give me one more.
She was funny.
She was funny.
Was it a yes?
Hell no, she didn't get the words right. No, everybody know that, uh, line.
Pop on a beat, me Yeah, yes or no for you?
Oh no, but she, she was cute though. She was cute.
She was cute. She was saying—
because she said insane and then said you tore up the beach.
That shit, I was like, bitch.
All right, last person, come on, before we, we had a white host vote.
Sip slowly.
I'm her friend. She, uh, she wanted me to sing. Tonight. Who? Sip Slowly. She one of your OGs, and she, she sat there and she was like, you better sing. I'm tired of seeing you sit in the house all the time and stuff, and you be singing in here, and we, we tired of it. Okay, cool. So what you singing tonight? I'm gonna sing, um, I think it's Patti LaBelle, If Only You Knew. Okay, because you— Sip Slowly said, this is my friend, I want her to sing. Look, Yeah, everybody need a friend like this. I love it.
All right, go ahead.
I'm sorry, what is your name? What's your name? I go by M Peace Infinite online. Um, okay, just go by M. All right, cool. Go ahead.
I must have rehearsed my lines a thousand times. Before I had them memorized. But when I get up the nerve to tell you the words, they never seem to come out right. Oh, if only you knew How much I do, I do love you. Oh, if only you knew how much I do, I do need you.
Okay, okay. All right, um, we're gonna start with Derek.
Something is wrong. I can't put my finger on it though. If something is damn sure wrong— you sound good. No, she sound good. You sound good. I don't know what's wrong. You sound good, but It's like, I don't know, man, something wrong. Tug your wig just a little.
Tug it.
Oh, hell, that's what it is. I knew it was something. I couldn't put my finger on it. I could not put my finger on it. It was the wig.
It ain't you.
Okay, listen, child, the answer is yes. The wig was throwing me off. I said, if she tugged this motherfucker down That— yeah, I knew it would move.
There it is.
Okay, the wig moved. Let me tell you something, the wig moved. The wig moved and you moved me. It's a yes.
Thank you. You're welcome.
Sean, I think that you do have a pretty tone. I wouldn't sing a Patti song again, but I would like to see you return and hear and sing a different song. but you do have a good tone. Your tone to your voice is pretty. You do have a pretty tone. So I'm going to say yes because I did like your tone to your voice. It was pretty.
It's pretty.
Thank you, Sean.
I appreciate you. Okay, um, it was a little bit of a shaky start for me, but I'm glad you, um, you corrected yourself. And I saw that. That's why I told him to hold on that You got a beautiful tone. Um, that is a very hard song to sing, and it wasn't— it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. So I'm gonna say yes because I want you to come back and sing another song. Can I ask, um, if you mind me asking, like, what, uh, in terms of my tone, what do you think? Because I've been told by people people that my voice is soft when I thought I was loud. But what kind of-esque, you know, vibe, Sean?
I would say like Monica, like Angel of Mine, you know, something like that. It's an easier song to sing, but it's also a pretty ballad. So if you know that song, I feel like your tone matches that to where we can actually hear your voice without trying to compare you to somebody as big like Patti LaBelle. Um, but I think a softer song would be better, so like a Brandy or Monica song, you know, something like that, to where we can actually like hear you. Yeah, something like that.
Yeah, like you're not looking for Patti or Whitney or whatever, but you know, I grew up on listening to the vocalists like that, so that's kind of what, you know, I don't sing it, I guess are different.
So that's what I'm saying, like your tone to match up Patti. So it's like if you got on stage with Patti, she would drown you completely out just because you're softer, you know, than her. So I would say try to sing a song with somebody that won't drown you out.
Absolutely. Yeah, I appreciate it. All right, cool. So stay backstage and we'll bring you back. Okay. All right, no problem. Thank you. Okay, anytime. You're a bitch, Derek.
You are.
You could have let the wig slide.
Hey, it was, and that was the problem. I knew.
Hey, I think she just woke up, her friend said get on, and she just went on.
Correct.
I couldn't stop looking at that, that wig. It was just itching to move. I said, if she just gone and pull that motherfucker on down—
that's not nice.
But she got a yes, she got a yes.
Ready to vote. We're ready to vote. Are the, are the contestants assembled to vote? All right, so why, why, while they are assembling, um, of course the show is sponsored, uh, so let me shout out who's paying us. But it's also products that I personally use. What are you doing with that finger? What are you doing with the finger, Tasha? See, that's the question, because if it's the same nail, there's something going on. I don't think it got nothing to do with no damn booger, Sean. It got something to do with something else. Tasha, what you doing with that finger? That's why she quiet, Sean. That's what you're doing with that finger, Tasha. People won't know. People won't know, Tasha.
Your wife ain't out.
Actually, my nails scoop boogers out better.
Derek, Tasha, quit running around the question. What is you doing with that finger to where that damn nail keep breaking? Yeah, there you go.

Is it K-Cutter, Faye Pastor Troy, Maurice, Maurice Ortega, let's go!
It better be Maurice.
He didn't do good the second time, Tasha.
But I think if he wouldn't have tried to sing the second time around, if he would have just spit, I think it would have been a lot better.
I think he was trying to sing to me, but he was, and that was some bullshit.
That's why I'm glad you left the camera, because man That's what he get.
The nigga come back like LL Fool J. Yeah, you wasn't cool. You LL Fool J.
I be trying to tell them, you know, it be the women that be hating on me, you know, and the gay boys and stuff, because they say I don't know how to dress, which is all true. But here's the thing, men don't give a damn about no woman knowing how to dress. A real man wants you butt naked and natural. They like the fupa.
Hey man, I pressed that little foof in and treat it like a, a, a sanitizer deal. You know when you press that sanitizer and juice come out the bottom?

All right, cut that voting off, cut it off, cut it off, cut it off, cut it off.
All right, all right, all right. So y'all, did y'all vote? Jasmine, who you think? All right, we should have 2,000, almost 3,000 votes.
Sean, let's go. I think Tay probably got— hey, hey, I'm gonna be honest with you, I didn't like none of them on the second go-round. Probably like Tay the best. I didn't— I didn't like none of them.
Yo, for you it don't count, you already—
I feel like Marie was cool, he just shouldn't have sang.
Yeah, the nigga trying to impress Tasha and shit, and it's the winos he got to impress.
He should. Shit, when I'm alone in my room, sometimes I stare at the wall looking like this.
He did come back up on this LL real quick.
Last 4, last 4, nigga.
Here, man, not them in the chat talk about next batch, please. I cannot.
The Winos, they are—
they— hell, I'm trying to—

33-city tour and got to meet them motherfuckers, and I tell you, I swear to God, when they told me to shut up, I shut up.
I was like, okay, crazy. And you, you crazy as they fearless leader. That's a mess, I realized.
But I'm scared of them, they always work.
I, I'm right there with you, Sasha. I'm scared of my, my uncheckables.
Y'all are funny.
Y'all done created these monsters and now y'all—
did we run from them? Absolutely.
Me. What, for real? Yes, we— they got it on video too. I was like, oh my God, just like—
I love you.
He was lit, but that, that was my fault though, because we had him drinking for 5 hours before I hit the stage.
So I, I don't know, maybe she trying to leave in my Uber Black with me.
I'm going to the car, I'm like, oh Okay, the wino at Houston tried to leave with you. Damn.
Yes, shout out.
That was a good night. That time was going. A time was had.
It was, it was the time.
Time.
Who's next? Who's next? Who? Keidra.
Keidra.
There she go.
There she go.
All right, Keedra, what you singing this time? Mary J. Blige. Oh shit, going down.
All right, come on, come in, come in the screen a little bit because you know we're gonna clip your video and put you out.
So, okay, cool. All right, so, uh, Derek, uh, not Derek, God damn it, I can't even think. Yes, anyway, go ahead saying Keedra.
Okay, time on my hand. Since you went away, boy, I ain't got no plans, no, no, no, no. And the sound of the rain against my windowpane, it's slowly, it's slowly driving me insane. Oh boy, Cuz I'm going down.
All right, all right, I try to keep on beat with them.
Tell the winos to vote for you.
Vote for me, y'all.
Please vote for Kedra.

Gave me chills. Sean said no the first round.
Sean, Sean, you don't know Sean.
Is it your Wi-Fi?
Please don't ask him.
I do think that you can sing. I do think that you can sing. I do. I think it's just your song choices, but I don't think that you can sing though. You do have a voice. I would be lying if I think you can't sing.
So I love this song choice. Maybe because I clean Anita Baker on Sundays. Well, my cleaning crew cleans mine too. Oh well, I clean her too. Spanish, so they don't really be understanding, but they get it done though.
You know, wow, perfect.
You were perfect to me, Aisha.
Thank you.
Oh, thank you, man.
You was perfect, child. Yeah, thank you so much. Don't worry about jailbirds. People in jail, you see, they keep you down. Thank you.
Other people, oh, thank you.
Vote for Aisha.
Thank you.
If you liked her song and liked her voice, And, uh, for her to have a chance to come on the road with us and win $300.
That's how you come back the second time, Shawna. You know it, Shawna. I don't even know why you frowned up like that.
No shit.
She has one— she has a beautiful smile. She definitely does.
She really does.
I love when a woman wears like red lipstick and they got a gap.
Yeah, she likes it.
I wish sometimes that I would have kept my gap, but they, they did, and I'm gonna get them to shave The, the hair matched the makeup, matched the shirt.
It was a lot of colors.
I love it. That's what Black women do.
What, man?
This nigga tripping. This nigga tripping. You looking at the outfit?
No, that wasn't surprised by you tonight.
That ain't it.
Sip slowly. Where the big dude at? He ain't coming.
Them braids don't fit inside that shit. You done, you done move that wig and put on that wrap, and I love it.
You're muted.
Yeah, unmute yourself. Yeah. All right, sip slowly.
Her name is M something. You gotta unmute yourself, M. Oh no, some—
I, I thought I was unmuted. Mom said something, I missed what it is.
Okay, so you took off the braids, huh? You took the wig off?
I took off the braids. You know, I'm trying to—
Derek bully you and make you feel like you needed to do that?
No, it wasn't. If he telling the truth, the truth can't never be a diss, you know.
I love you.
All right, so that's my favorite wig though. Thank you. What you sing in this round? No problem. What you sing in this round? I'm gonna go ahead with a Monica pick and I'm gonna sing, um, Angel of Mine. All right, now if she don't get voted for because of this song, Sean, it's your fault.
Don't do that, don't do that. You got this.
Go ahead, go ahead.
When I first saw you, I already I knew there was something inside of you, something that—
oh shoot—
something I thought that I would never find. Angel of mine, Sean was right. I look at you looking at me.
Now I know why they say the best.
Not too good. I did, I tried to.
I feel like she needed more time to build on that song.
I do too, but she got 30 seconds.
I think if she would have started with a bridge, I think she really would have ate. But I think she did a really good job.
Boy, you are Goddamn, son, you was right!
Goddamn, when you write, you're right. Goddamn, when you write, you're right all the time. Damn, boy, I was right about the wig, you was right about the song choice. Nigga, we are right. We're a good team.
We create stars.
Oh, you better know we do.
I like the first song choice better. I didn't like this song song for you.
What? What about the hair choice? Did you like this second one?
I like this better. This better. You know, I'm a natural girl, you know. So, but shout out, you know, there's a wig supplier that— I need a wig influencer, y'all. Please, if you know any influencers that wear wigs, I got a wig influencer that want me to wear wigs, but I said no.
My Annie go to different cities and steal wigs out the beauty supply.
I know, but the wig money, they pay a lot of money, and I'm trying to, you know, take the money and split it.
What type of money?
Here, under this, y'all. I'm just— let me see.
Okay, no, listen, my auntie goes to different cities and she steals wigs out of the beauty supply if you need that, Tasha.
Thank you, y'all. I appreciate y'all so much.
That child was good this time. I like the song choice. I don't know what Tasha talking about, but Sean, to me, he was right, baby girl.
Just like women man that look like they can cook.
Do I look like I can cook?
Yeah.
Why do people keep telling me that?
You giving real— you giving cornbread. I'm gonna be honest with you, you're giving cornbread and black-eyed peas right now.
Somebody was like, oh, you look like you can make a mean pot of greens.
I'm like, what about it?
Yeah, you damn sure look like it's a crock pot close by.
Yeah, it is though. Okay, all right, so listen, I'm not putting on a wig, guys. What I said was I need influencers that are creators that market, that have, that wear wigs on their YouTube channels to reach out to me so I could facilitate these deals with you. They're very lucrative, but I don't wear wigs. And they keep saying, Tasha, please wear the wig.
And I'm like, I look ridiculous.
My head is like this small and the wig is always so big.
And then when I thin the wig out, I look like I'm going bald.
Well, Shaq might like it. Y'all can roleplay.
He don't like wigs.
He—
this right here turn him on. It make him feel like he rubbing on my butt.
You got a hairy ass?
Yeah.
Oh, goddamn. Yeah, yeah.
Latasha played you damn much, man.
All right, listen. All right, guys, uh, who else? Jasmine. Okay, so Jess K didn't show back up. The man with the big voice.
Oh shit, he good.
Ruben stuttered.
He had to go back to the gym and waste them people time and their equipment.
Okay.
Okay, cool.
Sean, why was you at the gym?
Are they voting? Are you voting right now? Give me 90 seconds there. Y'all got 90 seconds to vote. Let's go.
All right, we on that. Uh, Tasha, I thought that the, uh, those, those sponsors, man, I think it's gonna be great for Sean to use some products. Like, I, I, the— I, I love to see you with them products, you know. Your skin, all that. I just— I like it.
I don't know what that means though, but okay. It's good.
It's a good thing. It ain't nothing bad.
I'm like, Derek, up here you are definitely the ugly friend.
Goddamn, son.
This motherfucker, the ugly friend.
Well, I'm just saying, you make Tasha and I look better. I mean, we already look great, but I'm just saying. Thanks for everything you do. Thank you.
Sorry, mother.
Y'all should be voting. Why not? Are you voting, Sean?
I would never say no shit like that about you, though.
You absolutely would. Yes, you would.
Are you—

I get that.
15 seconds left to vote so we can pick the winner.
You know, uh, we agree.
Oh girl, he's trying to get back up. We gotta start it over.
Just K is back.
They say he's in the chat. You need to hit the link again, Just K. Hit that same link that you hit.
Yeah, that's the In the Car, uh, Change Is Gonna Come, Sam Cooke. Hey, he can really sing too. The, the, the— this is the better half if you ask me. This is the better half.
I'm team Keith Latasharina Kebe as of now.
Yeah, I didn't think she did that great on the second go-round.
You didn't?
The first go-round, she really nailed it. The second go-round, I feel like she didn't give it her all. I actually like the right song. I actually like the, the guy— what's his name?
Maurice.
The light-skinned guy Maurice. Maurice too. Tay. I like Tay this time.
Tay look like if Jermaine Dupri and Anthony Hamilton had a baby.
Why Anthony Hamilton?
I don't know, he giving off both of them.
If Just K can't get up in here in the next 2 minutes because we gotta end this show, uh, we'll let him come back on the third show to compete. Okay, all right, cool. Um, so who won, Jasmine? Who is he coming in?
But I'm asking if he's coming in. Okay, put the poll back up. Who won on the— put the poll back up. Jasmine gonna put the poll back up for the second batch.
Okay, let's go.
90 more seconds, Derek. Let's go, 90 seconds.

All right, here we go.
Hold on, wait, don't let her get it up. Let her, let her get it up.
All right, I'm trying to figure out who gonna win.
Where is Sips?
Who you think, who you think got it right now, Sean?
Keidra. At the second batch and not the first batch between Maurice and Tay?
Hey, but I'm gonna be honest with you, man. Hey, the, the chat, they've been the winos, they've been shocking us every week, right? It's not who we think it is.
Mind my business.
That's right, because it ain't who we think it is. Am I ready to start this clock?
No, not yet. She about to put the chat back up. Give me a second.
Hey, because they, they got a difference of opinion. So while people be back there thinking that they done got it, them winos got something else for your ass, Jack. Shouts out to my sister Sean, Sean Walker. Uh, Sean, what up? What up, sis? Hey, she watching.

If I would just fast, correct.

You about to go lose your damn money.
Well, I'm gonna go play, uh, I'm gonna go play, uh, what's going on? 21, 20 seconds.

We got 10 seconds left.
10 seconds left for the voting. Let's go.
I really don't know who's gonna win. I feel like it's gonna be— you never know with the Winos.
I think it's gonna be Tay, and my side nigga will be Maurice. You still mad about that $80, Derek? Is he frozen again?
I hope so.
He was talking all that shit about your Wi-Fi. Now look, he deserves it. Look at his ass. Look it up.
What's that Keisha called? Heaven Sent.
What's that Keisha calls? Oh, Jasmine. Yeah, we don't know because Derek is frozen. Okay, end it. Look at his head. At least we can see his throat. Man or woman, which one is it?
Right, dude, chick. It's giving dude.
All right, y'all, let's see who gonna win. I'm, I'm really anticipating who is gonna win. Come on now, y'all, we were supposed to be done at 8:10, 8 o'clock.
3 tops.
Okay, all right, so we got one more vote that's got to take place, guys.
All right, so who is it, Jasmine? Who you putting in the vote?

Top 3. Sean, did you finally move to the South, or you still in up there in the cold with the white folks?
And the cold for the last year, and then I'm finally gonna be in Houston. I'm moving to Houston, Texas next year.
Houston, Texas. Congratulations!
Yes, excited. I'm very excited.
Summer.
So shout out to Keedra, and shout out to Tay, and shout out to Aisha. I liked all three, but I would have to say Keedra and Tay are my top two.
I like Naisha.
Why?
Because she had that deep, like, alto voice. What have you done to me? And I'm not the same anymore. I love that. I love that.
Yes, Derek, the Windham done cut your internet. They say you've been on their internet too long.
That's gonna be another one.
Correct.
You don't ate that burger, see? Correct. Derek loading. Y'all are crap, man.
Listen, when the internet come, man, coming for you, Sean, to hook up your internet. You know, I know somebody didn't get on the roof.
It was supposed to be today, so today, but it'll be first thing in the morning.
So I know somebody didn't get on the roof. Now they could have turned that shit on for you.
You want somebody to get on the roof? I've been looking for somebody to get on the roof.
From Atlanta, bro, we get you anything you want.
I bet they got cable boxes.
All right, okay, stop the poll, stop the poll, stop the poll. Who's it gonna be? Is it gonna be Keidra? Is it gonna be Tay? Is it gonna be Aisha? Jazzy Fae? Who is it?
Keidra.
It's Keidra. All right, shout out to Keidra, girl. Thank you. Hold on, we gonna make her bigger. Damn, Sean, you actually nailed it. We never nailed it.
We never, not one time. We, we never get who it's gonna be, ever. Shout out to the Rhinos. I guess they agreed with us this time.
I know, I wanted Aisha, but it's okay.
I'm not gonna hate on her moment. I love it. She has a beautiful voice. Like I said, she has a beautiful voice. Who's that?
Jazz and Faye?
Okay.
Hey, Keidra! Hey, Tasha, I just heard you.
The first—
I'm supporting you, you got to support me too. I'm supporting you. I voted you through.
It was like, I didn't like—
you wouldn't say to win, you wouldn't Aisha to win. I didn't like the second song that you sound like the first one.
The first one, I had your back, baby. I had your back.
Thank you. The first one gave me chills, and Aisha gave me chills on the next round. So what am I supposed to do?
No, but the winos, you know, the winos, thank you.
Ain't got nothing to do with it. I ain't got to do it. But listen, the vitamins is good, ain't they though?
They gone. I gotta order some more.
And they're good. They— and they give you energy, I'm telling you.
This right here though. Yeah, see what I'm talking about? Shop tkdeals.com, use the coupon code TK10. It's real reviews on there from y'all, I promise you. I promise you. I told her— because I told the, uh, companies, I said, I don't want y'all reviews, we want the winos reviews. So they'll believe me. Derek, you, you had to buy some more Wi-Fi because you afford it.
Hell no, I had to dance for that damn Wi-Fi, man.
Just got out of jail.
Keedra won.
Hey, I'm gonna be honest with you, I had to log off, uh, here so I could log on to LatashaKebe.com so I can make sure I voted for Keedra. That's what— and I voted for me for real, girl. Yeah, I'd vote for you for the rest of my life. I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm gonna be honest with you, Keedra, girl, you got my vote. You hear me? What else do you need?
He is lying.
Oh, baby, I'm sitting right here with it.
What did you talk about?
Daddy got it.
Daddy, daddy got it, baby. Daddy got it. What is we talking about?
That's not enough. Not you complaining over an $80 burger.
I didn't complain. What I was saying is I wanted to spend $160 because Keidra wasn't here. That's what I was saying.
So you wanted wagyu? It better be a wagyu burger for $80.
Wagyu, Magoo, Hoodoo. Keidra did it.
Congratulations, Keidra, you won $300. Now you got some, you got some competition you're gonna be going up, uh, against during the finale, okay? Yes, ma'am. You're gorgeous, so bring it now, bring it. All right. Yes.
All righty, Mama, anything you want to say?
You know, thank you to the Winos, thank you to your sponsors, and thank Thank you for creating a platform for people like us to just be exposed. Sean and Derek, love y'all. Thank you. Oh, I love her.
She's so— your energy is so clean. You don't give Detroit energy though. Like, they used to be rough, you know.
Everybody from the 313, put your motherfucking hands in the air for me.
Yeah, okay, cool. Well, listen, go ahead and, uh, give, uh, Cash the check. Uh, what y'all call Cut the check, Keebee. Uh, your information so he can cut you a check. Okay, thank you. Anytime, anytime.
Check—
writing checks tonight. Love you.
Oh, all right, congratulations. I'm not hating, I just didn't like the second song, but the first song she definitely killed it.
So hopefully when she comes back for the finale, she gonna kill it.
Etta James, she needs to stick with Etta James.
Okay, and for everybody that's asking why don't I have a category for anybody, it's because the Showtime at the Apollo never had they put everybody together and let the audience vote. And comedians won, sometimes poets won, sometimes singers won, sometimes rappers won. And the audience completely— like, we switched ours up. But yeah, it's just— but the poetry thing, I just feel like I just need a poet to open up that show.
Yes.
So, all right, these people talking about I'm on Q-Link, uh, Wi-Fi. Y'all need to stop. These winos are funny.
I'm sorry, shout out to the winos. Thank you so much, uh, for watching tonight.
We really appreciate it. Sean, um, we hope that you enjoy your new space, you know, and next week you'll come back with your set all jazzied up in your hat looking like Darth Vader. Derek, we know you'll be in another hotel catching bed.
All right.
Hey, listen, hey, hey, I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna tell you what's sad about this. I was just sitting there thinking like, damn, next week I will be in another— this is some bullshit.
Shout out your show, maybe they want to come see you tomorrow.
Uh, we're at the Wynn performing at the Encore Theater. There's a show, uh, on Friday and a show on Saturday night, uh, I forget the time, but it's like probably like 9 o'clock or something like that. But it's myself and Jimmy O. Yang. He is a huge Asian star. Um, that's this week. And then next week I believe I'll be in Fort Wayne, Indiana with Bill Bellamy at some comedy club in Fort Wayne.
So I saw Billy— Bill Bellamy at True Food, uh, chasing a Latina bitch.
No, not my friend Bill.
I did, I did. And he gave me tickets to his comedy show. I was like, Bill, you don't know who I am.
He didn't.
I ain't gonna tell you, he, he, I ain't gonna tell your wife, but I'm gonna tell you why. No, I'm gonna tell the wife.
No, no, Bill don't do that. Bill's a, Bill's a good guy.
He does.
I've seen him. No, because as soon as the girl walked past, she had on a little, little dress with her ass out, and he was like, oh shit, and he started fixing his shirt, and he, he chased her and went and got her number.
We be trying to help people, man. If, if, if something is wrong, what's wrong with somebody helping them, huh? What's wrong with us helping them? The girl had dropped some produce and he picked it up and handed it to her, and you think he cheating because of that? Tasha, how dare you?
Yeah, because she won the garbage— it was on the ground.
Sean, please tell everybody where they can find you and follow you, support you.
Absolutely, over here on YouTube, IG, TikTok, everywhere underneath the Sean Everyway Show. Thank you so much, Tasha, for having me. Shout out to you, Derek. I love doing this show. I love being here with y'all. I look so forward to this. Shout out to the Winos. I love all of y'all reviews, me being evil, me being nice. I'm just glad I'm here and y'all mad about it.
I love you both. Thank you so much. And I love the Winos. Shout out to all the contestants tonight that brought it, you know what I'm saying? The ones that didn't even bring it either, you know what I'm saying? But shout out to everybody for just having the courage and the vulnerability to get up here and be judged, you know what I'm saying? That takes a lot in itself. So, um, also guys, shout out to the winner, uh, Keidra, right? Okay, I was about to call her Kendra. Okay, Keidra, she won $300 tonight. She gonna be up against Legalize Kay and Marcella Love, the winners of episode 1 and episode 2. We will see y'all next Thursday, okay, for episode 4 of Shoot Your Shot. All right, Jasmine says we got to do about what, 12 12 episodes before we plan the finale. Okay, so we're gonna do 12 episodes and we're gonna plan the finale and get everybody— I'm trying to think if I should do it in Atlanta. I was thinking about Florida. I don't know. I don't know.
But shout out to the bad wigs too. We need more of those on the show.
Okay, what'd you say?
Oh, okay.
And yes, guys, if you want to shoot your shot in the, in the, uh, chat or in the description box, Jasmine Okay, so if you want to shoot your shot next Thursday and hold a place, we will allow serious people to hold their place for a chance to shoot your shot, but we still— it still will remain an open mic, okay? And so we'll have certain reserved spots for people that we feel that are serious about their craft. So please use the JotForm below, um, that is in the description box as well as in the chat to shoot your shot. And you can find it in my Linktree at watch— Linktree uh, /watchtashakay, okay? But we will be promoting it every show, especially on, um, you know, our celebrity gossip. But I love you guys, thank you so much. And with that being said, now we gotta go.
Bye! Yes.
