All right, what we on, you hoes? Y'all know what time it is. It's time to shoot your own award. It's showtime! 20 seconds before we hit the show, everybody. This is our first official virtual open night, okay? So listen, guys, if you want to kick with us, if you want to sing with us, if you want to make us laugh, you definitely have to hit that subscribe button. And if anybody asks, what y'all doing up over here? Remember. Hey. Yes. This is a legend. This is a legend, Lee, wherever we are, judging all of these guests. Hey, y'all. Hey. This is my third day in studio with no AC. I just threatened my landlord. And I threatened my husband to divorce him for not threatening the landlord. So I am hot. I am not doing cocaine lines, uh, behind the scenes. I am literally sweating and it is almost summertime, okay? And I need to take off this jacket, but I just— I, I don't know, I'm weird. I like my arms covered. I don't know, sometimes. But we'll talk about that. All right, guys, so this is our first official virtual open mic night talent show judged by, of course, me, Teddy, his wife, bitch, and comedian Derrick King. A lot of you guys have seen me sharing him. Derrick, say what's up. How you doing, D?
Listen, if I was doing any better, I'd have to be twins. I'm ready to see some talent tonight, Tasha.
OK. All right. All right. So listen, I'm going to introduce our next guest judge, and then I'm going to lay down the rules for the contestants, OK? 'Cause they get to win $300 and they get to win a chance to go on tour with me 2026, a tour that you're gonna be on too. Okay. All right, so let me go ahead and introduce— and y'all know him, our favorite messy-ass YouTuber. Okay, he's one of my favorite YouTubers, Sean Davey Way. What's going on, baby? Hi. Hi. Hello, Tasha.
Derek, thank you for having me.
Anytime. I had to have you. Listen, if we were going to do anything that was YouTube-based, I had to have a YouTuber. And then, you know, I'm a comedy guru. I had to have one of my favorite comedians, Derek, uh, Derek King. So, um, I'm happy to be here with y'all, you know what I'm saying, as the 3 official judges. And then, you know, we gonna let in some guest judges every week, a 4th host, you know what I'm saying. So let me go ahead and run down the rules. So here's the rules, guys. The link is open. It's open mic night. I'm hot. I ain't got no AC. All right. I should be using the $300 to fix the compressor, but I'm trying to get my landlord to do it because that's what I pay him for. You understand what I'm saying here? All right. All right. So we're going to let— we have some people waiting backstage already because they've already hit the link. Okay. First come, first serve. All right. You get to do whatever talent it is that you have. Okay, it does not matter. We are not judging the talent, but we will be judging you. Okay. And so what it is, in order to qualify for the $300 prize, you have to get 2 votes out of 3. Okay, 2 votes out of 3, which means it's either got to be me and Sean and Derek. If you say no, oh well, they go through. If it's me and you, Derek, against Sean, it's just they got to get 2 votes to win to go to the next round. And so the next round is the final round where the winos will actually be voting. And so Jazzy Fae, whoever we choose who makes it to that final round, they have to come back up, re-perform. They can either do the same thing or the different— a different thing, whatever it is they want to perform. And the winos will judge using a poll in the comment section. So it's not biased over here. The Winos are totally, you know, judging, and they choose who wins the $300 tonight, and they get to go on to compete at the end of our season. Once we complete, like, I want to say 10 episodes, maybe 12, they'll get to come back with all the contestants and compete for a chance to go on tour with us next year for 2026.
Good, good, because I want to see them.
Me too. Y'all better be real good, especially the ones that already hit this link. Don't be thirsty to be basic, okay? I'll put some stank on it.
All right, they better come on with their real talent.
I'm talking, you know what, I, I got— I'm trying to bring back Showtime at the Apollo. You know how like Aaliyah and all that was on there and they went on to be famous? That's what I want, you know what I'm saying? I want to see whoever's backstage, like on a Tasha K Presents tour. You know what I'm saying? Opening up, doing their thing, whatever it is that they do, whether it's comedy, poetry, I don't care. If you got a talent and it's able to entertain, please guys, we are open to it.
All right, so I want to, I want to go on record as saying that you say you want it like, uh, you want it like the Apollo. If it's a fine—
the White House, the Bowen.
Well, if it's a fine woman, ma'am, definitely rub the log.
What did he just say?
Not the twig, rub the log.
You know what, I did see the game's log on the internet today. Did you see it, Sean?
Absolutely, duh. You know that slid across my desk and I picked it right up.
It was a lot to pick up.
It was, it was heavy.
It was a lot to pick up.
Hey, what are we doing?
Don't even worry about that. You just, you just, you just sent a shot to the ladies. Let us send a shot to the men, right?
You're not the only one that can talk about logs, right?
Exactly.
Hey, you know what, son? You right. That's my bad. Bet I won't do that again.
Yeah, I bet you won't.
Exactly, exactly. All right, guys, so we've been having some, uh, some people waiting patiently backstage. Remember, this is an open mic. If you know somebody and you want them to get on here, it may be their lucky night, you know what I'm saying? Tell them to hit the link. Just make sure they ain't got no copyrighted music. We like a cappella better, okay? But if you have some non-copyrighted music and you want to sing over a track or something or rap over a track, just make sure you ain't cussing out no Jews, no kids, you know, you ain't talking about no war, killing nobody, you know what I'm saying? Please, guys, this is just fun. This is just fun for us, okay? So listen, without— Yes. Okay. All right, so here's the thing. Are you guys ready? I'm ready. I've been waiting for this 3 weeks. I'm ready.
I'm ready. I'm so excited.
Yeah.
So Jasmine, who do we have first? We're gonna have to do— let you do the presenting. Who do we have first? We have Quinn Kelly. Quinn Kelly. Okay, come on up here, Quinn. Hi. Hey, Quinn. How y'all doing tonight? Do I get started now? Wait, you gotta tell us a little bit about yourself. So where are you from? Okay, my name is Quinn. Okay, this weekend— and you my friend this weekend? Yes, I'm from Earth. You from Earth? Okay, but I, I live in Memphis, so— okay, shout out to Memphis. You got your bulletproof vest on right now? Absolutely. OK, OK, cool. All right, so what are you going to be doing tonight for us, Quinn? Clean comedy. Clean comedy. OK, Derrick, this is right up your alley now.
I'm ready.
Remember, remember, we want to— we want to have a good time, but we also want these people to thrive, OK? OK. So Quinn, are you ready? Yes. All right. How much time do I have? Let's do 3 minutes. How about that? Okay, that's fine. If it's shorter, it's fine. Oh, you want it longer? Yes, because I'm a comedian and you know them poets and them singers, they go for a long time. But I understand the open mic, okay, do my time. Derek, Derek, as a, as a traveling comedian, how many minutes should we give her?
I'm gonna tell you right now, we usually do 3 minutes. Uh, I've done this on StreamYard a million times, but if she's funny, if you're funny, I think she should be able to go 5 minutes. But you got to be funny.
Okay, but we don't know that though.
We're not gonna know until— hey, hey, here's how I stop you.
If I'm—
if I act like Too Short and I blow the whistle, stop.
I was gonna say, so like, what if she's trash and we give her 2 extra minutes to— and we're just like wanting to be done with this?
Hey, if you want to pull a Showtime at the Apollo contestant and keep going, you finish your set because you could turn people around in comedy. You know that, Derek, right? I've seen it happen.
She can. And Quinn, I'm looking forward to you being real funny. So with your earthly Memphis Graceland self, you got it yourself, baby.
And do you think— okay, all right, Quinn. Uh, Sean, okay, are you guys ready to hear Quinn?
I'm ready.
All right, let's go, Quinn. The floor is yours the next 5 minutes. Let's go. How y'all doing tonight? My name is Quinn and I'm your friend this weekend. I know y'all don't know me, but I'm from Earth. I'm God's favorite speck on the universe. Now I came here tonight for a very specific reason. I came right in front of the tree because I know Miss Tasha don't like it. I'm almost ready for a podcast, you know what I'm saying? It's fake. Okay, I'm looking for some people who wear glasses. Where my people at that wear glasses? Y'all make some noise. Y'all know we can't hear each other. I want us to have some rights. I'm trying to find a gang of people that wear glasses, because you know the midgets, you can't call them dwarfs, trolls, Oompa Loompas, munchkins, none of that. They came together and formed a group, you know what I'm saying? So I mean, that was my favorite ones, but you can't call them that no more because they came together. So we need to come together. Now I've given us a name, okay? First and foremost, let me tell y'all what we want. We want to be able to park in a handicap spot at night and when it's raining. Amen. I say for the woke folks, I'm serious now. We need to be able to park in a handicap spot. They got curfew. They're not out if it's raining, if it's snowing. We are in a vulnerable position. We need to be able to park right up front and go in and do what we need to do. Now I got a name for us, okay? We gonna call ourselves the LGBT community. Oh yeah, we gonna steal it like they did the rainbow from the church. Okay, now I'm a G. I'm a G. I see a lot of conservatives. I'm a G, okay? Throw your Gs up. I wear glasses. Throw your Gs up. This is sign language for G. A, B, C, D, E, F, G. All right, I'm a G. I wear glasses. Now if you a B, you blind. You all the way on the other end of the spectrum. We trying to get some of your rights, you get what I'm saying? So, okay, okay. Now we gonna act like the white people did when they try to get their groups bigger, when they added the Italians and the French. And if you got glaucoma, you coming with us, okay? If you got cataracts, you can choose. So let's, let's explain. Miss Tosh, you seem to be confused. Let's start from the beginning because it's the LGB— I'm very confused. Yeah, L stands for lazy eye, okay? I got some new people, you gonna sign up? Okay, okay, I got you. You know, we're trying to be inclusive, okay? Now the, the G is for glasses, the B is for blind, the T for transitional lenses. It really ain't no big deal. This is my thing, okay? We need to be able to get some respect, okay? And we, we gonna come together like the Greeks. I don't know what they say because I'm not Greek, I'm Hebrew, but I know they be— when they see each other, they, they have some, you know, code word that they say to each other, let each other know. They— so we, we ain't doing no paperwork, we're not doing no certificates or nothing like that. We, we just gonna say what our prescription is. I'm a negative 11.5 in my left eye, negative 12 in my right eye. I got astigmatism. And floaters. Yeah, if you ain't never punched yourself in the face because of a floater, we really ain't on the same— I thought it was a net, you know. I don't know if you know what a floater is, but it'd be just sitting right there, like right, right there. And it's when I move, you move. Thank you. When I move, you move.
Just like that.
Just like that. I appreciate that. Now, I mean, but I think if you got 20/20 vision, you should sit in the back of the bus. So, okay, all right, all right, hold on, hold on, hold on, wait, wait, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, um, listen, I don't think we need to go to full 5 minutes, you know what I'm saying? I will stop. It's okay, it's okay, it's okay. Um, um, Derek, you're laughing.
She's really funny. Listen, I, I, I love comedy, so look, Quinn, The thing that got me— I wish you would have gotten into what the L was quicker, because— and that's what I was waiting on. That's why when you said laser, I'm like, yes, get into all those letters really quick. The L for laser, the G for glasses, the B for bifocals, the T for transitional.
What—
hey man, let me tell you something. That— I'm saying yes to you because you're funny. Forget the treat, you're funny. Girl, yes. You spin that chair back the other damn way. I want you to spin your ass back that other way. That sounds funny, man.
Okay, so it's a yes for you, Derek, is what you're saying?
Absolutely.
So you want to send her to compete on against the other contestants that are going to come up here for the $300 cash prize?
Absolutely. Let me tell you something. I've done this with a bunch of comedians. This particular deal where you have 3 people on the side watching and you're doing comedy. There are comedians that I know won't do half that good. That baby right there, Quinn, she just got to get into it a lot faster. But she funny. I see the funny. She funny.
Okay. All right. He's a professional comedian. He's literally worked with some of the biggest comedians.
Let's be honest. I write for DC Young Fly. I write for Nephew Tommy. I've written for Earthquake. Baby, I know what I'm talking about. Like, yo, you're funny. You're funny.
Okay, all right, she— he— that's a yes. Uh, Sean, hi. Hi.
So, um, okay, it's definitely gonna be— okay, I have mixed emotions at first.
You can be a dual citizen though if you need to be on both.
True, but, um, yeah, we don't do these. Did you just come from church? Like, why would we have—
So I am a certified clean comedian, and this is how I dress when I perform. Um, I am married. Um, I got a good man, Savannah. He don't— um, so, uh, I don't need to be sexy. And I— my, my goal is to look like a librarian. I'm really trying to steal this librarian, and you are doing just that.
You're crushing it. You're doing it, doing it, and doing it well.
But I didn't say anything about—
see, this is why I was trying to, you know, try to be careful with my words, you know, be choicey, because I don't want you to get in your feelings. But, um, I do know being a comedian is not an easy thing, trust me. Um, I definitely know. But I do agree with Derek, I do think you need to get into like a little quicker, because like you were trying to make me do math. I'm just like, oh my God, no, like math, like, right? Like, no, absolutely not. Um, but I mean to each his own. But I do think if you just speed it up a little bit more— and you don't have to dress sexy, not at all, because you're beautiful. Absolutely. That's why you got a good man, Savannah, because you are a beautiful woman. Absolutely. But your clothes are not— they're not. So that would definitely be my advice, sweetheart. Let's drop the Savers, you know, Goodwill, Look Bay, and because you got it, you—
but you need to speed it up and dig into somebody else's closet.
Gone, girl. But it's gonna be a no for me. Um, so yeah, this is a hard no.
Some wine already? A hard no. Hard.
Thank you, Tasha, because he—
I'm not mad because I just opened this joint up and you laughed, so I'm good. I appreciate you. You know what I want to see? Okay, before I vote, because we got some people way backstage, I want to see you roast the Got to shine.
I'm— me too. Let me sit up.
If you can roast Sean, he's not allowed to clap back, but if you can roast Sean, I will let you go through.
You got this.
You got it, sis. So I teach self-esteem on the side. Uh-huh. And I am a clean comedian. Okay.
But I'm like extremely secure, so it's fine, girl.
Use your glasses and, and see your way through this. Come on.
Okay, so come on. I'm from— we supposed to check people. Check him in the name of Jesus.
My nose.
I'm not gonna check your nose. You can smell what The Rock is cooking. You— and I'm looking at your outfit and I'm trying to figure out, is that lace I'm trying to figure out, is that another material? And then I'm trying to figure out if that necklace is real. Now I know, I know that you got your outfit from Forever 21. Did— no, did she freeze? No, but I want to stop. No, you cooking, you cooking. Go, go, you got to go. We don't even want you on either one of the LGBT communities. You gotta be mindful who you got representing your brand, okay? Now don't you put no more glasses on ever, ever. Come on, okay? I see it in her.
She got it.
Here's my thing, here's my thing, because you know the last vote— wait, the last vote is on me. Quinn, I feel it in you, sis, and you could be a clean comedian and still roast people. It's true, you know what I'm saying? It ain't about like, you know, self-esteem because it's comedy. It's a sport, you know. So we got some, you know, UFC fighters that go praise Jesus every Sunday after Saturday night fighting, you know what I'm saying? They shake each other hands. It's a sport. Um, so here's what I'm gonna say. I want you to come back. Okay, so it's gonna be a no for me. Oh. Okay, that's fine. I want you to come back because I can feel— I can see it in you, and I'm not playing. Like, I could— because you was clocking him when he was going back and forth with you. So I was like, it's in her. You were popping it. You were popping it. So there, you know, um, you know, I know you the professional comedian. This is a professional comedian up here, girl. Like, he be on tour. I mean, with the big ones, Earthquake, all of them, you know what I'm saying? Right. So what I'm saying to you is I want you to come back to the open night. I want you to come back, and I want you to, like he said, move it a little faster. Okay. And be ready to clock— clock us. I ain't clocking back. I'm not here to clock back. Yeah, I get you. See, so I have my own lane in comedy, and I— and I— when I, I get issues with, uh, hecklers, I have a certain way that I deal with them, and it's, um, not checking. So it's like, um, it's just—
you should have dealt with him that same way. Listen, comedy, like she said, it is a sport. You should have dealt with him when you're in a competition, man. Listen here, all them rules— listen, I write for Marcus Wiley too. Me and Marcus just talked on Saturday, so I understand the clean comedy lane. Hey man, listen, you're a comedian. Quit trying to be cute, quit trying to be nice. Be funny. That's the job. That's the job.
Collectively, that's what all of us is trying to say. Just like you are definitely in a shell and we just want to break you out of it because it's in there. Like, it's definitely there. Like, we can see there's definitely potential here. Absolutely. But we're just trying to break you out.
Terrible ass, terrible representation. Country Wayne not funny, baby. Listen to what I just told you. Listen to what I just told you. He's not funny. We not doing that. The devil is a lie. Uh, listen, you can definitely do better than that.
Come back. Okay. All right, listen, he not— Quinn, you gonna come back, sis? Absolutely. All right, all right. I appreciate you breaking the ice. Can I get y'all to follow me on Instagram? Yes, I'mma follow you. I got you, I promise you. Okay. All right, thank you so much. God bless y'all. All right, that was, uh, I gotta give her like credit for even being the first. You know how it's like, remember, uh, uh, Sean, when you were the first to go? Weren't you the first to go in Houston?
Yeah, that's what I get it. It's no easy task. Yeah, it was like, whoa, you did that and you did that.
Yeah. Okay, cool. All right, so we got some other people. Yeah, she's good. I, I see it, I see it. I just don't see it right now. Okay. All right. So, and I got the golden card tonight. Remember, next week it'll be one of y'all.
Yeah, I wish I had that joke.
The golden card is if they— if two of them don't like something and I like it, I can use my golden card to send somebody through to the round to win $300.
Boom.
Okay, so listen, we're ready for our next. Jasmine, who do we have? Presenter? We have Lyrical Speaks. Lyrical Speaks. Okay, come on up here. Hi, Lyrical. How you doing? I'm good. You're gorgeous. Thank you. Anytime. So, um, where are you from? I'm born in Salisbury, raised in Philadelphia, currently living in Baltimore, Maryland now. Okay, I don't know why I saw Baltimore all over when she stepped up. Okay, what are you gonna be doing for us today, Lyrical? I'm actually going to be singing. Oh, okay. All right, well, let's— you— the floor is yours. Let's go. You are holy, oh so holy. You are holy, oh so holy. And I want to worship at your throne, to be called into your presence as your own. You are holy. Oh, so holy. You are holy. Oh, so holy. What a privilege and an honor to worship at your throne, to be called into your presence. Okay, all right, hold on for a second, lyrical. Okay, okay, all right, Lyrica, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Okay, all right, all right. So it was a shaky start. I don't know if that was the internet. Shaky start for me. Do you have another song? You're sounding— your voice is projecting now. Do you have a stronger song? Okay, all right. Do you have another— you have another song you can sing? Of course. Give me— y'all want to hear one more? Because I felt like she could carry a tune, but I couldn't— I don't know if it was the internet, you know what I'm saying? So I want to give you another shot. Is that okay? Let's go. All right, let's go. Come on, give it to— give it to me, girl. I'm from the South now. Come on now. Let go, let go, lyrical. Come on. All right. And I stopped looking at back then when I let go and I let go. I let go. This way is so much going on. Sometimes I can't find my way. All right, Lyrica, I'll try to hold it. It's not you, Lyrica. Lyrica, it's not you. Lyrica. Lyrica. It's not you, Lyric, I swear to God. Shut the fuck up! Speak your mind. No, it's not that. They down there laughing. You know how when people laugh, you start laughing, right? That's what's happening to me. So I'm having to go like this because I'm in here crying. No, I don't want to laugh at you. I think that you have a very sultry voice. Thank you. Um, I think it's good as a— for me, it'll— I'm just going to go ahead and start. Well, let me, let me hear Sean. You go first.
You go first.
Why?
Okay, so, um, I would like to say this, uh, I think—
here she go, lyrical.
I would have left too. I wouldn't have stayed for this.
Derek, don't do that. Derek, don't do that. I'm not, I'm not that mean. I'm nice, kind of.
We're not gonna be mean. Lyrica, come back. Oh, it went out. Okay. Oh, I was like, oh my God.
I was gonna be a little piece of nice.
Yeah, it's a little piece, you know, a light to you.
I was gonna be— girl, because I was gonna cuss you out if you left, Lyrica.
That was about it. Is she still there? Lyrica, are you there? I can't hear y'all. You can't? Okay. No.
Can you hear this? Hey, Pastor, I was gonna sing back to her and go, it's a no for me. No, no, no for me.
It's a no for me. She can carry a tune. It's a no for me too as well. I think she can carry Shine, which— no, unanimous, unanimous.
Hey, listen, it was cute, but it was just like the Jabberjaw for me because it's like it gave like Christian music, like she's definitely like into singing Christian music because all the songs was about the Lord. But, um, yes, but I mean, it definitely would have— it was, you know, it's like, okay, girl, Hey man, she wasn't opening her mouth and I'm watching her and it's like from back here, from the back of the throat.
You are holy, oh so, so holy.
The whole time I was going—
I think if she took Lyrica, if she's listening and when she watches this playback I think if she takes some voice lessons. Yes, because she has a deep voice, and most people with deep voices, if they get training, they can really sing. But I think because she's able to carry them Latasha Scott runs, you know, under her breath— it was under her breath— more of like a Summer Walker-like vibe, you know, like I think Summer Walker song, like seriously. So there's potential there.
Okay, y'all are really trying it because you don't— well, no, if she learned how to control her breath, it really could sound great.
No, because Summer Walker does do that. She do that, she really does, but she's really good at it.
One more time, Tasha, what does she do?
Correct, correct, correct. So like, if— listen, she just needs some voice lessons and I think she'll be fine. Me too. Seriously. So she has some internet issues.
It wasn't like nothing to you there.
That does what?
Here's the thing, she sing at a small church. You can tell she, she don't go to no big church where everybody else can sing. She go to a small church. Then will her granny and them be like, go ahead, baby?
No, she would make the choir, but she ain't leave no song down there. What the fuck? I need you to leave the office now because I'm trying to be serious. All right, Jasmine, who we got next? All right, we are still trying to get contestants to win the $300.
Yes, come on, talent!
It is an open link. If you know anybody that is, um, willing to shoot their shot tonight, uh, tell them to jump on up in here. Jasmine, who do we have next? Up next we have Simply Key. Simply Key. Okay. Hey, Simply Key. I need that money. I need that money. If you want to beat my ass, then just do it. I will. Oh, okay. My bad. How y'all doing? I'm good. Simply Key. So which— where are you from, Mama? 313, Detroit. What up, though?
What up?
We need to do a talent show in Detroit. Detroit, let's go! Okay, what's up, Derek? Nice to meet you. I never, I never knew you. Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you as well.
I laugh at all those people you write for.
Listen, you, you got a great personality. I hope that your talent is just as bubbly as your damn personality.
Amen, because if it ain't, I should be ashamed. Tasha K? Yes, baby. I'm a, I'm a wino from the day one. I wish I had some wine. I need some wine, please. Go ahead. I need you to check your inbox because I've been trying to get in the cellar because I got a story for you. Okay, well, we're not doing stories right now anyway. I'm gonna sing, but Sean David Way, you my boo. This is my log. This is my log. Okay, you said rub the log. All right, baby. Okay, rubbing the log. What is your, uh, talent? My talent is singing. Okay, um, I was gonna sing something else, but listening to Lyrica, that song got in my spirit. It got under your spirit? Lyrica? It got in my spirit, so I wanted to sing that song. Oh, so you know what song she was singing? I do. You in the background? What song was she singing? It's a, it's a gospel song, You Are Holy.
Holy? Yeah, it's a great gospel song.
I couldn't make out the words, so I didn't know. Yeah. Okay. All right, so, um, go ahead, Mama. Okay. You are holy, oh so holy. You are holy, oh so holy. Okay. What a privilege and an honor to worship at your throne, to be called into your presence as your own. You are faithful, oh, so faithful. You are faithful, oh, so faithful. My mouth— sorry, my mouth's about dry. You were doing weed or something, you know that caused dry mouth. Cotton mouth. Yeah, it's cotton mouth. You, you got it, it's cotton mouth. I think I've heard enough. Thank you. Derek, go ahead, go ahead.
A minute ago I just told you Lyrica needed to open her mouth. This— yeah, listen, in Lyrica's mouth, this child here got practice on opening her mouth. This— listen, Key, you know how to open your mouth. Lyrica don't know.
I don't know how to close mine.
Listen, let me tell you something. You— that's how you praise the Lord right there.
Amen. There you go. Excuse me, this conversation doesn't sound very holy between y'all. But the Lord is present.
You—
no, you talking about I know how to open my mouth and he talking about that's how you praise the Lord? No, no, not like that. I'm celibate. I mean, I only know how— I don't know how to close my mouth because I'm always talking. Yeah, and I was just like, Lord, let me get my water. I'm celibate. So, um, I want to hear one more song before I let you through. Give me one more, one more.
Um, hold on, can we get something not gospel? Because we don't have a clean community and I ain't got nothing against the—
yeah, this ain't gospel. Okay, okay, let's see. I bust the windows out your car. Okay. And know I did it 'cause I left my mark. Drew my initials with the crowbar. And then I drove off into the dark. I bust the windows out your car. That's a little flat, sorry. You know— oh, hey, I'm trying to think of the words. You know I did it. All I did after 5 whole years of this bullshit, gave you all of me and you play with me. Now that was bad, I'm sorry. It was a cute run. We've heard tonight, so, um, I want to start with Sean. Sean, uh, what are your thoughts?
I think that you are a hidden gem.
Thank you.
It's usually the best singers, the ones that, the ones that just go around, just won't shut up, they usually got a voice on them. And I'm a girl, that was wonderful. I think you have a lot of tools. Um, if we do go through to the next round, I just rest it, and I feel like it, because then you'll be able to get to where you're trying to get to.
But you will definitely that.
You could tell you, you, you sang.
You don't sing, you sang.
I was pleasantly surprised. This—
I was—
I'm thankful.
I love it. Derek?
Yes, for me.
Yes. Okay. Yes. Thank you, baby.
Well, listen, I should have just shut what we call the fuck up and let you sing what you want to sing. And, and you should have stayed gospel, because when you went to this other one, your ass didn't know the damn words nor the notes. Now listen, I got the first note and the last note now. Oh yeah, oh yeah, but it was all that shit in between. Yeah, go back to 'You Are Holy' because that's where you belong, right there.
Now I've been told that before.
Okay, you listen, Sean done gave you a hell of a yes. I do like you. Okay, I do like you. Damn, I like you, Key, and you fuck with me.
Damn. Okay, so what's your answer? Yes or no? I rap too. You want me to rap real quick?
Wrap it up. So I'm gonna sit down and say yes. I'm gonna go on and say yes.
You didn't need— okay, so that's two yeses. You didn't even really need my vote, but my vote is a yes. But here's what I'm gonna say. You got other people that's gonna be coming behind you trying to get that $300 and trying to get that tour. So be saving your voice, go drink some tea, won't need no cotton mouth at the end for the $300 check, uh, check, uh, uh, check with the check. Hey, we're gonna be selling y'all, okay? All right, so, um, it's a yes for me. So just hold backstage until we come back for the final round, and then the winos are going to be voting, not us, okay? Where the hell she go? Jasmine, where did I go? Oh, all right, give it up for, uh, what's your name one more time? You know, I'm bad. Simply Key. And Jasmine, how can we put the names up? Like, why are the names not displayed? Derek's name, my name, Sean's name, and the artist's name. Can we get that done, please? Okay, Sheck say he got it. Don't worry about it, Sheck say he got it. All right, so that way I ain't gotta try to remember and get drunk at the same time. There we go, thank you. You're looking like a bootleg American Idol.
Asking, it shall be given.
Yes. All right, cool. All right, Simply Key, we'll see you at the end of the segment for the— yeah, for the shoot. Thank y'all. All right, all right, we'll see you back. Damn, Jasmine, will you let the people say bye? Y'all said bye 3 times. It don't matter, let us complete. I thought you was complete, my bad. Next we have, uh, Josie. Josie, come on up here. Damn, we didn't even get no feedback. Josie, hey, hey, how y'all doing? All good. Josie the comedian. Hey, okay, are you pregnant? Am I, am I what? Are you Kenyan? No, my dad is from Congo. I'm African, I'm mixed, I'm African-American. And usually when I say that, I don't get the same response as a mixed kid, somebody that's black and white. I feel like that's racist because, um, I don't have an accent and everything. But if, if you want me to, I can turn the accent on for you, you know. My sister, my brothers— hey, my brother Derek, hey, how are you? How are you? My brother Sean, my sister Tasha, how are you? I am fine, sister, how are you? Yeah, yeah, I also, I also do this voice for my man in the room when he wants to go to the motherland. Yeah, I tell him I will do his mandingo. Yeah, I like that. Well, listen, obviously you're doing comedy. Go ahead, shoot your shot, continue, girl, because I'm already laughing. Go ahead. Where'd she go?
She froze.
Josie, Josie, no.
And this time, that's that African Wi-Fi.
I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, I'm here. I had one of my hoes calling and I had to tell them to get off because this was my— okay, do not disturb, do not disturb, do not disturb. One of my garden tools. I got to put on do not disturb. Okay, okay, okay. You know, hey, have you ever been swallowed? You know what I'm saying? They, they calling. Okay, all right, we get ready to get started. Yeah, shoot a shot, let's go. All right, so y'all, I just got off, um, I just got out of a relationship. I broke up with a thumb-sucking battle rapper Yes, that's right, a thumb-sucking battle rapper. I don't want to say no names, but Hollywood Rick, if you don't know him, look him up, look him up. He's trash, okay? He's a 40-year-old man that sucks his thumb and that's a battle rapper. If anybody know anything about a battle rapper, you supposed to, you supposed to come with it. How you a battle rapper and then go home and suck your thumb? Another reason why I broke up with him is because he don't give no oral. How you have an oral fixation, huh? How you have an oral fixation but you don't give no oral, huh? What's that about? What's that? I'm— hey, listen, I might not have had the right fit, if you know what I'm saying. I might not have had the right fit, but I do got a strap-on in my car for my last relationship. That's another story for another day, who I want to get up in there, you know what I'm saying? I like to please my partners, that's all I'm saying. So, um, yeah, oh yeah, we had to get up in there. We had to get up in there. I like that. We had to get up in there. Uh, uh, no pun intended, get up in there. Also, y'all, I just turned 40. Congratulations. Hey, that's right, 4. I just turned 44. I appreciate that. When I say 44, you don't get nothing, so I always like to leave with, I just turned 40 years old, and I just realized that, um, my age is catching up with me, predominantly in my eyes. So, um, I was, uh, going to the grocery store and I wanted to fix me a sandwich. I went and got all the condiments, my lettuce, my tomatoes, my bacon. I got me a little bit of ham. Don't judge, a little bit of ham. And I went home and I fixed it. So I started chopping up my lettuce and I noticed that my lettuce was coming out in just round pieces. I ain't pay that no mind. I put all my condiments together, I got my sandwich, I started eating it, and I was like, damn, this lettuce is extra crunchy. Still didn't pay it no mind. Next day, same thing. Next day, same thing. 3 days. 3 days, y'all. I'm eating cabbage bacon and tomato and turkey sandwich. All I'm saying is I'm getting old, and it's predominantly in the eyes now. And I was wondering why I was so gassy. I look like I'm about 3 months pregnant, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, I, I'm 3 months pregnant because I was eating raw cabbage, just raw, just raw dog in the cabbage, just having a good time in the cabbage. Um, I always— I like to talk to my women. It's only— it's you, it's you and I, Tasha. But hey, this goes to everybody, whoever else is watching. Where all my baddies at? If you in the room, make some noise, give me some hearts, do what you do. If you are— you consider yourself a baddie, do what it do. I'm a baddie, that's right, I'm a baddie. Okay, where all my baddies at that's got to put their bra on from the front? And then turn that mother around to the back. Hey, you know what I'm talking about, my big sister. You know what I'm talking about. And then you got to put your arms in it, uh, like you put on jeans. Uh, yeah. Hey, let's see if you still a baddie. Where are my baddies at that's got to tuck they fupa in they drawers? Oh, you got to tuck your fupa in your drawers. I got two right here. Y'all can't see them. I will pull my shirt up, but it's live and I don't want y'all to think I'm trying to start no OnlyFans. But, um, I got two lines of separation right here. One line for the drawers and one line for the fupa. That's good crockpot coochie though. It's good crockpot coochie up under there. I'm a baddie now. We got to keep it a baddie. Okay, all right, listen, listen, listen, listen. I have heard enough. I have heard enough. Look, I am— I've been laughing since you got up here. Okay, what it do, Tasha K? I've been waiting to speak. I'mma start with Sean first, and then I'mma go, and then I'mma let the comedian, the actual professional comedian, take it home. Okay, so Sean, baby, wait.
Um, I would definitely give Josie 100% for energy because you definitely had a lot of energy. So that is good for any show, any type of show that you're doing. It's great to have a lot of energy. I think when it comes to your punchlines, if you could just get to them like a little bit quicker, just so that people can stay on the same page with you instead of like losing them like within the process. But overall, I think you did a really good job. I do. I think overall you did a great job. And with saying that, it's going to be a no for me.
Moving on. I did not expect that, Josie. I didn't know back there. I was—
what? Loved you?
But no, no, it's cool, it's cool. To each his own, right?
Correct.
Sh, you finna be the villain of the show. Simon. Simon, you remember Simon? Simon hating He's wearing it. He said, I'm about to get this show started. I'm gonna— I say, because I relate to you, I think you are exceptionally funny. I can totally see you on Latasha K Presents opening up tour. And so the answer is yes for me. You funny, bitch. You fucking funny. Okay, yes. So now listen, the comedian, the teacher up here, so it's out of my hand, but I got, I got a wild card. Card though. I got a wild card. So go ahead.
Hey, listen, Sean, I was liking what you were saying about, uh, Josie, the energy, you know, getting to the punchline. Um, I was with you, then I wasn't with you, then I was with you, and I wasn't with you. I was up and down about this. Um, I do think you're funny. I do. I thought— yes, yes, yes. Fuck all that.
Yes.
Oh, okay. All right, I have to use my wild card because I was going to pull— I was going to pull it up.
You was about to pull your card?
Guess what though, whatever it is that Sean said no for, I'mma pray on it that God turn it around to a yes. And whatever it is— and I, I, I rock switch.
No, you don't, Josie.
Yes, you do. Don't do that.
She said she gonna pray about it.
She's wrong. Let me, let me help you with this here, Josie. You wrong. You need, you need more Shons. It's not that you— yo, listen, you need more Shons. You got a car. On your car, there's a battery, and it's a negative and a positive charge. Without both of those, you cannot go forward. So you need a certain level of negativity. Don't, don't get rid of it. Damn, all that, that just means you're doing something right. If somebody's being negative, that means you're doing something right. I like the fact that Sean said no. Hell, because you got two yeses and a no. You don't need everybody to say yes to you. Shit, everybody don't— you know, I could have been a no and they could have said yes. Just be all right with people saying no to you and not liking you.
I want to say this before we move on to the next contestant. When you're doing comedy, and I've noticed this, and trust me, I'm not all the way up to a veteran or anything like that. However, you do have to do comedy that appeals to everybody. And so the reason it was so funny to me is because I related to you. I related by— they don't know what it's like to have triple G's and you got to turn your bra and you got to suck your stomach in because it's got to be tight to hold your titties up and then put that bitch in like that. And then the cabbage joke. Oh my God. Like, I knew that you would have gotten to it a lot faster Okay, you didn't have to do the day one, day two. You could have like, man, I went to the— I went to the grocery store, you know, I'm getting like— this is how I would have done the joke, to be honest with you. I would have been like, man, I got hungry, man, I went to the grocery store, I can't fucking see, glaucoma, I'm over 40 and shit like that. And then I went in the refrigerator, fucked around, made a sandwich, didn't even know I put fucking cabbage on my goddamn sandwich. Next thing you know, I'm fucking farting everywhere, you know. People would have gotten that a lot, right? Right. And then the— you having to build up too. I was a little on the teeter-totter because of the people that came before me. You had the stud that sung a gospel song, you had the crackhead and the, um, weed head dry mouth lady that was up here, and she was itching when she came on, so it threw me for a loop. And then you had the first girl that didn't want to roast nobody, so, you know, I, I was I'm gonna come out the box, I'm gonna push the envelope all the time, but I got it. We on YouTube, I don't know if I can cuss or not, you know. You got you, you doing your thing. So I think you just changed Sean's mind.
No, asshole.
Hey, Sean, you better stand on business. Simon, Simon. Damn, listen, it's a yes for me, Josie. It's a yes for Derek. Congratulations, you moving on to the round. It's up to the winos after this now, so you got to make them like you. So go get them jokes ready and get right to the— get right to the point. And we got men and women watching, so try to make the jokes appealing to everybody.
And how you do something in the final round for coming for everybody?
Say that, say that one more time.
Add your dukes up in the final round for coming for everybody like you just did.
Yeah, you did come for every— Everybody. All right, thank you, Joseph. We'll see you. Stay, stay down here. Don't, don't log off. We'll see you at the end of the show because it's up to the winos now. Okay. All right, thank you. All right, all right, all right, all right. So let's go. That was, that was good. The last two was good.
I'm gonna be honest, I was leaning towards where Sean was at. Tasha, you— I'm gonna tell you why you sold me. Me when you were really laughing. I dealt with the old jokes. I've been to the doctor the last 2 days.
Was she really laughing though?
No, I was laughing.
Hey, Sean, she was—
she's—
it's not that she's not funny. It was like, yo, you weren't giving me what I wanted. But the fact that— because it was a woman joke. Tasha was right. You were giving a female joke and it was like, I— it's funny, I guess. But Tasha really— she sold me on that one. She— that's why I was like, yeah, because shit, if Tasha thought it was funny she a woman, she understand all this shit. I don't—
yeah, but I think she could have made it more of a universal joke because like my husband sometimes got to help me to put on my fucking bra in the morning, you know what I'm saying? Like especially them strapless bras that I wear. People like, where you get them from? And I'm like, if I tell you, I got to kill you. If I tell you, I got to kill you. And our bras be $100.
Can you just do me a favor and not be so positive then drop they ass like you you just did.
No, that's Sean. That's why I asked him to come up here.
Oh no, I'm a douche.
So he really is in real life. I told you when he called Jaguar Wright's ex-girlfriend on TashaKLive.com the other night a dyke on a bike. Really?
Who's next?
Who's next? Jazzy, let's go. Contestant, I'm a little unsure of their talent, but it's Yusuf. Okay, all right, Yusuf, what's your talent? Yusuf, how you doing?
Hey, what's good? Uh, can y'all hear me? Hey, hey, Latasha!
Hey, hey, hey! How you doing?
All right, shout out to the Winos. And just so you know, this is for satire and entertainment purposes. My talent is actually commentary and conversation, so I just wanted to bring y'all what we be something like Put a Cork in It, uh, commentary and podcast, right? Now, Nicki Minaj— oh, can I share the screen? Is that possible?
I know what you said. Wait a minute, we won't want no copyrighted images now, you know what I'm saying?
I'm actually— I actually just have one picture of Nicki Minaj, and then I have posts from your timeline.
Is it a— is it an appropriate picture?
Absolutely, yes. I wouldn't do that to your platform.
Okay, all right. Well, so what is your talent? Is commentary Yes, ma'am.
But I have illustrations for y'all because I wanted everybody to see we all got an ugly twin. Um, I know mine, they call it, uh, Pink Panther. The Black people call me Pink Panther and Chester the Cheeto, and then white people say that I look like Tracy Morgan. But, um, I just wanted to give y'all a couple latest events, like Nicki Minaj popping up out of nowhere. We ain't seen her in a minute. She popped up to prove to everybody that she was pregnant. She came up, puss up to the cam, and y'all know I love me some Nicki Minaj. I ain't got no problem with the barbs or nothing like that, but y'all know she all titties and torso, and she was out there looking real good. Spotted up there to let y'all know that she wasn't pregnant. Then I also had a situation with, uh, Gorgeous Doll. This situation here on Tasha K's Instagram about this Tee Grizzly situation kicking around the hotel. Every week she keep popping up looking like Eliza Thornberry and really needs to stop. And I'm just tired of hearing her. It's like the random bitch to keep popping up everywhere. And, uh, she ran them every time. So I did have a side-by-side illustration for that for y'all. I wanted y'all to see, but use your imagination. You also got Grim Lotto and Downey Spice fighting for the, uh, prize. Mulatto, respectfully, because that's what she had her name. She knew it was offensive to Black people, but she didn't care. So we really don't care how she feels. She's going to get 21 deported. Also, that situation with Alvo and Sharma, uh, uh, what's his name, Crooked Letter. Uh, they had him over talking about syphilis and HIV and all that type of stuff, whatever. They always going back and forth. But y'all know y'all be saying all this stuff about Alvo but never mention how y'all be over there seeing him sprawling mantis on his Instagram with his freak Twitter with his asshole airing out. It's pretty smooth, but I bet you it's full of lube. And then you got some more situation, uh, the Island Boy, he crashed out on Charleston White. They got back and forth. He got the nerve because he looked like Sid the Sloth and he was a retarded baby too, talking about that other baby looked like her Ratchet Rock Jr. And so I didn't even know that they even had no pussy because last time I saw he was French kissing his twin. And then, uh, Soulja Boy tell him please to drink some water because he's definitely dehydrated and this is what's wrong with y'all. And he's sitting there, oh, they always trying to keep a black man down for what we do with the black man down. You know, you beat that woman upside her head and stole her pussy and had her hostage like that, and the judge said so too. So I don't know what you're still making excuses for. Okay, and, uh, the other day with, uh, that Megan— I mean, that, uh, Nasal Beast interview that you did, Tasha K, that was real cute. It was some details that we didn't realize was going down. Now we know. But, um, she got the nerve to talk. Like I said, a lot of them be looking like Roger off American Dad when they be wearing them different costumes trying not to get deported by customs. And then I had another thumbnail that I wanted you to see because I got some retarded beasts Lump Lump costumes available.
All right, let me stop you right there. Let me stop you right there. You about to— you about to have me back in court.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Okay, but you got the nerve coming in here. You about to have me back in court. All right, so, all right, Yusuf. All right, Yusuf. So, um, that was different. Um, I'mma start with Derek first.
No, no, here's the thing. I mean, listen, listen, Yusuf, I, I think, I think that it may be— maybe it's because I'm looking at it as a talent show. And I ain't gonna lie, man, you just— listen, I got fired from a job at a call center, and that's what you reminded me of. And so, no, I don't know what this flower— I don't know you, but the gold might best. And I don't know. No.
Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback.
He said no 3 times. All right, Sean.
Yousef, I like your name. I like the name Yousef. I don't know if I hate you or if I like you. I really don't know. I'm like torn because I do feel like you were nervous. It seems that way. But I'm gonna say yes. Thank you so much, Sean. I watch your shows.
Hold on, hold on. Do you want to— you, you find him attractive?
And not even a negative way. It's just— but no, just, I want to let him through.
What, what was— he—
again, I think he was really nervous. I think if he was given a second shot and to do something else I know something about your voice.
Can you sing?
Yes, I can sing.
I'm putting in overtime to make sure our love goes into overdrive. Putting overtime to take my love in overdrive.
Sean, know this nigga?
I don't know him.
I've never met him before in my life.
Oh my God, I almost peed on myself.
He came up here, I'm like, by his tone of his voice where he was talking really fast, like he can hold his breath and whatnot, and just like really like not—
You know this nigga?
Do I know you?
I do like his name. I like the name Yusuf. I think that's Yusuf.
You saying—
I do not know him.
No, only on YouTube.
Only on YouTube, Tasha, because I be up here reporting on everything. And, um, I'm a little bit nervous but not really. I'm excited. I met you before. I went to your live show. I was up here twice before with Shay Means, all type of stuff. I've been reaching out to you, Tasha. He was on your show too, and I know you gave up working with a lot of dudes because a lot of people crossed you, but like, they fucked up the opportunity for somebody like me. And, um, I'm just proud of you.
I still work with people. I work with Derek.
Well, I appreciate the opportunity.
You said— oh my God, like, now he got my heartstrings.
No, Latasha, don't do that, because now you trying to make it seem like I know him and all of this. I got to be attracted to the man.
You know I'm spreading rumors now, because I'm like, Derek, don't it seem like they know each other?
Them niggas definitely—
hey, hey, I don't know him. Hey, hold on, hold on.
You remember Django? Hey, you remember Django when Samuel L. Jackson said them two niggas know each other?
Yes.
No, I would definitely admit if I knew who he was.
All right, so here's what—
go ahead, go ahead.
You didn't vote. You said you said going and going and going and going. I'm like, can you sing?
Because people that can sing can usually just keep going and go like hold the note. So it's like, as fast as you talking, you could probably hold a note.
Can you sing?
So that's it.
That's where it came from. All right, Yusuf. So, um, you do look nervous, Yusuf. And, um, I love that you just shot your shot. And I liked how you didn't like let that nervousness like overtake you to where you had to think about it. It came right off the tongue, which means you are naturally talented. Like, and if we tweak it, like, and kind of give you the— because, you know, there are certain steps to being like successful, right? And so once you get those steps, your talent, and being that you're able to overlook your nervousness, you'll go far in life, seriously. With this. And so, um, I, I'ma say yes, but I want to say yes to the singing.
Oh, so you gotta let him switch his talent? Because I think you should too.
Yeah, I think you should switch your talent.
I think you should too. Uh, I mean, if that's the only thing, if it's take it or leave it, I'll take it. But I think you guys are underestimating me because—
no, I'm not, I'm not underestimating me. Here's why. Because a platform like You Talking People are going to come listen to you anyway, but you really have like a really, really good singing voice, and I think you should use your platform to push your singing voice as well too.
I hate singing. It invites the devil.
Those are usually the best singers.
I like to talk.
They done already told you.
Yeah, bro, I'll take it. I'll take it. Thank you so much. I just don't know what I've seen.
I don't know anyone else.
You got, you got about 30 minutes to get it together.
Hey, take Sean, he'll tell you what to sing.
That was cute.
That was definitely cute.
You gonna let him have to make me change my mind?
Like he not happy we said yes? You used to bring your ass back here and sing something. Okay, I'm about to go find the song.
Is it tonight? Tonight.
Okay. I'll be back.
All right, go find a song and get back on the live.
Thank you.
No problem, Yusuf. I love it. Sean, so Tasha, you denied him, girl. I did not. I denied him for the talking because he's good at it. It's just, it's easy. I think he's taking the easy way out with the talking. Yes.
I mean, we don't know if he's like a great singer. He was decent. His voice, he has to tell me more.
He literally just put it down and was like, like, it was like, wait a minute. I'm saying yes to the singing.
Me too. Singing, yes.
Because the singing will get him through doors that talking can't, and then the talking just is a platform where people can come hear him sing and talk.
Correct.
I like it.
I like it too.
Both of y'all crazy as hell, but do you think—
all right. Okay, I could tweak him in the commentary area. That's easy. I could tweak him. He'll be, he'll be ready to go in no time, you know what I'm saying? But the singing though, like, he truly got a voice. Yeah, yeah. And he did it. It was so easy. He's not shy.
So ready to sing.
Exactly.
And then he gonna say, I don't like— yeah, I don't know. It was— I don't like that.
That's why I say when he kind of tried to change my mind at that moment in time, because I'm just like, you You may not like it, but it's a challenge. Run with it, see where it gets you.
What you mean what I have on? It's a free influencer outfit. He talking about what the hell Tasha K got on? It's free. It is.
And y'all cute in the chat. I do not know him. He can't pull up DM. I don't even know he out of YouTube.
He's done. Shawn, though, let me tell you something. Especially when you said, can you sing? I said, oh, he know that boy.
I don't know how fast he was talking.
I didn't pick up on that.
I talk extremely fast, like I can go and go and go and go, but I can also sing. So that's why I'm like, I wonder if he can sing.
Let's hear something, Shawn. Let's hear something real quick.
It's not about me.
This is— I compete for the $300. Get a little spicy here.
I mean, listen, Sean finna get his, uh, $100 finder's fee from this boy when he wins tonight.
I'll send you your 50.
Yeah, I'll send you your 50. Yeah. All right, next, next, next. Jasmine, who we got waiting backstage? The $300 is still up in the air. The final finale coming up. Let's go, Jasmine. Uh, our next contestant hasn't stopped singing backstage since I let her backstage, so hopefully she'll, she'll stop to talk to us for a second. But it's Mama Lou. Mama Lou, come on, Mama Lou. Okay. Mama Lou, Mama Lou, she had a revival. She can hear you, Mama Lou. They walking around out for offerings, he can't stop. Yeah, I wasn't sure about that one. I wasn't sure. Sorry. She look like she plugged in the church live streaming.
Hey, and you got to know church. That's the holiness church.
That was holiness She got drums and piano. She got drums, piano, and singing.
And she was offbeat.
Hey, son, could you be on beat if you playing the drums and the piano at the same time and singing?
She is a choir.
She is a choir.
She gonna get a blessing tonight, but it won't be from us.
All right, all right, Mama Lou, whatever you want to stop, but she can't right now.
Oh, she done put it back up.
Mama Lou, you, you back? Yeah, okay, hold on, y'all. I think she said Mama Lou. I did. Mama Lou, you, you was, you was, you was getting it, girl. You ain't watch her us practicing for you, boo? That was practice? That was practice. Okay, where you from, Mama Lou? I'm from St. Louis, Missouri. You might remember me. I'm the young lady in the cowboy hat. Oh, yeah. Y'all was out there fighting in St. Louis at my comedy show. Y'all crazy down there. We need you to fix your microphone so we can hear your talent. OK. Can you hear me now? I can now. So what's your talent? I am a singer. OK. Are you going to sing? Yes, I got my band here. We was waiting on you, so they gonna play for you while I sing, and I'm gonna put these drumsticks down so I don't mess them up. All right, okay. All right, all right, y'all. What you about to say? What's the name of the song you about to sing? We gonna sing Ain't Nobody. Ain't Nobody. Okay, all right, let's go. By Chaka Khan. All right, let's go. Here we go. Hello, Mama Lou! Mama Lou!
Go on, Mama Lou, girl!
Shut up, your ass! Jag! You talking about Jaguar? Where's Jaguar Wright? We need her tonight. Where she at? Open your eyes so you can see us. Lord, she don't want to take a bread. As loud as it is, probably hear. All right, drop Mama Lou down.
Thank you.
I'mma give Mama Lou another chance to sing without the band. Yeah, that was, that was interesting. That was, that was a little I don't even— do you think that was really her singing or Chaka Khan?
It was her.
I just seen really big, so I, I feel like she smoked cigarettes. Um, so those breaths were really— I think it was her. You gave me free— correct. Screaming in that microphone.
Y'all, we still got $300 we trying to give away. Come on, y'all, come on in here, hit the link. It is open mic night, y'all. Listen, you got a talent, we let you through.
Jasmine, let me get this money.
Yes, Jasmine, who's next? Up next is Melody. Melody, come on, Melody. How you doing, Melody? Hey, how y'all doing? I'm so sorry y'all see me all discombobulated. Excuse me and everything, I wasn't ready. I just came on live. I was looking for Tasha K to see what she was talking about today. Saw you had a talent show. And I might not be able to do much, but I'm gonna show a working me for this $300. All right, so where are you from? I'm from Illinois. Okay, shout out to Illinois. So what you got? What's your talent today? What you gonna do? Um, I'm gonna sing. All right, let's go.
Okay.
Where do they get off telling you that I am not the least bit empty? You just tell me how to help somebody think they know what's in my heart. Why you laughing at me?
No, keep singing.
This was not that funny. I can't. Keep singing. That it won't happen, it won't happen, just as long as I'm around. Why do some people have to tell you lies? I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I love you more than words can never show. I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't explain why do some people have to be this way. I can't take no more, I can't ignore, I have to let You know what's in my heart. If I never ever say that I love you, just remember, boy, I'm saying I do. You can know that from this moment, you were always in my heart. Okay, Melody.
All right, Mel.
Okay, Melody. I see your mama gave you that name because you You know you got a little melody to you. I can't sing, but I sure try. Okay, baby. Okay. Um, I'm gonna start with Derek.
Listen, here, here, here, here's my thing for you, Melody. I don't know if you have a man, not sure if you got a man, but if you promise to use part of that $300 to take me on a date, I say yes.
Oh, I got you, bro. Roof Chris it is.
Absolutely, girl. Rue Chris?
No, right downtown Chicago.
Listen, I don't need the Rue Chris, baby.
Just take me. What the fuck? You trying to get a cut like Sean? You just accused Sean.
Sean invited somebody, I can too.
Oh, okay.
So y'all know each other? I have a job too, and I'm single. Y'all got to say that for my dating.
Yeah, he know her. If I know you, said he know Melody.
No, I think— no, hey, real talk, Melody, I think if you were serious, you could actually sing. I think you bullshitting and playing around, but I actually think you can sing. I want to see you win the $300 just because I want to see you win the $300. You my favorite person so far. Hell yes.
Wow. Thank you, thank you very much. And then he asked her out.
Gross.
All right, Harvey Weinstein, come on. Uh, Sean Davey Wayne, absolutely.
So, um, Derek said he feels like you can sing and, you know, all of that stuff. He feel that way.
Um, um, I watch your show, Sean, so I know you coming with the heat.
Correct, correct, correct, correct. Correct. You said you can't sing, and I agree. Um, I think that you can carry a tune. I think that you absolutely could Drake the situation.
Girl, you sound like my stepdad. He told me the same thing, Sean.
Absolutely. Tell him to subscribe because we, we have— we like-minded. Um, but yes, I think that an A for effort, and I would definitely say you had energy right out the gate, even with coming up with no profile. No grease, no nothing, no condit— nothing.
Real.
You, you did that confidently. So I will say A for effort. I will say effort.
But what is— what is— is it yes or no? No for me. Correct. All right, Melody. Well, I said I couldn't sing, so it ain't like it's hurting my feelings. I said I— but you shouldn't say that though, because you actually can hold a tone. You sing a lot better than Keyshia Cole, for sure.
And a lot of people we had on here today, Lyrica at least. She damn sure better than Lyrica.
Derek, it sound like Derek knows you or either likes you. I don't know what this is. We don't know each other. I've never met him a day in my life. I've never been on a live before. All of this is new. Okay, fire. And, and you know what? No, you didn't tell her to comb her hair, Sean. You told her to comb— he's right, because you know what, today was my day off. I said I wasn't doing nothing. I worked 10-hour days a day, Monday through Friday, 10 hours a day, and I do CNC programming. So today I just wanted to wind down.
I got you.
And, and that's, that's just what it was.
I wasn't—
I love it. We love it. We love you. I saw Tasha K doing something. I love what she does all the time.
Thank you.
And I came to support in my raw talent in my wrong skin. And I think you should take it serious and come back when it's serious. Yes, ma'am. Well, you know, I think it ain't gonna never be serious, Tasha. I was trying to win a $300. No, the singing got to be serious, girl. I can't take you on tour with the wine holder. You can't sing, they gonna throw wine bottles at you, girl. We're doing a whole tour. We don't want none of that.
We don't want—
you'll be the main I know you ain't make me pay no ticket to hear this shit. Like, you know how y'all are.
Melody, don't worry, when we come to Illinois, I got you. I'll put you on my list.
Don't worry, I'm gonna come to the show. I support Tasha K, I support Sean Tavy Way. I subscribe to both of their channels. I've been watching them both for years, so nothing unexpected happened on this live with me being on this live. I expected Sean to come with the raw, funny talent. I expected Tasha K to keep it real. They both said I carry a tune. I've been told that my whole life. I can't sing, but I can carry it. Good in the bathroom, don't you? Huh? You sing good in the bathroom, don't you? I'm in the bathroom.
I can't—
I knew that. So I can give you what it is. I thought you went in the bathroom because I was just like, it looked like you was in the living room a little bit, so I didn't know because it was a window. Um, and you sing good in the car, right? So we need you to sing good everywhere. So take it serious and then come back. But you can't— you do carry a tune. Thank you, Tasha. Okay, no problem. So y'all have a beautiful evening, and I'm gonna continue to watch the show. I love it. And come back now when you get them voice lessons. Yes, ma'am. Let's go, let's go, let's go! Bye! Aren't you engaged, right?
That's why I said she's on live.
First of all, first of all, y'all listen here, I, I'm, I'm in on the show And, uh, my business is my business, and y'all don't need to be telling my business to nobody.
What you mean her?
We're team her.
Like, we're team her.
Like, me and Melody share something, uh, just like Sean and Yusuf.
What, a Chick-fil-A sandwich?
Like, what do y'all share? Waffle fries?
What is y'all sharing?
Son, I was gonna use that $300 to take her to the salon.
What, we not feeling like— don't he got a whole fiancée?
I gotta listen. I do got a whole woman at the house. Listen, I'm just playing with the baby. However, I did like her. I thought she was good. I did like Melody. I liked her.
If y'all like—
we crazy about you.
All right, Destiny. I like all these names tonight. Melody, Lyrica, Destiny. Like, we're going somewhere. Hey, Destiny. Hi, Tasha. How are you? Hi, everyone. My name is Destiny K. I'm from Charleston, South Carolina, and I'm going to sing Jennifer Hudson, and I'm telling you. Okay, now before you sing, you better sing because I am not a fan of Jennifer Hudson's voice. Oh, okay, okay, okay, All right, Destiny. I like all these names tonight. Melody, Lyrica, Destiny. Like, we're going somewhere. Hey, Destiny! Hi, Tasha! How are you? Hi everyone, my name is Destiny K. I'm from Charleston, South Carolina, and I'm going to sing Jennifer Hudson, um, And I Am Telling You. Okay, now before you sing, you better say it because I am not a fan of Jennifer Hudson's voice. Oh, okay, okay, okay. Okay, so you better kill it. I'ma let them two have this round, so go ahead, girl. Go. Okay, I don't want to be biased, but go. Okay. You're the best man I'll ever know. There's no way I can ever go, darling. There's no way, no, no, no, no way I'd live here without you. I'm not living without you. I don't wanna be free. I'm staying, I'm staying. And you, and you, and you, you're gonna love me. Yeah, you're gonna love me. Oh, okay. Oh, you want to keep going? Yeah, but here's what I need you to do. I need you to stop rocking, okay, and sing, because your voice was coming in and out of the mic and it was hard for us to really catch your notes. But I, I, I like what I heard.
That's a—
and I like that it's not so rough.
That's a remote.
Yeah, it was a remote. I got— I like the remote though. If you need the remote, that's fine. No, I get it.
So that you can see. That's fine.
Yeah, but do it again. Do it again for me one more time. And I— and I'm telling you, I'm not going. You're the best man I'll ever know. There's no way I can ever go, darling. There's Yes, yes, yes. You're gonna love me. I'm a little nervous, but no, no, you're actually really good. So, uh, we're gonna start with Simon. Oh, so, um, we're gonna start with Simon. Go, girl!
I think that You can sing. I do think you can, and I think you're really pretty. But I do think you should choose a different song because you can tell that you, you do have levels to your voice. But I think you should pick something that complements your voice.
Okay, okay.
And that song is such a big song, and people have such expectations when it comes to a song that big. You know, when I— Jennifer Holliday's version, not Jennifer Oh, um, yeah, just saying. But I think that if you chose a different song, that you would shine. And I think that you shine. You definitely show vocal range, vocal potential. It just gets pitchy when it comes to certain points because that is a hard song to sing. Yes, with nerves, like, it really makes it harder, um, to sing a song like that. But I definitely think if you chose a different song, it could showcase the talent that you do have inside. So it's a yes for me.
Simon. Well, I would—
I think she has, but this was the one of the first people that has opened their mouth vocally that has true potential with their voice. Just a different song choice, I think.
What song would you suggest? Maybe— why don't you— okay, yeah, give her a song.
Better than you, so—
okay, but come back and sing it in the final round. When, when is the final round? Tonight. Tonight? Okay, okay. What? Uh, if Derek said—
oh, okay, okay, you said come back in the final round.
Let's see what Derek is saying. Derek, what are you saying?
Uh, I like you better with the remote.
Oh, oh, okay.
I like you a lot better with the damn remote.
I think, Derek, you are so nasty. Remote, he is so nasty. No, no, no, no, no. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hey, Tasha, I promise to God Hey, that's why I kept leaning in, because I was trying to see what that was. No, no, no, no, I wouldn't be— I promise to God I wouldn't be nasty. I promise.
I—
oh, I see what— no, no, I wouldn't. No, baby, it wasn't. I just thought she was better when she had the remote in her hand. I thought she was— I just thought she was. Um, so let me—
is it a yes or a no, nigga?
Correct.
It's gonna be a no, though.
You saying no, Derek?
Yeah, I'm saying no.
No, wait, Destiny, hold up. You got to get 2 votes out of 3.
Oh, the reason I'm saying no, I just didn't— I didn't love it. And I— and I— and you know what I was thinking about? I think she can't sing. I was thinking about her being on tour, and I was going, I don't know if that's— I don't know. She was cool, she could sing, but Different songs.
Well, I guess it's up to me, Destiny. It is. I got your destiny. I can come back and sing a different song. Hold on, Destiny, hold up. Okay, you, you will be able to come back and sing a different song because I'm gonna push you through to the, to the final round to compete against the other singers for $300. I think it's the best voice that we've heard tonight. And, um, I'm not a fan of Jennifer Hudson, and you had me, and you gave me chills, and I have to go with my body reaction. So, um, I liked it, and I think if you had like a good sound system and a microphone system, people would have chills up their, their spine as well too. So it's gonna be a hell yes for me, and I'm not a Jennifer Hudson fan. Yes. Okay, thank you. All righty. No problem. Thank you, Destiny. Stay, do not leave. Go find another song and you're gonna come back at the end of the show. We're gonna— in about 30 minutes, 30 minutes, which will be 9 PM Eastern Standard Time, and then we're gonna wrap it up and then we're gonna let you guys compete for the winos. We're gonna put all y'all names in the chat and then the winos are gonna vote. Okay, okay, okay. All right, all right, all right. See you later.
Damn, Jasmine got the moves. I love her.
And I'm— all right, so, uh, Derek, I think you were being a little biased.
Agreed.
I wasn't impressed like y'all was. Why?
Because she had her hair done? Was that the issue? Yeah, you got some nerve.
Was it because—
what?
Hey man, I'm used to being around nappy-headed women. Don't worry about what I could tell.
You were trying to get one on the tour, so I mean, you know, I can see. I get it.
No, listen, I just— I don't know. I thought she had a decent voice, but I don't know.
I just—
I wasn't with it. Y'all said no to Quinn and yes to her. Come on, man.
Who's Quinn, right?
The first comedian, the clean comedian.
Well, if you want to mentor Quinn on the side, you can. And I told Quinn she could come back.
Yeah, she can come back.
And yeah, yeah, we weren't that mean. We just wanted to see her. The dress was— if she even— she was dressed like a librarian, but the dress was too big.
Yeah, it was an eyesore.
Sean killed me talking about that woman and her clothes. That was just a little much, Sean.
I'm sorry, she was—
okay, I, I am trying to find talent that can entertain the Winos on tour. We are going on an international tour next year at the start of 2026. We kicking it off on my birthday, March 10th, and they got to be able to stand up against you guys. Come on now, seriously. And the Winos, and you know the Winos are worse than the Apollo crowd.
Yeah, rough.
Yeah, she got a place. She got it. But I could see her with her little band opening up for us. I could see it if she could sing another song. Yeah, we'll see. It's just the beginning of the season. We got 9 episodes, uh, left before we—
we do.
Okay. All right, all right, the link is open if you guys want to come on up here. Now it's open mic night virtual. Okay, all right. So Jasmine, who do we have next? Up next we have Nina. Who?
Nina. Nina.
Nina. All right, Nina, what up? Hi, where you from? I'm from Detroit. Shout out to Detroit. I told— we gonna be kicking off the tour in Detroit. It's gonna happen. It's gonna happen. It's definitely gonna be me that you kicking it off with, so let's get it. Oh, she claiming territory. Okay, all right. So what you gonna be doing tonight? What's your talent? I sing. Okay, all right. Well, let's, let's, let's hear it, girl. Let's go. For you I will lay my life on the line. For you I will follow For you, I would die. With every breath, with all my soul, I give my world. Now give it all. Put all your faith in me, and I'll do anything. I will cross the ocean. That's a very— that's a very hard song to sing. Yeah, and I'm nervous too, so please excuse me. It's okay, it's okay. I can pick a different song if y'all need me to. Please. Okay. Um, uh, yeah. With all my heart, I love you, baby. Stay with me and you will see my arms will hold you, baby. Never leave, 'cause I believe I'm in love. Sweet love, hear me calling out your name. I feel no shame, I'm in love. Sweet love, don't you ever go away. You will always be this way. Okay, okay. And that's a very hard song to sing too. Yeah. Okay, uh, what happened? Hold on for a second, Nina. Jasmine, what happened with the sound? Was that Derek? I guess maybe when he went out and went in. Derek, go back out and come back in. Something wrong with your sound. You check— your sound changed.
I did it. Okay.
All right, all right. Okay, um, yeah, he gonna go back out and come back in. Um, while he's going out, coming back in, uh, you want to start with Simon?
Absolutely. So, okay, I think that you have a great tone. I think if you're going to sing songs, um, with having a bigger voice, I think that like a Jasmine Sullivan song would have been great. To hear because, you know, she goes there and, you know, her voice reaches. So I think that if you go more in that realm, then I think that people will be able to appreciate, um, your vocals. But you are really pretty. I love your confidence. You're extremely confident, and I applaud you. And I would tell you to keep on singing, just not here. It's going to be a no for me. Was great.
Damn, correct. You sure do know how to body slam somebody. Boy, take you up, take you up with a kill, baby. This is what we do.
This is what we do. It's hard decisions we have to make.
It's hard decisions. Uh, while we're waiting on Sandman to come by, uh, back, uh, Derek J, what's up with Derek? All right, so you need two to go through. I, I want you to have a fair choice, okay? So this is hard, man. Is it? It's hard because she sang all my songs that I use— that I, I sing to, to clean my house, you know. Calling out your name, we will always be the You know, you know, see, you're right. And I don't know if I was bobbing because I just like them songs or because you really can sing. That's the hard part for me. I'm gonna need Derek to get his ass back up in here because you can see, like, you can sing. All right, let me—
that's the hardest part about when you join a talent competition with songs. It's knowing the right song that fits your voice because you want to be able to showcase your talent. Like, you don't want to be— nobody wants to be karaoke, you know, unless you're at a karaoke bar. But vocally, it's hard to choose a song that truly fits.
Do you know any Jasmine Sullivan songs? I do. Can you give us one? Um, I was doing Broken heart. I probably always have these ugly scars, but right now I don't care about that part. I bust your windows out your car. All right, I've heard enough. I've heard enough. Okay, it's, uh, Sean, are you changing your mind?
Absolutely not.
It's a yes for me. I do think you got some competition.
That it's starting off with Jasmine to actually like know the breaths that you're supposed to take. And you have beautiful runs, I would just cut them. So just cut your runs. So your runs are beautifully done, but when a person is hearing a song, they're literally visioning what you're about to say. They know the song before you say it. So if your love— your run is longer than what they're visioning in their head from what they've already heard than—
but you got to put your own stank on it. You can't just do—
you do, you, you absolutely do. But if you're going to run, it's better to run where they're not running. So if you're going to hit a run with a Jasmine Sullivan, if you're going to hit her run, just hit her run as is and then make a run into your own, you know, like that. That is how you, you know, how I would run with a run, just so you don't throw people off, is, is my thing. But your voice is good. You do have a good voice. You sound great.
It's, it's a yes for me. Um, I saw you do 3 for 3. They all sounded good. You do have some competition at the end. I do want to let you know, so to go up for $300, and, um, if you make it through for that, you know, you got to compete against other people that are going to win on other episodes.
Okay, so I suggest for me, Derek, I'm gonna say, uh, she needs to run back over here in 30 minutes and do it again because I liked her. Uh, she does need to choose a better song. I think you got a really good voice. I just don't think that you chose the right song for you, but I, I see the talent. I see the potential. I think, I think you could be dope. So it's a yes for me.
All right, girl, we'll see you at the end of the show. Don't go nowhere, okay? So just stay down, okay? Jasmine will be communicating with you backstage. Okay, thank you, y'all. All right, cool, cool, cool. The feedback ain't on my end. Hold on for a second, Shake. What's going on?
Because you've been trying to talk to me the whole I believe it was Queen.
Okay, Shay, you've been trying to talk to me the whole show. You know I'm working. I cannot fix your damn plate. What's going on? He always act like I'm supposed to be a wife in the middle of a damn show. Uh, yeah, he be coming up like I'm like, like I'm not working. Like, imagine if I was a nurse. He just can't come on the floor to my aid. Hey, can Did you hear him?
I was trying. What'd he say?
Jasmine, mute me for a second.
No, no, keep it on.
Lord, she about to get with him. Lord, she about to crush that man.
Listen, so Sean, you didn't like this last lady?
No, I liked her.
You just said no to her.
Correct.
You want to know why I said yes?
No, I want to know.
Go ahead.
Hey, Dad, Dad, because I was so about to tell him. Well, listen, no, go ahead. Sean said I didn't like women who her hair wasn't done, and since her hair was done, I felt like I needed to give her yes.
Oh, that's what you do with that?
Okay. I got it.
You're right, Derek.
All right, I have been married 20 years, so I'll find your screen shaking.
Everything all right over there?
Check that ass.
There you go.
No, no, no. What? Yeah, not my homeboy. Yeah, he did and did and did.
Well, he let you say that on camera. That's what I like. Go ahead, Shaq. That's how I would hit it.
Yeah, because he ain't got nothing else he can say. Oh yeah, oh yeah, there you go, Seth.
Talk your talk.
Y'all ready for the next talent? All right, let's go. What's next? We have Marcella. Hey, Marcella. Hi. Hey, how are you? Meeting yourself. Hope all is well. Okay, what— you a singer and a songwriter? I see you got your stuff already up. That's what I'm talking about, you came prepared. Yes, ma'am.
You look so nervous.
You nervous? You nervous? I have a little nerves, but I'm trying to throw them off. Okay, all right. So, um, where are you from? I'm from a small town called Newnan, Georgia. Oh, shout out, you're a country girl. Love it, I love my country girls. Okay. You grew up singing in church? Um, all my life, basically. Yeah. Okay. All right, well, cool. Well, go ahead. What you gonna sing for us tonight? I know you're singing. Um, I've been on the seesaw between Beyoncé version of So Amazing and Anita Baker's Giving You the Best That I Got. So which one would y'all like to hear?
Simon sound like Beyoncé? Your voice is kind of like a lower tone like hers. I would say the Beyoncé song.
Beyoncé? Okay, I love her tablecloth. That's so cute. Thank you. No problem. Love has truly been good to me. Not even one sad day or minute have I had since you come my way. I hope you know I gladly go anywhere you take me. It's so amazing To be loved, I'd follow you to the moon in the sky. I'd go all along, and it's so amazing, amazing. I can stay forever. Ever, love me forever, ever, 'cause we got amazing love. Truly, it's amazing, amazing love brought us together. I will love you forever, ever, 'cause we got amazing love. Wow, the tablecloth told it all. I knew she could say by her tablecloth, ain't nobody getting her table dirty. So she got that one from, from the Dollar Tree, and you wipe it off, spill your Kool-Aid and everything, and your collard green juice right there. All right, I'm gonna start with Derek.
Well, I'm gonna say this: when you first came on the screen, you was giving me, uh, Players Club vibes. I thought you were gonna say, Ebony, you gonna dance to Kenny's bachelor party?
And so that's it. Yeah, at least the bag will be gotten. That's all.
Well, let me just say this. I think, I think you can sing. Um, I, I, I don't even want to compare you to anybody, like when you said it's Beyoncé, but I think you can sing. I'd like to see you come back, so it's a yes for me.
Thank you. All right, it's Sean.
I think that you have a beautiful registry with your voice. I think that you do know what to sing and how to hold your breath throughout certain notes, because you do have a soft, like raspy tone, um, to your voice as well. It's very unique, you know, like a Toni Braxton, you know, sometimes Mariah Carey takes her voice there too, that rasp tone, which is hard to do. It's not an easy thing to do vocally. Um, I think that Do you think that you could be on like a tour though and sing in front of bigger audiences? Because you do give me really shy, really timid, you know, and whatnot. And this is a tour too. Do you think you could do that?
To be honest with you, I get all of these nerves and jitters with smaller crowds, but when I have like bigger crowds or something, like I can do karaoke and all that stuff and not really focus on a certain individual. But when it's bigger numbers or something, then I'm not like, okay, I cannot really just see this person's facial expressions while I'm singing and all of that going through my head. So I can— I'm so used to doing stuff. Like when I was in high school, we did shows and stuff, and we sold out our theater. So I'm I'm used to pushing it out of the way and being like, okay, there's something about that moment. When I get to that moment, it just— everything just go away. But it's better said than done.
Okay, well, with all that being said, I'm gonna have to definitely say no. Go ahead, Tasha.
I'm sick of him.
I'm, I'm truly sick of him. I'm sick of him.
I'm sick of him. I'm, I'm sick of him, Tasha.
I'm sick of him. Sean, wait a minute.
We're gonna have to fight. I'm gonna have to, I'm gonna have to mute my mic and come behind you backstage. We're gonna need a camera backstage. What? Sean!
Come on, man.
What happened, Derek? No, you don't. Sean, answer me. What happened? Why would you say no?
Because I just don't feel like she's ready.
No, I tell you why he said no.
I know exactly why.
Going to a studio?
Is she ready to get on a stage and in front of multiple people, your audience, each night? I don't— I wouldn't bank my money on it. I would. I don't think she's ready vocally. She's ready. Yeah, she ready for a studio. She sure is.
Yeah, because you cannot see her on the record. I can turn the camera and do some dancing and singing if that's what you want. It's okay. Okay, listen, here's what I love— Sean, I swear to God, that's why he's here. That's At this moment. So it's okay. Do you think we could get some better Wi-Fi from you though? I was trying to with my iPhone, but my YouTube is logged in on this other phone. I can try to sign in, um, log in on the other iPhone and come back. Yeah, try to log in on your other phone when you come back for the final, uh, round because we're gonna be starting that round in about 7 minutes. Um, so yeah, if you can. If not, keep this phone open, but if you happen to pop up on the other one, we'll drop this one down. Okay, okay, but it's a yes for me. It's, it's an absolutely— yeah, you have a gorgeous sultry voice. I love it. Thank you. I wasn't— I'm not shooting a bird at you, Marcella, okay? This is not for you. He got on the Darth Vader clothes too. We'll see you for the final round, Marcella. Thank you, baby. You have a gorgeous— have a blessing.
All right, Sean, use some big words like your registry and then gonna say no.
She has a beautiful Registry. She, she does— she did her thing.
Why is y'all looking at me?
This dude crazy, man.
It was the Players Club for me. I, I was— I thought she was— she can sing.
I'm not saying she she cannot sing. She absolutely can, but is she ready to be on stage? That's the whole nother— a whole nother question.
Diamond is always ready to be on stage.
He said Diamond, all you saw— you see her as a stripper singer?
Hey, do what you got to do. Make that money, don't let it make you.
True. You don't get a Honda Accord like your cousin.
I know she can cook though. Anybody with one of them tablecloths can cook because they cook all day. They don't want nothing staying on their tables. I know she can cook.
Like, I'm being shady, but you gonna say something about that tablecloth knowing that we walk—
I know she can make a strong rib.
Sean, you got a whole point over there with that one because she, she got a cast iron skillet tablecloth.
Correct, correct.
Cornbread.
Are y'all ready for her next challenge? Who is the next challenge? The next talent is Holly.
Holly. Okay, Hollywood.
Holly.
Yes. Hi, Holly. Hey, Latasha. I'm fine. Okay, how you doing? Where you from, Holly? I'm from Brooklyn, New York. Shout out to BK. Okay, cool. You a rapper? How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? I'm, I'm 38. 30? Yes. Now you look young. Thank you. Okay, girl, 38, right? Okay. All right, so you rapping? Yes. Y'all ready? Yes. All right. All my life, people have doubted me. Corny ninjas trying to get cut off me. His ex man want to follow me. Haters talk, I don't let it bother me. Bird gang, nigga, I'm in a higher tree. That's why I'm on a higher plane. Baby, just give me space. Baby, get out my way. I'm doing good these days. Eat a lot of steak, no empty plate, leave food on the thing and I ain't gotta scrape. Get so much love, all they ever do is hate. All I ever did was lose, now I'm trying to win. I was like the Knicks, never giving up, sticking to the script, but I never felt stuck. Come on, bluff, nigga. What? This ain't what you want? My kid like my gun and I keep it tucked. Don't act pressed and go and press your luck. I want to spend time, but I don't got enough. I'm so high, I don't give a fuck. See your shit in reverse, nigga. Pass up, puff. Only with the big dog, nigga. Rough, rough. Niggas turn victim when the beef come. Ain't about the light, but wanna really act tough, tough, nigga. They never believed in me. Even Ray Charles could see it in me. I'm going up, all the way up, smoke out the chimney. Hit that sound when you mention me. All of attention be noted. Latasha, why you— you said Ray Charles? I had to suck it. I wish you wouldn't have looked at her, Holly.
I wish you would not have looked at Tasha, because I was trying not to look.
I'm sorry, yo, she took me out with the shades and the— I'm sorry. You want to finish? Go ahead. You want to finish? I will have to start— I'll have to spit a whole different thing because— okay, give us one more. Give us one more. Give us one more. All right. My team, we keep it pushing like labor and delivery. I'm looking for the fame, nigga. Fuck all my enemies. You are not a friend to me, so honey, don't pretend to be. Looking for them hoes, I ain't climbing down no chimneys. You know I keep it shaking, cooking, shaking, baking all them chicken bitches. Dough overflow, enough bread to sicken bitches. Fuck the goons, I only fuck with goblins and them wicked bitches. My life is a movie, so go cop your ticket. I got a nun, so nobody fucking with me. The beef is with that hoe, nigga, man, it's no biggie. So I ain't got time, like my watch is not with me. If you want to get crazy, I will smack you whole silly while you leaning and rocking. I'm squeezing, I'm popping, they bodies be dropping. Holly Rock, I ain't stopping. Time is money and I'm ticking and talking. I got it on lockin', I keep shit rockin'. Okay, all right, cool, cool, cool, cool. All right, I do have music on, um, on all, on all platforms. Holly McLarge, I just type my name in, you feel me? Okay, all right. I didn't want to do no, um, copyright stuff with y'all. No, you good, you good, you good. All right, so we're gonna start with, uh, Derek.
Okay, so look at Holly. I think that, uh, I think you got some talent, right? I think that first song you were too breathy. It's like you couldn't catch your breath because I was like nervous.
I'm trying to rush and get it out.
Like, no, I figure— no, no, hey, listen, control. You know, you from— you from the NYC, the, the masters of control whenever they doing their thing. You know, Doug E. Fresh, these guys control their breaths, you know what I mean?
Right.
And as an entertainer, if you're going to be out here on tour You got to control your breath, man. You can't be up there getting nervous and running out of breath so fast.
So I got to stop smoking Newports, basically.
Yeah, you— yeah, please stop smoking them goddamn Newports. But you'll be on tour, and so you're going to have to— you got to be healthy to be on tour. So I'm going to give you a healthy no.
Okay.
It's a healthy no.
Can I try again, like, another week if I don't get through? Hell yeah. You can come back as many times as you want. Oh, okay.
But I like you though, Holly, but it's just a no for me tonight. But I like—
I get it. Thank you, Derek.
All right, baby.
Okay. All right. Uh, don't do me too bad. Don't do me too bad. Sean gonna do him. Don't do me too bad. Go ahead.
Well, I think they are trash. I think that you should definitely take some time and go like to the drawing board when it comes to rapping, because this— I mean, you definitely got the look like the 'I'll take your girl,' but you know, not, not like literally, but you know, in, in the way of—
I'm a heterosexual woman, please do not—
you would have to be—
you would have to be— you would absolutely have to be a heterosexual, correct, to rap how you were rapping. You didn't say anything about twat or anything like that, so why would I assume it? It is definitely a preconceived notion. Again, first impressions are lasting ones, and I didn't like yours. But it was cute though. I think the drawing board you should stay at. Not saying walk away from it completely, but I mean, if you want to waste your time and hang out at it, you go right ahead. But that was cute.
Okay, okay, I'll take it. I got it.
Yeah, it's a no for me, but you were cute.
So I got to help I got an extreme no. Tasha, can you override these, these guys for me, please?
She could. She definitely could.
Tasha, don't do that. Don't, don't, don't become Ray Charles now, for real now. Tasha, I need you. Tasha, at least let me go through the next round.
Tasha, this is a Black woman.
I'm a Black woman. I'm a mother of two. I am a wife. Don't do me. Okay, um. All right, all right, I see where it's going. Don't, don't miss it. No, it's not that. It's not that, Holly. Okay, I'm just gonna be all the way— I was gonna be all the way real with you. I was, I was— I'm utterly confused. Like, you're 38, um, you're a rapper, you're a wife, you're a mama too. I didn't like some of the things that you were saying in the league. I'm not honestly not really into rapping anymore. Like, that's old. Those are old rhymes. I just thought, like, you know, you were having this thing to, like, get away get $300.
Do you drive transit? Do you drive the transit bus? That's what you're giving?
Oh, actually, I'm a stay-at-home mom, so no, no, honey.
No, I'm just asking.
She said her man does that. Her man does.
Okay. Yeah, I stay at home.
Yeah, do your thing.
Do your thing, girl.
I look like I drive transit? What that mean? She's a kept woman, Derek. She's a kept woman. Okay, you can go right on in, okay? Ain't nothing they gonna do. Um, I appreciate y'all though. Here's the thing, it's, it's, it's a, it's a no for me because I just don't see it as it being naturally you. I'm confused about everything that's going on. Like, I thought you were 22. You look very young, you rap young, and then you bust out with I'm a wife, and then you was like, I got a gun on my hip. It was like a lot. I didn't know what was going on, you know? And we are looking for someone that we can really take on tour with us and really entertain, you know what I'm saying? So 2026, we kicking it off, and whoever wins is going with us, okay? It's gonna be a few acts, so we're gonna do 10 episodes and another 10 episode. So I'm hoping you'll be back. I don't care what y'all talking about, I'm coming back. I'll be back next week.
There you go.
Okay, I'll be up in here. All right, you guys, no problem. So much— I was just confused from the get-go.
When you did this Ray Charles shit, man, I could have held it together if you weren't doing that, but you did that.
Jasmine, who next before we start the final finale? Up next we have Miss Danette. Danette, okay. Hi, Danette. Good evening, how y'all doing? I'm Danette Shepherd Vaughn. So nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, Miss Danette.
Beautiful smile.
Thank you, thank you so much. I'm from Harlem, but I live in Jersey City, New Jersey now. Okay, you got some money too in Harlem. You got a row house, don't you? I can tell you got a— I live in a townhouse. Yes, in Jersey. I mean, I know she got some money. Don't start no rumors now, right? All right, Miss Jeanette, so what are you going to be singing tonight? I'm going to be singing Woman by Libran Stolas from the Broadway musical Smokey Joe's Café. Okay, all right, go ahead. I can rub and scrub this old house until it's shining like a dime, feed my baby, grease the car, and powder my face at the same time, get all dressed up, go out and swing till 4 AM, and then lay down at 5, jump up at 6, and Start all over again. I am a woman. W-O-M-A-N. I'll say it again. I am— Wow.
Wow.
Okay, all right.
Um, Sean, I think she was great. She was great. That was great. I, I liked that you took a chance, because with a song like that, one, it's a Broadway song, so a lot of people aren't gonna know it. Um, but for you to go forward and still do that anyway, I think it took a lot of confidence to do a song like that. So shout out to you, and you were actually in range. You stayed in the pocket of the song. You didn't take it further than you needed to. You kept it where it was supposed to be. So I can appreciate that. I absolutely can. And for me, it's going to be an absolute yes. I'm gonna— I would love to hear her sing a different song, but if she comes back, I would love to hear you choose something more modern, you know, like an Anita or, uh, Regina, something like that. You know, I would definitely love to hear something, something else.
Come back.
Yeah, but I, I loved it.
Okay. All right, so Mr.
Kang, uh, I think she's a natural entertainer. I, I think you are an entertainer. Um, the fact that you would choose a Broadway song, man, listen, that, that is, uh, real ballsy of you to choose a Broadway song. Uh, I have a question and then I'll give my answer. Have you filed your taxes yet?
Have I found what?
Have you filed your taxes?
Oh, I'm sorry. It sounds like you said, have I found something? File? Yes. Yes. My taxes got in, honey. It was April 14th, but they was in. Okay.
Well, I think that's where you should get the $300 from because it's a no for me.
Okay. All right. Well, thank you. I appreciate it.
You did not have to do that.
No, you better—
fuck, that was—
I think you dope though.
That was fucked up though. Like, you didn't have to. Everything ain't for everybody. I do understand that. I appreciate you, brother.
I love you, Danette. I ain't gonna lie to you, you like somebody. I want to come to your house and eat and just be over there. Yeah, you look like you, you keep a cupboard full of food and you cook real food. You look like you cook.
I don't do that much cooking because I perform a lot. Actually, I was ringmaster of Omnium Circus, one of only 8 female ringmasters in world history. So I do a lot of performing. We were on Broadway last year at New Victory Theater. Whoopi Goldberg attended. So I, I don't do a lot of cooking. I can cook, but I'm too busy. I don't do a lot of cooking. I want to be able to do that. This is very misogynistic. The lady is working, you trying to put her in the kitchen like an auntie, like an in-law. I appreciate you, Miss Danette. It's up to me. Um, it's gonna be a no for me. Okay, only because, um, I got more of like— you, you are a natural performer, I could tell. You got stage presence and everything. But when I envision somebody on the tour and the type of tours that we do, and it's not like I'm being biased, it's like it kind of gave me vagacy a little bit. You know, like, I can, you know, and so, like, there's no doubt, like, I know you make money doing it already and you're going to continue making money doing it. I just, for me, it just didn't, um, you know, I don't know. But it's not, it's not that you're a bad singer because you're not. You definitely got it. I just didn't see it. I appreciate that. I appreciate your time and your feedback. You know, I take everything in. I'm always wanting to learn and grow. And be better every moment, be better. All information is— no, you got it, you got it, you got it. I'm just saying, and that's why I have two other judges here, so people won't think like, oh, Tasha has something in mind for her tour. Like, I don't have control over it. Like, it's the wino. Like, once we put you through, it's the winos. So like, I don't want to come off as biased. Like, you have it, you are talented. I just didn't— I— it gave me— when I go to Vegas, like, to the Vegas toes. And I understand that. Really appreciate you, and really do thank you for your time. Okay. And if I could have a moment, if anybody wants to follow me, I'm on Dazzling Danette on, on Instagram, TikTok, Dazzling Danette. Thank you so much again. Thank you so much. Thank you. Have a great night, guys. Thank you. I think we should let one more through. Jasmine, how many people we got waiting? A lot? Um, I did a cutoff, so there's 3 people— wait, hold on, 1, 2, 4 people. Um, can we do those 4 before we judge since they've been waiting? I think so. I agree. I like— I think we should do these last 4. Okay, cool. We're gonna do our last 4 and then we're gonna do the final round, and then the Winos is gonna pick who wins the $300. And we good? Okay, I'm having fun tonight. Y'all having fun?
Yeah, I'm having a good time.
Don't have too much fun, but yes, I'm having fun. I like it, and I like Mr. Net.
Y'all two are just— I gotta— I got— we got a guest host coming next week, and I hope that guest host roast the fuck out of you two.
Good luck.
You ain't lying.
I really do hope the guest— the surprise guest host roast the fuck out of you two.
Okay, listen here, me and Sean are like the older brother and the younger brother. We can come for each other, but you better not bring your ass over here and try to come for either one of us.
Correct.
So y'all ready for y'all next talent? Yes. Uh, this is Amanda. All right, Amanda. Hi, Amanda. Hi, how are you? And so Um, where are you from? I'm from Jamaica. Okay, Miss Amanda, you got some clothes on, right? Yeah, my clothes. I was what? I was just naked, right? And Latasha, you know, you always come comfortable by your shore. Okay, okay, okay, sister. Okay. All right, she cussing me out. Okay, okay, I'm at home, I'm chilling. I'm sorry. Okay, um, what are you singing tonight? Obviously you're singing. Yes, I'm singing, um, Tyrone by Erykah Badu. Okay, all right, go ahead, shoot the shot. All right, I'm gonna start my little music. Hold on. Oh, we can't play the music, you gotta do acapella. Oh yeah, just to start me off. I'm gonna look silent, okay, so I can know when to get on beat. The first time that I saw you, boy, I mean, I mean, I might turn. Yeah. I'm getting tired of your shit. You gonna never buy me nothing. Every time you come around, you have to bring Jim, Jane, Paul, and Tyrone. See, why can't we be by ourselves sometimes? Been having this on my mind for a long time. I just want it to be you and me like it used to be, baby, but you don't know how to act. So matter of fact, I think you better call Tyra, call him and tell him come on, help you get young. Come on, come on, you better call Tyra. And tell them I say come on. All right, Madonna. No, Madonna. I am literally shocked. It's like when you hear, you know, like that guy from Snowfall and he's from the UK and then he starts talking like he's from LA. Like, yeah, Dancing Idris. Like, I did not expect that voice to come out of you. I thought she was gonna sound like Spice trying to sing. Girl. All right, Derek, you first. Go, Derek, go. I like you.
I'm gonna tell you, I, I like— I think you chose— this is the first person who sang tonight that I think chose the right song for their voice. I don't know if anybody else has done that. You chose the right song. I think you, uh, I think you're a pretty lady. I think you can sing. I wish like hell you didn't have that damn bonnet on.
Uh, I'm at home.
Yeah, you at home, but your ass is also on camera too. You need to snatch that damn bonnet off. But I think you did a decent job with that song. Um, just for the sake of this contest, I'd actually like to see you come back, so it's gonna gonna be a yes for me.
Okay, thank you. Thank you. Okay, all right, Sean Daveway.
Yes, um, absolutely not. Um, I think that it would have been cute if you would have did like some Patra, you know, like something like that. I need a big real teddy bear, you know, because you know what the accent go, oh, work on mine. So I thought that would have been real cute, girl.
Like, you could have made it cute and whatnot, but I don't know the words. My singing a song I don't know the words.
You know Tyrone, but you don't know Patrick.
That's the stereotype. Just because y'all told me to come up and know the words. She's from Jamaica. Yes.
Yeah, look at you, look at you, look at you. I thought she was from the Caribbean.
I didn't even know that. Nah, nah.
Okay, so yeah, it backfired, it backfired. But I do like your confidence. That was definitely cute, and I love your accent. I love people from the island, so, um, your accent is absolutely beautiful. But entertainment-wise, I'm gonna say no.
All right, so it's up to me. I think you have a gorgeous voice, um, I think you have gorgeous skin, um, um, I just— first impressions are everything for me, and I wish you just would have taken off the bonnet and came up here and saying. So can you come back another time? Okay, another song. You, uh, we're gonna be here probably either next Tuesday or Thursday. I want to say next Tuesday. Okay, and we'll let you through and wear a blue bonnet. But keep your— whenever you post— no, you're not— I'm gonna have— I'm gonna have Monique as the guest judge. You come back with that bonnet on, he hate them. Why y'all doing my bonnet like this? I'm at home.
No, why you do that bonnet like that? You shouldn't even brought that damn bucket out.
You should have left that for a minute there. Again, for a minute there, you was giving me you like your women barefoot and pregnant because you like Melody and she came on here with her hair uncombed and you sitting up here like, oh, it's a yes for me. It's a yes for me. Yes, Derek, with the bonnet on. So it tells me that you like old school women— and not old school women, but like, you know, back in the day we would just— barefoot and pregnant. Yep. Go up to the school with a house robe on and some damn house shoes and a bonnet with a purse.
Correct. Correct.
You know the type of women Derek like. Yeah.
You want me to be ashamed of what I like?
I am not.
Listen, you said the natural girls coming back. Natural girls are coming back, but like, that's not natural. Tasha, okay, girl, beautiful. I can tell you beautiful, and I know when you come back, you go— I'm probably not even gonna recognize her. Be like, who is this? She signed last week. I already know. I will throw on my little lace. I'm just chilling. I'm sorry. I know, because your confidence is there. You're on camera with your skin out and your bonnet on. You got a towel wrapped around you, sitting in bed. I know you're a bad bitch. I know you is. Because you're just like, I woke up like this. And when I do step out, you're gonna wish that I only had my bonnet on, because I'm killing all you hoes up in this motherfucker. Is that a glue stick? No, baby.
Oh, okay.
I was like, yeah, big chapstick, girl.
I know what it is. You got them big beautiful lips.
That's that cocoa butter, baby. So what's your favorite— what's the— what's your dish you could throw down? Is it the curry goat? Is it the oxtail? What you get? The Uh, what you— what you did you say? What you mean? Which everyone? Oh, there you go. Everyone. My husband said he divorcing me right now. Everyone.
I want beans with all my meal, plantains and goat.
He only picking the women that he feel can cook.
Correct, correct.
Ain't you married? That's—
first of all, you need the money.
I thought I just Yes, he married yet? I guess he's still looking. Look, that means he used the good food, right?
That's right.
Thank you so much, Miss Beyoncé. Okay, I appreciate you. Thank you. Love you, and we'll see you back next Tuesday. Okay.
Okay.
All right, let's go. Somebody said red snapper. She look like she make a mean red snapper. What's the mess, bitch?
Why was y'all giving her so much toot about the bonnet though?
I don't know. Y'all just— you like— you like—
she was wearing that bonnet and the way Sean got his hat on, that's why he liked her.
What are you talking about? I said no, weirdo. And on top of that, man, that's what you get, man.
I said no. Oh, uh, just to clarify everybody, we will not be on next Tuesday. It will be next Thursday, just, just so we know. I'm traveling next Thursday, or do I have to do it for my travel location? We'll have to try to figure something else out because we have another engagement on Tuesday. Oh, we got the dating show? Yes. Okay, all right, so then it will be next Thursday. Look at, look at my producer coming in to shut shit down. Like, don't even go, don't even get up over here.
I know your father.
I will be doing it from a remote location. Okay, cool. All right, so, um, some beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes. Somebody said she should have sang that. Beans, greens, potatoes. I cannot.
All right, who next?
All right, up next we have AM. AM, like am Interesting. Oh, hey y'all! Hey, how y'all doing? Fantastic. A.M., where are you from? I am from Bloomington, Illinois. I am a singer-songwriter. Okay, okay, cool. So what you gonna be singing tonight for us? I am gonna sing an original song that I wrote called Gray Area. I wrote it, uh, after my cousin Fleaboy passed away in 2020. So sorry to hear that.
I was writing for him.
Okay, sorry to hear that. You ready? The floor is yours. Let's go. I'm always ready, baby. I'm always ready. All right, all right, you ready? Y'all can hear me good? Yes. Okay. What I see, what I feel, is it real? Should I believe it? Am I wrong? Question mark. Is it bad? Should I believe it without my pearls and precious, without my without look? Would you still look at me the way you are with that, with that same look? It ain't no truth, it ain't no facts, it's just lies in that. I see you, you seeing a face that's really disguised as And did it hurt or turn you on? Who was my intentions for the strong Was it real? Was it really And did it hurt or turn you on? Who was my intentions for the strong? Was it real? Was it really what you want? For too long put bad energy in my body. Can't be scared, say how I feel to everybody. Keep all opinions and my words to myself. Never been good at that cause ain't no more Oh, great areas, areas, it ain't no more. Oh, great areas. All right, I'm gonna go for Sean first because he ain't have no reaction. He's gonna roast me. Oh my God, watch the whole— I'm looking at Sean, I'm like, oh my God, me and Derek was vibing. Sean was just like, he's gonna roast me. He want Yusuf so bad.
Look, what the fuck?
He's gonna sign it. He's gonna sign it. Me, Sean is like, no, you see That's hilarious, Sasha.
So, uh, yeah, um, but I will say this, um, you definitely give like a Jeremiah, like Lloyd, you know, type of like accents to your voice. I do like your voice. I think that that song that you just sang, if it was a good beat behind it, I think that could probably be a hit song. I like the, the vibe that you have with the song. The chorus, I think it's really catchy. Um, so it is a good original song because I wouldn't necessarily necessarily tell somebody to audition with an original song because usually not a good idea because people want to get a feel for your voice. So it's hard to compare if it's an original, you know, because then it's just like, okay, well, you can sound any way, you know, you want, and it can sound great just because, you know, you know. But overall, I would say that you have a great voice and there's a lot of potential there. So I would say yes. I was, I was trying to listen to you.
You gave me a good reason.
Yes, I would. I really appreciate— I liked it. I, I, and I'm shocked because it was an original song. So normally, yeah, I feel like I would have said no, but you did a good job.
So I got a question real quick. So if you do keep me for the next round, should I do another original song or you want to hear a song?
No, I think you should do a— if you do make it through, I think that you should switch it up just so people can hear something different from you so they seem, you know, like one-sided. So it showed that you're multi-dimensional. So, but yeah, I liked you. I thought you were great.
Yeah, thank you, Sean. I appreciate you, man. He said yes. All right, so you got one yes. Derek, Derek Kane. Somebody muted you.
What happened to you?
Hurry up, we can't hear you.
Somebody getting fired.
That's all we needed. Okay, all right, he said yes. So log out and come back in, Derek. All right, so that's all you really needed is two. It's a yes for me. Yes, man. I like you, Tasha. I appreciate you.
I like it.
It's a wine glass. So yeah, I was a little confused at first, um, because I was looking at your bathroom. I was like, could he really sing? But then when I— you had the door open, so it wasn't— your voice wasn't trapped. I thought your voice was trapped, but it's not. So I was just like, no, he really can sing. And then you gave your whole song, so I was like, no, he really got it. And I could definitely see you rocking out on stage with with the Winos on the tour. So yeah, oh yeah, uh, I auditioned for the, for The Voice before, and I was on an episode of Steve Harvey before. Oh, so the one— look, the other competitors got some competition now, for real. All right, all right, let's go, let's go. Okay, cool. So we'll see you back. Just hold tight, and you're gonna come back, you're gonna do it again for the Winos tonight, and then they'll, they'll vote on who get the $300. Okay, okay. So just stay in here then. Stay in here.
Alrighty.
All right, no problem. Okay, he was really talented. Okay, it's very good. Yeah, correct. The gray area, gray, sitting in the ghetto thinking about that.
That's what I thought we was about to get.
Yeah, I know, I thought he was real Anthony Hamilton. He looked like it, then he showed up with Lloyd. I said, bitch, yes, yes, a little piece of Jack Queeze, little piece. He was good. He was good. Little bit of August Alsina too. Who? Before, little bit of the August Alsina before Jada.
Before Jada Shakur.
Okay, right. Where the hell is Derek? We got how many people like waiting, Jasmine?
Two.
Jasmine, there are two people. Two people left.
Two people.
Okay, cool. Not Jazzy. Don't change her name to Jazzy Faye. You see that? I don't brand it on her. Jazzy Faye. Come on, Derek, let's go with your bad Wi-Fi in the, in the, in the roach motel.
You talking about Africa Wi-Fi? Look at his.
Let me go pee while we wait on him to come back in. Sean, entertain these winos real quick.
Oh, not a problem. So I see y'all, um, a lot of y'all giving me love in the chat, and I really appreciate that. And I'm a girl, but a lot of y'all is really coming for me, and I just want y'all to know from the bottom of my heart that I don't care, okay? Um, I really don't care. We are here to do a job. I really hope that y'all are enjoying me. I may be a little bit of, you know, evil, little piece, but I feel like it's necessary, you know? We came here to make it hot. So we came to make it spicy. We came to entertain you guys. So I hope y'all are having a good time. I am. Shout out to all of the winos. Shout out to Tasha and her team. Shout out to the wonderful Jasmine. She's just amazing. I just love her. And, um, shout out to Derek. Shout out to all of the contestants thus far. Again, um, it's no harm, no foul. We are here again to do a job, you know. So we're here to be entertaining. We're here to have fun, okay? We're here to have a good time. And if you just ain't got it, you just ain't got it, you know. And if you do, we look forward to hearing you, you know. I hope a lot more of you come up. I hope we get like a lot more singers. I hope we get a lot more rappers. Um, I would love to hear like some poetry, um, because again, the contest is not just about singing and stuff like that. It's a talent. Like, you hit that mic and you do, you know, whatever you want to do, whatever you feel that you are talented at. So I'm excited to see what everybody has to bring, and I'm also excited to bring some heat you know, to the show. I'm excited to do that. All right, absolutely. Y'all drop some wine glasses in the chat if y'all are having a good time. Uh, when is next— next Thursday. Next Thursday we will be live again. Next Thursday.
Yes, Thursday we will be live again, open mic. Thank you, Sean, for holding it down. See, that's what I wanted, professional people that knew how to carry the show if something happened. So while we were having breaks and while we got these Uh, incredible people, uh, waiting. Okay, and so Derek, he's trying to get back in, but people keep beating him to the backstage. Oh, I thought you locked it down. I did. I, I keep kicking the people out, but they, they keep coming back in. Y'all gotta come back in next Thursday.
Yeah, next week. Yeah.
I'm gonna try to get it to where we can do this twice a week. But you know, right now, I didn't know it was gonna be such a success.
Yeah, you got it hot. They continuously hit that link and are also saying in the chat like they want to come up, you know.
Yeah, like, come on. And I'm gonna have, like I said, I'm gonna have celebrity guest judges next, next Thursday. We got a celebrity guest judge. So surprise judges, that'll be the fourth. So it's gonna be interesting for people to really get through because these are professional people that see talent all the time, you know. So yeah, so just, uh, you said Derek had the Red Roof Inn Wi-Fi. He is. He— I could tell by the couch he was sitting on.
Ain't no microwave in that room, Tasha.
No, it's not. No, no refrigerator either. It's just like— it's just a coffee maker with one bottle of water.
Correct. And the ice bucket. Yeah, and an ice bucket.
That's what happens when you're a comedian and you on tour, you know, they give you the basic-ass room.
Correct.
Oh my God, is he back? Is he back, Jasmine?
Tasha, are you gonna— you think you're gonna use your card tonight? You only got 2 left.
Uh, I don't think so. I didn't have to use it. I think we would have I think we was all unanimous, you know what I'm saying? I got the golden card, you know, so— and then we'll give it to one person one day because it may be somebody else. I'm gonna be honest, I was totally shocked at like how we were voting tonight. I'm just like— because we've, we've never done this before. And Sean, you put me for a loop. Derek, you looking for somebody that can cook and sing. You got that Wi-Fi good? Say something. We need to make sure, man.
Listen, it's not me. I have my phone on do not disturb. I just got to my hotel because I got a show in San Antonio tomorrow, so I don't know. People keep—
and I'm like, shout out your show. Where's your show?
Uh, it's at, uh, the Kitty Hawk Event Center in San Antonio. Uh, it's me and Coco Brown. Oh, fun.
Okay, I thought you was gonna say the strip club when he came out with Kitty. I was looking at the kitty.
Listen, I'm gonna be— it's gonna be so much fun tomorrow night. This is really the kickoff for my weekend because I had a lot of fun tonight with you and the guests. Like, this was, this was so much fun. This is what I love to do. So, you know, my registry is growing. Sean, did you like that? No, not at all. That's fine.
All right, one day we got two guests that have been waiting patiently backstage, and then we got some guests waiting to win this $300 tonight. The winos is ready to vote. They've been in here all night. Okay, all right, so who's next? Who's next? First, sorry to everybody who was trying to get into the green room. We are at capacity for the night, but you guys can try again Thursday. So thank you so much for your patience and thank you for coming in. Um, up next we have, uh, Erican. Erican, okay. Hi, Erican. Hey, how you doing? Good, good. Okay, so, uh, where are you from?
Philly.
Philly, shout out to Philly. And what are you gonna be singing? Are you— what are you gonna be doing tonight? What is your talent?
Uh, I'm gonna be singing.
Okay, all right, what you singing?
Uh, Someone Like You by Adele.
Oh shit, okay, well, the floor is yours. Let's go. All right. Never mind, I'll find someone like you. Oh, I wish nothing but the best for you. Oh, and don't forget me, I bet I remember Hey, hey, hey, Eric! Eric!
Eric!
Blow it! Go ahead, hit it, Derek! Listen, the whistle means file on the play. Technical foul, traveling, flagrant foul, uh, uh, roughing the passer, roughing the zone.
Uh, listen, it's a lot of penalties committed right then. Um, here, Eric, first, first things first, pick a name.
You can't be both though.
You got to pick a name, dog. Hey man, let me tell you something. You, you, you reminded me of Eazy-E, but not easy to listen to. Does that, does that make sense? Okay, so listen here, I'm gonna go on and tell you, I, I think you wonderful. I can't wait to meet you on tour. I damn sure want you to come out, but you need to buy a ticket.
It's no free.
I fuck with you though, you my dog.
Oh my God, my stomach hurt. I done had a whole ab workout.
Um, Sean, I would rather watch paint dry. So, um, so were you just like joking around?
No, but I did just wake up and I ain't warm up, so go back to sleep.
You serious? Are you serious? You a jerk. So that was for real? I thought he was trolling. I didn't know he was serious. Me too.
Also, you looking at us like you serious, like that was real.
Serious? So you really say—
oh wait, I'm sorry, I didn't hear y'all.
So you, you serious? Like you really— somebody Okay, Erican, um, where did you— where did you first discover your passion for singing?
Well, I started out dancing at like 12, and then I got signed at 14. Please stand up and get an account. Please stand up.
Can we see you dance? Can you put the phone down?
I wouldn't have a problem with it, but it came off a little shady already, so—
No, I want to see— if you said you started dancing You could just—
if you want to see the whole video, it's on my page on Face—
or, uh, YouTube.
You're on camera right now. I know, you from Puerto Rico.
I could— yes.
So we can't get an account?
I already said where it's at.
Yeah, you did. We're still not going. We're still here. Um, so yeah, we're not going there. That's not And that's why I'm like, you are here though, so we would love to see you. Are you not coming with us?
So what happened?
Is it a yes or no for you, Sean?
No.
Okay. All right, so, uh, you, uh, Eric, I really thought that you were a comedian. No, you didn't. I did. I thought he was funny.
No, he was hilarious. That's singing.
But hilarious. Who signed you at 14?
AMS Records.
AMS Records for singing or dancing?
Singing. You have a record?
Did you sing at 14?
Oh, it was a song called— I don't even remember.
It was a breakup song though.
Can you sing something else besides Adele? No. Yeah, give me one more time, one more.
Give us a little Sam Smith. You know Sam Smith? I can't think of one right off the bat. I could sing anything that come to mind.
Go ahead, brother, go.
I was born In a little tent. Oh, and just like the river I've been running, 'cause it's been a long, a long time coming. Oh yes, it is. All right, all right, listen, Derek, did you change your mind?
Derek, did I change my mind? Well, what I wanted to do was, um I think we hurt his feelings, so I wanted to offer a Band-Aid to patch that back up. And hell no, it's still a no for me. I'm not with it. I, I think— hey, hey, Erican, Erican, I think you, you, you probably taking it a little too personal. But, but no, dog, this ain't— this ain't— this ain't for you.
Not this.
Just not—
Sean, get back here. Get back here.
Just an African, my fault. Busting out a letter, that was cute, a cute try. Uh, I don't know what else to say.
I mean, yes or no?
Oh, hell no.
I'm just trying to figure out who lied to you, that's all I'm trying to figure out. I'm just trying to figure out who lied to you and what song, who signed you and everything like that.
Because I'm just— AMS Records still in business.
They are so mean. AMS Records.
He probably meant ASMR Records.
Well, you know, thank you for your time.
Anytime.
Uh, yeah, I hope y'all have a great night. Come back next week.
No, no, please don't.
Yes, you do too. Yes, you do too. You bring your ass back over here next week. You for sure bring your ass back.
Yeah, he wasn't trying. I gotta let my soul glow.
Hey man, the boy couldn't stop doing this shit.
You should have let my soul glow.
I cannot. It's time.
Jasmine, who next? This is the last one, right? Right. Before we get on to our last contestant, I just want to remind the people who got through to the next round to wait backstage. That's Simple Key, Josie, Destiny K, Nina Walker, Marcel Love, and AM. If you guys could please come back and wait backstage, that would be great. And now we have Official Dre Tony. Okay. Official Dre Tony. How you doing, Tony?
Hey, how's it going, Tasha K? What's up, Sean David Wade, Mr. King? What's up, what's up, y'all?
All right, where you from?
I'm in Los Angeles, California.
All right, home of the Los Angeles.
There you go. But I'm from Georgia, so I'm a little country boy. You probably can hear my little country accent a little bit.
I can, I can. Okay, so what you gonna be doing tonight? What's your talent?
Uh, my talent is singing, and, um, I was going to try to sing, uh, Whitney Houston's I Believe in You and Me.
Okay, all right, well, the floor is yours. Let's go.
All right, here we go.
Hi, I believe in you and me. I believe that We will be in love internally, but as far as I can see, yeah, you will always be the one. Stop you. Let me stop you, Dre. You got your phone sitting on something. Um, Is this on the table?
I have it on the table.
Pick it up. It's making your voice bounce and we can't hear you. It's like coming in and out, and it sounds like you have a nice voice, so hold the phone and sing. It's okay. All right, go ahead. You will always be someone for me. Yes. Oh yes, I will. And I, I, I, I, I, I believe in, I believe in dreams again. I believe that our love never end. And like the river finds the sea, I bring me, 'cause I believe in you and me.
All right.
Maybe I'm a fool.
Yes, you are.
To feel the way I do, I'mma play the fool forever just to be with you forever. And that's it, y'all.
Thank God.
Uh, Derek, did you move— Drake, I mean, sorry, I'm sorry, Dre, did you move to Los Angeles to pursue your career?
Um, no, I, I, I moved here from Hawaii, and I just moved here because the weather is very similar.
Oh, okay.
To Hawaii.
Yeah, I was gonna say. All right, um, Derek, we'll start with you.
Yeah, man, go relax.
Oh, y'all about to— y'all about to eat me up, boy.
No, just, just let me tell you something, man. You, you really You remind me— I got a cousin named, uh, TJ. You remind me of TJ, man. And TJ is— he's the funniest person in my family. He always has been since I was a kid. And TJ is in the military, uh, and he's a really good— he's not a singer, but he's a damn good person.
And I see that in you.
I see a great person, man. I think you're bullshitting with yourself. You believe so much in you. Hell, you believe that you could sing that goddamn song, man. When you said, I believe in you and me, I said, this guy there, your faith, your faith has made these whole. But it ain't made you through to the next round, but your faith damn sure made you whole. So it's a no for me, but you're still my cousin.
That's all.
No, no doubt, no doubt.
Sean? Sean? Yes? Uh-oh. Uh, what do you think?
So I'm gonna start off by saying this: please leave Whitney completely alone. Do not bother her. Do not bother her. Please leave her alone. Um, the second thing I'm gonna say, when you close your eyes, when you thing with me when you do this— this is for singers, for singers— you're an imposter. You're, you're definitely an imposter. And have you ever heard the song Chocolate Rain? Have you heard that song before? That's what you give. You definitely give Chocolate Rain like that.
That's correct.
Um, definitely an A for effort. Absolutely. I will give it that, but it's going to be a strong no for me. But I appreciate the enthusiasm. Okay, no doubt, no doubt.
All right, um, uh, Dre, um, are you single?
I am single, yep.
Okay, can you apply to our dating show? Um, I, I can. Are you, are you looking to be in a relationship?
The only thing is, uh, I'm about to be transparent. The only thing is I'm bisexual, so I don't know if that relates. I'm just being 1000. I'm being 1000. That's why I was like, I think I can. Yes, I'm just being 1000.
I appreciate you saying that we were looking, you know, for heterosexual men, but I appreciate that. Um, I kind of figured. Yeah, yeah. Um, okay. Uh, all right, so, um, that's the only thing that I was going to tell you was open for you was the, uh, the dating show, because singing is definitely not— um, you, you probably sound good in the shower. You know, because you got bass in your voice. I could see you being part of a chorus, or, you know, the alto part. Remember the guy that used to talk in Boyz II Men? Mm-hmm. You never signed him.
Yeah, baby.
Yeah, I can totally see you doing that.
Yeah.
Okay, I appreciate you. No, no doubt. All right, well, I, um, okay, well, thank you so much. All right, no problem, y'all.
Y'all have a good day.
Okay, all right, all right, no problem.
All right, bye-bye.
You know what's sad? What's really sad?
That went bad. I did not mean for that to happen.
Oh my God, he is confused about who he want to be with and his talent. That's, that's a sad ass— you know what I mean?
You don't know if you want— you know, yeah. Okay, he's not eligible for the dating show either. The Wild 'N' Out is going to end tonight. They said you're an imposter. I know you wanted to say more, Sean.
I did.
Say it. Why'd you hold me?
I just wanted to know what Was that hot where he was at?
Did you—
the neck, he was glistening. I was like, poor guy.
He did look like he just came back from playing basketball.
Correct.
I strut out of a sauna to, uh, contest. But he wasn't a bad looking guy, you know. I mean, he would have been perfect for the dating show if he wasn't, you know.
Yeah, my women would kill me.
Correct.
Right. I got a reputation to keep out here. All right, cool. All right, so now we are ready for the final finale. We're gonna see who's gonna take this $300 home and who's gonna move on, uh, to compete against the other singers at the end of the season, uh, for a chance to go on tour with me. And so what we may do for our end of the season is we may fly the contestants in and let them give it to us on stage because we can see their stage presence. That's right, I like that. A real life Showtime at the Apollo, and the Winos get to come and Boo, and we'll have Teddy out there taking them off the stage. Yeah, you know, yeah, there you go. Then he come— Teddy come out there with a goddamn wine bottle. Bitch, get your motherfucker. Winos, would y'all like that? Would y'all buy tickets to see that in Florida this year? How about that? How about that? Yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay, all right, cool, cool. All right, so Jasmine, y'all are ready for the— we are ready. So what we need to do, Jasmine, we need to put the poll in the chat. How can we do that? Give me a— give me a second and I will take care of that. Okay, let's get the— we're gonna get the poll up and going, winos. So this round is out of our hands here. This is all about you guys, okay? So I'm sorry, go ahead. No, no, no, no. So this round is all about the winos, so you guys get to vote. Evenly, it's almost 4,000 people streaming, okay? And so all 4,000 people will be judging to see who takes the $300 home tonight and who comes back at the end of the season to win, uh, to go on tour with me, okay? And, and Sean and Derek, okay? So, um, y'all better be fair now because I don't want to hear when we get on tour, who the hell you don't brought on to this person? And stuff. You voted, you did it. Okay.
Yeah.
All right, so they said, yay, voting time! All righty, all righty. And so you ready? Yep. All right, coming back to Grace's for the second time, we have Simply Key. All right, do you have the, uh, thing in the chat, Jasmine? The poll? It's going up right now. It'll be up before we finish. Okay, cool. All right, Simply Key, what you singing for us?
Y'all ready?
Yeah, I'm gonna do a little Jill Scott. Okay, okay. Can y'all hear me good? Is it an echo or anything? There's a little bit of a feedback. How about now? Gone.
Okay, cool.
All right. Hey, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, hey, I come up, come on, yeah, I'm taking my freedom, taking it off the shelf. Putting it around my neck on my chain and wear it around my neck. I'm taking my freedom, putting it in my car. Wherever I choose to go, it will take me far. I'm living my life like it's golden. Life like it's golden. Living my life like it's golden. Life like it's golden. Living my life like it's golden. Golden. Living my life like it's golden. Like it's golden, golden, golden, golden, golden, golden. Living my life like it's golden, golden, golden, golden, golden, golden. Living my life like it's golden, golden, golden, golden. Living my life like it's golden, golden. Jasmine's gonna be adding the chat. If I was you, I would get in the chat. Tell these rhinos for both of you. Come on. Wano for the 300. Tell them right now why you need to be on competing for that tour.
Tell them right now.
Go ahead.
I need to be competing And why no Jasmine is going to be adding the chat. If I was you, I would get in the chat, Teddy. Why no for both of you? Come on, why no for the $300? Tell them right now why you need to be on competing for that tour. Tell them right now, go ahead. I need to be competing for that tour because I am a new business owner. I just started my business. I'm trying to get things like, you know, trademarks and business cards and things like like that so I can be another productive Black woman out here getting to the bag. Okay, all right, cool. Well, simply key, hold backstage, okay? So we're gonna let these votes come in. All right, Jasmine's supposed to be getting the poll up first. First and foremost, uh, we have a small problem. I can only put 4 people at a time, so, uh, I think I can just like maybe leave them up for about 5 minutes each screenshot it and then put the pictures up. Where? What do you mean leave them up? What do you think? The poll? Like, I could do the first poll and leave it up for 5 minutes and then leave the, the second poll. Like, I can let, like, Simply Key, Josie, Destiny, and Yusuf go and leave that poll up for 5 minutes, and then while the other ones are going, I can put up a second poll and I'll just take the winner. Okay. Okay. All right. All right, cool. All right, all right, let's go. You ready for the next? Next is Josie. Josie. All right, Josie, your mic is off. Hi, Josie. All right, you ready? Yes, yes. How y'all doing? Are you good? All right, we rolling, we ready. All right, all right, I'm ready. Where them fans at? Hey, hey, where them fans at? Come on, Wild O's, let me see y'all y'all fans? Where them fans at? Uh, I don't have no fan. There you go, there you go. I don't got no fan because when I went to the beauty supply store, all the fans was gone. So this is what I got right here. Y'all don't judge me. I got my church fan with my Memorial Day on it, and you know, I got the church hymns on the back. That's where my fan is at right there. Don't y'all judge me. Y'all judge your dang own self. I just went through a breakup. I broke up with a thumb-sucking battle rapper. That's right, a thumb-sucking battle rapper. Got to be more careful, ladies. Some red flags: if a man has a tattoo on his forearm of Linus sucking his thumb, holding a blanket, that is a sign right there that he got low self-esteem. I had to also break up with him because he don't give no oral. How you gonna have an oral fixation and don't give no oral? Yeah, I must not had the right fit, if you know what I mean. Uh-huh. I'm just turned 40 years old, y'all. Give it up for me, give it up for me. Just turned 40. Yes, yes, yes, yes, 44. 44. And like I said, sometimes, you know, when you get old, things deceive you. So right now my eyesight is going. So the other day I went to the store because I wanted to have me a sandwich, and I went and I got all my condiments. I got my ham, my turkey, my lettuce, my tomatoes. Got home and put all that shit together, went and took a big bite of it and was like, this some crunchy ass lettuce. Then I realized I was eating cabbage, ham, turkey sandwich. Y'all, come on now. A cabbage, ham, and turkey sandwich. I was 3 months pregnant walking around here farting and pooping and shit. And all of a sudden I realized that you're not supposed to eat cabbage raw. That's something that you realize when, when you get a little older. Um, uh, also, where my baddies at? I, I gotta talk to my baddies. Where my ladies at in the building? And we gonna talk to the men We not just gonna talk to the women, we gonna also talk to the men. Where my baddies at? It's gotta put they bra on from the front and then turn that shit around to the back. That's right, you gotta put your arms in like you putting some jeans on. That's right. Now where my men at? All my men in the building need to make some noise. Make some noise if you a man. I see y'all out there and y'all should know if you got a baddie or not. Me and I'ma tell you if you got a baddie or not. If you got a baddie You should have to hook more than one clamp in the back. If she got one clamp on her bra, she is not a baddie, sir. She is not a baddie. You need to have one that are— you be back there just trying to get it undone. You— yeah, you be trying to get it undone because you got you a baddie. Hey, man, first of all, let me talk to my men. All my men, you know what I'm saying? I had talked about my baddies and I seen y'all was laughing at my ladies. But where my men that done nuts done dropped? Uh-huh, I see y'all, I see y'all, I see y'all sitting on the seat trying to adjust them. Go ahead and adjust them. It's just like our titties when our titties be in the bra and they move to the front, we got that Cyclops titty. I see you adjust them nuts. I know them nuts be sticking to your legs sometimes. It's all right though, it's all right. Where my wild hoes at? Come on now, y'all gotta keep it real with you. When you get older, you gotta make a little— you gotta make some adjustments. You know what I'm saying? We gotta put the powder in the titties. Y'all might have to put some talcum powder on them balls to keep them loose, you know what I'm saying? To keep them loose. Y'all don't even be wearing boxer briefs no more because them balls be doing all kind of things. Y'all like to keep them tight. All right, all right, all right. Thank you so much, Josie. Uh, I do want to give you feedback. Much better second go-around. I do wish it would have came with fresher jokes, but it's okay. But they were still funny and they actually got to the point a little bit more faster. So I like that you took our, uh, advice. And so, um, it's up to the Winos now, but even if they don't pick you, I still don't want you giving up on your comedy, okay? Because you are— I'm not giving up on my comedy. I'm gonna see you. I'm gonna see you. I'm in Raleigh, North Carolina, and I'll be doing shows out here. Here and everywhere. And I know Coco Brown too, my brother. That's one of my comedy sisters. I done done shows with her out in Goodnights.
That's what's up.
Okay, all right, cool. All right, so, uh, just step to the side. We're gonna do— you said 4 and 4, Jasmine? Uh, it's gonna be 4 and 3, yes. Okay, cool. All right, no problem. At the end of Yusuf, I'm gonna drop that poll down and put up the new one with Nina, Marcel, and AM. Okay, because I'm like, the winos is waiting on the poll right now. The poll is in there, ma'am. I don't see it. They said they don't— they're voting, so it's there. Oh, okay, they're voting. Y'all vote. She said the poll is in there. I don't know why I can't see my own poll. Maybe because it's my channel. I don't know. Okay, all right, cool. All right, so hopefully you'll win the $300. All right, who's next? Up next we have Destiny. Okay, my light might go off, but hey everyone, it's Destiny K. Um, do I have to introduce— well, say where I'm from again? Yeah, just say where you're from and then go ahead and go and sing. Yeah, okay, I'm from Charleston, South Carolina, and I'll be singing— well, I'll just surprise y'all. Okay. I don't really need to look very much further. I don't want to have to go where you don't follow. I'll hold it back again, this passion inside. I can't run from myself, there's nowhere to hide. Don't you close my door. I don't want to hurt anymore. Stay in my arms if you dare. I must imagine you there. Don't walk away from me. I have Nothing, nothing, nothing if I don't have you. You. If I don't have you. Oh, okay. Oh, I get a clap for that. Yeah. So I want to check— Sean, did you change your mind about her?
Um, no, I still think that— I think that she has potential. I think that her voice is good. I think it's just the, the breaths when it comes to certain parts of songs. But I really do feel like she is talented. I really do think that she can sing. I do.
Okay, but was it still a no for you though?
Correct.
Okay, all right, Derek, Derek, what do you think?
I mean, I, I like— I liked her, uh, I, I thought, I thought this was a, a good song choice. It's just, it's Whitney, and when you're doing Whitney, you got— I mean, maybe you need to support a line or something, I don't know, but you did a good job.
Did you just tell— don't do no drugs, the drug-free. Okay, where's the dare? Where's the dare bear? Okay, thank you, Destiny. Wait in the— wait in the back. The winos are voting. The chat is open now. If you got to go out, come back in. The poll is up. It says who is taking home the $300, and then we're going to screenshot it, okay? And then we're going to put up the other last 3, okay? So, all right, um, next, Jasmine, let's go. Next we have Yousef. Shaw's guy.
So, um, thank you so much for letting me come back. I got the, um, a quick medley of the 3 people who people used to say I sound like the most.
Okay, okay.
Uh, Music Soul Child, Donell Jones, and Jagged Edge.
Okay, okay. How many times have I called you while you were working just to say? I left messages on your answering machine about 3 or 4 times a day. There aren't any more ways in words that I can say. Hey, so I'll just say numerically from my soul to you: 1, 4, 3. Do you mind if I take this seat right here? 'Cause you're sitting alone. If you're sipping on Chris, girl, I'm buying that. I heard you got a nigga, don't lie.
Ain't got the front for me. I'mma give you these digits, you can call.
Hit me on my cell if I'm not home. See, are you down to swingin' that with me?
Or could you be blind by all this ice you see?
I'm willing to give you all this love I got. Come on, Sean!
No relationship involved, gotta keep it strictly physical.
All this love, love waiting just for you, and don't pass it up.
Cause you'll regret it too.
And I'll be patiently waiting to hear from you. Are you gonna be the one? Are you gonna be the one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, I appreciate you, Yusuf. But here's the thing, Yusuf, even if you don't make it and the rhinos don't vote for you, I want you to email me. I'm gonna I'm gonna work with you, okay?
Okay, thank you so much. I didn't, um, I haven't sang in a long time, so I really need to warm up, but I feel like I still got it and I could still do it. I just wanted to show a little bit of range, but I got original songs for real too.
I like, I like the Donnell Jones, uh, choice. Second.
Thank you.
No problem. You look out of breath. You look out of breath. You okay?
Uh, yeah, I am, and I'm nervous and everything, but not really. Like, the nerves help for me before perform it, so it helped me to get into character. But I do still need to practice with my breath and everything, and I feel like I already know what the critiques are because I've heard them before, and I just need to work on them, you know?
Okay, okay. All right, cool. Well, thank you so much, Yusuf. All right, but send me an email, all right?
All right, yes, I will.
Okay, go, Derek. What were you gonna say, Derek? Go.
No, you know, I was sitting there thinking Man, I just, I just really sitting there thinking, and, uh, he's giving me Waiting to Exhale vibes. You remember, you remember whenever, uh, the brother was standing outside of Lila Rashawn, uh, apartment throwing them oranges up there, and he was in that vest and he went, 'You raggedy—' That's the vest. I think it was the vest. It, the vest gave me I didn't like it still.
It's my fault. I feel bad. I asked him to come back and sing. You should feel bad. I like him. I like him.
How you feel that y'all not gonna split this money now?
I don't think he has a bad voice. I do think he— like he said, with his breath, there was a lot of You know, it was a lot of breath, but I feel like if he gets rid of those breaths, I think he would sound like a lot better. Um, and then I do think that he kind of needs to like tone his personality down a little bit. He can come off really like abrasive, you know, like a know-it-all. Um, or, you know, like— and I don't think that that's what he means. It don't seem like he means it like in a negative way, but it does kind of come off as negative. Um, like a— like not really approachable type of situation. So I do think he kind of needs to tone that down a little bit, you know, be more open and more welcoming to like criticism and opinions and things like that. Like, how he gonna want to work with you if you don't really seem open, you know, to criticisms and things like that? So I think he should tone that down. It does kind of come off a little stuck up, like nose in the air, you know. Um, so I feel like he should—
but you're the one that pointed out his talent. Somebody— he can sing. He wouldn't even be right.
Now again, I said by him talking 66 miles per hour that it did seem as if that he could hold a tune, if he could hold his breath for that.
We got more, we got a few more people waiting backstage. Jasmine, how many more we got? There's just 3. Okay, so you, you screenshot the first poll, right? I did. Okay, cool. All right, so second poll is going up, our last 3, and then we're gonna see who's gonna take this $300 home. Yep. You ready for Nina? Yes. All right, what up y'all? Hi. Hey Nina, welcome back. Hey Tasha K girl. What's going on? Detroit in the house. So what song you singing tonight? Um, since y'all said I need to go a little wider range, I'm gonna do Keisha Cole. Okay. All right, so go ahead. It's for the winos this time, so go ahead. Okay. I used to think that I wasn't fine enough, and I used to think that I wasn't white enough, but I won't waste my time trying figure out why you playing games. What's this all about? And I can't believe you're hurting me. I made your girl. What a difference. What you seen in her, you ain't seen in me. But I guess it was all just make-believe. Oh. Never knew what I was missing, but I knew once we start kissing, I found love. Never knew what I was missing, but I knew once we start kissing, Okay, much better. And like I said, Keisha Cole can't sing, but you can. Well, thank you, thank you very much. I was on my way home from work in the car too, so standing probably made it a little better. But thank you, thank you very much. It's fine, it's fine. Okay, cool. All right, so the Winos are voting. Tell the Winos why they should vote for you, because they voting right now in the chat. The poll is up, guys, for Nina Walker. I mean, two lips can say anything. Action is right here in your face, you know what I'm saying? It's all the proof is in the pudding. So, okay, vote for me because I got the— I, I got the talent that y'all looking for. Sure. All right, let's go, let's go. All right, cool. All right, so Jasmine, let's go. Just wait backstage. What we're gonna do too, to make it really fair, is we're gonna take our top 3 and then you guys re-vote for them. So, because we had to split the poll in 2, and so the lowest votes will just go out and then we'll just leave the top 3 and then let them do a final vote. They don't have to re-perform, but then, you know, so we'll make it even. I was just gonna take the one who won the first poll and the one who won the second poll and let them vote that way. That's, that's even better. That's even better. Okay, cool. All right, cool. So, all right, who's next? Next we have Marcella Love. Hey, Marcella! Hello! There she go, and she got some good Wi-Fi. Hey, come on, Diamond! All right, she got that tablecloth. She, she coming to cook. She coming to cook. Let's go, let's go, Marcella, let's go! Okay, um, I'm thinking between which and still need it, but I think I'm gonna do— okay, it feels like her Wi-Fi going out just a little bit, ain't it? Huh? Come a little closer. I'm closer because when you back up, your voice leaves. So bring the phone right— that's better. Okay, is it still better now? Much better. If you stay that close, people gonna be able to see— they're gonna be able to hear everything you're saying. Let's go, Marcel! I'm rooting for you. I wish I could vote, but I can't. Come closer. I will play the fool forever just to be with you forever. I believe in miracles, in life, miracles. This baby, my dream come true. Ah, ah, ah, what love now. Free, 'cause I believe in you and me. Okay, I believe in you and me. Okay, all right. Okay, wow. You know how you know you can sing is when it was hard to hear and we still knew that it's a jamming. And you can see it's a jamming and you know it's a jamming. I knew she was coming to cook. I knew you were coming to cook, baby. Stay right there. I wish you would have just stayed closer to the— and just sang that shit, but for some reason your Wi-Fi was going out. But don't you worry, when we do our final, if you make it through and we do our final, final, baby, you're gonna be on the stage and they're gonna be able to hear you and you're gonna be able to prove to Sean that you can carry a stage, okay?
And so listen, that's our only issue because the talent is there.
Yes, yes, you've got to go like, yo, you, you were, you was, you was on something just then. I— hey, listen, you— hey, hey, you did— yeah, you was on something then.
And that was a Whitney Houston song, girl. Hell yeah. Yes. Okay, coming in and out of them jumps. You coming in? I knew she was coming to cook. I saw them. I saw the tablecloth. Shit. Anybody got a— anybody got a tablecloth you got to fold up? You can't wash that in the washing machine. You got to wipe that bitch off with some bleach and soap and water, some dial soap, and scrub it. You know what I'm saying? So listen, all right, so Marcella wait backstage. They're voting right now. You guys If you love Marcella, you want to see her on tour, you want to see her win this $300, vote for Marcella, okay? In the chat. All right, wait backstage. Last person, come on, come on, come on. She— look at Derek was out the chair like, where my plate?
Hey, because I think it's a tie right now between two people. I—
it's two at my top right now. Okay, all right, well, it's the Winos, it's not us. They can totally flip this. We'll be sitting there like, we did all this work for what? What happened? Damn. All right, come on, last person. Let's go, let's go. Try to end this at 9:30. All right, 8 AM, how you doing? Oh, I'm on here. I'm doing all right. I'm a little nervous, I ain't gonna lie. Hey, Marcella got some— okay, y'all gotta clap for her. I got my other phone in my hand. Y'all gotta clap for Marcella. Go crazy. I ain't gonna lie. You got some more. You got, you got some competition. Let's go, AM. Let's go. I'm, I'm, I might be jumping over the threshold with this song, but I'm, I'm, I'mma go, uh, Maxwell, Pretty Wings. Okay. All right, y'all ready? Yes. Time will bring no real end of our trial. One day there'll be no remnants, no trace, no residual feelings within you. One day you won't remember me. Say, your face will be the reason I smile, but I will not see what I cannot have forever. I'll always love you. I hope you feel the same. Oh, whoa, you played me dirty. You get so bad, it's all my affection. Had to fill out my prescription, found a remedy. I had to set you free, away from me, to see clearly the way that love can be when you her not with me. I had to live. I had to live. I had to live. I had to live. If I can't have you, let love set you free to fly your pretty wings around. Pretty wings, your pretty wings. Tweaks your pretty wings, pretty wings around. He said, I came for you, all right, transformed your love into a lie. Said, baby, believe me, I'm sorry I told you lies. I turned day And tonight, sleep till I died a thousand times. I should have showed you better nights, better times, better days. And I miss you more and more. If I can't have you, let love set you free to fly your pretty wings. Wings. I know, I know, I love— I loved it, you know. And I'm an R&B girl all day. I love my R&B. I, I, I go to the gym listening to it. I'm, I'm always, you know. So, um, like I said, the round is up to the winos, but I do want to tell you, if you don't make it, you know, you can come back for the other shows and get— I'm always come back. Oh yeah, I am gonna always come back. I'm always come back for y'all. Okay, so you know, we're gonna be live every week, you know what I'm saying, until we get it. And so who knows, you and Marcella may be on this, the big stage together, you know what I'm saying? Complete hard body. Marcello's hard body, I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, she, she, she like that. She's like that. Like, but you like that too, so you know, it'd be nice to see y'all do a song together. That would be dope. Hey, Marcella, lock in with it's your boy. Lock in. Y'all go listen to all my music on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, whatever, at the same AM name. I got all types of music, man. I got rock songs, I got soul, so I got a Spanish song, I got all type of shit, man. Y'all lock in with me. Love it, I love it. So listen, like, if you don't win tonight, like I said, come back on another show and you may be able to kill every voice that's there. And then you and Marcella— because he says he doesn't think Marcella is ready for a tour, so you may be ready. You never know, 100,000 people, they all gonna scream. I'm going crazy. All right, all right, all right. Okay, so we got everybody. So Jasmine, who were the top 2? Uh, Sheik came and bullied me and told me I gotta do a top 3, so the top 3 are Simply Key. And how many votes? Uh, she was— it doesn't say the amount of votes, but she had 57% of the votes. Okay. And, uh, Marcella Love, who had 45% of the votes. Okay. And next, AM at 33% of the votes. Okay, so bring those 3 up right now and then put the poll back in the chat. And then let them vote right now.
All right, that's a good 3 choices. Good choices.
Those are good choices. The winos know what they like. Yeah, good choices.
Hey, I want—
I know the next show's gonna be 2 and a half hours. Next show gonna be 2 hours. We're gonna do an hour and a half, get a minute, and then 30 minutes. Okay, who calling Nate? Who got that kid? So who cooking? Marcella cooking. I knew.
No. Yeah.
Marcella cooking and singing.
Hey, hey, you know what I see right now, Tasha? I'm looking at Marcella going, there goes my baby.
Look at you. Okay then. Turn your, uh, turn your mic on. Your mic is not on, Marcella. Turn your mic on. I'll do it again. You don't know how good it feels to call you my man. There goes my baby. You better stop. You better stop. I'm loving everything that you do. Oh boy, I've been looking at you. You're gonna let them do the video? Come on now, you're gonna let them do this? Simply Key, your mic ain't on. Turn your mic on. Turn your mic on. Life can be only what you make it. What we doing? They just stay here and they get these votes in. Did you hear that? I jump in with Ad. Y'all do what y'all do. Let's do it. Baby, don't you rush nothing. Nothing. AM, what you gonna do? Don't you know that we are all struggling? Struggling. Yeah. Okay, period. AM, you gonna let—
AM, what you gonna do?
What you doing? Hey, don't get me started though.
I don't know, simply because— simply, girl, because you got it. Simply keep— Marcella is the, the gym though right now.
She, she said she wasn't.
You said she was ready to go into the studio. We talked about the stage.
All right, so listen, mute your mic, mute your mics. Okay, AM, give me, give me 30 seconds of a, of a, uh, of a chorus real quick for these votes. Let's go, 30 seconds, let's go. Give me something, AM. Give me anything, anything, anything for these last round of votes. We about to go, we got 3 minutes for this show in. And all I see is skin. I slowly kiss your face. You're beautiful in every way. Here you are. See, I'm a man that don't believe in trust, but I'll be damned if I don't believe in us. Now we play fight up in the bathroom. Next thing you know, I'm laying next to you. Girl, promise me you'll never change. I love that. You know what I love? He brought out like my feminine energy. That's— that's— Sheck got some work to do tonight. Uh, mute yourself, A.M. I got you. All right, Marcella, let's go. 30 seconds, just 30 seconds. That one was crazy. That one was crazy. All right, Simply Keity, votes is coming in. Y'all vote, final vote. Let's go, let's go. Simply Key, you gotta unmute. Unmute yourself, unmute yourself. One minute, one minute. Sorry about that. My love is coming along. Oh wow, my lonely days are over. Yeah, all right, did that.
She did that.
All right, y'all, come on now, 30 seconds. You did that. Thank y'all. Thank you so much. All of you guys are incredibly talented. If you don't take it home tonight, you guys can still open up and come for the other talent shows and then find yourself on our stage for our finale. And the Winos are going to be able to buy tickets to that and come and really vote for y'all in real life on stage who they want to see on tour with them. Okay, so just know you're not out, but you may be out tonight. Okay, and so as I'm looking at the votes that are coming in I can tell you right now, if this was a presidential race, um, let me know when you're ready for me to end the poll. Do you want me to end the poll before you announce? All right, give me one second, 30 seconds, okay? By the time I stop spinning, Jasmine, end the poll. All right, 1, 2, 3. It's tough. It is very tough. All right, so the poll is ended, Jasmine. Okay, who did they vote out first? Unfortunately, Simply Key. Okay, it's okay, Simply, but you can say, girl, you make— you did that. You're amazing. Put your, put your, put your mic on. That was the Lord. Somebody else was supposed to win, so it's okay. Tell everybody where they can follow you. Y'all can find me on TikTok at Key TV 23. I'll be cutting up. Okay, King TV 23 and Tiffany Key on Instagram. I appreciate the ones that did vote for me. I appreciate y'all. And Sean David, wait, the way you be, uh, cutting up on, uh, that big bad Jonetta. Wow, I love it, I love it, I love it. Okay, thank you so much, Simply Key. Bye, you guys. Congrats, and hopefully we'll see you back. Okay, for sure. Come on. All right, Jasmine, who was next to go? It was— it seemed like it was a tie between Marcella and A. Oh, it was almost neck and neck, um, but 2% less is AM. Damn, AM, you lost by 2%. 2%. I want y'all to do a song together though. I'm not mad at it. That girl deserve— I mean, you know, Deborah Cox and RL, I'm down to do Oh, she said she down for a Deborah Cox RL. I really mean it. We should. I'm not gonna lie, honestly, you put both of us on the stage, we gonna tear it up. I may have to do that. AM, I need you to leave your information with Jasmine, but you need to come back though because I need you to compete for this spot because you got it. Always, always. Okay, thank y'all for having me. I appreciate everybody that voted. I appreciate everybody that performed. Y'all did good, man, for y'all to come up here and perform in front of people that's, you know what I'm saying, got a whole lot of followers and stuff. You know, it's not easy. So yeah, everybody did a good job. And tell everybody where they can find you, follow you, stream your music. Yeah, you can find me at AM the Music Artist. Not how it's spelled right here, just, just, just two letters. AM the Music Artist, no spaces. You can find me on Instagram like that. My link to all my music is on there. Uh, I'm on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, uh, SoundCloud, whatever. I'm on all of that. I got like '80s music. All right, yeah, I got a whole bunch of music. Y'all, y'all stay tuned. Y'all stay tuned. All right, cool. Jasmine, get his information please. Okay, will do. I'm gonna put it in the chat. Jasmine, I'm gonna put you in the green room. I'm gonna put you in the green room. He gonna put you in the green room. Okay, okay, okay. All right, cool. Thank you so much. Such a brother. He had me, but he had me ready to climax with that damn climax. Feel like I'm like, what, what, what, what? Check who? All right, Marcella. Hey, thank you guys so much. You in there cooking and singing, bitch. Yeah, trying to do something. Try your husband on his way home, because you cooking for somebody. Who you cooking for? Me, myself, and I, and my mom if she eat. But other than that Oh, there you have it. Okay, well, listen, I— it was such a pleasure. You can sing just in your sleep, so you definitely got it. It's naturally there. You inspire me, and, um, I can't wait to see you on the big stage. So you are coming to the big stage, okay, to compete in front of everybody to go on tour. But tonight you will take home $300, okay? Thank you guys so much. I greatly appreciate the people who voted. It. Anytime. It was the Winos that voted. They excited. They said they love you. God bless you. So real quick, uh, what's your— and do you have an Instagram? Where can people follow you? My Instagram is SangMarcella, S-I-N-G-M-A-R-C-E-L-L-A. And on YouTube, it's Marcella Love. Okay, SangMarcella and Marcella Love. Jasmine, next famous— this one on YouTube. I'm sorry, it's the same without the, uh, 2 V's. It's just one V on love. Okay, and we're gonna tag you in the reel as well too. So we're gonna leave your information with Jasmine as well, and they're going to be getting your, your money zelled over to you. So congratulations, gorgeous boys. Thank you. I— look, we getting Players Club and we getting singing and she can cook, Derek.
Hey, Marcella, you dope. I can't wait to the finals to see what you do. Um, hey, listen, the, the competition gonna get stiffer than it was tonight, and it was damn stiff competition tonight. Hey, look here, work on it, get better, and, and dog them out in the finals.
All right, all right. Okay. All right, we love you, sis. Stay backstage. Anytime. Jasmine's gonna get you all set up, and, uh, we'll see you on the big stage. In a few months. Okay, thank you. All right, bye. That was fun. Yeah, but we're gonna, we're gonna pop the show down to 2 hours. So what we're gonna do, uh, for the next show is an hour and a half of singing. They're gonna guess, they're gonna get 60 seconds to do their thing, um, and then, you know, come back. And so we'll have 30 minutes for the final finale. And maybe we'll narrow it down to just 4. Okay. Hey man, that way since the poll only does 4, so it's just an even vote and we're done. We don't have to split up the vote.
I like to showcase their talent again, like they kind of just like sang for their lives. That'd be cool to watch them do that again if they sing, you know.
No, they're gonna say— yeah, I know, I know. It seemed like it just— the singing competition is just— it took over tonight. And I like that it was raw and real, like to see her singing in her kitchen. While cooking. That was crazy. While cooking, while cooking, she was bent over in the stove. I'm gonna hold on for it. I said, that bitch can suck.
Okay, you can strike a mighty blow.
Yes, yes. I hope the winos enjoyed the show. Sean David Way, I can always enjoy you. I'm so glad we're finally working together. On a long-term basis. You are absolutely hilarious. Even when we weren't rocking with each other, you was— it was still funny watching you drag me because you are just so talented at roasting people. And that's why I tapped you to do this.
And I appreciate it. I love working with you in any capacity, but this is really fun. Like, I told you from jump when you came to me with the idea, I'm like, that sounds like a really fun idea and it's light and the audience really love stuff like this. It's just not a lot of people doing it. So I'm like, you have a platform for this, could be big.
I'm like, yeah, we're trying to take it down. Let's take it down, let's take it down. Okay, I want to do the Showtime at the Apollo with Teddy on the stage, you know, throwing them off with the wine bottle and the wine. Get them off stage! Like, I love it. Why not? Would y'all like that? A Showtime at the Apollo type style show with Teddy as the Sandman? I've been— listen, I wrote this about like maybe 5, 6 years ago, so the fact that it's coming to fruition, I'm so excited about it. Um, you said $50K if you show up on tour. Who got $50,000, man? They're gonna get paid for their talent. Where everybody get up? The hell, Derek, we'll make that kind of money on tour. You better tell them. Anyway, Derek, thank you. So much. Are you frozen again? I'm about to introduce him and tell y'all to go follow his channel and he froze. Okay, he froze. He couldn't hang it.
He couldn't— he couldn't freeze that long. He can't sit still that long, so he must be really cold.
I gotta take a picture of this. Let me take a picture of this shit. I screenshot it. He looks surprised. Who just walked in the room?
Derek D-Dawg.
Who behind that? Okay, y'all, we can follow Derek King on Derek King on YouTube, Derek King on Instagram and Facebook. He is a traveling comedian. Uh, he's wrote for some of the biggest comedians that we see out there and still currently writes for them. He has a show— where did he say his show was again? What city? I forgot. San Antonio. San Antonio at the Kitty— what again?
Wampus.
All right, listen, thank y'all so much for watching. Please, guys, if you like this video, please subscribe. Also, please take the time to subscribe to Sean Davey Way as well as Derrick King. Follow all the artists that were here tonight. We thank everybody that came through to show it off and give their all. It was absolutely a blast, and, uh, we will see you here next Thursday, uh, same time. You ready, Sean? I can't wait.
I'm even more excited because now the people that are going to watch the show, they're going to spark even more talent and more people to want to come through. So I'm excited.
I can't— I know, I can't wait either. So Sean, get, uh, check— get Sean his check so he'll show up to work next Thursday. Correct. Thank y'all so much. Now we gotta go. Shout out to our producer Jazzy. Babe, now we gotta go. Bye!
