Hey, welcome back to episode 5 of Shoot Your Shot, where we're actually looking for talent to take on the road, okay? And so each episode, a winner takes home $300 and they move on to the final finale for a chance to go on tour with us next year when we kick off our Wino Tour 2026, okay? And so listen, without further ado, I wanna introduce my funny-ass co-hosts. We're gonna start with Sean Davey-Waite. What's up, Sean? Long time, brother.
Hi! I'm so happy. Latasha, we are back. Shoot your shot.
Yes, we are back with great quality. Look at you, your video is just— I can see everything. You don't look like, you don't look like static, or you like—
yeah, okay. I see you with your little Prince earrings in, you know, just a little taste.
Okay, okay, I see you, I see you.
Ready?
You ready to get some things popping?
I'm ready to get it popping.
All right, I know you ready to drag somebody. Oh my God. That's why I'm just going to be the nurturing factor here today. Okay? And so listen, we're going to go ahead and get our third co-host up, Derek motherfucking King. What's going on, Derek?
Foul on the plate. Tasha's already lying, talking about she going to be the nurturing. People know you're not. Your ass is ready to drag folks just like Sean. Foul on the plate for Sean with them goddamn earrings. We are calling all types of flags.
Since you want to come in with the jokes, your chain is rusted. It is.
And so is that cabinet behind you.
It's brown. It's brown. The yellow in the Superman is brighter than the chain. But that's okay. How you been, Derek? You've been on tour here lately.
I've been sitting like choking the shit out of both of you Negroes.
That's what I've been doing.
Yeah, I've been on tour. Next Thursday we will be in Oklahoma City. No, no, no. In Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Tulsa Looney Bin. I need y'all to show up, man. I need—
oh, good luck with that. I will never go back to Tulsa, but good luck. They ran me out of town with the, with the dust balls, the hay balls, bitch. I swear to God, they said don't come back here no more, and I'm not going.
Oh shit. Oh, good luck.
I want to see, I want to see how you hold that down, okay?
You got to be different. I was so about to say, Latasha, help me promote.
Never mind. It was like wrong turn, asshole. Listen, we got 10 contestants waiting backstage for a chance to win $300. They got to get past us, okay? And so, uh, we're gonna move 4 of them to the final round, okay? And so since this is a pre-film show, what we're gonna have to do is leave a voting box in the comment section, okay? And so we'll end this video off with the actual singers. As a reminder, we're gonna put the voting box in the description box as well as in the comment section. You guys are gonna vote, and then we'll announce the winner of the episode who wins $300 and moves on for a chance to win a chance to perform with us on tour on episode 6, OK? And so apparently, we got some strong talent waiting backstage. And so we got a hard job to do. Y'all ready?
I'm ready. I'm ready.
OK. Now listen, I need them to know who they're up against, OK? And so episode 4, Courtney. And you got me like, oh. What you want from me? And I tried to buy your pretty heart, but the price too high. Baby, you got me like, oh. You love when I fall apart so you can put me together and throw me against the wall. Baby, you got me like, ah. Don't just stop loving me, don't quit loving me, just stop loving me. And they— Courtney blew the roof down. She's— she was— she was an American Idol.
Yeah, my favorite. One of my favorite thus far.
All right, so listen, let's go ahead. These contestants are waiting backstage to show us, um, to shoot their shot. Okay, and so Jazzy Fae Productions on my nizzle. Who's, uh, who's up first? Sabrina, how you doing? Hi, how are you? You're gorgeous. Thank you. Okay, where you, where you from? Um, Greenville, North Carolina. Okay, perfect. Can you put up our names? Is that possible so we'll remember? All right, great. Um, and so what are you going to be doing today? Um, well, today I'm gonna sing for y'all. Okay, I'm gonna do, um, Need You Bad by Jazmine Sullivan. Oh, that's my girl, one of Sean's favorite artists.
Absolutely.
Yes, yes, I love— that's my girl. Okay, all right, well, listen, the floor is yours to shoot your shot. You ready? I'm ready. All right, let's go. All right. Baby, there's nothing I wouldn't do —To get back what we had when love was true. No lie, I'll give up all I got just so I can get back in my spot. Oh boy, I need you bad like a heartbeat, bad as the air I breathe. I need you bad, I can't take this pain. Boy, I'm about to go insane. I need you, I need you, do it all for you. I need you, I need you, do it all for you. All right, let me just twirl on that one more time. Okay, I like— let me, let me save my thoughts for the end. We're gonna go ahead and start with Sean says, you know, that's one of his favorite artists, and she's, she's an amazing neo soul singer. So, um, good song choice. But, uh, Sean, what do you think of Miss Sabrina the Great? Was she great?
I think Sabrina is gorgeous. Okay. I think that choosing that song again, I thought was a very interesting choice, but I hated it. I absolutely did not like the song choice at all coming out of your mouth. It just wasn't giving what needed to be gave. But I will say this, You are talented. You can sing. Again, a lot of times coming on a show, choosing a song can be hard to do. It's like the hardest part when you can sing, right? Right, right. You do have vocals. I would be lying if I said you can't sing because I would tell— I'd be like, you're trash. But you're not. It's just that song right there, it's a very breathy song, and the— when at the times where you should have inhaled, you exhaled during certain things. But your run very cute run that you did with the pants. A very cute run.
Thank you. But other than that, it was terrible.
You're gorgeous.
Did we have to start out on this foot? What? With the terrible— it says Sabrina the Great. Yeah, it don't say Sabrina the Terrible.
Yes, that song was Sabrina the Awful.
Is it, is it a yes or no, Sean?
It is an absolute no, but I'd be like you. I do.
Derek came. Damn, is Sabrina great?
Damn, I don't know no more. The way Sean put it Hey, listen, first off, I like Jasmine too, but I'm not that much of a Jasmine fan where I know where you supposed to take your breaths. I thought you sang the song the way that you wanted to sing the song, and that's what you're supposed to do with the song. You're supposed to make that song your own, so breathe the way you breathe. The damn boy don't know what he talking about up there. Are you shading me? Did I talk while you and your earrings was talking? Did I talk while you and your earrings were talking? No, I did not. Here's what I'm saying. I think that you can— since Sean clearly said you have talent, we're gonna go with that. You do have talent. Um, I liked it. It wasn't my absolute favorite, but I didn't think it was that terrible. I think you did well enough, just well enough to move forward. You didn't blow me away, but I think you did well enough to move forward. So for me, I'm saying yes, but I would agree with him. Choose something that's gonna really show off your whole talent.
Right. I respect that. Yeah, that's what I say. Hey, okay. So, you know, we're just stage 1, and it's going to be the viewers that vote at the end of the show, um, for who's the greatest, who, who shot their shot the best. Okay. And so, um, while I feel like their critiques are valid, you gave me chills. So there was just something about the way you performed that just gave me chills. Like, it was like you touched me, right? So I have to go with that. That means I was entertained. Entertained. I was into it, and I'm not going to go against that. And I'm an entertainer first, and so you can suck at anything, but if you can entertain a motherfucker, you know what I'm saying, that, that carries you. But it won't carry you long term. So I do, um, kind of will have to agree with, uh, with both of them that, um, I feel like there's more to you. There's more I want to give you. Yeah, you have a beautiful voice and you're beautiful I can see Neo Soul all over you. So it's going to be a yes for me. So we're moving you on to the next round, but it's up to the winos to vote you through to see if you're gonna, you know, win the $300 and a chance to go on to the final finale to compete against, you know, season 1— I mean, not season 1, episode 1 through 4 contestants. Okay. All right. All right. So hold backstage. All right. All right. Thank you. You're welcome.
Latasha, was she on break at a call center?
What'd you say? Was she on break at a call center?
When I seen that microphone right there, I thought—
why you ain't ask her if she was on break at a call? She probably worked from home. My sister, I swear to God, she walk around with one of them on, you know what I'm saying, cussing out the kids and taking, uh, patients from Blue Cross Blue Shield on the phone. Yeah. What'd you say, your vagina itching today? You know how you got it? Okay, I'm gonna write you some doxycycline. Yeah, okay, cool. Sit your fucking ass down. That's exactly how she be. Yeah, hilarious. Who's next? Who? Manny Solo. How you doing, Manny? All right, so my name is Manny Solo.
I'm a recording artist in Nashville, Tennessee. Um, I rap. I'm gonna perform something called Dear You, and I hope y'all like it.
All right, let's go. All right, cool.
Dear you, I guess today is goodbye and the last time I look in your eyes. So many years that we spent, I can't pretend that this ain't a surprise, but your true colors came in disguise. And I know that I'ma see you when I see you, but what you did was lethal. You said you love me, but I don't believe you. That shit should be illegal. You should have been transparent, well enough for me to see through. Instead, you made it hard for me to see you. Now you're with somebody else and I'm just sitting here. I try to call you just to talk and you just disappeared. I'm in a world all by myself and it's so different here. See, if you walk the mile in my shoes, you get a different pair. Listen here, 'cause you made it hard for me to love again. Got so many scars, you made it hard for me to trust again. What you did was painful and you hurt me where I need to live. And you took so much that it's impossible for me to give. I'm heartless, my heart was your home. You turned that place to an apartment. I love you still regardless. I don't know what the. You just did.
I'm be honest with you, dog.
I don't know what. I don't know what you just. Hey, Doc, I think it's artistic expression, but.
No, I, man, no, Dog.
Hey. Hey, dog. Hey, listen, dog, I. I don't know, man. I don't know what the to say because I had so many high hopes for you, and then, like, I, I don't all right? Like, I feel like something is going on in your life and you just want to tell people about it. I don't know what the fuck you just did. I'm gonna be honest with you, dog. I don't know what— I don't know what you just— hey, dog, I think it's artistic expression, but no, I— shit, man. No, dog. Hey, hey, dog. Hey, listen, dog, I don't know, man. I don't know what the fuck to say because I had so many high hopes for you, and then like, I don't know, nigga. Are you— are you all right? Like, I feel like something is going on in your life and you just want to tell people about I mean, I think we could both feel that way with the Superman shirt you got on too. I think I can check on your temp too, see if you okay, because that's not it. That's not it either. But we could— that's neither here or there. Continue. No, I'm just— listen, I'm not coming at you. I just—
no, I just don't know what happened.
Let's choose a different word when we're telling him what to do. Let's not say no shit like that. But, but I just don't know what happened. So I'm saying no, because it wasn't rap. And it wasn't singing, it was like fast-paced poetry. I just didn't fucking understand. Yeah, well, we got to do this acapella, so— No, I get it. That's just what it is. I feel you. And it's been people that did acapella, the shit was just— it like, that didn't move me. Ain't shit on you, but I'm saying—
Yes or no, Derek?
No, I had to spray the air freshener to get that out of here.
All right, uh, Sean, what'd you think of Manny? I loved it.
It gave like a Kendrick Lamar, you know, like type of feel to it. And then I was imagining like a beat behind it. So imagining a beat behind it Yeah, so, and I'm into that type of hip-hop. Like, a lot of people don't understand, for real, like, I'm into like deep hip-hop. But at the same time, he can spit, so he's not trash, like, at all whatsoever. Again, you are a hater, so, you know, you are going to put the word Derek. But overall, out of being him being an actual rap artist, he is an artist, like a real artist. He came prepared. You could tell this is what we do. He was confident. I like the fact that he can perform. He has— he's confident about what he does.
Okay, it's a yes for me. All right, so we got one no, one yes. Uh, Derek, do you feel like that was shots fired at you?
Uh, no, man, listen, hey, hey, listen, from the moment dude came on screen, I knew what Sean's ass was gonna be. Get all out of my face. From the moment dude came on screen, I saw Sean go, hell yes. Sean did that shit with his hip-hop.
Isn't that a part of like when you see somebody, do they have like interest in some type of appeal to grab your attention?
You know, let me say that he looks like an artist. He has that look like, yo, no, hold on, I gotta— let me correct that. I am an artist. I don't get— I'm not saying that you're not an artist. I said you even— I know, but you said, you said I look like one. I was just correcting that. You do look like an artist. You can be an— listen, some people don't look like it. You look like it. Not that you aren't, you just look like it, though. Don't be so sensitive, but you look like it. Nah, it sounds like a setup. I was just cleaning it up before you did. It ain't no setup. You look— you gotta look. We gonna— okay, Tasha, I think we already heard Derek's opinion.
Oh, I like it, Derek. Damn, Derek. Damn.
Let me drink out of my flask. My little twist. Yeah, you go ahead.
You take a shot. Listen, Manny. Okay, so let me list definitely pros. You do— I love the presentation. Okay. I love that you came prepared. The microphone, the voice is definitely amplified. If being an artist in the music business doesn't work out for you, I would definitely ask you to start some type of podcast or something because you do have a soothing voice and people will listen to you. So yeah, so that you can that's a whole nother lane you could explore because you have a deep, bassful voice. Okay, and then on top of that, you look good. So you can appeal to all audiences, whether it be male, female, white women gonna love you, you know. But as far as for the artistry, here's the thing, I'm not gonna say you can't rap because you can rap. I just like to see originality. And for me, all I saw was Kendrick. And when you started to rap, I was like, okay, it was giving spoken word when you started. But then when you started to go a little deeper, and you were speeding up your words and stuff, it sounded extremely similar to like what Kendrick does. And I just want to see some originality. It's sort of like, you know, like when— who was the young lady that performed the Jasmine Sullivan song? Like she made it her own, you know. And I want to see like you rap, but it's in your own style, own voice, because you don't even talk like Kendrick. Kendrick talks like he raps. You know what I'm saying?
So I actually don't listen to Kendrick. I don't listen to Kendrick. I actually listen to J. Cole. But I always got that comparison whenever I did rap. But I don't listen to Kendrick, though. Yeah.
When you go back and watch this show, you're going to hear it strong, right? And so for me, it was just lacking the originality. There are other episodes that you could come and try out for. It's going to be a no for me now because I kind of want to see you come back and do something that's fool you, because like I said, the voice we heard on the mic and the voice that you're talking in is two different voices. And it was just— it was, to me, it kind of was like, is it him or is he mimicking somebody else? And so for now, it's going to be a no, but I want you to come back. Respect. All right, I'll be at the next one. Shut the fuck up, Derek. I like Manny. You want another episode with a different song?
Okay, I'll be— I'll be on the—
I'll be on the All right, cool, cool, because he got the package. He does.
I knew from the moment that nigga came on screen and Sean did his lips like this.
Sean's like, um, hold on for a second, Manny, stay backstage because we got to process your video, okay? Even if you don't get chosen, you got to stay to the end so we can process all your videos, okay? All right. Or can they just pop back in on that same link, or it takes too long? Okay, all right, cool. All right, so that was, uh, interesting. Derek, you just got like— he shot his shot at you, and that shit was funny.
That shit wasn't good. And if it was good, I would have said it was good. That shit was— I don't know. I know a nigga named Kendrick Jones. You two compared that nigga to Kendrick Lamar, and that damn sure wasn't no Super Bowl halftime performance.
Well, Kendrick's Super Bowl halftime performance sucked. The game was over. Yeah, and so do you, Derek. Who's next? Jasmine? Monica? How you doing, Monica? How do I sound right now? You good. All right, so let's stabilize that camera. Can you put that camera down on something so we can have— I want to see the dress though. Can we back up? I want to see the fit. It's cute. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Okay, okay, let me see. Yeah, okay, okay. I thought it was giving muumuu at the top, but I like that it's a romper, the whole shirt. Okay, cool, cool. What you gonna be doing for us today? Well, I was trying to do some comedy, but I'm, I'm stressing out over here. That was a whole segment. It was funny as fuck. Okay, hell yeah, it was. Yes. Okay, I try to get to it, I try to get to it. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Y'all gotta hold on to Okay, y'all ready? Yes, we're ready. Where you from? Where you calling from? I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From Wisconsin. I didn't even know they had Black people out there until I was on my plane one day and I was like, Black people, stop playing. We run, we run in Milwaukee. Then I heard it was like they actually had a hood out there in that shit. Oh, don't go there, we got a bad one. You ready, Miss Kane? Um, um, um, yes, I am ready. I am ready. I am ready. Okay, you got the whole thing for you today. All right, let's go. Okay, okay, so I'm gonna start off natural. Hold on a second, I lost my goddamn spot. This is not working today. I'm just— oh Jesus. My whole— look, my whole thing is talking about the kids. I need to talk about my own old ass. Yeah, yeah. What is she looking for right now? I wrote my stuff down in the Bible. Okay, here we go, here we go, here we go. Okay, give me some support, y'all. Don't knock me down too early. All right, let me, let me do an intro for her. All right, welcome Miss Monica King from Milwaukee. She is here to do some comedy. And without further ado, make some noise for Monica! Hey everybody, thank you for welcoming to the show. I am Monica. Again, I'm a single woman in my 50s, fabulous. I have no children to my own decision. And other than that, I am wondering why— what is going on with our children in today's world? I understand that we is a hard time, uh, raising our babies and things of that nature, but when I look out into the public and I watch everybody. I'm trying to figure out how the children are being raised. Are they being raised by zookeepers? Are they being raised by parents? Because when you go out and you find the children and you look at them, they barking at each other, they stomping on each other, they eating up each other, eating ass, eating everything else. And you kind of figure out what kind of trauma is they going through in a home when one will bend down and eat one's ass. But nevertheless, nevertheless, nevertheless, that's a funky movement going on right now. So I'm freestyling right now because this is not what I wrote. It's all good, keep it, keep it up.
Derek, Derek said you just gonna do that on me like that? No, no, no, no, I'm gonna— I only stopped it because it was past that time, and then I didn't want you to— I didn't want you to get out of where you was at, Tasha. I'm gonna let you control it, but I mean, as a comedian, I didn't want you to, you know, listen You, you funny. You're funny. No, no, listen.
Well, Derek, go ahead, go ahead, critique.
I'm sorry, Tasha, you're funny. Don't try to be funny, you just are. Okay. Like, when you were trying, it was like, it was hard to watch. When you just being you, that shit funny. Okay. It needs to be natural. Whatever you wrote, I don't care nothing about that. We, the audience, don't care nothing about that. Okay, just beef. You don't have no kids, girl, say fuck them kids, you know what I mean? That's why, like, I don't have any. Like, yo, in the evening, I thought it— I thought it was funny. You do have some potential. You have to get on the stage. Have you ever performed on a stage before?
I've never done comedy or anything in front of anyone. This is my first time. I can tell.
However, this is amazing. I'm proud of you. This is my first time. Let me tell you something, I'm extremely proud of you. Um, the only, the only reason I'm gonna say no is because of lack of experience. However, there is a lady named Mickey with the T who lives in Milwaukee. Okay, I want you to know, I don't think Mickey got a mohawk. Mickey, Mickey keep a— I don't know, she might have more. Okay, but Mickey with the T Monica, I want you to— I want you to look out for her. I want you to look her up on the internet and tell her that I sent you to her. I need you to get into the comedy club. I think you funny just on some natural shit. It's just a no because we're in a competition, but I like you. Hell, you're my name Monica. You all right by me.
All right, all right, all right. My heart is beating so fast, y'all. I apologize. It's okay, it's okay.
Monica, are you related to Derek?
I don't know that man.
Well, y'all have the same last name. I was just checking, seeing if he got his auntie to come audition. So no, okay. I liked you. I thought you were very refreshing. I know it takes a minute, like when you're doing comedy especially, like to get into the groove. Move. And again, you're new, this is your first time, um, doing it, so you're definitely going to be in your nerves. I know that feeling. Um, so I think you did a really good job. Again, it takes a lot to get up here. Comedy is hard. Like, it is no easy craft. Like, it's one of the hardest crafts to get into, deciding if a person is funny. So getting into that bag— so like, overall, I think you're beautiful. I think you're— you— again, I will say, listen to Derek when he says be yourself, because you did have cracking up. Like, I was literally like, where you're like, where the— just you being yourself, you are naturally funny, you know. So I would say that there is a lot of potential here, and I would say keep going. And I'm going to say yes just because I enjoyed you. I thought you were— thank you, thank you. Yes for me. Thank you.
Interesting.
He hate agreeing with me, that's his problem. That's his problem. My judgment has nothing to do with it. Yes, it does. Eat your heart out. Get over yourself.
All right, let me jump in, okay? These two obviously have some, you know, issues. You are a breath of fresh air. When you smile, I smile. That is a natural just gift that's God-given. And I do believe that God put comedy in you because you just have a personality that just lights up the room, okay? And so You were funny from the time you was messing with the camera and showing off. And then even when you were trying to do your comedy, I could see it coming out. Like, it's just that we got to see Monica, you know what I'm saying? I felt like it was a little rehearsed, but we got to see Monica. Let me tell you what I do. I'm going to give you just a little tip. Derrick may be like, oh, that— but I do this. So what I do is before I do any performance, when it comes to comedy in my shows. I write the show, of course, beginning, middle, and end. I always like to tell my comedy shows, because I typically have an hour to an hour and a half with a beginning, middle, and an end. 98% of the time I hit that. Sometimes I just have a wild crowd and I just have to kind of go with the flow. The motherfuckers just take over the show. Those are what you call your hecklers. But for the most part, I do write it out. Then I say it back to myself as if I'm the audience and I record it. Okay, one time with all the ad-libs, the highs, lows. And I do it— if I gotta do— sometimes it may take me about 3 or 4 times to record it in that tone. And then what I do is— and I usually do that the day of because I'm the type of person, I got ADHD, I can't do it the day before. I got to do it the day of and it's all on my brain. And then I walk around the neighborhood hours before my show and I'm listening to me perform that in a very natural voice by myself, because that's when I feel the most comfortable. So when I hit that stage, it's already rehearsed in my head, but it's going to come off natural because I've been listening to it for 6 hours. Okay. Even when I'm not trying to listen to it, I just have it in. I may be in the shower, it's going on. I may be washing dishes, I may be cooking, I may be taking a walk, and it's just penetrating my subconscious. So when I do you get on stage, it come off so natural, as if like, this bitch just wrote— I just wrote this this morning. I just wrote it. I swear to God, I write all my comedy the day of. Derek, as a trained professional, will call me crazy as fuck, but I do that every day. I memorize it, and guess what? I write a whole new set for a new show. So I just want to put that out there. Um, I do think that you are going to go far if you stick to it. Um, for now, it's going to be a no for me. Um, but that doesn't mean that you don't have it, like, because you, you definitely have the it factor. It's just the lack of experience. I will be back, girl. Come on now, be back, because I want to put you on. I will be back. Let's go, baby! All right, Miss Monica. All right, y'all have a good one. Fuck them kids, bitch. I still got my flat stomach, hoe. Right, bitch. Right, I got you, I got you, I got you, I got you, baby. Y'all have a good one. Love you. We'll see you next time. And come back, like, let Adrian know, the producers, if you want to do like, you know, episode 7 or 8, you can come back. I got you. Okay, y'all have a good one. Problem. All right, great advice. Y'all got to get therapy.
No, that's that shit. It's him.
Latasha, this ain't got nothing to do with me.
Well, on my camera it showed that I'm pointing at the right person, and I wish you move your head out the way. From right, and that's unfortunate. It's almost 60, not knowing your left from your right. First of all, let me, let me say this right here. The nigga don't want to agree with me, Tasha. That nigga know damn well that my ain't one of the—
like, for real. Y'all need therapy. We need a— we need Tyler Perry to start a real co-ed strip club like he did in, um, Beauty and the Black. And there's men there and there's women there, and y'all have cigars, and you have your woman, he has his man, and y'all break the ice.
Tasha, you remember on Bewitched how they would do their nose like this? Sean need to twinkle that shit earring and get some— get his shit together. That's what he need to do. Ding-a-ling-a-ling-ling-ling with the fucking earring.
Did you like the advice I gave Monica? I know you old school comedy coaches would be like, hell no.
I'm very old school. She needs to get on the stage. I think she's so refreshing. She just got damn funny without trying. When she was trying to be funny, that written shit, I was like, no. That's why I saved her, because see, this was about to be a fucking train wreck and I saw that shit going off.
No, she's just— she's snatching herself. Like, I just wrote, I was like, no, you should have kept it going, should have kept it going. But it's cool. I hope she come back. Who's next, Jasmine? Tan is back! How you doing, Tan? Can y'all hear me now? Can you hear me now? Oh, you can see you? Yes, ma'am. Okay, where are you calling from, Tan? Not from Tulsa. Um, I'm actually from Enid, Oklahoma, but I live in Oklahoma City. And I know about— okay, I tried to tell you a few times in some comments, but your comments be going fast and stuff. So it is— you can go to wrong turn, asshole. They ran me about that. Yeah, I said come to Oklahoma City. And we just won, so shout out to the Thunder. Yes, Thunder Up! Okay, okay, okay. So, uh, Derek will be in Tulsa. You gonna go see him? I'm not driving 4 hours to Tulsa. I love you. When you come to Oklahoma City, I'll drive downtown. To see you. Okay, I've been to Bricktown several times. All right, all right, you know what I'm talking about. Where you at? The Tulsa Comedy Club, Derek?
Yeah, the Tulsa Looney Bean. Uh, she's talking about Bricktown Comedy Club, which I've been to several times. Uh, last time I'm about to be here as well.
And okay, okay, yeah, all right, cool, cool. I'm gonna go to Oklahoma City next. It won't be Tulsa. Thank you. Then I will come see you. What are you going to be doing today on Shoot Your Shot? I'm going to sing. Okay, what you singing? I'm singing some SZA. All right, SZA. That's a hard voice to go after. She has a very unique voice. You ready? Mm-hmm. Get your water. All right, so, hey, Prince, shoot your shot, mama. Let's go. Done with these niggas. I don't love these niggas. I dust off these niggas. I do it for fun. Don't take it personal. Personally, I'm surprised you call me after the things I said. Skirt, skirt on niggas. Skirt up on niggas. Skirt down. You acting like me, acting like we wasn't more than A summer fling, I said farewell, you took it well. Promise I won't cry over spilled milk. Give me another hour or two, I will be yours. Why you bother me when you know you don't want me? Why you bother me when you know you don't want me? You know, you know. Okay, I'm sorry. All right, Miss J Prince, we gonna start with Sean. Sean, why the fuck did you bust out laughing on Tan? On Tan? Because that line, that line is what she said.
Tan said, I came to slay. Okay, look here, y'all let me up here, I'm about to do this. So I appreciate the confidence, girl, but that was terrible.
Turn your volume down just a little bit, it Got distorted all of a sudden, just a little bit. Okay, yeah, it was— a little bit more, a little bit more.
There we go, right here, right here.
We're good, Dirk, we're good.
Let's go. Perfect. So it was terrible. Now I understand that song is more so of like a rap thing, you know, type of song. That's why I understand why he chose it, because it don't take much vocals to sing that song. But it was a cute try, but it's definitely a hell no for me.
But, uh, that was a cute try.
That was good. That was a fortunate— no.
All right, all right, all right. He said no. Derek, what's going on?
I mean, listen, Tim, you already said it. Can't trust these niggas, and you done trusted Sean David Way ass, and you shouldn't trust him. 10. Listen, I liked your performance. It was the performance that I liked, not necessarily the song or the song choice, but I liked your performance. I think you're a performer. I don't necessarily think that you're like the greatest singer, but as a performer, I think you got something. Okay.
That part. I like right there. I like that part.
It was the first 45 seconds that I was timing that. I got to go off of that part. I like. I want you to come back, but today, no. I hope you get allergies from that. That aerosol that you're spraying. I hope you have allergy attacks. I hope you get eczema. All right, all right. So you got two nose. All right, so here's the thing. No, 10. That part I like right there. I like that part. It was the first 45 seconds that I was timing that I got to go off of. That part I like. I want you to come back, but today, no.
I hope you get allergies from that, that aerosol that you're spraying. I hope you have allergy attacks. I hope you get eczema. All right, all right, so you got 2 nos. All right, so here's the thing. Um, you are entertaining. I'm gonna give it to you. I love the confidence. I love it. Uh, me and you could be good, good, good. Well, first of all, we're winos. You're a wino, right? Yes. Yes. Okay, cool. So I would love to do karaoke with you, but just— and if we had a karaoke Latasha K Presents, I would definitely book you for the karaoke spot because the confidence is there. Now here's two things. It sounds like you can sing when you were doing the— no, no, but I didn't hear that with SZA. And I'm gonna be honest with you, SZA is not one of my favorite artists at all. I don't like her. True, true. I can understand. A lot of people— she's gotten bigger, she's gotten bigger since she's gotten, um, out there a little bit more. But okay, all right, well, what you mean? Oh, since she, you know, she's gotten bigger since she's, um, you know, she did do the Sizzle Bowl— I mean, Super Bowl this year. So I thought, okay, maybe I'll do her and I won't do, um, like somebody like, it's all right, I'm not dangerous when you're mine, I'll be generous. And, and yeah, y'all can be mad. I'm not mad, I just— Tan, I want you to choose a song that's in your voice range. Um, and I want you to come back on another episode. So, because you are entertaining, um, and I think you, you don't take your singing that serious. I think if you start to take it serious and you do some coaching— I have a whole album on Spotify. You have a whole album? Yes, I do. On my, on my YouTube channel, I did a whole— why? You can say whatever you want to, Sean. I am a songwriter. I've been singing since I was I sang for Life.Church on stage for 5,000 people every weekend for over a year. So I know, and I, and y'all can feel whatever y'all feel, but I don't know. I just— it was just the audition for me. I'm not saying that you're not talented, uh, Tan. I promise you I'm not. And like I said, it sounds like you can sing. It was just a song choice. I'm not a SZA fan. I think I think SZA is a very lazy singer. I— yeah, she's more of a rap singer, like Sean said. That's probably why I don't like her. It's like, you got to pick a lane, I feel like. You gonna rap or you gonna sing? Which one is gonna be? Or if she wants to sing, put a rapper on the track, right? So, but would you come back and give us another song within your range? Something maybe like a gospel song since you sang for the church? Well, yeah, I could do that. Yeah. Something else. And all right, cool. All right, so we'll get Adrian to get you scheduled out on another episode. We'll see you. See you later, Tan. All right, y'all. Bye. All righty.
An album? What's it called? Annoying AF EP?
She's backstage. She gonna get your ass later, Chase. She's gonna be in your DM.
She's gonna fuck you up.
She better come up with that with the Holy Spirit. Bring your Bible, girl. Miss— we've only chosen— first of all, we've only chosen one person so far. We gotta— we gotta have at least two. Four is the max, but we gotta have at least two to compete against, okay?
So y'all keep saying no. I've said yes.
Who did you say yes to?
Who do we say yes to? Uh, Kendrick Lamar? No, we said— I think we picked somebody, haven't we? We did. Me and Tasha did.
Yeah, we picked the Jasmine Sullivan, uh, uh, singer. Oh yeah, that's right. What's her name again?
Oh yeah, Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Sabrina the Teenage— who's next, Jasmine? Miss Chris, how you doing? I'm doing fantastic. You look beautiful. Thank you. Yes. Where you calling from? Capitol Heights, Maryland. Okay, okay. Which I'll say, yous and toos. That's Baltimore. That's Baltimore. I love it, I love it. So what you gonna be doing today? Oh, just a little bit of comedy to see if I can make you guys laugh a little bit, lighten the load, you know, have a little haha moment. All right, cool. You ready? Yeah, I'm, you know, basically just being transplanted here in DC, and I'm learning a lot about DC all of a sudden. I mean, it's like, as far as like delivery drivers, you call a delivery driver to get an Uber Eats or something like that, they want you to come downstairs and pick up the delivery from their car. I'm like, what kind of mess is this? It's not what I'm used to. Then my son, I'm calling him from Virginia, he got other issues he going through. He has a situation where he got a lot of Hispanic people in his community, and he's like, Mom, how can I get these Hispanic people to, to get to know me and be my friend? I was like, you know, just say hi to them. And he's like, I keep saying hi to them and they keep going back in the house every time. I'm like, what are you 'What do you say?' And they— he always say— I say, uh, 'Como te llamo, como te llamo.' I was like, 'Do you notice these people are running from ICE? You asking them what is your name, what is your name, over and over again?' The hell? Okay, why are they running in the house every time you call their name? All right, we done? I don't know, are we? I mean, I'm just getting started. Go ahead, keep it going. No, I'm just saying there's a lot of things that's been going on. There's a lot of things with my family. Like, my daughter, she just turned Muslim, so I forgot she turned Muslim. So I took her to the meat market. I was like, you want to go into the meat market, baby? She's like, yeah, Mom, go to the meat market. Meat market. We walked to the meat market. I was like, you want some bacon? No, Mom, I don't eat bacon. Oh, okay, okay, I forgot, I forgot. Then I'm going a little bit for— oh, you want some pork chops? You want some pork? No, Mama. And then she got to pull me to the side. Mom, I don't eat pork. I don't eat pork. Will you stop asking me? It's like I gotta learn all these new Muslim rules because I got a Muslim child. I got another child that just went through a divorce. I would tell you the '50s have been funky. '50s for me. Okay, Funky Fifties, I'm learning new things every day. Every day I'm learning new things. And then you got Trump driving everybody crazy. He's sitting up there, all these Trump supporters that were Hispanic, like, I want that Trump, I want that Trump, I want that Trump, the Trump for me, the Trump for me, the Trump for me, the Trump for me, the Trump for me, the Trump for me. And then now all of a sudden they walking around like this. Damn. All right, all right, we'll start with the comedy expert, Derek King, the comedian. What's going on, Derek? You've been coaching for 20 years. What did you think of Miss Chris?
You over here like, well, Tasha, because listen, it's funny. I wish that you would— you knew how to keep it rolling. Because that's, I think, what you're missing with this right here. Don't wait on us to give you the time. Run that light. Let me tell you, on this show, it's good to keep going because that's— you got some funny stuff. It's— you got some funny stuff. You got some funny stuff. Do you perform anywhere?
No, I got a, um, TikTok channel, but I do mostly like, um, government stuff that I cover, but I tried to do YouTube, but it didn't really work out because it was too many things I had to do. But, you know, I never really thought about comedy, but my family say that I'm funny, but I didn't know if they were trying to be polite. So I was like, am I really funny? So I did a survey and I got like 20-some people in my family, and like at least 15 of them said that I was a little bit job funny. So what I know about families, let me hit—
all I could do is miss, right? No, you're right. What I know about families, they some fucking liars. I'm not saying that yours is— I ain't saying that yours is lying right now because I want to see something else from you. I actually like you, Miss Chris. I'm gonna say yes. We gotta— we got some work to do. We got some work to do. I'm just gonna say yes because I, I see some potential right there. Yes for me. That's, uh, that's—
I'm gonna leave right there.
All right, Sean, I would agree. I think that she definitely has potential. When Derek said that you need to to keep going instead of like pausing in between. Yeah, don't do like him. You want to be a good comedian, you know, but you don't want to stop. Other than that, I think that you were a delight. I really did enjoy you. At first I was kind of like apprehensive, but then once you started going, I'm just like, oh, she— you do got it, you do. I think nerves, and when I get hold of you, so we can see through that stuff. But I think that you— if you kept going with This could be something if you kept going.
Okay, so wait, yes or no?
Yes. Tasha, spin that chair around for me one more time. Just one more time for me, please. For me, just spin that shit. That's for you, Sean. Thank you, Tasha. That's for Sean's funky ass. Thank you, Tasha.
Can you imagine drinking wine and just spinning a chair round and round and round? I'm glad that you took the advice from your family because when certain people just have the it, they just have it. Besides Miss Monica King, like you guys both have something. And yours, I was, I was a little taken aback because I thought maybe you had did stage work before because of the way the jokes were set up. You know, some of them didn't hit like they were supposed to, but you, if you keep going, people will forget about a joke that don't, if the next joke makes them funny, you know, makes them laugh. So I I liked it. I really did. I just don't think— and you know, my opinion is not— I just don't think you're ready for a bigger stage. You know, I said, so it's gonna be a no for me. But luckily for you, we just need 2 against 1. And so maybe my words will be words of encouragement to set your jokes up. That one joke about the como te amo, you know, we can relate to that. Political jokes are always funny. The last joke you, you did about them, you know, Latinas for Trump. And then next thing you know, they're like this now. I didn't like the pork joke. I kind of knew where that was going to go. You always want to surprise, you know, the crowd with the punchline. So like when you said your daughter was Muslim, I feel like there's more that you can extract from that, you know what I'm saying? So because I'm telling you, there's a lot of jokes you could do on Muslims. I got one right now. Okay, yeah, I'll feed him pork and he won't give it back to me. Yeah, I got you, I got you. So, but, um, it's gonna be a no for me, but you will go through to the next round because it's 2 against 1. But just, you know, take it as words of encouragement. But I do think you have, um, you do have the it. It's just a matter of perfecting it every day. Absolutely. Okay, don't hang up. Up. We'll see you at the end, okay, for the final vote off. All right, cool, let's go. All righty, y'all got— I swear to God, I'm gonna hire a therapist for you bitches, and then I'm gonna— we're gonna actually do the conversation between Derek and Sean Davyway, and y'all are gonna have a dramatic ass— I'm gonna get Ray J to produce it, the conversation.
We don't need that shit. Sean just need me to whoop his ass one goddamn time, and that'll be the end of There's a lot of things that you're gonna do in life unlike hang that chain.
Have you seen how tall Sean is? He has a six-pack, Derek. You don't.
What the fuck do that mean? I got 6 bullets. That means that I'm gonna kick your fucking ass.
All right, who's next, y'all? Who's next? Joy and Rain. Come on. Sunshine, come on, and rain. Hey Joy, you know that song? Joy, you know that song? No, sorry. Oh, I love it. Where are you calling from, Joy? I'm from New York. Okay, shout out to New York City. All right, how's the weather out there right now? Oh my God, we're dying from heat. The heat wave is here. Oh, I'm so sorry. We have a heat wave I'm in South Florida, so we have the heat wave every day. Yeah, okay. So what are you going to be performing today? Oh, I'm going to be singing Angels Brought Me Here by Guy Sebastian. Got it. All right, y'all ready? Sean, Derek, Joy, come on, Henry, let's go, let's go! My dreams came true when I found you, my miracle. If you could see what I see, you're the answer to my prayers. Oh, and if you could feel the tenderness —would know. It would be clear that angels were on me here. Yes, yes, Joy! Yes! I'm sorry, child. I was— you supposed to let— I mean, uh, D, I was supposed to let you vote. It was the high note for me.
I didn't want to stop The time been up.
I didn't want to stop it. Joy, I swear I'm glad Diddy didn't run into you. You know Diddy like, he like Asian women. You, you Asian? What you, the Thailand, Philippines? Where you from? Philippines. Oh yeah, I'm glad you didn't run into Diddy. Lord Jesus. Um, listen, uh, we'll start with Sean because he's looking crazy right now. Sean, what do you think of Miss Joy? Okay, hey, motherfucker, loud. What the fuck? What did he say?
Michael, whoa, Joy, like calm your throat, calm your throat, girl. But, um, yes, so I will say this, Filipino people are very talented when it comes to singing. Y'all are like treasures. I've seen a lot of Filipinos, like there was these, um, I forgot I forgot their name right now, but they're a group, a Filipino group, and I followed them and they were incredible. So y'all are very like so much hidden treasures. Um, overall I think that you do have a voice. Song isn't necessarily like a familiar song, but I, I have like heard snippets, um, of it. But so I would say yes based off of you can sing, so I'm not gonna be a hater because I don't necessarily recognize the song, but I will say You can sing, so I'm gonna say yes because you do have vocal talent.
Here's that joke, bitch. Did you have to do all of that, Derek? Come on.
Yeah, because Joy, I don't know what the fuck Sean talking about. Like, let me tell you something. When you first came on here, Joe, I'm gonna be very honest with you. You look like them Hispanics that don't be knowing English and they like, hey, what you said? I was like, Tasha was sitting there talking to you, you was like, I don't— hey, Jordan, I was like, this shit don't know what we talking about. And then when you started singing, I was like, this shit know what she talking about. Joy, let me— this is as— this is as nice as I can put what I want to say. Yeah, damn, girl, you can sing. Thank you. You are fabulous. Thank you. F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S. Fabulous. You are wonderful. Yes, I did. But you look, you look like you don't understand shit we talking about, but your ass, you can sing. Got you looking confused as a motherfucker.
Yes or no, nigga? Oh yes.
Shit. The answer is yes. Do Joy understand that?
Yeah, I get it. Damn. So you got 2 yeses. That means you're moving to the round. Um, it's a definite hell yes for me. I'm gonna be honest with you. I think that your superpower is the fact that people will prejudge you coming on stage. You know what I'm saying? But like, when you open your mouth, it's like you shut them down. And I think that's what makes a special type of person, because it's like you really shut other people the fuck up. And so I was not expecting that. Your, your performance was definitely— you perform before I Take It? You're a performer? Yes, ma'am. All right. And, you know, try to get you some— you got any favorite R&B singers? You look like you could be Brian McKnight wife. You look just like her. Yeah, I always get that, huh? I got that one time. Someone told me about that too. I know what that lady looked like. Try to get, um, try to get some more, you know, mix a little bit of your favorite singers maybe with some R&B soul. Joy, I think you'll be in a sweet spot to shut a lot of fuckers down, okay? I'm just letting you know, all right? All right. And, you know, the winos will vote. So you'll find out next episode 6 whether or not you won, and our producers will be in contact with you so that we can get you into the, to the final finale to perform your song in front of a live audience, and they'll be voting. All right. Thank you so much. Nice to meet you all. Thank you. Wow, I really thought that was Brian McKnight wife they had loaded up.
I ain't think she understood shit you was talking about. She's clearly Asian descent.
She looked Filipino. I didn't know if she was Filipino or Thai. I was trying to figure out which one.
No, you were correct when you said— when you guessed the G. I'm talking about him. He says the woman looked like a Hispanic because they be looking like they confused.
I've spent a lot of time in Mexico and people be thinking Mexicans look like the Mayans all the time. That's just one tribe. Of people. You will see some women, you wouldn't even think that they were Mexican. Like, I mean, they, they look like a mix of— what's the, what's the girl name from the movie Honey? Alba. They look like— that's how most Mexicans look.
It's like her. She only never been nowhere.
No, you ain't never been nowhere. You said that. Sean didn't say that. You said—
I know exactly what I said. What I didn't say, she looked just Hispanic. She looked like them whenever they be confused. The Hispanics look confused. Try to ask them for directions.
Can you tell me how to get over here? It has very prejudiced. Uh, moving on, who's next? Jasmine. Kia, how you doing? Kia, where you calling from? Hi, give me just one second to set myself up all the way. I'm, I'm basically ready. So, hi, Kia, the Traveling Food Chronicles. So do you travel and do food reviews? I do, I do, yes. Okay, all over the country and soon the world. Where are you from? I'm sorry, where are you located now? Where are you located now? Um, well, I was born and raised in Vegas, but my boyfriend and I have a smoke shop in Long Beach, California, which is where I'm at right now. So y'all got some good weed. California is known for that. Yeah, I'll have good weed. Do I need to see you after the show? We'll talk, we'll talk. Okay. All right, what are you gonna be doing today? I am gonna be singing. Okay. And the song is, um, What Is It About Men by Amy Winehouse. White House. Oh shit, okay, Amy White House. Now that's a hell of a song. All right, you ready? The floor is yours. Um, yes, I will preface it by saying that, um, I am a little congested. I don't know if you can hear it in my voice, but I will do my very best, so bear with me. And if I do make it through, I can guarantee the next time you hear me, it's not gonna sound like this. It's gonna sound a little better. But, um, all right, um, just go whenever. Okay. Understand, once he was a family man, so surely I would never ever go through it firsthand. And you laid all the shit my mother hates I can't help it, I must shed my Freudian fears. Hold on, I'm gonna stop you. I want you to either turn your volume down just a smidge because it's distorting you, and you have a really nice voice. So thank you. Yeah, is that better? Oh yeah, that's okay. Hit a note real quick, just hit a like a Hit a note. Turn it down just a little bit more. Just a little bit more. Okay, is that better? Do the la la la again. She needs to turn it down a smidge more. Is your headphones a microphone? Um, yes. I don't, I don't know if I, um, probably why it's so close. Okay, hold it and sing. Is that better? Better. Okay, okay. Um, do you want me to start where I left off or just start from the top? Start from the beginning. Okay, okay. All right. Okay, sorry. Understand once he was a family man, so surely I would never ever go through it firsthand. Emulate all the shit my mother hate, I can't help but demonstrate my Freudian My alibi for taking your guy. History repeats itself. It fails to die. And anymore, aggression is my downfall. I don't care about what you got. I want it all because it's bricked up in my head, shoved under my bed, and I question myself again. What is— oh, sorry, you good, you good, you good, you good. Okay, I, I put it very low so I can very barely hear you guys, but, um, I think we got the gist of you your voice. I'm going to start with Sean first. Sean, go ahead. Kia.
What type of music do you sing like normally? Like when you just feel like listening to music, what do you go to? What's your go-to?
Honestly, that's really hard to say. I'd probably say I lean more towards like old school R&B and hip-hop as my main go-to. That's just been forever. But for the most part, like on a day-to-day, I'm a mood listener. Sometimes I'm in the mood for like classic rock, other times I'm in the mood for like hip-hop, other times I'm in the mood for like smooth jazz. It just depends, you know? Oh, okay.
Because you have a very sultry voice, and at first I didn't like you at all. I was just like, gross. But then like as you went on a little bit further, when I got to hear like a little bit depth of your voice, you can actually sing. Thank you. You do. You can— you— I can hear the congestion, but you're singing thinking through it, and that just makes the best singers, ones that can actually, you know. So overall, I would say yes, because— but I do want to hear you sing something different. So if you do come back, um, like you said, you listen to like old school R&B and stuff like that, try one of those songs, one that's not too hard on your voice. But, um, yeah, I liked you, so I'll say yes.
Thank you. All right, all right, all right. Derek King, I saw you put on your headphones at the beginning, motherfucker. That's because I'ma just say that because her mic was messed up, but I luckily I listened to her and saw that she could fucking sing. So then you didn't put your headphones on on the second round. So why you ain't put— why you put the headphones on the first round, not the second round? Hey, nasty. Why?
There is a North Pole and a South Pole. Okay, Sean says he wants to hear more from her and I don't want to hear shit else. Let me tell you you. I— hey, listen here. No, no, no, I'm just being honest. I, I, I don't— I didn't— I didn't— I didn't know if it was the headphones. I actually— man, now, because it's gonna get— it's gonna— it's not even gonna be nice. The answer is for me is no, Kia. I don't know, maybe you can sing. It just— it's not the type of singer that I like. And hey, and I ain't shit, so I'm just saying no. But I want to hear—
no, I appreciate it.
I want to hear a food review. That's what I want.
Okay, I mean, follow me on Instagram, man. I got you. Oh, sure. Okay, uh, Kia, I'm glad that I told you to, to fix your, your microphone. And, um, your voice is— first of all, you have a voice range that's really hard to hit, and it's in the, the Braxton— like, if you were to sing a Toni Braxton song or maybe a Tamar Braxton song song, you would, you would fucking nail it. Like, that's your voice range to me. Like, you are— I don't know, what is that, an alto, uh, Sean? Alto as well as baritone? Yeah, baritone mix. Yeah. Do you listen to Toni Braxton? Do you listen to Tamar Braxton? My brother does. He showed me a couple songs. Yeah, yeah. Uh, especially like Love and War, or even in— that's Toni Braxton. Like, I was just hearing you, it Yeah, yeah, you got it. Like, Unbreak My Heart. If you were to— if you— I don't know how fast you can learn it, but if you can learn it, I can hear Unbreak My Heart, say you love me again. Like, I think you could hit— like, I could never go that deep, but you could. You see what I'm saying? So, um, That's your— to me, that's your voice range. Um, it's gonna be a yes for me. Um, I'm gonna send you through, um, and let the Winos just take it from there. Okay, you got some competition now, but if you don't make it through, please come back on a further episode with a better song, and hopefully you're not as congested. But like, you got— you definitely got a— you definitely got a voice. Thank you. Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that very much, especially coming from someone who has like like their own, like, really beautiful voice. I've, I've never met you before, but like, just hearing you sing on the other contestants, like, you already made it through.
You ain't got to lie.
What's wrong? I wouldn't, man. Not about singing. And when you come back, try it without the headphones towards the end because you're gonna have to re-perform again, okay? So just stay backstage, try to get your sound together without using the headphones uh, so that we can really hear the range of your voice. Okay, so just hold backstage. All right. Okay, thank you. Okay.
That girl say especially from you with your own beautiful voice.
Girl, you get the fuck out of here.
Latasha, nigga, let's keep it a— no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you don't have to prove it.
What song should I sing? None. No, don't do me like that. I can carry a tune. Hey, that girl, listen, what's my favorite Whitney song? Hold on. Huh? Yes, I can say with somebody. Damn, I want to feel the heat with somebody. Yeah, I want to dance with somebody. Don't you play with me, nigga. Somebody who loves me. Hey, fuck you, Derek. Who's that? I got confidence. Yeah, and so did she.
Now karaoke bars, nigga. Hey, hey, Tasha, she said—
that's why I said Toni Braxton.
Unbreak My Heart. Hey, when you said it, I went, okay, maybe that's it. But this Amy Winehouse shit, listen, she died and her music died with her. Amy was an addict, so she was always congested anyway. And there we had There we have it, Sean.
But Amy Winehouse was that bitch though, for real. Like, it was— she was just drunk all the time. All right, who next? Martha. Martha Jasmine. How you doing, Martha? Hey, what's good? It's all good over here. I'm from Jersey. Jersey. Okay, shout out to Jersey. So what you gonna be doing today, Miss Murtha? I'm gonna do some comedy for you guys real quick. You guys are funny, that's all I have to say. That's all I gotta say. I'm sorry, I know. All right, you ready? Are you about to find out? Let's go. So we all know that dating is at an all-time crisis, and I'm exclusive with online data.
However, I stumbled upon this guy from Chicago, 6'3", tall, nice teeth, dark skin, no kids. The nigga was straight lace. We FaceTimed, we talked, we texted, we did all that until one day he sent me a video of him in the gym. I was a little impressed because he was getting his workout on and everything. However, that shit had a mushroom butt.
I don't do mushroom butts. His butt was so big. I said he lied. You know why he lied?
Because he should have sent me a full video with him walking back and forth in order to get to know me.
The video, the FaceTime and all that shit is cool, but when you got a mushroom butt and you don't let people know how big your butt is and you sending them a video when you think it's okay. It's not okay.
I'm a Jersey girl, I don't give a fuck. You can't handle but mushroom butt.
I'm 5'10", flat-footed, 165 pounds soaking wet.
Your butt cannot be bigger than mine.
So I did a block and delete.
And let me tell you about this other joker.
Now we're gonna call him 9 Keys from Maryland.
Beautiful job, nice teeth, dark skin, 6'2", got his shit together, HVAC. I'm loving this dude. I'm getting to know him.
But you know what I failed to ask? How many kids you have? And then I stumbled back to the question, how many children do you have?
He said 9. I said, you bullshitting, right?
He was like, nah, why would I lie about that? You know, niggas don't be lying about their kids. Kids. How old is the youngest one? 5 years old. They twins, nigga.
I got 2 kids, that's 11.
I don't feel like remembering all them people names when it's time to get together. I don't feel like it.
So I did a block and delete and delete. All right, all right, all right.
Thank you, Miss Myrtle. All right, comedy coach Derek King, what What's going on?
Hey, Martha, here's the thing. I think over the other two, you have more experience. I think, you know what I mean? It feels like you— this is not your first time performing. Um, it just feels like that. It feels like you have such confidence. You give off the whole Jersey tri-state area. That's what you— you give that whole tri-state thing. Um, I thought you were funny. Um, Thank you. I'm gonna say— does he— what now? My shirt. Let me, let me pray on it. Let me, let me tell you something, Myrtle. Hey, hey, listen, Myrtha, they told me I couldn't look at nobody else's chest on this show, so I didn't look. And so I ain't looking nowhere. Um, but I'm not gonna have to pray on it. I'm gonna say yes. I don't know, man. Listen, I, I just like you. Um, we do got some work to do, but I just— I like your confidence. Best, and I like where you're going.
So yes. Okay, all right, cool. Miss Myrtle, you got one vote. Sean, what'd you think of Miss Myrtle? I'm so sorry, I was just thinking of Myrtle Beach. I was— it was—
yeah, um, like your name. You definitely look like your name. So I was pleasantly surprised by that. I'm just like, I heard the name Murph. And then you popped off your mouth that it gives. It gives Mertha. It absolutely does. So I liked you. I appreciate all of these comedians coming through because we really haven't had many people come through the competition. I don't think a comedian has won yet, um, thus far. So I'm hopeful to see one win, and your confidence will make me want to put my money on you. I would say speed up— speed it up a little bit, like when it comes to getting to your punchlines and whatnot, because you want to lose your audience. And again, one bad joke, the next joke could be great. So it's like the recovery is the— what I think that you could work on a little bit, just making sure that you recover along the process. But I think overall that you were good. I, I do. And this is a competition to where people get to go on tour, so I'm going to say yes because you got 2.
Damn. All right, you got 2. Okay. All right, great. All right, so Miss thoughts. My turn, even though it really doesn't matter what I say. So it's just because you already made it through. Um, I know that you are a professional, okay? Um, I just felt like you were taking too long to get to the point. Okay. Yeah, so I kind of want you to speed it up just a little bit because the second joke I kind of checked out a little bit because it took you so long to explain it. And so if just critiquing, just kind of speed it up because you you, you want to always pace. And if you look at other comedians, when you watch them, look at their heart, like, kind of their pacing to see. Because, um, I got ADHD real bad, and if you don't catch me as a viewer and I'm out, I'm going to get a drink at the bar. Okay. I'll be like, yeah, this is the segment where I go get a drink, use the bathroom, come back, you know what I'm saying? I don't want to do that even though what you're saying is funny. Thank you. Okay, especially with the mushroom butt. And I've seen them dudes with them big asses, and I'm like, that's why he's 6'3" and single. That's all I can think about was like, that's why that nigga said 3 is single. Like, what's wrong with him, nigga? So, but, um, it's, it's gonna be a no for me, but you still get to go through and the winos get to take you there. Okay, so we'll see you backstage and then, you know, keep working on it, the speed of the jokes, you know what I'm saying? It's just an audience member like me, I'm like, it take a lot to keep me focused. So, okay, all right, so we'll see you at the end of the show, uh, for the shoot your shot shut off, and the viewers will be voting. Okay? Yes. All right, all right, let's go.
Sean, you ain't shit.
Fuck y'all lying, y'all both was lying. Oh, we lying now? It was the pacing of the joke. It took too long. I almost fell asleep.
The second one, okay, I get it.
The first one, I would say okay, I get it, but the second me back in because I was like, nigga had a mushroom boot and all I could think about was some Instagram influencers.
Like, what's this? That's why.
What's Ashton's name? That big nigga that can't run, he's slow.
Hilarious. The football player Ashton. I know who you're talking about.
He ain't no football player.
He used to play, he played the Alcorn State or something like that.
You know what I'm talking about? He be using the banana peels and shit and I Show Speed fucking beat him and Oh, let me tell you why I said yes, Sasha.
It was literally when she described— it was so descriptive. She wanted— and I saw where she was going with it. Let me show you how beautiful he is, but then they got a mushroom butt. That's what she was doing. And I was like, all right, it took too long, but I felt what she was— I felt what she was doing. With a little training, that child would be all right. She's gonna be fine.
I know that, but it's like, I just— I didn't want to lie to her now.
Well, why the fuck would you let me and Sean agree twice tonight? That's bullshit.
I said both of y'all was fucking lying, but it's fine. Who's next? Prince. How you doing, Prince? Reese. Hi, Prince.
Oh, hello. Can you see me? What? I don't know about my camera.
Jeffrey Dahmer in that room. Is that nigga in jail? Hey, Prince.
How you doing? How you doing?
Can you hear me? Uh, yeah, I can hear you. Where are you calling from?
I'm calling from Las Vegas.
Shout out to Vegas! Ain't no sun outside today.
It's hot as hell outside today, every day.
Okay, all right, cool. Uh, what you gonna be doing today?
I'm gonna sing a cover to Monica. Okay, which song? Um, Angel of Mine.
Okay, all right, go ahead. Uh, the floor is yours.
Monica, Angel of Is that a baby? Yeah, that's my baby's just got out the bathtub.
Oh, okay.
Hold on, I forgot how we start off. One second. I'm gonna turn it off. I had to remember how to start off. Okay, it's okay.
When I first saw you, I already knew there was something inside of you, something I thought that I would never find. Ain't you mine? I look at you Looking at me now, I know why they say the best things are free. Gonna love you cause you are so fine. Ain't no shame. All right, okay, all right, Prince Reese. Okay, all right, we're gonna start with Sean since he looking the craziest right now. Sean, what'd you think of Mr. Prince Reese?
Interesting song choice, I will have to say. I hated it, but the vocals are good. In between some of the notes and whatnot, you were making the song your own, so I can appreciate that for the performance quality. And you do have a confidence. So I, I do like that, but that song overall, I hated it. Um, but the vocals, because that's what I listen to, is here if you can actually sing, and you can. So with that being said, as much as I really— because I really don't want to let you through, but I'm going to say yes due to you can sing. So I'm gonna say yes, Tasha.
Okay, all right, cool.
Uh, Derek King, and let me tell you something, hey Prince, Here's, here's the thing. I'm not even hating on you. I just want to hate on Sean. I want to tell you no, it ain't got shit to do with you singing. It's got to do with the fact that I don't think you got no frame for that bed. That's what it's got to do with. I feel like that bed is an air mattress, and it might not be. That's just how I feel, brother. The baby done got out the tub. The baby back there with your background vocals. You and your child, y'all doing a duet. You just the first duet we had on here, but the baby was a nice touch to it, Prince. So even though I, I want to hate on you, brother, I gotta say yeah, because you can fucking sing. I don't want to say yeah, but you can sing, so yes.
All right, cool. All right, so you got two. Um, I was pleasantly surprised too at your song choice. I was like That's a hard— Monica is very hard to sing because sometimes I feel like Monica can't sing herself. So, you know, I feel like it was like somebody she knew. And it was like when opportunity meets preparation, she got an opportunity. And you definitely slayed her song better than she sings it. Okay. And I've heard her on stage when Nicki took her on tour last year. I was like, Nicki, why did you do that? And you notice Nikki inserted her in the middle of the show. She didn't let her open it up because that shit would have fell flat. So she used her during the bathroom time when people got to use the bathroom and they want to go get snacks and stuff and reset for the second half of the show. But she did not take that bitch to the fucking—
Hey, you know, you know her, Monica and, uh, Brandy going on tour?
Yeah, Brandy going on tour.
Yeah, with Brandy going on tour.
Oh, not Brandy going on tour.
You out of pocket.
They got what, one, maybe two songs together?
I think it's called The Boyz II Men Tour or something like that. Is that what it's called?
Lord Jesus, just heard that today. Brandy gonna that tour, but Brandy still sound the exact same from when she started singing back in Moesha days. The girl can say Monica on the other hand, and she I look at her looking at me. All right, so the answer is going to be yes because you can't see, and I like that you had the baby in the background. I like all that shit. That was funny. Okay, Prince, like he talking to the baby right now. So I love it, I love it. Um, nice touch, and we'll see you at the end of the show. Don't go nowhere, okay? Thank you. You gotta re-perform again, no problem. All righty, so who we got?
You ever seen that, uh, TV show on HBO called Oz? Yeah, that's—
he do look like the dude in the wheelchair. That's right, that's exactly who the fuck he look like. Yeah, yeah. Why you be looking like—
because Derek is so annoying. Oh, I know it.
Tony, Tony, Tony, where you calling from, Tony? Hollywood, California. Shout out to Hollywood, baby! I love it. So what you gonna be doing today, Tony? I'm gonna be doing Kiss by Prince. Okay, all right, Kiss by Prince. Go ahead, Tony, shoot your shot. You don't have to be beautiful to turn me on. I don't need your body, baby, from dusk till dawn. You don't need no experience to turn me on. You just leave it all up to me. I'm gonna show Show you what it's all about. You don't have to be rich to be my girl. You don't have to be cool to rule my world. Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with. I just want your extra time and your kiss. Yeah, yeah.
No, put your motherfucking clothes back on. You don't want to be You put your goddamn jacket back on, Tony. No, Tony, unzip it. Show them, Tony.
Show them what you got, Tony. Cut that shit out. Tony say yeah. Hollywood. That's right, baby. Yes, boo. Okay, we gonna start with you, Derek. What you think of Mr. Tony? Tony, Tony, Tony. Hey man, I ain't gonna even lie to you, dog.
I thought that was Ron Jeremy from the pornos. That's who I thought that was. I said, I said Ron Jeremy is singing now. Yeah.
Um, listen.
Listen, uh, I love the confidence. Uh, you even wore a purple, uh, uh, warm-up jacket to commemorate Prince. But man, let me tell you something, I think— listen, that right there just made me not be mean. Boy, hell yeah! Fuck yeah! I was gonna tell you no, but when you did this shit here, you changed my goddamn mind. Yes! Yes! Now leave your jacket zipped the fuck up, but yes.
Shine, shine. He said yes.
I'm a pony, I'm a pony. So, um, yes, Tony, you were a blast. Your name should be Tony Blast. Yes, you were. Yes, absolutely. Happy LGBTQ Month barbecue to you and, uh, hell no.
No, Tony didn't acknowledge the LGBTQ. I don't think he—
yes, he did. You don't think he—
I know my kind.
Gay? If you want to know, I know my kind.
West Hollywood. Okay, okay, so right, so period. Happy Pride Month! I can't lift my leg that high anymore. Okay, okay, cool. Uh, Sean, so what was your critique? Absolutely not. I—
all right, so, uh, why?
Why? What? Why is it— what, what do you mean why?
I see nothing to say yes to. I'm saying no to the confidence, I'm saying no to the song, I'm saying no to the jacket, I'm saying no, I'm saying no to everything. But he was the blind He was a lot of fun. He was.
Okay, all right, cool. All right, so it's my turn. Fuck him, Tony. Okay, um, I thought you were a blast. You would definitely give me like— you were giving me Pauly Shore a little bit and the workout guy. What's the workout guy name? Richard Simmons. I saw all of that. I know there's something somewhere for me in this stupid town. Yes, I love the song choice. Have you ever tried comedy?
Yeah, no, actually I haven't. I'm not that confident.
Okay, okay, it's gonna be a yes for me, Tony. Fuck Sean. I was like, I wanna be rich to be a girl. Yes! Okay, we'll see you at the end of the show, Tony. Okay, we're watching. The white girls are gonna have to vote for you. All righty, let's go, let's go!
I said yes over here, bullshit. You gonna take your black ass home.
You ain't shit. That's what you get. I liked him, it was fun.
When this nigga did this, hey, just Sean say happy LGB, you was like, he didn't say that. Yes, the fuck he did. As soon as he got on here, he said it.
He said, I'm bisexual.
And, and he's telling women bye to the sex and telling me that's about sexual— bisexual hello. Bisexual hello is what that word— women.
Bye to all the women.
No, I'm about to say no babies.
King Daddy Puss say he ain't, he ain't gay no more. He said he only like pussy only now. Who is that?
Gay as hell. Episode? Nah, nah, I seen that nigga's shirt. That nigga damn sure gay. I don't know what—
he straight now. He said he tasted pussy, he ain't going back to asshole. That's exactly what he said. He said, why ain't nobody tell him about pussy?
You know how people, uh, squeeze lemon juice on they, on they fish? That's what he gonna do to ass now. He just squeeze a little coochie juice on it, just a little coochie juice on it. He back over that. The boy ain't leaving shit. He ain't going no damn way.
Well, I heard asshole ain't got no grip, you know. What? It ain't got no grip, Sean. The pussy got the grip.
Hey, you know what, we, we did enough right there. Next person. Goddamn.
Look, we adults here. We adults, right?
Just a little ass, just a little ass. Next person.
Who's next? Just Sunny. How you doing, Sunny? Where Sunny, you good? I'm good, I'm good.
Hey, y'all had me laughing, y'all had me cracking up back here, man.
I'm coming from, uh, South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. All right, shout out to Charleston. What you gonna be doing today? I'm gonna do a little comedy. All right, let's go, son. Yeah, I want to talk a little bit. Oh yeah, okay.
Well, excuse me, I put my glasses on.
What's up, y'all? How y'all doing tonight? Now everybody good? Everybody good? All right, all right.
Why God play so much, y'all? Why do God place so much—
why he made white people's boogies so flat?
Why?
Like, for real, why did he create it? The white person's boogie so flat. Now I was out here just minding my business, reading the word, you know, drinking some hot tea and eating some hot Cheetos. The thought just popped in my mind. I was like, is this— is this— is God trying to tell me something? Is God trying to tell me something? So I go on and I say, well, this is a new form of meditation. So I sit back and, and, um, yeah, I sit back and Yeah, yeah, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, because I, I just told my— I need to feel it, I need to feel it. Yeah, they boogie, they boogie so fast when they bend over, they look like the side of a wooden table. It's just a vibe, it's just a vibe. I feel bad for them, man. Sit down, take a long time, man. All they got is, all they got is a leg and back. And I can't trip because I got what I call flat black ass.
Okay, my back— you didn't hear me? Oh, oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I thought you heard me.
Shit, I mean, you said it kind of low. I need you to blow it and let me know. You didn't hear me? All right, comedy coach.
Hey, listen, what's up there? Were you smoking? Were you smoking before? That's why you was I feel like you were smoking and then you brought your ass over here. So look, so here's the thing, Sonny. When you start off with a shocking statement like, God— what was the statement?
God, uh, why God made— why people boogie so flat.
Yeah, but no, no, your statement was like, why God be tripping. To make a statement like— to make a statement like that, you got to come in so damn funny that you made me forget it that I was a religious person. You've got to make— you got to— you— because you can't say it and then the joke land flat like them white people's asses. Yeah, I'm saying, okay, y'all got to have some substance to that shit. It landed flat just like the white people's asses. Not that you don't have a point, but it's— this sounds like— this sounds like weed smoke talk to me. Sounds like somebody that's high that had a high-ass thought. Now that's just what it sounds like. I'm not— you know, it may not have I understand. Um, I, I think you should go to some comedy clubs. You seem like you are ready for an open mic night. Not ready for what we do right now, but I think you should go around. Have you, have you ever performed at open mic night, Sunny T? No, I was actually looking forward to doing that, but trying to find ways to do it. Yeah, I need to go get around other comedians. You'll find your group, right? I'm just saying no right now. Just, I don't think you're ready yet. That, but I say go to some open mic nights, get around your group.
That's what I say. Okay. Yeah, because I was feeling the vibe, so I needed to feel it. And I'm trying. This time I wrote out, wrote out, um, a few months ago.
But yeah, I just was trying to see if nothing wrong with that. Try to try that open mic night. Okay.
All right, give it to me, Sean. I can't give it to Where you from? The Bahamas? Who, me? Yeah. Oh no, I'm from, I'm from, uh, Charleston, South Carolina. Geechee.
Oh, no, that's just the Geechee she hearing. The Geechee gives off island, kinda. That's what you're hearing, Tasha.
Yeah, I'm from Geech Town too, but I don't sound like I'm from the island.
I got, I got some island in my blood though.
All right, that's the country too. You gotta be Bahamian or Haitian. That's hog mouth you hear. I mean, shit, my grandparents did have a pig farm, but damn it. Yeah, you need to audition for some southern movies. You got that. I don't eat no damn pork though. Damn, I ain't heard that, man. My mama would probably be like, shit, you, you got that. I remember her, my aunt, and my two aunts, if they didn't— because, you know, we used to hear everything and listen to them as kids, but then they can switch their voices to sound like you and a little deeper, and they will have a conversation amongst each other. And me and my sisters couldn't figure out what the fuck they were saying. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's, that's, that's right there. Yeah, it was good. That's what they called it, geeks too. So all right, Sean, give it to me.
Okay. Um, and the reason why I would state that is it's due to lack of confidence. Okay. While you were doing your set, there was no confidence. Like, you could tell like you were— you were already like giving me like, I'm like, you know, like giving up before you even get to, you know, where you're trying to get to. So I would definitely say have more confidence, because even a confident person can be funny, you know, even just being confident enough to keep you on that stage. So start— I would definitely start with that. And then punchline— there, there was no punchline. Definitely want that for the that we know when the joke is ending and going into the next. Like, they kept merging, and I'm just like, what is going on? So I would say keep trying, go back to the drawing board. And I would say stop writing for a while, you know, just kind of freestyle for a little bit and see how that goes. And, you know, the freestyle don't work for you, then go back to writing. But some people are writers and recorders, and some people just get up there and just, you just hit it and just nail LA. So writing, don't write for a while. It's a no. Okay, cool.
Uh, um, um, Sunny, um, yeah, you definitely need a lot of practice. Um, uh, I could see something there, I just can't see it right now. Um, and it was a, you know, looking down at the paper and stuff like that, but You don't have anything because you actually— I think Southern, and you know, Derek could probably get upset with me, but I like Southern comedians better than, you know, Northern comedians or LA comedians. I just feel like they're just too proper. You know what I'm saying? And I feel like Southern comedians, like, we don't get enough. Bernie Mac. That's the truth. You know, when you hear it, like, he would, you know, use his Southern voice the entire set. And he was international and people laughed at that shit. I don't give a fuck about you, motherfucker. And I loved it. Like, you gotta bring that into what you're doing. One of my favorites. So yeah, yes, yes. And he was himself. Goddamn, fuck you, son of a bitch, motherfucker. Suck my dick. You know what I'm saying? Like, and that's how uncles would talk, that's how aunties would talk. So I feel like you need to kind of gather who you are you are and present you and your experiences to the stage and what you see. And it'll be funny right off bat because one, your voice is funny. Two, you definitely have the look. Um, but I'm gonna have to agree with Sean and say lack of confidence right now. Okay, cool. Coming through with more confidence than you. Who? Tony Blasts. Yeah, thank you. All right, we'll see you next time. Okay. All right, don't get up. All right, ding ding ding ding ding! So we are getting ready to, uh, have a sing-off, uh, comedy-off, or performance-off, or shoot your shot.
2? Yeah, cuz we had more comedians.
7. Ain't no way we chose 7 people. Chose 7. I told you 4. Chose 7. How many people performed? Only 10. They say we chose 7. 11 people. They show— they say we chose 7. I don't, I don't see it, but so we got to make some eliminations right down.
It's gonna be a comedian got to go. Tony, bye. Um, hey, Sean, Sean, I'm in agreement with your ass there. I'm in agreement. Tony, bye. Hey, when you're right, you're right.
We'll make one more elimination, okay? And then we'll let the winos take it home, and we'll announce the, uh, winner during episode 6, okay?
The cold part is I think one of my comedians should go because I think we had too many and I know that they're not going to go through.
I know you want to set the finale up when they come in person with— we either have 2 comedians that compete against each other, as many singers as we choose, and maybe a couple poets. And that way we'll have 3 categories because I could see a comedian getting the stage, I could see a poet getting the stage, and then I could see a singer getting the stage, either a singer or a rapper. I feel that. Yeah, so we're gonna, we're gonna set it up that way. So, um, right now we got to make a tough decision. Who are we— so who, who are the people, um, that we sent through? Bring Sabrina back up. We're gonna say yes or no to Sabrina. Hi, Sabrina! Hi! Hey! Okay. Sabrina's a yes for me. Yes. Okay, Sean? No. We gonna talk. We're gonna have to talk. Okay, you're safe, Sabrina, for now. Okay. All right, no problem. Hold backstage. Okay, who's next? We gotta have 4, so we gotta make our eliminations right now. Um, Miss Chris. Okay, uh, Miss Chris was funny. Um, but if I had to go for a second vote, I would say no for now. Sean, I would say yes. I would say no for now. Okay, Miss Chris, uh, so right now you're not gonna move on to the final finale. We have to choose 4. However, will you please come back on another episode? And we have like a few more episodes to go, and brush up on your material a little bit and take it home. Because like I said, I'm gonna have a finale for a comedy segment. Absolutely. But I gotta show you guys this before I go. I was making a mold during the break of what my vagina looks like, and I thought that's what the fuck that was.
Hey, if you don't get that quiz nose meat out of him, get that meaty ass thing out of him.
I mean, everybody, 50+ women know it change dangerous. So that's why you need to go see Jada Pinkett's doctor. She said it made it look like a 60-year-old pussy. I said, now why did Jada say that? How you know? Thank you so much for the opportunity. I appreciate it. Thank you. We'll see you back, okay? Because you definitely got it. Okay, cool. Don't leave though. Don't leave, Miss Chris. All right, so who's the next? All right, boy, whoever next, please don't show us your Joy is a definite hell yes for me. I'm sorry, Joy's staying. Joy's staying. Okay, all right, Joy, you're safe. You're safe. Hold backstage. Okay, don't go nowhere. So you get to go on to compete. All right, who's next? Kia. How you doing, Kia the Foodie? Yes, how are you guys? Fantastic, Kia. Okay, I'm gonna say no this round because I want to see you come back and nail another song. Song. I said yes earlier because you can't fucking sing. You have a phenomenal voice, but I feel like you need a better song. Okay, so I'm gonna say no this round. All right, to move on to compete, uh, for the $300 and a chance to go on a tour with us. But if you could just hit our producer so you could come back and try again, um, during another episode, is that okay for me? Sounds good.
All right, but Sean and Derek have the final say, so Sean, I think it would be fair if she came back because she is congested and whatnot. So, but I would love to hear from her again. But who we have else, like the other people that we have, I would have to say no for right now.
Okay, great.
Derek? No, I'll see you later, babe.
All right, thank you so much, guys. You know what, do this right quick to Derek. No, no, no, to each their own, man.
We'll do it, don't worry, we got you.
Fuck you, Derek. Thank you. All right, who's next? Is it Murtha? How you doing, Murtha? Hi. Hello. Hey, for me— are you in an elevator? I am. I'm leaving. I'm leaving, going home. You at work? Yes. I was serious. Okay. All right, Miss Murtha, for now, for this round, I'm gonna say no because I want your jokes to be a lot faster, okay? But I do want you to come back because we are going to have a comedy finale, okay? So you come back for another episode if Sean and, and Derek don't keep you. So I mean, but if they keep you, you're good. Uh, Sean, what do you think for Miss Murtha? I say no. It's no for me. Okay. Okay, all right. Uh, Derek?
I say yes, but that's what counts, so—
Okay, so we have two against one, but please come back on another episode, okay? Hit our producer. All right, thank you. Thank you, Miss Martha. All righty, okay. Uh, who's next? Prince Reese. How you doing, Prince? Hey, Prince, it say Yes for me, Prince. Sean? Yes. Okay. Derek?
Yes, put that baby to bed, yes.
Okay, hold backstage because you got to do one more competition, okay? Okay. All right, Prince. Okay, uh, who else we got? Tony Blaz? It's a yes for me. Derek? Tony? No, dog.
I'll see you later, dog, but no, dog.
Fucking hater. Sean, it's Pride Month.
It's definitely effort. Yeah, this is about as dead as Prince. Thank you, Tony. Bye.
They don't know true talent, Tony. Thank you. Exactly, baby. Okay, and who else? That's it. So we got 4, 3. Oh, we narrowed it down to 3 guys. So who we got? Sabrina, Joy, and Prince. So we nailed it down to 3 singers. I didn't even get a comedian through. I want to bring a comedian back.
If you could, which one?
The lady in the red shirt. It. Me too, with the Miss Chris.
Yeah, I would have brought her back too. Bring her back.
Hey, Miss Chris, you made it back, baby. You made it back. So we gonna let the winos do this final vote. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna have you guys perform again real quick, uh, and then the winos are gonna vote in the comment section, uh, with the voting box, because we are going to stream this live. So they're going to be watching this live. All right, so, um, just hold tight, get your material together, relax, and come back. Okay, hold that thought. All righty, so we got 4. I'll say if we had a wild card to bring back, it was definitely gonna be her. It's like, I did not want to let her go. We got like— we had to narrow it down.
That woman showed us a mold.
Yes. All right, so now we are down to the final 4. Okay, and so I think, uh, me and my co-hosts have done a great job with shifting through the talent to, uh, present talent before you guys that will perform at our finale show in person that you guys will purchase tickets to and come have a good time with and drink some wine. And Teddy's gonna be on the stage and you know what I'm saying. So will Derek and Sean, and we're gonna do our damn thing. We're trying to figure out who's gonna open this Torah for us. Okay. All right. And so now's your chance, winos, viewers, whoever's watching, whiners. We call those our haters, whiners, but they still contribute heavily to the bottom line of the show.
You like— I mean, Tony, I mean, you like my Sean hat?
All you need is a fucking, uh, that's my son Davey Way.
Hey, hold on, hold on, hold on, Tasha, I got it. I hated it, it was not giving. You're almost there. If you had a neck, you would be nailing it, man. Fatherfuck you. I'm not—
I don't get I had to grab my neck on that one. I got a goddamn neck. It's green from that fake chain. The fuck it is? It's green from that fake chain. Let me tell you, bald head ass, I know the back of your neck itching is chafing. It's got to be. You got some fucking ink, some zinc. You need some zinc on that. It damn sure ain't You know, when I see you in person, I'm gonna bring— I'm gonna bring the gold tester. That's right, it better be green, not red.
And we can sit there and watch Hotel Rwanda with Shaq so you can see his cousins.
How does Shaq catch a stray?
Nigga, because you caught one.
Not cutting the check. Keep it. He go to that bitch, lost this fucking wire.
What, what, what was all of that Hotel Rwanda shit you were saying? Shaq, he dragging your ass.
No, I'm not. It's all good. Look, why knows, I hope y'all ready to vote. Let's go ahead and bring the contestants back up here. Sabrina, are you ready, baby? Yes, ma'am. All right, let's give, give us what you got. It ain't up to us right now, it's up to the winos. Winos, remember, choose wisely. The voting box is in the comment section as well as in the description box. And in the live chat. So make sure you cast your vote wisely. The winner takes $300 and they move on to the final finale. Go ahead and go, Miss Sabrina the Great. Give it to us. I felt how flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd. I felt he found my letters and read each one. On the left. I pray that he would finish, but he just kept right on strumming my pain with his fingers, singing my life with his words, killing me softly with his song, killing me so Softly with his song, telling my whole life with his word, killing me softly. All right, Mr. Sabrina the Great, I loved it. I thought it was very sultry. Sean was up there rolling his eyes and shit. Sean, why was you rolling your eyes?
Because I And I would say this, you can see, and you're gorgeous, you are so— thank you, love. Um, you can sing, and I would prefer that over the first song, so I will say that. And you had a cute tone with it. You didn't sound like— when you sound like you, which is good because you want to turn the song into yourself. So I like that, that was cute. I know you're trying to do that, trying to make me, um, a believer of you, Sabrina.
And was Yes, and was, and I do work from home. I'm a nurse. And did— to answer your question, Derek, I think you should change your name to Sabrina the Grown-Ass Woman.
You remember Sabrina the Teenage Witch?
But I just— I heard it all childhood.
Yeah, I, I like Sabrina the Grown-Ass Woman.
I like Sabrina the Great better.
Yeah, so what?
Thank you, Sabrina. Hold back, winos, if you want to vote for Latasha Brina, please be sure to hold your vote and cast it when the vote box goes up. Okay, $300 is at stake and a chance to go on to, uh, uh, to go on tour with us, kick off our tour. All right, huh?
You know I like them nurses. My baby a nurse.
They like your nurse practitioner. Miss Chris, how you doing, Miss Chris? Good, good, good, good. So yeah, I want to get back on the subject of my daughter where I was talking about how she's Muslim and it's new for me trying to get, you know, uh, used to it, right? So it's like, this is my version of like the hijab, you know. If I were to convert to all this and do all this, this would be my version right? So I got my Louis scarf on, and I'll be wrapping this around because you can wrap it to one side or wrap it to, like, you know, long as your hair ain't showing. You can't show it on your hair. And then I will put this on, you know, just have me a little glitter because that's what I like to have. Goddammit, Miss Prince. Then you gotta let me finish it. Then after I finish doing this, I will put on my favorite song and I would dance just like the dude dance with the Prince. And then I would say, Alexa, turn Prince on. Turn Prince on. Flag on the play. Alexa, what do you say?
Alexa, play Kiss. Hey, now, Miss Chris, shut the fuck up now. Goddamn it, I don't— That's enough shit.
Alexa, play Chris. Alexa, play Kiss. I gotta show y'all my dance that I would do with my hijab. You don't have to show us that dance. If you want to vote for Miss Chris, uh, uh, vote for her in the description box as well as in the chat. That for her chance to win $300. Miss Chris, I am very disappointed, uh, in you. I thought you was— you had all this time during the show to come up with some more material. Goddamn it, Miss Chris. Well, hopefully the one— well, that's the only extra thing I came up with. Hey, come on, man. Hey, now listen, I love bacon. You eat a black Miss Chris before you— no, Alexis, stop. We should have let Tony stay. No, we shouldn't. No, I don't think so. Like, I was thinking that it's really hard for me to give up bacon, so I can't be Muslim because I love— I'll eat bacon just like this. Okay. All right, thank you, Miss Chris, for our chance to win $300 and perform at the finale for a chance to, uh, go on tour with us. Miss Chris, hold backstage. Okay, thank you. All right, all right, please Don't catch no maggots somewhere.
Wasted a whole goddamn vote. Whole person wasted. She talking about how she wrap up the hijab. I was sitting there thinking, well, wrap this shit up since you know how to wrap shit up. Wrap this up. Goddamn, we wasted— we done sat here and let you come back and you—

Yeah, you should leave your singing behind. I'm still mad at Chris. I'm not even over that shit.
Did you just say I can't sing? I challenge you to a sing-off, nigga. Let's see who can sing better. Let's see who can sing better between me and you on stage. You think I give a fuck?
Let's do it. Sing, go! One, you go on stage. You said on stage? No, because I feel like this is set up for me to get hated on right now. And I don't— look at this shit, Drake. Hell no. Hey, I— no, no, no, I keep it fair. If you can sing, I got to? No, I would not. I would damn sure—
no, I want to do this. Time, I want to leave it all behind. That's the only word I— that's the only line I know.
Okay, well, congratulations to you. Who next? Y'all hating on me, Sean, waiting to hate on my black ass. Absolutely not. You even have me look that stupid.
How you doing? Put them children to bed, Prince.

Uh, so you ready? Yeah. All right, let's go. Something's got a hold of me lately. No, I don't know myself anymore. It feels like the walls are all closing in and the devil's knocking at my door. Oh, out of my mind. How many times did I tell you I'm no good? Being alone, yes, taking a toll on me. Trying my best to keep from tearing the skin off my bones. Don't you know that I lose control? Oh, okay, I'm falling apart. Amazing. I like that song choice better. I fool with you for some reason, Prince, with your breath, because you have a lot of— like Sean was saying, it's breathy. But I think that was a perfect song choice for you. Thank you.
Thank you. Yeah, I'm sorry, Tasha. I'm sorry, Prince. This is what you want to do with your life, ain't it? Absolutely. Prince, how old are you? 33. You really want to be a singer, don't you? Absolutely. All right. Hey man, I don't know, I felt something just then. I'm sorry, Tasha. I, I don't know what that was, but it's like I see it in your face, like you want this. I'm sorry. Hey man, I hope you win. I don't know what— it ain't in my, it ain't in my, uh, control. I, I hope you win, brother.
Thank you. Thank you. All right. It was definitely amazing. Okay, Sean, what you think?
Yeah, I think that Derek's comment was just very gay, but, um, other than that, I think that Prince, you're amazing. You definitely got it. You definitely do. I think your internet, your Wi-Fi gate up on your dream. Never give up. I think your back is gay. How about that? Never give up on your dream, Prince. Okay.
There's kids in the room. What about it? He needs Prince later.
They in Vegas. Them kids done heard worse. Hell, they in Vegas.
All right, Prince, that was amazing. White Nose viewers, if you want to see Prince take home $300 $5, please vote for Prince below. We will announce the winner on our episode 6. Okay, so Prince, phenomenal performance, phenomenal performance from all of the contestants that made it through tonight. Tough, tough decisions. All of you guys are definitely extremely talented. Prince, we're gonna drop you down for just a second. And so yes, yes, yes, yes. So we got Jasmine, Sabrina the Great. We also got Joy. All right, we got Prince Reese and we got Miss Chris. Okay, those are the 4 that you're asked to vote for to see who is going to make it to the final finale. And so, um, I would advise these contestants, look, prepare for the final finale. It's going to be a fucking showdown in person. Okay, and you know My crowd, they like to drink and talk shit, so give them something to fucking sing to and get down to and sing you through, okay? Don't have Teddy come on stage with a motherfucking bottle trying to get you off the stage, bitch, okay? All right, uh, what'd y'all think of everybody tonight?
Sean, Derek, tonight was very entertaining, and I was surprised how many comedians we had.
We got a lot. Yes. I love it.
Um, I did think— I thought we had way too many comedians. I thought Joy tried too hard the second time, even though I like— I'm a big fan of Joy. Like, I'm a huge fan of Joy. I like her a lot. Um, but I thought tonight was great. I thought we actually had some real talent tonight, for real. I like the talent tonight.
Yeah, it was a lot of nice talent. Comedian has been—
has not won yet. We have not. It's gonna be hard for a comedian to win, Sean. That's gonna be hard. You got to be— you got to be be, I mean, blowing our mind funny to win on here, you know what I'm saying? You got, you got to come on with it. That's gonna be hard though.
Yeah, well, what we can do is go through the archives and pick our favorite comedians and we'll just send them through to the finale and, and pick our favorite poets and send them through, and then they can just perform on the final finale. Because I think it'd be nice to have a poet and a comedian, uh, join along with the, with an actual singer.
You know who I like as a comedian? Who? Polka dot lady. Shut up, shut up, be quiet. She was the boring lady, Tasha. You know, the one that, that's real proper. What's her name? The polka dot— she had on the polka dot.
Oh, he like that lady. Yeah, she's nice. She's a clean comedian. She a clean comedian.
