Happy Hour | Help! I’ve been waiting 7 years for my man to marry me! Should I leave him?

In the second half of the live YouTube episode, hosts Latasha Transrina Kebe and co‑host Jasmine field a rapid stream of caller questions and chat comments while promoting their upcoming wine‑gossip‑comedy tour. The segment covers a range of personal dilemmas: how to set boundaries with a clingy friend; a Kentucky healthcare professional’s struggle dating an Air Force commander battling PTSD and complex family dynamics; the risk of trauma bonding when a caregiver‑type woman repeatedly supports a partner in crisis; a listener’s fight to clear a wrongful manslaughter record and advice to sue the county; an online romance with a Nigerian man, financial expectations, and the logistics of meeting abroad; an antisemitic rant from a Chicago caller and the hosts’ rebuttal; a 24‑year‑old woman’s decision about a 35‑year‑old man still living with his cousin; and numerous promotional plugs for the hosts’ live shows, upcoming gossip topics, and ticket sales. Throughout, the hosts blend informal, conversational tone with direct, sometimes blunt advice, interspersed with repeated promotional messages.

We don't have no control over these ads unless we just demonetize, and Lord knows I'm too broke to do that. Can't do that. No, I need to stop saying broke. Yeah, I need to practice the law of attraction again. That's how I got here in the first place. I use the law of attraction. And so you can't use words like that because it gets pinned in your subconscious, and then you might as well think you broken and you'll forever be broke. So I'm gonna say I'm rich.
Teddy, we got it! We got it, Teddy! And if we ain't got it, we gonna get it. Listen, listen, listen, Jasmine, can I get my wine glass and fork?

So make sure y'all go on tashakonstage.com to get your tickets. They're not that expensive, you know what I'm saying? Even if they was, we've sold them higher than what we're selling them now, and they still sold, okay? Don't forget, get on Tasha K, get on, I'm sorry, tashakonstage.com. There's so many Tasha Ks. I don't know why I'm a Tasha K, there's so many. Okay, tashakonstage.com, search the website, you'll be able to see your city. We are adding Miami, Phoenix, Arizona, I believe Dallas. We just added New York. We do have Tulsa, Oklahoma coming up. We have Indianapolis, Indiana coming up. We have, our next show is gonna be Virginia Beach, okay? So we'll be at, I can't remember the name of the club, but we're gonna be in Virginia Beach. But go to my website, tashkayonstage.com, get your tickets. We got some tickets left, okay? That is a Mother's Day show that starts at 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. I cannot wait to chill.
Okay, and toast up with y'all. All right, I'm gonna add Alabama.
I'm gonna be on tour for the next few years, all right? Until I can't tour no more, I'm just gonna keep it going, all right?
So listen, we're entering into a whole new arena. All right, so let me go ahead and start with the questions, all right? You guys remember to write in. This is happy hour.
You ask me questions about what you got going on, and me and all the winos We give you our very best advice, okay? We're not therapists, we're not doctors, we're just people that have been through a lot of shit, still going through a lot of shit, and we just kind of want to help each other not to go through shit because we winos like that, okay? We stick together. Now, all right, let me go ahead and pull up these questions.
Don't forget, the link is in the chat. Did y'all having a good Monday so far?
I am, damn near threw my back out though doing CrossFit, them damn burpees and stuff. They made us do what they call like devil's burpees, where you hold two dumbbells, right? And so I had, I started off with the 10-pound, then I quickly went down to the 5-pound, 'cause you gotta drop all the way on the ground with the burpees and come back up. Damn near my hip ain't been hipping, it ain't been turning right, but you know. Anyway, I got through it.
All right, so first question of the day.
Hold on for a second. Well, it's almost nighttime, evening. All right, let me go ahead and pull it up.
Is from—
all right, why does my phone want to act up? It's like every time I get ready to use it.
Okay, all right, so this is from a wino.
I'm gonna leave her anonymous, okay? She did write in last week and I didn't get a chance to get to her question, so we're starting with her, all right?
So she goes, "Hey, Tasha, I've been with my partner from..." I guess she was trying to say since when I was 18, okay? "We just celebrated our 7-year anniversary and he has still not proposed." That's not an anniversary.
Okay? Let the audience know that is not an anniversary. You can tell she young. She says since she was 18, so that means 19, 20, she 25 now, still a baby. Hit the wine glass, okay? Now, "I know marriage is serious and I never wanted to rush, but it's been 7 years.
We live together and I'm graduating university this year. I used to help him, I used to help with the bills, but I stopped when I had to commit to school.
I'm starting a new job in a week. He said he isn't financially ready to be a husband, but we live together." That's why he don't wanna be a husband. Y'all already live together, okay?
"Now, I cook, clean, and everything, and he pays all the bills." 'He owns his own car, bought it cash. I don't know what else he wants to be ready for.
We are like best friends.' Obviously not, 'cause you're calling me, child. Okay, sorry. I gotta stop throwing shade, but sometimes, you know, it's just in me. And y'all know it's just me. My phone, I need to get a new phone. This old iPhone, you know, they start messing with it when you don't buy the new one, okay? Now, here's the thing. She goes, 'He owns his own car, bought it cash. I don't know what else he wants.' to be ready for. We are like best friends, but I find it so hard to understand what's the holdup. I plan to end the relationship if we don't take the next step by the end of the year. I'm not pressuring him. I just read the sentence before, it sound like pressure, don't it?
This sound like pressure. Okay, I'm not pressuring him because I don't want a shut up ring. "I want a real marriage.
Am I being hasty?" That's a hard one, okay? That's really a hard one. And I say this to say because you've already been doing everything that married couples do. Y'all have been living together for a long time. You know, you're going to school, you're supporting one another. You know, this is what marriage is about. It's not about, oh, the man paying all the bills and you just get to lay on your ass and do what you wanna do. Now there's some men that are like that, but just be cautious with what comes with that, okay? All right, this is not the '60s no more. We need two people working. Two. Matter of fact, that's why people in three-layer relationships now, okay?
Now, I'ma say that you are being a little hasty. I don't know y'all financial situation. It seems like it's kind of tight because if you haven't been working the last few years and you haven't been paying attention to what's going on financially, I can see where he's coming from. And being that he's—
he has invested in you. He has invested in you. You have a degree. You didn't have to pay no bills. That's big dog shit. And so now that he's taken a step back to invest in you, he wants to now invest in himself It's his turn. Now I can see if you didn't get anything out the deal, which means like you was a housewife, you got kids, you know, he out here getting his money up, he got a business, he don't wanna get married, but you haven't found you.
You found you. I know y'all be saying, "Oh, Tasha, you male-identified." No, no, no, no. This is about two human beings who have been together since they were kids, who have managed to build this much, and all he's saying is, "I gave you time, now give me time." You got more than him right now. I take it that you have a degree. He's still— If he's been paying all the bills, he probably hasn't had a chance to go to school. So why don't you back up now and support him? And if he still doesn't want to marry you, it's not like if y'all divorce—
If y'all separate in like 5 years, let's say, 'cause that's how long it generally takes to get a degree.
It's not like you gonna be leaving with nothing. I need to see the comments. I mean, am I overreacting here? Because I'm just trying to figure this out. If he invested in you, what's wrong with you investing back in him? Hello? Anybody? Anybody? They still running ads. Y'all can't see me? Hit the wine glasses, guys. I need to know. I'm serious because she young and I know she been listening to Kevin Samuels saying if she ain't married by 25, she damaged goods. But baby girl, you ain't got no kids, you educated. It's not like even if you have kids, does that make you low value? What he's saying is you not doing everything else and then now you wanna go back and start to get your life right. No, no, no, no. You need to hold your horses 'cause I'm gonna be honest with you. Keep playing with him. And if you wanna leave, 'cause you probably won't listen to me, 'cause you want the degree, the house, the kids, the cars, the ring. What he got? Men have mental health too. They got goals that they wanna reach as well too. And I don't see anything that he's done wrong here but be a man that he's gonna be if you were to marry him. So this is the kind of man you wanna marry, but you don't wanna force him to marry you. You don't wanna do that. You wanna support him? Help him to get financially stable.
Then you guys can have the wedding that you want.
And I don't even advise having a wedding. Go to the courthouse, spend your money on an investment.
Not a house, an apartment complex. Then you buy a house. Lord, Lord Jesus, okay?
Don't forget to write in. I'm gonna leave you anonymous, all right? Whether you want to or not.
The email is unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. Okay, we're gonna keep it honest here. You guys are saying I'm right, she can invest in him a bit. Absolutely. This is what a relationship is. This is what this is. What's the problem?
Like I said, keep playing with him, somebody else gonna be playing with him. I got a friend right now, she wasn't playing with her husband and now they sending pies over to the house. We tried to tell her. We was like, girl, ain't nothing wrong with him, honey. Now he, he done.
I got to scratch my back with a thumper nickel, child. Listen, I'm telling you, it's really real out here in these streets.
Y'all better get it.
Who lips looking injected? My lips already big. What?
Okay, all right.
You said, I love advice from married women. I don't know what your name is, but okay, thank you so much, appreciate it. I'm just, I'm just not gonna beat around the bush with you. I don't know what your friends is telling you and stuff like that, but I think you can wait a few more years before you get married. Why does it have to be now? Why? He with you, he taking care of you, he loving on you, you get to do what you want to do.
All he asks you to do is pay your little car payment. That ain't—
girl, bye.
Okay, all right, so let me go ahead. Remember, write in unwindwithtashkay@gmail.com.
I'm gonna read one more question and then I'm gonna start answering calls, uh, using the link. Okay, so make sure you guys hit the link, be patient. I'm gonna let you guys in here, first come first serve, and we're gonna get into some shit. Okay, let's go. All right, I missed y'all too. Oh my God, I had a great weekend. I'll tell y'all all about it on tashaklive.com right after the show because it's not about me today, it's about y'all. Okay, now let me go on. I gotta start. I need an iPad, Jasmine. It's got— we got to get one. I need to be— I got these phones and everything around.
Okay, all right, so I need help.
All right, this is another from— this is another question from an anonymous whiner.
Hello, Tasha, I need some help with this matter. Let me just say for now that I have a son who was now 17 years old and his father died one one year ago from the house in Virginia.
You know we can't say the real word in here. If anybody have any questions on what the house in Virginia is, guys, please educate them in the chat, okay? Now, sorry, may he rest in peace.
My son's father was the brother of someone in the music industry.
Okay.
Yet my son can't even call and say hello or anything.
I believe the brother was embarrassed. And ashamed of his own brother. Let's just say he make music with his mouth and he did it very well. I don't know what that means, but okay. Who you talking about, Tank? Okay. Um, I never knew of this, of his brother, until my son was around 8. My son's grandfather was in his life and he passed away about 5 or 6 years ago. I think it's very unfair that my son has made no, no male role models unless he's in school or at home with his older brother. I have a few pictures, but I've always been afraid to say anything, fearing that I could damage his reputation. I don't know why you would damage his reputation, okay. The uncle came to the restaurant and paid for everyone meal, and he showed up to the hospital on his brother's dying bed and didn't even touch him.
Yet and still, I hadn't been with or seen my son's dad in a couple years, because I guess he was hiding because he was scared sick.
I showed up to the hospital, took good care of him even when the nurses or doctors was afraid to. You braver than me.
I suited up. Viewer discretion is advised. Okay, I suited up and I washed him from head to toe. Why are y'all saying Dougie Fresh?
What? Yeah, Dougie Fresh, Fresh Beat. But oh Oh, see, that's why y'all be over here. Y'all be knowing more wine than I know. Y'all be educating me on stuff, okay? Allegedly, Dougie E. Fresh brother, okay?
Uh, okay.
I showed up to the hospital and took good care of him even when the nurses and doctors was afraid to. I suited up and washed him from head to toe. I fed him, brushed his teeth and all.
As I was cleaning his behind because he had house in Virginia, as soon as I would be cleaning him, the poop would be pouring out. That didn't matter to me because one thing he did do was give me a great son whom I love dearly. This is something that's been bothering me and I don't know what to do.
I don't know— I don't want him to acknowledge me, but at least be an uncle to your baby brother's son.
Y'all are messy. Oh, I thought we said no celebrity gossip today. How did we get here? I swear I didn't even know. Y'all put me on game. Y'all put me on wine. Oh my God, look at— allegedly— remember guys, I'm gonna be taking calls here after this question. Link in the chat. Since y'all know more than me, since y'all know who these people is, Somebody said HIPAA. Okay, hit hashtag HIPAA. Since y'all know more than me, then what is the advice? I listen, I only know if he beatbox with his mouth.
I, I feel his brother's life is his brother's life. It's really not his brother's responsibility to care for anybody. I get it, you know, and if he already with his brother, what makes you think he would want his offspring? You said Biz is deceased. What are y'all talking about?
Okay, I don't know, I'm just reading the comments.
You said sounds like Dougie, he makes music with his mouth, and his brother is Biz. Jasmine, look that up for me please. Can you do a little research, see if Biz Markie, uh, died? He died. And, and Dougie Fresh is his brother. Huh? Okay, Jasmine's verifying.
If you're just coming, getting in here, this is happy hour. You guys get to write in.
I will read your question and we will give you our most honest and sincere raw answer. Okay, I'm not drinking yet, so I am operating now with a clear mind. All right, um, we just read a question from a young lady who says she has a son with a celebrity's brother. The brother died from the house in Virginia. They're not related. Okay, somebody said one of the Fat Boys. Let's just focus on the advice. Okay, here's my advice. I don't think it's his brother's responsibility to do anything, you know, like I think that's a privilege that we are given to have siblings But like I said, if his brother didn't fuck with him when he was alive, I don't understand why he's obligated to fuck with your son. Now, there's other ways of getting role models. Like, you can get remarried, you know? You can find a man that you could sign up. The Boys and Girls Club, they have football coaches, you know? You said Biz had diabetes. You know, that's what they be saying and stuff. You know, they always talking about— Anyway, I don't know this. I'm just saying, I just feel that this is just, it's a bit intrusive.
Like, put yourself in his shoes.
Like, would you feel obligated to have to be in your sister's kids' lives if you didn't mess with her?
No. So I just, I don't know, I think this is a reach.
But I, I think there's other ways to find your son, like I said, role models. He has his brother. If you're dating somebody, you know, or getting ready to marry somebody, you know, I'm sure you got uncles and people that can show him what being a father was. Because just because this man is a celebrity, he's not obligated to do a damn thing, okay? And that's just You said put your son in the ROTC program or the sports program. Exactly. So that's how I'm just gonna leave it. It is a sensitive topic, I get it, because that's your baby, and I'm not trying to tell you how to raise your baby or nothing like that. But what I'm telling you is, you know, if this was my sister coming at me like this, girl, I, I think it's a money grab. I really think it's a money grab. I do. Because if the brother wasn't— let's just say he wasn't famous— would you be concerned about him being in your son's life? Or you just kind of want your son to have access to that? You know, maybe he can kind of take the path that maybe his daddy didn't take, and he took another path, and yeah, that house took over. Um, but yeah, that's, that's a lot. And, and he's thankful to have his granddaddy, let me tell you. When these boys do have these male figures before the age of 8, that is a good sign because it's in they subconscious, okay? So now you gotta focus on guiding him in the right direction, making sure that he's busy and he ain't got too much time on his hand to be out here running the streets, you know? Yeah, I just, uh-uh, I'm sorry, I'mma be on the brother's side.
Jasmine said it's terrible. Don't forget, guys, use the link in the chat to call in. I'm gonna take 3 to 2 callers, okay?
And then I'm gonna go back to reading questions. Please email me right now. The emails are coming to my phone. unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. Okay, don't forget, guys, get tickets. I'm on my comedy tour right now, my first tour. We're doing great. Tashakonstage.com. And don't forget, we'll be heading over for the second part of the show to tashakalive.com right after this show to discuss R. Kelly's appeal being appealed.
What'd they say? He finna get out and do what to me?
I was gonna hide my daughter, everybody.
Okay, all right, rock the boss, rock the boss.
Hello? Hello?
Got—
hello, I can't hear you. Jasmine, can you turn them up? Okay.
Hey, can you hear me?
I can. How you— where you calling from?
I'm calling from Atlanta, Georgia. How are you?
Good. Shout out to ATL.
Yeah, yeah, I just wanted to show my love, you know, because I, um, I watch you a lot, you know what I mean? So I just—
I don't—
I guess I'm speechless.
I didn't—
you're a celebrity to me, you know what I mean? You keep doing your thing. F everybody who trying to hold you back. Whoever tried to make you fall, F all of them. I'm rocking with you.
Thank you.
Thank you so much. You got a question?
Um, I do have a question.
So I guess, um, I'm, I'm—
so I was dwelling on the interview that you had with the trans community, and I kind of, you know, I was on your side, but then I kind of wasn't on your side because Uh, with the, with the trans community, you know, a lot of them have went through trauma, a lot of them haven't went through trauma, and you know, the, the mental state stipulations of how people perceive them to think and all of that. And we are told, oh, you're not a woman, you're not a woman, we're not trying to be a woman, we don't want a pussy, you know what I'm saying? Um, we like being feminine, the role was feminine, they didn't stop making wigs. Just for women, you know what I mean? So if this man is feminine, whether he's a straight man and he's feminine, um, it's just what it is, you know. You can't ask a zebra why it has stripes or why a lion has a mane. Everything is what it is, you know what I mean? So I think the world should just show love, and that's been holding on to me for a while. But, you know, we're good. I love you so much, and I thank you.
So you didn't have a question? No, no, no, because I'm overwhelmed.
I'm overwhelmed.
I didn't have questions. I was waiting on the question.
It's so much I wanted to say, so I'm I didn't know you was even gonna pick me, so yeah, I don't want to waste y'all time too much, but you ain't wasting no time.
Shoot your question.
Um, what is it?
They want to know too in the chat. They like, what's the question?
Okay, okay.
So what is it like being— because I mean, I don't really care about them, it's mainly you. I like, uh, what is it like being in your position and, you know, getting these questions from your fans and being up here and being the the movement? What is that— what is that like for you?
I feel— that's a good question.
Um, okay, because they don't know that, you know, they just see you and, oh yeah, she likes drama, she running behind the drama.
Yeah, I feel honored because for people to be able to trust me with such sensitive topics That says a lot. And so, yeah, I try to just make sure that I move correctly when it comes to those things. And even when it comes to the trans community, like, you have to understand, like, when we do videos, you know, there's only so much time we have in a video. You will never see me online saying I hate trans or, you know, wishing bad on trans. I, you know, I get so much love from the trans community. Like I said, one of my mentors is trans. Trans.
Right.
My mentor is a trans woman, you know. And so the narrative that's out there is based on snippets. But here's my thing, like, I just hate— and it has to do with everybody. Like, they, they got this thing out here, like, I hate light-skinned women, right? I'm like, but when I drag dark-skinned women, you don't hear dark-skinned women saying, oh, Tasha K hate dark-skinned women. Like, you don't hear them say—
like, and it's like But the light-skinned women will be sitting up laughing. And I'm like, hold up now. Wait a minute.
And the same thing goes with, you know, the LGBTQ. Like, you guys are some of the most—
and I'm going to be honest with you. I love the community because y'all messy.
I'm a messy person, right? I love to get a kiki out of some shit.
You know what I'm saying? I love to learn.
I'm nosy as hell. You know, y'all got good reasons though, but I feel like because, uh, but why do you—
why does the straight community just naturally hate a gay person?
No, I don't think the straight community hates you. I, I really don't. I just think people— what people don't understand, they fear.
Okay, you know, right, right, right.
That's what I feel. And like, people are becoming more educated on it, you know.
I don't—
you know, and so you have to look at it from that standpoint. I don't think they hate y'all at all. Y'all got more laws and shit than regular women right now. I wouldn't say that. Y'all just got your own day on Easter.
Okay.
All right.
Yeah.
Happy Transgender Visibility Day before they said Happy Easter.
That's crazy, all of that.
Yeah, y'all got to see y'all blessings. Y'all focusing on the negative down here, but you gotta understand Black people as a whole, we just became free less than, you know, 100 years ago.
You know what I'm saying? Like, we all going through it.
And I feel that when you are suffering with gender identity and shit like that and you have mental illness and you come from a house of trauma and stuff like that and you top it off and put medication on top of it. Yeah, that's— I think what's happening is there needs to be a slowdown of what's going on because, you know, the stories that I'm getting It will blow your mind of what trans women are going through and some of the decisions that they made based on being on medication and having trauma and not receiving therapy and stuff and just being all around confused about life. Wow.
Okay.
So, yes. All right.
Any other questions, baby?
No. I thank you for your time. I didn't know you was going to pick me, so I'm sorry, but I thank you so much.
You ain't got to apologize. Call in anytime and we'll let you know when we back in Atlanta so you can get them tickets to come to the wine show, because we had a lot of trans women at the wine show now. At the wine show.
Okay, okay.
All right, I love you.
Have a good one.
I love you too.
All right now.
All right, all right.
Jovita, welcome back! Welcome back to the, to the happy hour! Where you calling from?
Chicago?
No, not Chicago. I'm still in Ellenwood. I'm still in Ellenwood, Georgia.
Okay, you're still in Ellenwood. All right, so what's your question?
So first off, I want to say I did see you when you was here in Atlanta.
I don't know if you remember me.
I had on your white sweater by the window. It said—
I think—
yeah, I do.
Yes, I do. That was me. Okay, okay.
And I loved your live show. I loved it. You know I was coming to see you.
Thank you.
But what's up?
I want to get into it because I'm, I'm kind of tired of a little couple things. Oh, wait, wait, wait, let's go back, let's go back first. Remember my, my neighbor was suing me for my dog bite? We got another continuance and stuff, so we got, we got one more continuance, so we'll get back to that another day.
Okay.
But what I want to get into it about is because I'm, I'm sick and tired I'm sick and tired. I'm sick and tired of people using that word retarded. You know, I got an autistic daughter. My autistic daughter is 9 years old, and I'm so sick. And I've asked specific family members, friends, I keep asking, stop using that word around me. Just like Black folks want people to stop, want white folks to stop using that word nigger.
Nigga. Hey, why can't y'all stop using monetized here, Jovita?
Oh my God, I'm sorry. Oh, I'm sorry.
Oh, my bad. We can't say that word on here. Yeah, yeah, correct me.
I ain't know we couldn't say that word, the N-word. No, we can't say it, but the same way, just like ninja, ninja, ninja. Just like we can't say that word ninja.
They always talking to me and stuff behind the scenes at YouTube.
Lord Jesus.
Go ahead, go ahead, girl.
What's the question?
But anyway, to me it's the same thing, just like like y'all want people to stop using the word ninja. Why can't we stop using the same word retarded for autistic people? Why can't we stop using this? So what's your opinion before I go on the Facebook Instagram rant? Am I wrong for thinking that way?
I think, um, who are your family? Why would they be calling your baby retarded though?
No, they're not calling her. I'm just saying like if they speaking about somebody else, so that person is retarded, you know, they just say it because we so used to saying it in the Black community, but they can't stop saying it.
Retarded in the dictionary though.
Yeah, but it's used for, uh, autistic people originally.
That's what they use for more people who had like Down syndrome and stuff.
No, no, no, no, it's for autism.
They—
it's, it's a direct reflect of autism. It's for children with autism, not Down syndrome.
You sure?
So And so that's why I'm asking you, is it me?
Is it me?
I think— I want to know, honestly, listen, if your baby— your baby is the most important thing, and we can't control what other people say, you know, like, people are going to have their opinions. You have to understand, like, a lot of these new words— well, a lot of these words that we use, you know, coming up and stuff like that, you gotta understand, like, they— people just got sensitive. They just started censoring people, you know what I'm saying? Especially like in the comedy world. Like I'm entering the comedy world now and I can't say— it's like they can't— they say I can't say a lot of stuff. Bullshit.
I'm saying what the hell I want to say, you know what I'm saying? Right on the stage, not online, but on the stage.
But I just think, you know, I don't really think it's a big deal. I don't consider people with autism as retarded. You know, I have cousins and uncles. They some of the smartest people I know, you know, so I don't see anything, uh, wrong. So I just, I just feel like it's an ignorant— it's just an ignorant, you know, but you're not in vain. Whatever.
Like, get that retarded-ass kid out, you know.
I would say that, but I don't see— you know, people are going to say what they want to say, just like we're not going to stop using the N-word. You're wasting your time.
I'm wasting my time on saying anything about it. Yes, I felt— and that's why I stopped saying anything.
I think the sales stuff must got you— must got you all bent, girl, talking about the prices.
Girl, yes, it did. But I was already in the front, but she didn't know though.
She wasn't. She wasn't.
So like, when people were saying, you know, calling her names and stuff, it's like they doing that to pick at her because she really wasn't. She was just using that as a way to shield herself from all of the criticism that she goes through, you know, that she, she, you know, she has. Yeah, it's kind of like, oh, let me, let me put myself in the sympathy— on a sympathy tour so people will take it easy on me. So she gets to say what she wants to say, just like she was talking about that commentator, you know, shit about somebody else. Like, you do the same thing, but you can't take what you can dish. And now all of a sudden when people hit back, I'm autistic, leave me alone. No, it doesn't work, right? Yeah, they don't.
So you say leave it alone, it is what it is.
Leave it alone, leave it alone. Okay, I wouldn't even worry about it.
Oh, that's so hard.
Y'all doing down there in South Georgia good?
It's hot. We trying to move, we moving to McDonough. We getting out of Ellenwood, we moving to McDonough. How you feel about McDonough?
Uh, it's a lot of land.
Yes, that's why we moving now. That's why we moving now.
It's too far for me. I like being in the city.
See, now I like the land because, you know, it's me, my mama, and my brother, and I think— how many of my kids? 3 of my kids. Look, I got— I gotta count. 3 of my kids. So we need a lot of land. McDonough gives you a lot for way more than Chicago. Oh my God, you get so much more money. And then we right here by the dam. My daughter just got out the car when you answered.
I say thank the Lord because, you know, my mouth Okay, I know, I know, I know.
But listen, I'm gonna go ahead and move on. We got people waiting.
I appreciate everything, and, uh, keep me updated on that dog bite case.
That's true. We'll talk to you later, girl.
All right, Mama.
Bye-bye.
All right, bye-bye.
All right, Mr. Collins, how you doing?
Real quick, Mr. Collins, before we let you up, guys, please write in.
All the questions are coming to my email because I'm gonna be taking questions after this.
unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. This is happy hour.
This is all about us.
Okay, all right, Mr. Collins, how you doing?
What's going on though? What up though?
I'm good, you can let him up. What's up, what's going on? So where you calling from?
I'm from Flint, Michigan. What up though?
Shout out to Flint, Michigan. What's up with you? So what's your question?
My question is, uh, why did you, uh, the, the young white girl— I forgot her name— why did— when she said she was, uh, believing about Jesus Christ and the Bible and stuff like that, you was trying to tell her that it wasn't true and that people had like, you know, like, like the Bible was contradictive. I was like, why she doing it?
Did you watch the whole interview or you just saw that clip?
I did watch the whole interview. Where'd you watch it at?
I'm just asking that because a lot of people didn't watch the whole interview.
I watched it on my TV and I watched it on my phone.
Okay.
So I'm gonna take your word.
So why did you— why didn't you do that though?
Because if you watch the whole interview, people that's watched the whole interview aren't asking me questions about that because they know the whole story on what went down.
Okay, well, she— you know, if that— if that young girl was, uh, believing in God and stuff like that, you know what I'm saying? Because I had one of my good friends send me a message. He sent me— he sent me that clip.
So he said, look at this. And so you went to pay—
you went—
you on TashaKLive.com?
Nah, look at you promoting stuff.
No, I'm asking.
That's what an interview is.
Listen to me now, you know.
Okay, I'm just trying to make sure I watched the interview.
I've been talking. I've been— this is our second time talking.
So you ain't— so just be honest, you ain't watch the whole interview, you watch the clip?
No, I watched the interview. I watched the interview.
Okay, so what was that interview about? Because it wasn't just about that. So what was the interview about?
That's the— that's, that's, that's the part that, that interested me. That's why I'm calling in. This is the question. Why did you try—
that's the part that went viral. There was a part where she talked about her skin. Do you remember what she said about her skin?
Uh, no, I don't remember that, but I do remember this.
See, you didn't—
I do remember this.
No, no, no, no, no, no. So you triggered off of one clip, and I'm not gonna have a conversation.
Listen, I respect you as a wino, I really do, and I know you've called in before. But I cannot have a conversation with someone who did not watch the entire interview, because anybody that watched the entire interview—
I watched the whole interview. I watched the whole interview. No, in the whole interview, the whole time— wait a minute, wait a minute, Tasha. Okay, the whole interview, y'all, y'all was going through y'all thing, y'all was doing y'all thing, but when she got to that certain, that certain point, what was— he was like, well, you know, you know, you know that the Bible was contradictive.
I was like, that's not how the conversation even came about.
Yeah, well, that's the way it all came about.
No, that's because you can't—
you can't say that God ain't real.
You can't say that, sir. Listen, Mr. Collins, I'm not gonna talk over you. That's the clip that we put out that got you triggered.
No, I ain't got me tripping. So you don't believe in God? Let me ask you this. This is my question. Do you believe in God?
Why? I'm asking you. I'm asking you why.
Why does it matter if I believe in God or not? What does that do for your life?
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
What does that do for your life, whether or not I believe in God?
It does a lot. It does a lot for my life.
I guarantee you, if I go through your phone right now and, and pick out your music selection, you listening to a niggas that's rapping against God. So we're gonna go—
I don't know.
So why are you questioning me?
No, I don't. First of all, I don't listen to music. I listen to media. I listen to media.
Okay, you probably listen to some media that don't believe in God. You probably have slept with women that don't believe in God. You probably have kids that don't believe in God. I'm just asking you, what does it have to do with it?
She's 26 years old and she definitely believes in God. Why don't you believe in God? Why did you try to use that little white girl?
Sir, this is my show. I'm being gracious by letting you up here.
All right, go ahead.
I'm just asking you, let's just say, let's just say hypothetically that I don't believe in God. What is that going to solve for you?
That's a bad thing.
For you?
Can I answer it?
Can I answer it?
Yeah, absolutely.
That's a bad thing, Tasha.
That's not a bad thing.
Oh, it's a horrible thing.
Tell me why it's horrible.
Because that's the creator of you, me, your family, my family, the whole thing. You can— and that little, that little white girl sat on that platform and was like, yeah, I don't know.
Her name is Vicki. She's a human being.
Yeah, yeah, but you, you tried to persuade her to—
No.
Yeah, you did.
No, we didn't. Yes, you did, because you didn't watch the interview.
Mr. Collins, listen, I would rather— Listen, I'm being honest with you right now. I would answer any question that you have for me if you would have just at least watch the interview. And I'm gonna tell you why I didn't watch the interview, because you would have known a little girl was being abused by a pastor who was preaching to her, who is a very well—
and that's what made her go that way.
Talking, Mr. Collins, because you being triggered, it's like you're getting your blood pressure up for no reason.
I don't know why.
My life don't affect your life. I'm just saying, you got your views, I got my views. I'm just saying, she was with a—
you said ask questions, so I'm asking questions.
She was with a man that was abusing her and preaching God at the same time. No, see, you didn't watch the interview.
You didn't watch the interview.
That's not true. That's not true. She's young, but hey, I get it.
Do your thing.
And I'm gonna tell you something, you going through your thing, but I'm gonna tell you something, you, you definitely gonna have to come back to God.
Listen, listen, Mr.
Collins, you're definitely gonna have to come back to God.
I— listen, I'm a I respectfully drop you, and before I drop you, I pray to God every day. I grew up in a church. My father and uncles are pastors. But there's a certain type of God that people use to abuse people and manipulate them, and that's exactly what we were referring to in that interview if you would have watched it in its entirety. Well, Vicky is actually due to come back to do another interview next month, and we're going to unwind all the misconceptions that were created based off of that clip. Me and her are very cool. Have a great day, Mr. Collins. Shout out to Michigan. We got to go.
Jesus, I know he didn't watch the interview. Y'all were doing y'all thing. How were we doing our thing? And she was scared the entire time. Anyway, link is in the chat.
Drop him, cuz he still talking shit back there. Lord Jesus, he come up here doing the work of the Lord today.
Why you following the devil, sir? Then why?
Just saying.
All right, y'all, don't forget, listen, I bet—
I'm—
hold on for a second. This is all inboxes. Okay. Jasmine, I saw some questions in the chat. There was a lady on Facebook that actually wrote a question. I forgot to tell them they can write their questions in the chat and shit. Give me one second. Hold on, my email is trying to refresh it.
Don't forget, guys, this is happy hour.
You can call in using the link, or you can write in at alonewithtashakay@gmail.com. The questions are coming. Right to my phone. Okay, give me one second. My mouth dry, child. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Okay. This one kind of long. Let me see. Hold on. Okay. All right, guys. All right, so hold backstage. I'mma get to you in just a second. Let me go ahead. I'm pulling up the questions, making sure they ain't got no bad words in them. Y'all already done got me demonetized for the day. Lord Jesus. All right, you said she ignored my question. What you mean? Put it, um, put it in the chat, Culture Girl. Put it in the chat. Okay, rewrite it because once the questions go up, we can't refresh them and bring them back. Okay. All right, so Tasha, first off, I want to say I've been watching you for years now and I love your show. I love everything you're doing and I hope you continue to win. Okay. Please don't say my name. I really need some serious advice. I have a guy friend I've known for 4 years now. So here's the problem. He doesn't listen, and I think he's being manipulative. So I'm at a point where I'm ready to just throw the friendship away. Before I do that though, I'm trying to make sure I'm not bugging. So let me explain. Have you ever tried to express your feelings about something to somebody without being in an argument? For example, if a friend did something that hurt your feelings, so you explain what they did and how it hurt you, but then they say you're trying to argue with them. Okay, I know what that is. Yes, counterfunktion. Okay, because that's what I'm experiencing with this guy. This is a 40-year-old man, and whenever I try to address certain things, he do that to bother me or express how I feel about something. If he doesn't like what I'm saying, he starts saying I'm trying to argue. I could say multiple times I'm not trying to argue, but I'm just trying to talk it out. And if he don't agree with what I'm saying, we can agree to disagree. But he never does that. He barely ever says sorry for anything. He tries to justify everything he does, and he barely ever takes any accountability. He will just try flipping it on me and say I'm trying to argue all the time instead of listening and taking in what I'm saying. So there's two things, okay. All right, so, all right, he don't have to like what I'm saying or even agree, but it doesn't make it an argument. So it's weird to me. I'm almost 32, and on April 24th he's 40. So how can he even think because somebody said something to him that he didn't like or agree with, it's an argument? Especially when the person is saying, I'm not mad or arguing, just talking everything out. Do you think he's trying to be manipulative to me, or am I bugging? Or maybe it's his way of thinking. Is— or maybe his way of thinking is really like that. I say I'm not mad, I'm just arguing. I'm not arguing, I'm just trying to talk it out, and he just brush it off and put it on me like I'm wrong for addressing something that he did that bothered me. Do you think he's doing it on purpose to be manipulative, Should I just walk away from the friendship? How can I handle this? It doesn't make sense. Any advice you have, appreciate it. I'm sorry for writing so much. I tried to give as much info as I could. Thank you for reading this. Now, I can't remember, did she say this was her lover or her friend? Okay, and he's 40. All right, so, um, there could be two things. Friendships are hard, trust me, okay? Very hard. Lord Jesus, I'm dealing with one that I thought I was done with years ago, and it came right back up. I said, Lord Jesus, why are you doing this to me? But obviously God had unfinished business for me to work out between me and that friend, okay? And at the end of the day, and if something happened really to her, I will probably be the first to step up and take care of her kids and stuff. But when I tell you, we do not get along. We do not get along, okay? And we honestly do well apart. Heart very well. Well, one of us does.
Anyway, um, I'ma say there's either two things. A lot of people—
and I say this, I say this with— and this is that friend that I'm talking about, because I like to use my own personal situations to kind of, you know, gauge the situations here. I would just say this: everybody can't take you trying to correct them. I'm in a, a, like, I have a big platform. People expect me to talk. They expect me to have the answers.
They expect me to. But everybody can't take that. That's why I ask y'all permission before I start giving out advice. I should listen. I go through it with the celebrities. I'll talk to them on the phone. As soon as I put up a damn, uh, video, they all bent out of shape. Just happened with Charleston White.
I said, well, listen, he a grown man. I'm not about to pat the back, okay? I'm not about to add an ass of a grown man, all right? Listen, especially not talking to me like that. I'll tell y'all about it on tashakelive.com. It's not nothing big, it's just he's emotional, okay?
Um, but I'm just saying, like, people—
everybody can't take what you're giving, and it's not for everybody to, to be able to, to get it. Some people are just fragile. Some people just don't want to look at themselves. Some people don't want to fix themselves. Some people are just real comfortable where they are. Now, for you, if you're recognizing that that's a problem in your friendship and he doesn't want to address that, then yes, I think it's time for you to reevaluate the friendship. And you can demote the friendship, okay? Which means you shift your energy to a friend that has a little bit more give and take, that allows you to talk, that allows you to express your feelings, okay? And things like that, that will get the whole picture, that actually cares about you. But if he's just deflecting or trying to shut it down or trying to give off what we call narcissistic vibes, you don't have to deal with that.
That's your friend. You ain't laying up with that man. No, we're not laying up with him. So I don't see what the issue is. And I know you care about him, obviously. But I guarantee you, people will change when you change you.
And so right now, the ball is in your court. But damn, mouth dry. Jesus, talking too much. Be wary of people that talk too much. Our breath be stinking. Lord Jesus, you gotta forever chew gum and stuff, just talking. Anyway, I'm just saying, I don't see why you have to deal with it. And like I said, if it's a problem for you Just reevaluate the friendship, reevaluate where he sits as a friend, his access to you, things that you talk about. Because if you can't talk about nothing deep, then that friendship needs to be demoted to a surface-level friendship, which means, how you doing?
Good day? All right.
You want to go hang out, smoke some hookah?
Okay.
Boom, you go home. You don't go past that. Just like this friend that I had to reconnect with, not by choice of my own, because There was a family emergency.
I ain't gotta be like— Even though that person is going through it, I'm just listening, but I'm not getting involved.
I'm listening, but I'm not getting involved because that's the type of friend that you can't be honest with.
You can't tell your truth. You can't even be yourself with, so it's surface. If I say, "How you doing?" and she wanna unload a million things but don't reciprocate to say, "How you doing?" That's the type of person I'm dealing with, so guess what I do? All right, it's good to hear from you.
I'll see you later.
The kids can play with each other. We out.
You got to know where people sit. Not everybody should have that type of access to you. Not everybody is privileged enough to get that access to you. And if they're not going to be in line with, okay, as we're going through things, we fix them. It's not me, me, me, me, me.
It's not them, them, them, them, them. You know? Yes.
No, no, put yourself first. Reevaluate. Put somebody else in his place, okay? He'll get jealous and come around, and then he'll probably want to talk about, why, why did you demote me, girl?
What happened?
And you'd be like, yo, you don't like to talk. I need somebody I can talk with. I can correct you.
Correct me, you know.
Anyway, don't forget, writing in, unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. The questions are coming right to my email. Okay, you guys can actually write your question as well in the chat. Okay, so, all righty. So damn, I knew something was wrong with my email. I just got refreshed, everything just came in. Boom. All right, so we're gonna move on to the video questions in just a second. Hold tight. I see you guys— Kenya, Michael, Callie— um, if you're waiting backstage, again, please guys, just first come first serve, hit the link. Again, I'm taking questions directly to my phone, unwindwithtashakay@gmail.com. And don't forget, I'm on tour, my first wine gossip and comedy tour. Tickets on sale, tashakayonstage.com. Okay, Virginia Beach is up next in 2 weeks. All right, so how do you let a friend go, says a user, that always complains about a man she has no intentions to leave? She calls me all day and night anonymous. You don't answer the phone. This is the type of friend I'm talking about right now. 15 years, I'm gonna leave, I'm gonna leave, I'm gonna leave. You still ain't gone, girl. What is you doing, child? I left before you. That's not even my man, you know.
Like, you— y'all just listen, shift the energy. Just shift your focus. This person doesn't get all your energy.
Don't answer the phone.
I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy.
She will find somebody else to call and complain about— and complain to, I'm sorry, complain to. All right, so that's all you gonna do with that. It ain't none of your business any damn way.
All right, come on up here, Kenya. Where you calling from, Kenya? I can't hear you.
I saw you on here. Yes, I can hear you now. I can hear you now. Okay, hey, so where you calling from?
From Louisville, Kentucky.
Shout out to Louisville, Kentucky. I need to get to Louisville.
Where are we going? Ain't we on tour in Kentucky? Oh, you guys are coming here? I thought we was.
Jasmine said no, and she told me to shut up. She tired. She tired. Okay, so what's your question, Mama?
So I wanted to talk to you, um, like about a dating question.
Okay, all right, let me—
hold on for a second, let me get my, uh, Kenya G on. Okay, let me get my Kendra G on. Let me see. But I'm with my husband for real, you know. Her— they say he's a scammer, allegedly. Let's go.
Um, so I'm in my 30s Okay, turn her up, Jasmine. I'm in my mid to late 30s and I work in healthcare. Um, okay, February I just celebrated my 15th year anniversary in healthcare.
Congratulations.
Thank you. And, um, dating— the hard part about dating is like finding someone, um, on my level. I'm not Necessarily like someone in healthcare, but it's like when I date, because I, I do love dating Black men, I prefer that, but then it's, it's always like I can't find a Black man that has like his stuff together, his career together, his, um, kind of like, um, emotional trauma together. Is when I kind of realized the most. So, um, like for example, like right now, this is the question I wanted to ask you about. Um, I've been dating someone for the past 7 months and he works in the Air Force and he's a Black man. Um, he's a commander in the Air Force. Usually he got a good check.
He got a good check.
He got a really good check.
I heard it in your voice.
Okay, go ahead.
Yeah, and so he mostly works with missiles, and so just managing missiles, um, for the country or along the East Coast. And so he does travel quite a bit, which is fine for me because my career in healthcare is busy too, so it works for us. Um, the thing about him, so he does check off the box, like he has a good career and the money's coming in, he is stable, he does own his own home, I own my own home, also. Um, I don't have kids. He does, he does have kids, and that's okay with me. Um, he has a daughter that's 14 and a son that's 11, and, um, his child's mother is in prison for armed burglary. And so his parents are raising his children right now while he lives on base, and So he's in the process of trying to get like a home big enough on base to where his parents and children can come live with him. And all of that is great. But like the thing for me that's really hard is that like he, he seems to have everything as far as like a good career. And he's a family person. And We see each other often. We see each other probably every other weekend when he's traveling, and then weekends that I don't see him, he goes to see his parents and his kids. But like emotionally, he's, he's very, he's very much struggling with PTSD and stuff that you would expect from being in the service. Because he started when he was 18, and we're, you know, in our mid to late 30s now. And like, I like the relationship so much, but I feel like the thing that I can't manage or the thing that I struggle with with him is like his emotional state because like he just like has a very— he kind of has like a darkness when he speaks about his life. Like he always says, like, um, death follows me and I'm a man of war. And like, you know, I— my life isn't gonna live past 50, all the injuries that I have. Because, um, he got in a, um, uh, accident when he was— a couple years ago, um, when he was, um, jumping out of a plane, um, during training. And so he does have like some injuries on his back, but, um, he's still able, you know, to stay in the service because the injury weren't— the injuries aren't that bad, luckily.
But hold on for a second. She's Black, guys, by the way. Her picture is here. Sorry, they thought you were white because of the way you spoke. They say you talk white, but go ahead.
They, they probably—
it's okay. Go ahead, Mama, go ahead. What's the question though? What's the question?
So, um, my question is just like, um, In this particular relationship, because I, me and him talk about therapy and him getting help and stuff like that. And he always says that he, he is gonna, you know, he's waiting to be seen by a military therapist and things like that. And I tell him that you don't need a military therapist because trauma is trauma. You know what I mean? So if you have trauma, your brain doesn't know if it's from war or because you were adopted as a kid. Your brain just knows it's trauma. And so just in this past 7 months we've been dating, um, like, he kind of just doesn't want to talk about the topic of therapy. He will talk and confide in me about, like, stuff that are— is haunting him and everything, um, from, you know, his work and everything. But it's like, for me, I just feel like I feel like, um, I, I want to be with a career person who is a Black man that is like also like, um, emotionally like stable. So like, do you think that like this is something that, especially being that he works in the military, is it something that like, um, is that something that can be taught? Because I feel like there's certain— it takes a certain type of woman to date someone in the military.
I came from a military background. Them niggas stay trying to get married for some benefits.
Yeah.
Listen, um, for him to be a commander, what is that, like an E7?
Um, I don't know all the lingo. There's so many lingo.
Yeah, I was trying to gauge his pay grade by E7. He sounds like he's like an E7. The fact that he's living on base is a red flag. Um, because most people at that level don't particularly want to live on base. That's weird. And the fact that his parents are raising his kids, that's another issue too, okay? And then the baby mama in jail for armed robbery. It's like, what is the real story?
Um, yeah.
And here's the thing, being that he's already kind of broken up, like, you know, as women, you know, and I know y'all hear this a lot, but it's like we have to be reminded, like, We are the nurturers and the growers of the world, okay? We water, we feed. You're a nurse, which makes it— you're, you, you are a woman, right? And you're already equipped with these things to grow, nurture, you know, water, all that, right? And then you're a nurse on top of that, or you're in the medical field, you're on top of that. So, which is another act of servicing people. So when you go home, you should not have to service anybody unless it's riding dick.
You understand? Yeah, I feel that's right. Do all that you need. If you— if anybody need a break from being of service to people, it's you.
It's women like you, the nurses, the doctors, you know.
Yes, because your life is already demanding.
Too much.
Well, I don't work as a nurse. I work, um, on the pharmaceutical side of pharmacy.
Well, you're still serving people. Yeah, very exhausting. You know, people come to you and they ask you, can they get a prescription for stuff? They try to— they probably treat you like a doctor, like that you their doctor. What does medication work?
Well, that's how I feel a little bit. I feel like when we talk on the phone, or even when he comes to visiting me and Um, I— where I go to visit him, it's like always talking about the, the emotional things that he's going through, which I understand.
That's not your— I'm gonna be honest with you, I would run now before it gets too deep because you're, you're connecting with him. This is a trauma bond because you are a person who naturally helps people and you're a woman. And do you have children?
No, I don't.
So that's even more— because you— it's like, you're— you want to have kids, don't you?
I do, yeah.
So like, baby, no, like, listen, and why does— and I say this— why does he have to be Black?
Um, well, I— because I would love to have Black children.
Um, you will have Black children. Why does he have to be Black?
Um, he doesn't need to be, but that— that's, I guess, what I'm attracted to the most. Like, I love black men. I'm black, I'm from Africa. Like, I would love to have a black man, and I don't mind dating outside of my race, but it's like, I would love—
so why don't you go home and marry?
Because I'm not dealing with the African traditions. I know your husband is African and there's a lot of traditions.
They have changed, honey. I know you trying to run away from it, but they—
listen, you know, it's very uncommon for a woman like me to be be married to somebody from Mali. Mali is one of the most strict countries ever. Okay, so where are you from in Africa?
So I'm from Sudan. Both of my parents are from Sudan, and we moved to America when I was 2 years old, and I grew up in Maine, which is probably why everyone's in the comments that I sound white.
Yeah, no, I mean, I don't, I don't, I don't, you know You know, I got, I got girlfriends that are black as hell. You wouldn't know it if they was on the phone, you know what I'm saying? Listen, um, I'm just saying American women are now waking up, and it's not honestly our men's fault. It's the cards they've been dealt, you know. We're coming out of slavery, oppression, segregation, everything, you know. So like, you have to understand, our, our men come with a lot of shit, but the white men don't. You know, the Latina men don't. But if you really want a Black man, you don't have to just go to Sudan. You can go to Nigeria, you can go to South Africa, you can go— there's, there's like a whole continent with damn near a billion Black men.
So you're saying like, like, run now while I can?
Yes, absolutely. I mean, I got too many issues.
I felt guilty because I was like, maybe I'm not—
see, and you shouldn't even feel that way in your relationship. You shouldn't feel guilty about leaving with somebody, he got too much baggage.
What you gonna do with it?
You should not have to pick that up. I guarantee if the shoe was on the other foot and it was you, you was broken down and your military wore you out and you got children, your baby daddy in jail, you think he would be messing with you?
No. Right. So why does he get the privilege of enjoying someone who has an even playing— who has a clean playing field? No, no, no, no. Raise your standards and get you on a girls' trip and take your ass to Africa. Or hell, the islands. Or just sit back and date you a white man. They got good credit and stuff. You just gotta get you one that's a little on the softer side, 'cause they was raised to disrespect they women, but they ain't gonna disrespect you though.
I don't know.
It's gonna be a long time before I date a white man, but I have—
I don't know.
Now, some of them out here be looking mighty fine, child. I'll be doing CrossFit.
I'll be like, damn, like, you really take working out serious, don't you, brother? He's not even a brother, but he, you know. So, well, I appreciate it.
I don't want to take up time from your other guests, but I just wanted to share that and make sure that, like, I wasn't just like—
I would leave him alone, honey. I mean, he got— no, no, no, his life is— I'm sorry. If I were the female Kevin Samuels, I would say his life is done.
I'm Kendra G today.
His life is done, baby. I'm gonna be honest with you. And if I guarantee, if the shoe was flipped, you wouldn't— he wouldn't even entertain you.
Y'all better start getting y'all some girl trips.
Y'all single, take your ass on over to South Africa, Nigeria, Liberia. Them men over there have you looking like, okay.
All right, all right, baby.

I'm fantastic, Michael. Where you calling from?
I'm calling from Chicago.
Shout out to Chicago. What's your question?
Oh, Tasha, what's up? I gotta ask you something. Oh God, here we go, here we go. All right, what's your— what's your opinion on the Jews?
What the hell that got to do with me?
I'm just asking.
Come on, Tasha, are you Jewish? Hell no, ain't you sound like it? I sound Jewish?
You do.
Come on, Tasha, don't he sound Jewish?
Hell no, don't, don't check my dope like that.
Hi, why are you asking my opinion on the Jews? You talking about that war that's going on over there?
Why are you checking my dope, Tasha?
I'm just saying, what you want to know about that war that's going on over there?
Yeah, I want— yeah, I want your opinion.
People been fighting for years, man. They ain't gonna stop fighting.
It's genocide, isn't it?
They're killing kids. Listen, I just know, first of all, when anybody die at the hands of anybody could be considered genocide, okay? So, you know, we got— we still got Black people dying, you know, daily by cops and stuff. You know, we— it's a lot of people, you know, people dying by COVID. They said it's a genocide coming from somebody else, you know.
So every—
it's compartmentalized, you know. Um, and I just tend to stay out of stuff, especially when it comes to religious wars and things like that. I ain't got— they ain't got nothing to do with me. They don't pay none of my bills. Listen, I'm praying for everybody involved.
Yep, Christ is King, Christ is King. Um, now are you Jewish? Because you're starting to sound a little Jewish.
Who, me? Yes.
You said I sound what?
Jewish.
I sound Jewish?
Yes.
Why would I be Jewish? I'm Black. I'm a mutt.
You could be Jewish and Black.
I'm a mutt. Okay, listen, I don't know where the hell my ancestors are from.
Oh yeah, it sounds like a U-Prom, I guess.
Exactly. Slavery problem.
Well, white people were slaves too.
So you— so you're white but you're not Jew?
Yes.
Okay, so what's this question about? Because I don't really talk about these things on my channel, so why are you over here?
Oh, what do you want to talk about?
Listen, we're talking about your problems.
You got some issues you want to unravel?
Because it sounds like—
I mean, I think Jews are everybody's problem.
It sounds like you talking about everybody else's business but your own. What's going on with you?
The Jews, that they control everything.
I ain't got nothing to do.
Everybody's problem.
I control Tasha, that's all that matters.
I don't know, Tasha, I don't know. I think the Jews are behind your channel, Michael.
Listen, I don't know why they keep asking me questions about that. People going, I ain't got nothing to do with that. Okay, anyway, all right, uh, Corinth— what is this? Corinthian? Corinthian. Hi, baby, how you doing?
I thought you was the Bible calling in right after, girl, because it is, because the devil is a lie.
What the hell? Listen, what's good?
Where are you calling from?
I'm calling from Phoenix.
Shout out to Phoenix, Arizona. You know we're doing a show out there.
Girl, when I heard you announce that, I called my daughter because I was coming wherever.
I said, she coming up.
Yeah, we coming to Phoenix, Arizona. They called me 2 weeks ago to come out there to the club. So I said, where you coming? What is the date? Hold on for a second.
Let me write it down.
Hold on, I think it's— let me see. Let me get my— I know, I know. Don't forget, guys, get your tickets.
TashaKOnStage.com.
Okay, Tasha, my daughter is 10 and she She know I love you and she hears— she heard me get on the phone.
So your daughter, your daughter gonna be getting these tickets for you, huh?
She 10.
Okay.
Oh, she 10? Yeah, she, she got to get a job first. That's a long time. Give me one second, hold on. Okay, let's get this date and then we're gonna take some more questions. Guys, don't forget to write in, okay? The questions are coming right to my phone, unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. All right, so, uh Let me see, I got so many messages, I don't even know. Hold on, Lord Jesus. I'mma have to get back to you on that Phoenix date. I know Jason is watching. Jason, can you please text me right now the date that we're going to be in Phoenix, Arizona, and what club we're going to be at? Please, can you get that to me before the show? All right, so what's your question though, Mama?
Tasha, my question is So I'm 48. When I was 23, I got, uh, a charge, a gun charge. Um, I was protecting my family.
Damn, gun.
You okay?
You riding heavy, child. You about that life. What's going on?
Um, yeah, I'm, I'm, I was born in Chicago. Okay. So, um, I have been trying to— I went to school. I couldn't get my fingerprint clearance. Come to find out, I did my, my criminal history report. Someone from years ago put on my criminal history report that I committed manslaughter in a drive-by shooting. So this is— yes.
Uh-oh, she dropped, y'all. Okay, here she goes. She coming back. Okay, so some— you saw on your criminal history report that you was charged with manslaughter. Water?
Drive-by shooting.
A drive-by shooting. But you from Chicago, so you didn't do it? No, and—
but this happened in Omaha, so no.
Okay.
Oh my God, I really didn't do it. And, um, so they trying to get it off of my, my record, but it's already ruined my life.
How?
Like, huh?
What happened?
So when I was when it happened, some, some people came to my house when I was like 24 and I had to raise them up off of me. So I shot my gun in the air. I end up going to jail and doing 4 months, and I end up getting 2 years probation for having a gun. That was 20-some years ago. I did my, my, um, probation. So I had went to nursing school, got all the way to the end of nursing school. Couldn't get to the clinical because I couldn't pass my fingerprint. Then I go to real estate school, can't get in a real estate school because I can't. So I said, shit, let me just apply, you know, pay for my own background check to see what's in my background check, to see what's going on. Yes, they got me as manslaughter, drive-by shooting, and I cannot— it already done ruined my life. Like, I don't know what to do, Tasha. I don't know what to do. I have literally cried because I'm like, this ruined my life. And I want to know, like, why? Who did it? And I've been calling every number that I can think of. I called the old judge, the old lawyer. Nobody seems to know anything. But I have the original paper that says drive-by shooting, manslaughter. But then they sent me a new one because they knew they messed up. But they, they cleared that off. But it's too late now.
I mean, it sounds like you got some people you could sue. But who, um, who cleared it?
Um, Highway Patrol cleared it.
Why would Highway Patrol clear it?
That's what the probation officer said. She was like, they made a mistake. But he's telling me like, they couldn't possibly make the state. Someone accused me of manslaughter, and I have the, the actual gold seal paper certified. All—
have you, have you spoken to a lawyer about this?
So when I call a lawyer, they're— every lawyer says, well, what do you want to do? Well, what do you want me to do? I don't know what to do. I'm like, I need some advice.
Uh, well, tell them you want to bring a case against the police department or the The county in which that put that charge on your record. Who made a mistake?
Or the county?
Yes, you have to sue the county.
I can sue the county?
Yes.
Oh, okay.
They had you committed a crime that you did not do. Absolutely. Do you know how many people get checks for that? Your life ain't ruined, it's just getting started.
No, seriously, buy you a lawyer to sue the county and just sue the county. Yeah, because I have the actual, uh, and you put all in.
That is, that is emotional. That's pain and suffering. That's loss of wages. That's a lot of shit, bro.
23 years it's been on my background that I committed manslaughter, and this is the reason why.
When they put somebody in jail for all those years and turns out they didn't do it, They gotta pay up.
They gotta pay you, baby.
Just don't give up. Keep your eyes on the prize.
Keep my eyes on the prize.
Get you a civil rights attorney.
So let me write it down.
Yeah, check, baby, check, baby. What?
I said I'm gonna ask. I was gonna call about a man, but shit, fuck that. I'm calling about the money.
What's going on with the man? Well, I'm at this—
I've been I've been talking to this African, this Nigerian online for 2 years.
He was online?
Well, I mean, over the phone for 2 years. Yeah.
Where he at?
He's in Lagos.
Lagos.
Lagos.
Okay. And you ain't seen him?
I see him like we FaceTime every day.
Okay, what do you be doing every day? What do you be doing?
He be working, and, um, it just don't seem like he doing enough for to get me. So he gets—
well, he can't, he can't. You gotta get him, honey. I'm trying to figure out what is he doing all day when he FaceTime you.
Um, sometimes when he FaceTime me, he wants to show me out to all his friends and everybody. Oh, this is my wife, this is my wife. I'm like, I'm not your wife, but He's always like showing me off to everyone.
Okay, so he shows you off, so you know what exactly what he looks like. Yeah. Have you talked to him at night before? Have you talked to him before he went to bed?
I talked to him all the time.
No, I'm saying, have you talked to him before he goes to bed at night? Like, maybe I'm about to go while he in the bed.
Our hours is 8 hours apart. And he calls me when he's in the bed, he calls me when he sleep, he calls me when he go to church, he calls me when he go to work, he calls me when he go everywhere. He calls me.
Okay, so what's the problem?
I think he's broke. Shit, shoot.
Well, yeah, uh, okay, well, here's the thing, here's the thing, okay, uh, what, what gives you the impression that he's broke? Does he work?
Work?
So he works. He, he said he sells houses, uh, or he rent houses.
Okay.
He, he works, but at the same time he doesn't really have money because it's been days. Like, his daughter's birthday was like a couple of months ago.
Okay.
And he's like, I don't know what I'm gonna do. So I'm just like, shit, I'm gonna send you some money. So I sent him like $30, you know. He was very grateful and appreciative in his He made his daughter call me and say thank you and all of that. Like, he's very appreciative. I mean, he's mad at me right now because last night he's always asking me, where are you? Who at home with you?
Who at home?
So last night I kind of— I told him I was going over my boyfriend's house and he got mad, so he ain't talking to me.
Okay, so how much you spend to send $30?
Oh, I Western Unioned it, so I think I spent $5.99.
No, you got to spend at least $25.
Uh-uh, they didn't do me like that. I mean, I'm too cheap.
Okay, so here's the thing. Yes, he's broke, okay? Um, however, I mean, but you already knew that, okay? But he is being honest with you. Now, I don't know how far that honesty is going. Is he trying to get to the US, or is he trying to get you to come to Nigeria?
He wants me to come there.
Okay, because here's the thing, if you do move over there, y'all will be rich, um, because the money goes a long way. The dollar goes a long way. So that $30 you sent him, boy, they set for the month. Okay, listen, um, are you serious? Yes, girl, yes, absolutely. So when I send him $100, Cassette made a taxi driver Wasn't a taxi driver a millionaire by giving him $5,000?
So I gave him $100 one time.
Yeah, that's a lot of money.
That is a lot of money. Okay, so, um, so you like him?
I do.
I, I actually do. He— I do. I like him.
So why don't you go see him?
Because why I got to spend my money? You the man.
He can't afford to come get you up over there, girl. That money— that was my point. Okay, so, right, okay, so I'm saying, so what are you doing then?
I was trying to go visit him and then I got an attitude because I was just like, shit, why I gotta spend my money? That's like $2,000 to come see you, plus I gotta have spending money, plus I gotta catch a flight. Like, no, I don't want to spend all my money.
Expensive. It's quite expensive.
I don't want to do that.
So you just got to find somebody else in Nigeria with some money, period.
Because I want me— I want me a Nigerian.
I love the way you got to be Nigerian. Why he can't be Liberian or South African or Ghanaian?
I wouldn't care who he is as long as he from Africa with that sexy ass sound, that voice, and that body, and the way they wind and twine it up. That's what I want. I want that twirl they be doing. Oh Lord Jesus, you know the twirl, Tasha.
I know. Okay, I got you, baby, I got you. All right, well listen, good luck to you.
And, uh, you never tell me when you be in Phoenix. Oh, July—
what'd you say? July 18th at Stand Up Live.
I'm getting my ticket ASAP.
All right, it's already on the website, right? It's on their website. Okay, so you can go to standuplive.com. We got to update our website.
You said I should just get me a new man, let it go.
Yeah, baby, you wasting your time.
We ain't getting no dick.
So why you gonna entertain somebody for 2 years and you ain't gonna go see him and get no dick, girl? You gotta— there's got to be reciprocation. And when you get there, he better have a house with a compound and a guard to open the— to open the gate and all stuff. House girls to clean and cook, but I have all that. But at your age, I'm gonna be honest with you, they about either divorced, broke, but if they got some money, you probably gonna be a third wife.
I'm cool.
Okay, baby.
Thanks.
All right, bye.

Recently— okay, so a guy I've known for some years now recently crossed his paths with me. We met up, we met up after that and talked, and he told me he was in a relationship, but over. His stuff is still there though, and he's still staying at his cousin's house. He has stayed here a few times, but I told him I'd rather deal with him when he's completely single. Although he seems to be really single, to be really single, you never know. And I'd rather not have someone who I'm with clones still— oh, clothes still at an ex's house. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing because he tells me I just want to argue and be upset for nothing. He tells me I'm doing him dirty because I haven't answered his calls for like 3 weeks. I just feel like I'm in a space where I don't need someone else's baggage right now. I'm 24 with my own place and he's 35. That last sentence did it for me. That last sentence did it for me. Whoever wrote in, I know you're listening, but the fact that you said you're 24 with your own place and he's 35 living with his his cousin.
That's all you need to know.
That's it. Done. You doing the right thing, baby.
