And so not only do you get advice from me, but you also get advice, uh, from the viewers, uh, in the, uh, chat as well, which are the winos, okay? So I know I look a little discombobulated. I'm a little tired. Like I said, you know, fasting is very hard, especially when you fast and you work out. So I did a very, very intense, what do you call it, like a sprinting session today. You know what I'm saying? 'Cause I've been lazy on my cardio, but now I'm back into doing this since my joints and ligaments is doing good now. But, and so the sprint was very intense and you know, it's hot outside. And so I did 10 seconds on, a minute and a half walk, 10 seconds on, a minute and a half on. And I did that for 12 times at the highest speed that I could with no food. Okay. Just my sea moss vitamins that we'll talk about at the end of the show. And of course, my olive leaf to help cleanse out my digestive tract and all that. So, yeah, I'm a little discombobulated because, you know, fasting is very intense and my body is like, you know, what are we going to eat? You're going to eat the fat. You're going to eat the back rolls. Yeah, that's what you're going to eat. All right. And then get, uh, give other winos some time to get in, then we're going to go ahead and get started with the first question. Okay, let's go. Jasmine said 2 seconds. Hold on, y'all, hold on. But anyway, what y'all cooking? I know y'all cooking dinner. I already had to cook. It's hard fasting and cooking. Oh my God, then you smell everybody else food too. You ready? All right, let's go. Some, uh, sponsors we need to brag about, which means Boley raise a glass too. Let's go. Without you, I got— I don't know where you be either.
That's not a—
that's— An eviction notice? What the hell? Okay, so I'm the source of all of our problems or something? I've been here less than 5 minutes and problem. Where's Malcolm? Malcolm, where's my money? I have noticed you're behind on the rent. Is there anything I can do to lighten the load?
Lighten the load? I'm calling to let you know that you are out of line.
Check your Cash App.
What?
You're not gonna do it, are you?
Tonya. I'm for jokes, Keith. Malcolm, I need my money.
It's a big one for me.
AJ, you can't say it like that.
How big is the shower?
He's inspired by Kai. Oh my gosh, AJ is my mom's attorney now. Should we pull up? Fucking Ray J. When I came home from jail, bro, right when I got out on Twitch, right when they let me out, just shaved it too, but not like 2 bands. And Deshae is the one who got me big. Welcome to the stream. I don't want to have to teach you everything.
I got to sit down and teach you everything.
Look, I'm happy to have everybody here. Thank you for coming. It's going to keep getting better and better. I know they thought that it was going to be worse, but it's only getting better.
I want to get invited.
No, we going to do our own shower stream and we going to invite 30 of the baddest of the baddest.
We not going to be doing those people. And I'm not inviting none of the people that I invited at first because they thought it was gonna be me.
No, Kai, you're not invited.
Subscribe to my shit and watch me turn shit to gold.
What brings you in, Travis? Say something to me. I'm sorry. Better question. What are you going through? We're not fucking Travis.
So what do you do for sex? It's called life.
Life?
Oh, wife. What's up, T? I can't find any groundbreaking stories. This stuff is like Groundhog Day. Nothing new has came up.
I do have a few.
When we start the show, keep it clear.
Okay, but you know the rumors out there, right?
I don't give a damn about the rumors.
About Shorty.
Can't anything be traced back to you? I mean, I do help with little things here and there. Like what? What, you paying her rent?
Look at it this way.
We are getting older and not so attractive. More so you than me. What better way than to pull the wool over your eyes than sex? So what the fuck happened again? A bitch set me up with a trans and I didn't even know it. Oh Lord Jesus. So is it true? The blogs and their unending desire to ruin our relationship.
So why is there a picture of you with some bitch in a hair salon, Travis?
I said I'm gonna go in the clay room. Now mind you, when I'm in this clay room, I said if this nigga come in here in the next 2 minutes, Dress. What? Fully dressed. Telling me to go. He's gay. Is this true? How you gonna ask me something like that? Everybody talks to somebody. All right, and we're back. Okay, we already got people waiting backstage. I'm sorry, guys, them earrings were getting on my nerves. Um, all right, so to the wino as well as entrepreneur that sent me this, hold on for a second. Okay. All right, so to the wino and the entrepreneur that sent me this, this shirt, she sent me two. Thank you. Okay, it says, of course, Tasha K Live, then it's got a picture of me from one of my shows. And then it says everything's allegedly, even my name is allegedly. Thank you. I love it. I'm gonna wear the yellow one today and then the purple one on my next show, of course. And this was sent to me by— and I was just asking Jasmine how to say it because I didn't know if it was chic-ay, but it says Chic Naturalista Boutique, okay? And so you guys can follow her on Facebook. You can also follow her on TikTok, okay? She doesn't have an Instagram, it looks like, okay? And, uh, yeah, thank you so much for the shirt. You know I love shirts now. I'm gonna wear them, that's for sure, okay? All right, let's go ahead and get started. I guess we'll start with a video call today, and then we'll, we'll move to the question— to the written questions. Don't forget, guys, to write in, or you can hit the link, ask your question. Anything but celebrity gossip, you can ask questions on business as well too. Um, and yeah, so we're gonna go ahead and get started. Remember, unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. They are coming live right now to my phone. Please put in the headline whether or not you want to be anonymous or not. Okay, say that again. Okay, and we're gonna grab, uh, questions out the chat, so you can put your questions in the chat as well. Okay, all right, so let's go ahead and get started with the first one. Oh, who? Phoenix. How you doing, Phoenix?
Hey, Tasha, how you doing?
Fantastic. Where you calling from? Phoenix?
I'm calling from Florida.
Oh, okay. Where you calling from? Phoenix, Arizona?
No, I'm calling from Florida.
Okay, all right. Shout out to Florida. What part of Florida? North Florida? Central Florida? South Florida?
North Florida.
Oh, okay. So you, you my neck of the woods. All right, cool. So, um, what's your question for us today?
Okay, so my question, Tasha, is more so business, right?
Yes.
So I had— I was trying to open up a beauty supply store, okay, with a company called Beauty Supply Institute in Georgia.
Have you heard of them?
Ran by Professor Devin Robinson.
Okay, Beauty Supply. So I guess he's a mentor.
He, he's supposed to be a mentor. He's supposed to assist you with opening up beauty supply stores. Basically, he's a scammer, come to find out.
Okay, so, so basically he positioned himself as a consultant to kind of help you streamline to be able to open up a beauty supply store since I guess the Chinese had it on lock for so many years.
Correct. And so basically he, he has like a— he has a conference that you go to in Atlanta. We— okay, so let me just give you the rundown. So he has packages that he offers where he helps you open up a beauty supply store. So the starting fee is $25,000. That you have to pay up front before you will even get started.
Why? Cut the cap.
No, this ain't no cap, baby.
First of all, he got niggas down there paying $25K to get information on how to start the store. That's not even—
so the $25,000, it also go towards your package. So it's like your down payment. So what is included in the package is, so you have to do business courses, which take about a year or so to go through the business courses that he offers. Then he also supposed to help you with getting your building, starting your business plan, also with product as well. So he has a conference that you go to down in Georgia, and he has these conferences in different states. So this is not just in Atlanta, he's doing this in different states, coast to coast, of all 50 states. So he has a conference down in Georgia. So you, you go down to the conference, it's like a 2-day conference. And during the conference, he explains to everybody, you know, the process of what you got to go through. We even, we even take a visit to the Chinese stores, to the Asian suppliers and manufacturers in Georgia. So this is like an elaborate scheme that this man has going on. So he takes you to the, to the manufacturers and everything, you know, the distributors where you're going to get your products from. And you meet, you meet the people that own the store and everything. And you know, like, like I said, it's a 2-day conference. Okay, so once you do the conference, you take your business classes. So then at that point, they've already sent you your business plan. You've already discussed what you want. So he has different packages. So one package could be if you already own a beauty supply store, let's say you struggling, so they'll help you with that. The other package could be you want to open up a beauty supply store and that's it. The other package could be— excuse me— you want to open up a beauty supply store and a salon. Inside of the beauty supply store. So these are all the different packages that he offered, and they're all priced at different prices, right? So the package that I, that I got— because, you know, I, I went to cosmetology school, I'm in cosmetology, but I prefer— I don't, I don't really care to do hair. It's more so I just, I'd rather own a beauty supply store, you know, which makes more sense. Okay, anyways, um, I got the package with the beauty supply store as well as I was gonna do the salon as well because I braid hair. So I was going to braid hair in my store as well, as well as run the store. So I went through my classes.
It's time for—
no, now we at the stage of, okay, it's time for you to start, you know, setting up manufacturers for me to go out and get my building. I completed my courses. You got my $25,000, plus I gave you an additional $6,000 because I upgraded my package to get the salon added to my package. So I almost gave you $30,000. Then on top of that, you had to run our credit.
So the—
what it is, is, so say for instance, if you don't have the money to— if you don't have all the money to put down to get your, um, they call it a holding fee is what he calls it. He wants you to give him money for the holding fee for him to order all your products from distributor. That way he orders all the products from distributor and then he sends the products to your store, right?
So you get all your products for him. Okay, go ahead. So what happened in your case?
I got scammed right along with everybody else.
I got—
yeah, when it was time— when it was time for me to get to the point of— go ahead, babe, I'm sorry.
Sounds like we got a documentary to do, Jasmine.
Okay.
And I'm not the only one he's scammed. It's, it's probably about maybe— I want to say about 50 of us.
He's been on the news.
They've done several news stories on this man. I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Attorney General along with everybody else.
You have no store. You have no store.
I have no store. I have no money. This man has changed his phone number, cut his phone numbers off. Nobody can get in contact with him. Again, like I say, the, the US Attorney General is involved in Georgia, so they're investigating him as well. Myself, as like I say, he scammed me. He scammed several other people. Some people have actual stores that they've opened with no product.
How is that? Okay, all right, so listen, this sounds like a documentary piece. Um, that we would need to put together, uh, because I hate it. I like this— this makes my skin boil.
And not to interrupt you, just to throw this in there, all of us have had to file for bankruptcy. I'm going through bankruptcy right now, and guess who's my bankruptcy attorney?
Chad.
Chad.
Okay, okay. Um, shout out to Chad, appreciate that. Um, all right, so what, what is your question? What do you want to know?
You lived in Georgia. I need an attorney that I can get in contact with because I live in Florida, so I have to have an attorney in Georgia. And everybody that I've tried to contact, they're all like— they all got clients already that are trying to do this, man.
So you need somebody to put together like a lawsuit against him or something?
Pretty much, because it's like, we need— we either need a class action lawsuit, because every attorney that I've tried to contact, they straight up and down told me that they either already have a client so they're not able to take on my case. Or I've had some attorneys tell me, they was like, you probably ain't even gonna get your money back, ma'am, because so many people are suing this man, it's ridiculous.
So let me, let me, let me talk to you for a second. Let me talk to you, okay? Because I could hear the passion. And, um, have you owned a business before?
No, this was my first business. This is going to be my first business. So I took whatever I had, which I have nothing now, and, um Don't, don't say that.
Don't, don't say you don't have nothing because you have more than what a lot of people have. I'm sure you still have a roof over your, your head. I'm sure you still have a car, you have food, and you have income coming in, correct?
Yes. Yeah, but now I'm— see, I'm gonna start crying.
I don't want to do that. Don't cry. You're trapped in the emotion of it all, of what everything— like, it was kind of like you're looking at this like, wow, this is gonna be it, right?
Yeah, I was proud because I'm Black and I'm doing something for us that we're supposed to be able to own, and this—
and a Black man is the one that did this to me. Get your breath together. Hold on, take it, get it out, get it out. Crying is good, I ain't gonna lie. Crying— I just did a whole cry therapy 2 weeks ago in Tulum, and I cried until I couldn't cry no more, and I felt free, and I I don't even know what the hell I was crying for. I think I had tears from 10, 15 years ago. I don't know. Get it out, get it out. Cry, cry, cry, because I'm gonna talk to you, and I'm gonna talk to you like I would talk to my sister, like I talk to myself, okay? Because I've lost a lot of money in business. A lot, okay? But it shouldn't discourage you at all, because your intentions are to be you know, in charge of you, somewhat financially free, somewhat, you know, you being able to innovate and call the shots and the plan. Let me tell you something, in business, the plan is the plan. Okay? You owning a beauty supply store is not over. Bankruptcy does not mean your business is over. The plan is still the plan. And I know this is probably gonna sting coming from me right now, but I'm kind of— in business, we get burnt. I had a lady in Atlanta take me for $90K, okay, in my face, right? Um, and you think about, like, you know, it's not easy making $90,000 cash, right? That's not That's not easy. That's your savings. That's this, that's that. But like the knowledge that I got from that didn't stop me from pursuing my business endeavors. It actually made me more equipped, more stronger, and more tougher. And it actually influenced my intuition in ways where now I can sense when I need to like kind of back up, when things are too good to be true. This could potentially, like, you know, put me in a financial burden. You know, you're able to recognize certain personalities and, and characteristics when you're moving in business and all of this you got. But right now you're stuck in the get back phase. And if you— I'm going to be honest with you, look, look, you're going to do what you want to do. But I'm telling you, let me just put myself in your shoes for a second. This is not having what I have. This is what I have, what I have. I'm talking about both ends of the spectrum, having and not having. If I were you, it costs money to get a lawyer.
Yeah, and I, and I sure don't have nothing because he didn't took all of it.
Okay, it costs money to chase down money, right? It costs time, it costs energy. And if you go, say for instance, the energy you're trying to you know, pursue is this way, but you're going this way to go try to fix an issue that's already dead. You got to go this way because this is already a loss. It's gone. It's not coming back. It's a tough pill to swallow. I swear to God it is. Does it suck? It does. That's why I said cry, kick, scream, punch. But then when you start to come back and you're tired of the, you know, to kind of get around the emotional turmoil of it all, you need to get back in the game because you can still own a beauty supply store.
And I don't even know how that's possible though. He's like, how do you start over when all the money that you did have is gone? So how did you— now just going to work to pay bills, back, back, it's like back, back to the place that you tried to escape from.
And I've been there 3 times. I've been there 3 times. How did you— how did you get the $25K, the actually the $30K+ that you got?
My credit. I had good credit. I worked hard. Between my credit and money that I already had saved up— and I'm married as well— so between my credit and money that I already had saved up, I utilized everything that I had between me and my husband to start this business.
So my husband and I have been in your position. We've used credit, we've cash that we saved up, we've used money that we made from businesses, still wound it up in bankruptcy with almost $300,000 worth of debt. We came out of that, started another business, that business didn't go well. It wasn't until this business is that it, is that it made it, you know what I'm saying? And so like, you cannot like these lessons, like there's, there's lessons in the suffering. I swear to God, bro, like, without— you can't learn this at no business school. You can't learn this from nobody. You got to learn it walking through it. And this is something that every business owner goes through, is this right here. Because whether you had it been taken on the back end or on the front end, you still would have ended up losing money. And I felt like Maybe, um, you know, how old are you, if you don't mind me asking? I know you can ask.
I'm 42.
Okay, girl, girl, you gotta— you gotta— wow. Okay, um, you did it before, you could do it again, and this time you're gonna do it even better. You're gonna do it smarter. I can tell you right now, um, and I'm gonna give you a solution. You can own a beauty supply store online. You can run your beauty supply store through Amazon.
You're right, but the main— not to cut you off, I do apologize— but the main reason why I wanted a brick and mortar, because where I live at now there isn't one. So, okay, because where I live at now, I moved out of the city, so the part that I live at now is— it's a lot of African-American people, but we have to drive to—
perfect—
St. Pete, Orlando. So that's the main reason why I wanted to do brick and mortar.
Perfect. So you're going to study your demographic and you're going to get the products that they need, okay? Products that if they can get them in a, in in the dollar store, don't worry about them. Okay, those are just kind of sub-products. We like to call those filler products when you're dealing with retail and things like that. So right now you're going to see what the need is. If the need is hair, you're going to sell hair. You can do hair either through Amazon, or you can do hair out of a food truck, like truck. Did you know that? Yes. Okay. Um, or you can do what they call it, like, um, exclusive safe type hair sales where you do it as if you're like an Avon retailer where you go to somebody's house, you take your hair, and you sell the hair. Once you generate profit from there, and I'm always kind of like a, I believe in grassroots first before you go to the brick and mortar because the brick and mortar, you got to have foot traffic in order to keep that going. Because once you would open that store, ain't no telling how much that rent would have been. Ain't no telling which attack you just did. The numbers already kind of seemed funny from from the gate. And I promise you, like, I'm opening myself up to people such as yourself so that you don't wind up in situations like this, because it burns me when people take advantage of other people, especially when it's like your hard-earned money. But I feel that this type of business has to be grassroots from you. And being that you do have a large African-American community that doesn't have access to certain products, then guess what? You're selling products out of your garage. You're selling products out of a truck. Once you get a steady flow of that and being on the phone at night with vendors in China to get stuff, or even leveraging the online part, whereas you can dropship products just by linking them to an Amazon store and letting people know in your neighborhood by just doing, you know, door to door. Hey girl, if you need this, you either need me to show up with some products, you can order a few, keep them in your garage, you know what I'm saying? Or you can have them go to your site and order the products and boom, they'll have them in 24 hours or less so that they don't have to drive. You start making it a convenience. And then, like, you know, and I'm sorry, an inconvenience. You know the word I was looking for?
I know it too.
You start making it real easy for them. But there are different ways that you can get into this. And I promise you, after you're done, you're doing, you're doing a Chapter 7? Yes. Love it. Love it. Love it. Once you do a Chapter 7, you can go to Discover. You can go to Capital One with $200. Of your own money, and you can get a secure credit card. You're going to put $30 worth of gas on that every month, and then you're going to pay that $30 off before the new pay cycle, okay? And then once you do that for 3 to 6 months, they're going to turn that card into an unsecured card. Then they're going to start adding money every time. The difference is, in order to get your credit back up where you need it to be, you're gonna have to pay off the full balance, which means like before— you're not gonna ride it where it's like $15. You know how to run credit, $15 a month, $20 a month. You pay it off, and so you're building your credit at the same time. But I can tell you right now, you can start a business right now using your Social Security number without having to get an LLC and all that stuff, and run it through your Social Security number by dropshipping hair, or either ordering— taking a little bit of money that you got from your check, ordering some products that you know your, your community needs, and going door to door to let them know, hey, instead of driving, stop by my house to get them. I can come to you, you know what I'm saying? You can come to me, tell me what you need, I'll order it for you and I'll deliver it right to your door. Before you know it, you got a concierge service of beauty supply like your own Amazon. But you're doing all of that, that footwork for them. Before you know it, you have a brick and mortar. That's the last phase. The last phase. You don't go right into a brick and mortar because what happens in Chinese families and Asian families, everybody in the family is putting into that business. Business. So they got about 10 people that own it, even with the Arabs and stuff like that, the Middle Easterns, like everybody owns it. So their family money is going into it, whereas it's just you and your husband. You don't have a community of different people that's going to help you go in and order $1 million worth of product, set it up in a store and set it up in a shop and market it. You don't have that. So you have to start pretty much from the bottom and work yourself up. Before you know it, you may be a person that just carries hair, a few exclusive products, and then you got your salon suite. You can do a salon suite, you could sell products out of a salon suite for a couple hundred dollars. So don't, don't check out. I need you focused. But the more you're— it takes more energy to, to, to follow energy that is like done you wrong than it takes to put energy into innovating something.
And so I mean, I definitely agree, but I, but I, because of the situation, I checked out of the hair store, and I'm mostly just focused on my garden now.
I wouldn't do it because there's knowledge that you have now that's going to help you to be even better. Imagine if I would have checked out radio and TV years ago when I failed, you know, the first two times. You're right. I learned and I just perfected my craft and got better at it. Okay, so you're not out of the game. Shout out to Chad, but Chad's even gonna tell you, shoot, free start now, girl. Go get your credit and start your business. Okay. All right, no problem, no problem. When my, uh, my school, my little core school open up and it's not gonna be no thousands of dollars, ain't even gonna be no hundreds of dollars. Oh my God. Like, well, if you do want to do a documentary on Devin Robinson, just by all means, please email me his information, please.
Oh, I definitely will. I will email you with all the information that you All right, no problem.
Thank you so much, and I wish you the best. Okay, thank you.
Appreciate you.
Anytime. All right, so, um, I got a question written in. Remember, guys, if you want to be a part of happy hour, please hit the link, or you could drop your question in the chat. Jasmine's going to send them to my phone, or you could email me via unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. Uh, somebody just asked me, uh, a couple days ago, matter of fact, they say, hey girl, uh, hey homegirl here in Pensacola, my question is, whatever happened, Tasha, With your decision to have breast reduction surgery, did you change your mind? You look amazing no matter what, but I totally understand the struggle because my breast surgery was the best decision I ever made. I'd like to remain anonymous. No problem. Love you too. It's just a matter of just making time for it. That's all. I just haven't had time. And when I do get the time, it's going to get done. Believe me, it's going to get done. Okay. Another question from a whino that wrote in. Hold on, hold on, hold on. She goes, Hi Tasha, hope all is well. Please keep me anonymous. I will. Okay, um, she says, hi, I have been with my boyfriend of 4 years. I've been with my boyfriend of 4 years and he has not kept steady employment. Reading glasses. Okay, um, he'll start a job and quit within a day or a week, or do Uber, Lyft sporadically with my car because he doesn't have one. It's just, this reminds me of a Tyler Perry movie. Within the first 15-20 minutes, everything that could have happened that's tragic to a Black woman has happened. Okay, why knows, we need your help on these questions as well too. Okay, um, we're not here to judge, we're not here to judge. Okay, um, this has caused a mental and emotional strain on me and the relationship. He has a kid who is here who is— who is not there. Okay, he has a kid who he is not there for financially, physically, because he doesn't live close, in another state. He's 31, I'm 25. He also has depression, so I try to assist with that, but I am, I am no professional. I know it would be in my best interest to break up, but he would have nowhere to go, and I feel bad about that. Any advice, please? Okay, so guys, we have to remind ourselves we were 25 once. This is a 25-year-old, uh, young lady, okay? And, uh, she is severely either digmatized or just, I don't know. Um, and so thank you so much for writing in. I appreciate you. Um, you don't— here's, here's what I'mma say. You don't have to feel bad about leave— like him not having a place to stay, because you can leave. You can leave. I've done that before, way, way, way in the past, before I met my husband. You know, met a dude when he wasn't working. We had an apartment together, you know what I'm saying? And I remember he would not leave, wouldn't pay no bills, wouldn't do nothing. Um, and And this happened maybe, I want to say, 6 months into us living together. He just got too comfortable, you know what I'm saying? I was always the type of person to work 2 jobs, you know what I'm saying? And then he started making up these excuses. And so I personally just left. I left the lease, I left everything, even though my name was on the lease. And, uh, I started over. Leave. He'll figure it out. He 31. He's got way more years on you, way more age. And, uh, this is not for you to, uh to try to fix. If he ain't got it fixed at 31, he ain't gonna never fix it. And the simple fact that he has a kid that he's not financially or physically there for, then he damn sure ain't gonna be there for you physically and financially. So baby girl, just get your shit and leave peacefully. Go stay with your mama, go stay anywhere you can go stay and pay your rent, pay whoever you stay with until you get established, and try to get in and try to get another apartment real fast before the eviction hits your credit. So you probably gotta buy 4, 5 months before that eviction hits your credit. And even if they put the whole apartment under on your credit, just pay it off. You can work it out, you know what I'm saying, with NCC. That's probably about who's gonna get it, is National Credit Collections. And you can, um, you know, I'm saying, negotiate because they buy the debt for a cheaper price, and you can pay them in installments and clean your credit back up. And boom, before you know it, um, yeah, it's gone. Or you can just move from an apartment to a house. You don't even have to go through getting apply for, you know, applying for, uh, apartments no more, baby girl. Get your shit and go. All right, who's next? Jasmine, video. Valerie Beverly. Beverly, unmute yourself, baby.
Hey, hey, do you hear me?
I can. Where you calling from, Miss Beverly?
Hey, okay, so Tasha, can you hear me?
Yes.
Okay, so my question is, if somebody is, um, a trans— if, say, if somebody was, um, a lesbian, okay, before, like, they were lesbian, they only had, like, intercourse with women, all their experiences are with women, and then and they are a trans man now. They got their breasts removed, they got the, um, penis put on. Can I say penis? They got the penis put on, um, and now they're only involved with men. What do you think that means?
Wait a minute, so they're having homosexual sex?
Technically, yeah. Now that they're a trans man, it would be— it would technically be called, yeah, straight.
So they're putting their, I guess, their GMO, you know—
yes, yes, they're putting their GMO penis in booty holes and now?
What— why are you asking this question? Is you having a debate with a friend or something? I'm just, I'm just trying to figure it out. You know, it is Pride Month, so I got to tread, uh, lightly here. But, um, what's, what's the reason for the question? You mind giving me just a little bit of backstory?
Um, I mean, I don't want to It's, it's somebody I know.
Okay, and y'all having an argument about the, the true sexuality of the person?
Okay, well, one time we were out and he was like, would you have sex with him? And the person that they pointed out shared their phenotype, so I'm like, are you trying to gauge if I would do anything with you? And if you had the opportunity, would you? Or are you actually attracted to the men now? Because you could have been attracted to the men as a woman, but you turned into a man to now be exclusive with men. But I don't know if the exclusivity with men is because you can't get a woman or because you truly like men now.
So is this person trying to date you?
At one point I thought maybe, but now I don't think so.
Okay, so I guess what's the relevance of the question? Like, how is it going to impact you? Because it sounds like you're calling in about somebody else and they have Obviously they're, you know—
oh, okay, so that's what it is, pansexual. Okay, that's what it's called then.
Okay, it seems like they are attracted to the person. It doesn't necessarily have to be male or female, it could be all three, you know. So, um, but for you, I mean, is this person like into you and you're, you're confused about what this person really is?
Yeah. And who is this? Reborn? Uh, I don't need to ask ChatGPT nothing. I'm asking Tasha.
To?
Oh, okay.
Um, all right, so this person is more so on the pansexual line, which means there's a spectrum in terms of how they're viewing sexuality and gender, especially since the Y chromosome has been deleted from a lot of men been lately here scientifically. I don't know how that happened, but there's a deletion. Okay, um, so men are definitely more feminine than before, and, you know, women are way more masculine than they were. It's a lot of, you know, this reprogramming going on here. And, um, for this person, I would say— I mean, are you attracted to this person?
No.
Okay. So then it's not an issue. It shouldn't matter if he or she hits on you, right?
Well, if we're— well, we were good friends at a point, then I don't want to feel like uncomfortable going forward with the, with the friendship if there's like some underlying attraction there.
I don't feel like this person is really attracted to you. I just probably feel like maybe with the hormones that they're on And taking a lot of testosterone does increase, whether it's in women or men, the libido, the drive. And so you're going to notice men with more testosterone than, you know, some men typically can just look at a doorknob and sleep with it. You know what I'm saying? Those are kind of one of the side effects from it. And so being that your friend has just recently undergone such a hormonal emotional shift, it may be that, you know, women don't do it for her or him anymore. It's more so about the being able to— testosterone. It's just, it's the hormonal, it's the hormonal shit. But for you, I think you should just have a conversation with your friend and be like, yo, look, I don't want to ruin nothing we got going on. So either we cool or we not. And leave all that other shit for all the other people that you sleep with. But I definitely don't want any of that, um, you know, just, you know, around me and to ruin our friendship.
Okay.
Yeah, just be straight up. Yo, hell no, I ain't with that shit. You confused anyways. Fuck that. You know what I'm saying? That's your friend. You should be able to just be real, you know? Okay. All right. Because if you do sleep together, it will ruin your relationship.
We're not going to, Tasha.
I'm just saying, if you did it would definitely ruin things.
All right, okay, okay.
All right, no problem. Thanks so much, appreciate you.
And Tasha, before— Tasha, yeah, the information that you gave the caller about the beauty store, um, that was amazing. So thank you, that really helped me out too.
So anytime, anytime. I just like to get people on the, you know, on the right track. I know it's easy to be stuck in muddy waters and murky shit. It's like, ah, use that energy to continue to build and learn from it. So Yeah, but thank you so much. I appreciate you, and thank you for being vulnerable enough to call in and ask the question. That took courage, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, absolutely.
Okay, all right, bye-bye.
All right, bye-bye. All right, after the break, guys, we're gonna take more questions. We're gonna take some questions from the chat, we're gonna take some questions from the email unwindwithtashakay@gmail.com, and we're definitely going to take, uh, some video questions that we have, uh, with winos that are waiting patiently backstage. Okay, we got some sponsors we need to brag about, which means boldly raise a glass too. We'll be right back with Go.
Student loan discharges in bankruptcy. Most people will tell you it's impossible. Even bankruptcy attorneys will tell you that. But guess what? We just got 2 discharged a few weeks ago, and we're going to get a lot more. So if you're struggling with your student loans, you may be able to discharge those through bankruptcy. So just give me a call and let's figure it out.
We got this invite from this woman who thinks her husband is possessed by demons. I'm not sure about this one, y'all. Are you kidding? When the last time we covered a story like this? Diane Johnson's cabin. I'm so relieved you guys accepted my invitation to come. Something to drink? Maybe some tea or coffee? I would do wine, Miss Diane. I know how you like your wine, but I need you fully alert for the story I'm about to burden you with.
You're the chosen one.
God came to me in my dreams and revealed it all. I don't know about this, guys. Like, performing exorcism on this lady husband just because she feels like he's possessed. This is messed up.
This is a real life event that we happen to have the exclusive.
Yes, Tasha, we got to help her.
I said we could do a family vacation, all of us, all—
and we would all be dead right now. For this to work, you must have all skepticism out your mind. Robert, I know the real you is trapped that. We're going to free you tonight. All right, and we're back. And don't forget, guys, all of those movies are streaming live right now on TashaKLive.com if you're a paid member, and Tubi, okay? So you can watch them either way. And don't forget, guys, we're sponsored in part by the Sugar Case, some of my favorite, favorite body oils, Okay, you guys are ordering these by the boatloads. I don't even think sometimes she can keep up with the, with the amount of orders. Okay, and so this one is Georgia Peach. I have this one on today. I usually put them on when I get out the shower and I just kind of let them just kind of roll and I massage them into my body and stuff like that. Uh, you can get them on my site, uh, shoptkdeals.com. Use the coupon code TK10, okay, to let her know that I sent you. All right, all right, so, uh, we're taking a Is it a chat question? Let me see. Okay, hold on for a second. All right, so let me go back to the questions that we didn't get a chance to answer last week. Hope y'all enjoying this show. All right, so hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Hi Tasha! Of course she said she would like to stay anonymous. I know that God had me to see this show tonight. I was contemplating writing about my mom. Then you opened up about your mom. I thought I was the only one. I am number 7 of 7. Okay, I was an unwanted pregnancy and I felt it growing up from her. I love my dad for showing me love or I would just have been messed up, but just knowing that she didn't want me is sad. Thank you for sharing because today was a rough day, but I pray a lot and I ride the wave when it comes. Okay. I don't think your mama didn't want you. I mean, if she didn't want you, she wouldn't have had you, you know. It's just you got to put yourself in, you know, anybody with one child, two children, seven, the mama gotta have just a little bit of grace, just a little bit, okay. So, uh, moving on, let me take another question here. Okay, happy hour question. Um, I need your opinion on something, Tasha. I'm interested in potentially dating an I think I read this one. I think I screenshot— oh yeah, hold on for a second. Yeah, we read that one. Okay, let me delete that one. Um, that's a tip on a deal, child. Hold on, let me make sure I got all the questions from last week. Okay, um, read as anonymous. So this is another anonymous question. Hey Tasha, I paid $5,000 for a mentor named, uh, Jonathan Drummond to teach me about the business this funding sector on Easter Sunday, April 20th. Okay, shit. And he has evaded all my calls. When he texts back, he says he'll call me back but never does. So today I talked to him after texting him and calling him with no response. I signed a contract with him. However, he doesn't— he hasn't done anything so far as mentoring me about the business. I reported him to Cash App about getting my $5,000 back, but they rejected my claim. Who do I need to report? Who do I need to report him to? Mind you, he is a member of the American Banking Association and has successfully closed over $100 million with them. However, he took my money in good faith as a trusted private banker but has failed to guide me. I really need to know how I can get my money back out of him and get him discredited so he can't scam anyone else. Oh my God, y'all are getting on. Let me just say this. I've known a lot— I know a lot of people that have businesses. I know a lot of people that start businesses. I have started businesses myself. Part of the— part of one of the reasons why we are behind the scenes, and I didn't want to reveal this yet, putting together just a course, because I get asked so many times to mentor, to do this, to show you the ropes. And guys, I have never once paid a mentor when information is readily available to you via ChatGPT or Google, or going to YouTube and researching people who have done similar things in your field and learn from them. I think we think having a mentor, someone is supposed to like hold our hand, kind of go through all the hard stuff that we personally need to go through in order to leverage your business and be a better business person. Y'all gotta stop. Y'all have to stop. Then you have to ask yourself too, because a lot of times when people have businesses, half the time they don't even own a business. Like, they're, they're good at teaching That case, you might as well go to school for it. But a lot of us, you know, we don't want to. And I personally feel like my husband has a business degree, you know what I'm saying? I took business courses and stuff like that. But the stuff that we actually learn in business, we don't learn it until we're in it. Like, there's no school that would teach me what I know. And for you to pay somebody $5,000 via cash Cash App. Knowing Cash App don't give refunds, neither does PayPal. Y'all have got to be— y'all have just got to be more mindful of— here's how I've always looked at it. Let me just cut the shit. I pay this person $5,000, I pay this person $25,000 that I could truly put towards my own business, and I can get the knowledge for free on YouTube or Google. And for those of y'all that need, let's just say, mentorship or guidance from a general business perspective, and it's more so like a support group, like, you know, they used to have them a lot back in the day with the SBA, the Small Business Administration, where they, you know, they'll just kind of have meetups and things like that with other business professionals that can kind of help you and bounce off ideas. That's what really this course is going to be about. And it's going to be in the, in the tens, in the twenties, in the thirties, in the forties, in the fifties. It's not going to be in the hundreds. It's not going to be in the thousands. And you'll meet with me once a week. And you'll get material that you'll go over and consider and apply to your business. We'll breakout sessions where you guys will be able to Zoom me and ask me questions. I'll give you things to implement in your business and how to leverage your business and scale your business. We'll be doing it together, guys. And y'all just got to stop this shit. And as far as your $5,000, like, if he— did he use— okay, so there's a couple things you can do. You can file file a small business claims against him. That could cost you $50 to go to court and file a small business claim against him if you know where he works. Once you get the claim, you can garnish his check, and then you can report him to his business if he does in fact work for a bank and tell his job that he solicited you, he solicited you for services, used your business to leverage that service, and I did not get that service at all, and you're getting fired. But wait until you get the judgment first before you get him fired, okay? And this is something that you could easily do, um, you know, with $50 of your money and just a contract if you had a contract. And, uh, yeah, we take it from there. But y'all, y'all have got to stop this. Moving on, who's next? Hey Sierra, where you calling from?
Hey, Las Vegas!
Shout out to Vegas. It's hot out there and dry right now.
Oh my God, Sierra, it's 1:08 right now.
Oh my God, oh my God, I hate that. That's sticky. All right, so what's your question for today?
Um, I came out here from Peoria, Illinois. And, you know, my friend, you know, allowed me to stay with him and stuff like that.
Okay.
Ever since I've been here, it's been like completely like terror. It's been okay, horrible.
All right.
Like, it's like I was trying to escape something from leaving my hometown, and I come here, and then I'm trying to escape this, this crazy stuff. Okay, crazy stuff going on in Las Vegas. Just like, let me— you heard about the YouTubers being killed and stuff like that.
Okay.
And then the weather, it's like I didn't get no, no type of air. I thought I was gonna get some air coming here, like a breeze. No, no, not like a breeze. Like, like I thought I was gonna get some, some relief from people.
Okay, but you know, you get relief from people. Are you still living with your friend?
Yeah, I'm still, I'm still with him. I've been, I've been here for, um, almost 2 months, and I just got a job at a daycare. Okay, I'm thankful for that.
Um, why you ain't working in the casino? Casinos. Why should I work in the casinos? Uh, that's where the money is.
That is. And no lie, that's where the money at. But the thing is, there's so many people that done did wrong in daycares here.
It's Sin City. These people ain't right.
And I came here from Illinois and I'm seeing it. So it's like, like, did I come here?
So what's your question? What's your question?
So my question is, okay, so I have like, like, everybody knows I have this like empathic sense and stuff like that. And I told you, okay, all right, my family, like, I want to come back home because it feels like I just don't fit in here. Like Las Vegas just feels like I can't— I don't fit in here.
Okay.
Um, I don't know if I should go home. I don't know if I should go home or, or stay here. I'm 33.
You're 33? And so—
Yeah, I've been through some, some traumatic stuff. I'm sorry, y'all, I'm getting to the point, okay? I came here, I came here because I was getting out of some abusive stuff. So no, I'm not—
So here's my thing, and, and abusive stuff, you mean in relationships?
Yeah.
Okay. And, um, what did you do before you moved to Illinois while you was in, uh, I guess an abusive relationship?
Um, he locked me— he, he would lock me up in a— in his apartment.
So you didn't work?
No, he didn't want me to work.
And how long did this last?
This lasted for maybe 2 years.
Okay. And so what did you do before you met him?
Before I met him, I was a CNA.
Okay. So So what's up with you being a CNA now?
Um, well, now I'm trying to transfer everything here, so that's a process. And yeah, I do have low self-esteem, by the way.
Listen, hey, hey, hey, hey, mental health is mental health. I'm not saying that everybody is like getting on me in the comment section. Okay, all right, listen, focus, focus, focus on me here real quick. All right, um, so you're 33.
Questions? What is a dumb question?
Okay, so here's the thing, here's the thing. All right, so focus, winos. We're, we're here to help, okay? Not judge. All right, sometimes it takes us— sometimes as individuals it takes us a little longer to, to get things, okay? Then some people don't move as fast as we move. And so what I'm trying to figure out is, where was your life before you met the guy? How were you doing?
I was, I was, I was in a bad place. I had an ectopic pregnancy. Um, okay, and I ended up in the hospital.
Um, okay, but before that, before the ectopic pregnancy. What were you doing before that?
Before that, I was, um, I was going to school.
Um, did you finish school?
I'm still in school right now.
Okay, and where are you going to school at? Online?
Yes. Uh-huh.
You're going to the Medical Academy, so yeah, you want to pursue, um, a career in the medical world.
Yes, I want help? No, I want to help kids. And, um, I've been in foster care and stuff like that.
And, um, all right, so here's what I would tell you as a 33-year-old adult, okay? Um, I know you were in foster care, and I can't imagine what trauma that comes with. Um, and I know trying to get out here and make it, and people don't know what I've been through before that, so it's so crazy. I, I wouldn't even— I couldn't even imagine. I couldn't even imagine.
But I don't even know why I did this.
What do you mean why you did this? What do you, what do you mean?
Because these people are just being mean.
Okay, all right, listen, focus on me for a second. Focus on me. Winos, can y'all chill out just for a second, please? Please? Okay, Jasmine, let me know when they chill out in the chat. They chilled out. Okay, all right, so everybody chilled out. Okay, all right, so this is no judgment here. I appreciate you calling in. Nobody knows you, they can't see your face, but I know your emotions are on 10 right now. I'm never slow. I've never been slow. Okay, they said it was only one negative comment. That's what my producers are saying. They're saying it wasn't like a flood of comments. Comments. It was just one negative comment. Okay, all right, so we're back focused. Go ahead and get it out, finish crying, and let's talk. Okay, I don't know what the negative comment was. I can, I could, I could give two shits. I mean, I get negative comments all day, every day. I, I don't allow it to, to bother me. I know everyone is built different, but I want you to just focus here because it sounds like you are in a very vulnerable situation and you're easily, um, moved by certain things and that, and that causes you to not focus. Okay, and, um, the word of the day is focus. Okay, focus, that's the word of the day. When I think about everything, um, that we've talked about today, especially with the scammers and people giving money, it's the word of the day. The message of the day is to focus on you and not anyone else. Okay, focus on how to develop you. You do not need anyone to walk and hold your hand to help you to develop yourself. And it sounds like You, you are codependent. I am.
I know I am.
I know I am. Also, you're at an age where you can fix that. Yeah. And you're not, you're not a child in foster care anymore. Okay. All right, let me talk. Let me, let me talk. Okay. And I know I'm not, I'm not saying like everybody in the comments is like, she needs to go to therapy.
Like, I go to therapy.
Exactly. Okay, but as you're going to therapy, I feel that, you know, yes, therapy is needed. I don't know why they don't have more support for, for foster children, but obviously what you have gone through is easily bleeding into who you are as an adult, and you're 7 years from 14. And you move in to get away from a situation to go live somewhere, and now you're about to work at a daycare center, and, you know, you kind of are unsure, everything is bad. It's because if you look at the pattern of your life, you've always kind of stuck to someone to help you to get out of something instead of relying on yourself and educating yourself just as much as time you take to educate yourself on how to be a CNA or work in the medical field, that's as much time as we need to educate ourselves on how to be stable-minded people, self-sufficient people. So while you're working, while you're trying to get yourself together financially— financial, that's one part, but you should never mix your financial with your, your, with your emotions, like, and mental health, because that's two separate parts. Because if you don't have your finances together, if you don't work, you don't, you know, you don't eat, um, you can't support yourself. So that makes mental health worse. And so work needs to be what it is, and your mental health needs to be separate. Okay. And so do you have the resource? First of all, are you Um, are you medicated in any way?
Um, yes, I am. Um, I suffer from depression and anxiety, so I don't lie about anything.
Have you had— you had— have you had your meds checked? Uh, yes, yes, yes. Okay, but have you had— because if you're still depressed on the depression medication, it's just I think being so far from home too. Okay.
And then being in an environment where it's completely different.
Um, so go home. You think so? Yes, go home. Go home, get your old job back. Go home, get your own job back, uh, old job back. Continue your schooling and continue your mental health until— you gotta put as much time into financial development as you do your physical development, okay? So go home, get back to your old support system, stay as far as you can away from men or women or whoever you date, and lean on family and friends to help you to get through this, this period.
You know what, I appreciate this because like my mom doesn't talk to me and my dad doesn't— like, he talk to me yesterday because I wished him Happy Father's Day.
Okay, but you do have a support system, right? You have some people that you can rely on back home?
I don't.
Okay, obviously you're living with somebody right now who's supporting you, so they can't be— yeah, of support to you while you are—
no, I can't get into that either.
But okay, okay, well do me a favor, email me unwindwithtashak@gmail.com. .com, and, um, I will, um, take some time to, uh, figure out your situation. But here's the thing, like, I could give you all the tips and the people you need to contact, but you got to want to do it. Like, you have— and you have to do it. Like, you know, if you're still depressed and anxious on the medication, that means, like, whoever's prescribing you is mis— you know, miscribing you. Like you— there's some, there's some issues that you got to address first so that you can get up to go to work, so that you can make it through work, and that way you can focus on yourself. But if you're still depressed while being medicated, that's a problem. Okay. Yes, ma'am. All right, so I'm gonna be waiting on your email on LatashaTransrinaKebe@gmail.com. Okay, thank you. No problem. All right, so who's next? Um, N-A, not available, I guess. What's your name and where you calling from? Hello, N-A? Wow, it's me. Um, it's N-A?
N-A? Yeah, it's N-A. Yeah, N-A.
N-A. Okay, N-A. I thought it was— you didn't want people to know your name, so you put not available.
No, that's, um—
okay, okay. Where you, where you Where you calling from?
From the East Coast.
All right, shout out to the East Coast. Okay, uh, what's your question? So, um, you gotta speak a little louder, you're whispering. Go ahead. No, I have—
hello, are you able to hear me?
Yes, I'm here. Okay, I can hear you now. What's up?
Okay, I'm 41. My— I have an 18-year-old who's graduating on Wednesday.
And okay, congratulations.
Thank you. And a 15-month-old baby. I've been— so I'm like starting over, two ends of the spectrum. Um, I've never been married.
Wait a minute, you said— wait, you're starting— what about the spectrum?
Two ends of the spectrum as far as—
oh, okay, okay. Yeah, I was gonna say, trust me, I'm there. I've been there. Trust me, I know No, go ahead.
And so I am— I'm a single mom.
Okay.
Single mom with my daughter, um, a young mom with her, and now again a single mom all over again.
Okay.
And it's, you know, I waited 17 years because I wanted a different outcome. Um, I, I thought that I would get a different outcome. Like, I claimed I always wanted to be a mother, not like just— not just having one child, because I, you know, come from a large family. And so, but I wanted to do it right. Like, I wanted it to work out, and it didn't. Um, and the second father, we were not together in a relationship when the child was conceived. But I believe, and I still believe to this day, that like my children are a blessing. And specifically my last, um, my last child, my son, he, um, I really know that like it was like God all the way. Like he had told me I'm the father, that he had a vasectomy, and, um, he it.
So he didn't have a vasectomy?
He did not, because I wanted to get pregnant. Um, even though I had like asked him to put on a condom, um, he took the condom off, and I was going to take like a morning after, honestly, being like transparent. And he, you know, um, told me he had a vasectomy, don't worry about it. And that's there.
Okay, so you got the baby, obviously the baby kicking your ass. Okay, go ahead, I'm sorry. No, no, no, I know it's hard. You love your baby. There's nothing wrong with this conversation here. You love the shit out of your baby. You don't want nothing to happen to your baby, but it's hard, especially with you.
Yeah, yeah, it's hard, and And like financially, I'll say this, um, I did everything. And you know, I'm not— I heard the last caller and people were reading the comments, and I have tough skin. I'm a tough, I'm a tough cookie. I will say that it's, you know, it's easy for people to judge living in like, like as if you live in a glass house until, you know, because the same way you can judge someone else, there's so many things within your life that somebody can judge of you. So just, just being again, clear, like, we all have our things and, and, you know, none of us are perfect except for— yeah, that's what I believe. So I'm fine with it.
No, but what's your—
my question is this.
Yeah, I—
it's hard for, you know, being a second mom, mother again, a single mother, and for the second time a new mom. And how do I go about finding love? How do I I feel like, who's going to want me? A little bit, a lot, in a lot of ways. I don't feel like, where do I go from now? I do not—
motherhood, go ahead.
At this time, um, I don't enjoy single motherhood right now because it's just like, I'm, I'm like, no, I waited 17 years. This was not a case of me like, like, oh, I should have made better choices. Yes, I understand that my choice decision-making was, you know, it's somewhere along the lines.
So are you afraid that you're not going to be able to find love because you have a 15-month-old baby?
Yeah, and I'm, I'm in— yes, I'm starting over. It's hard to like— how do you begin to start dating?
First of all, okay, do you, um— and this is a very fair question— It's gonna hit wrong, but I need you to really ask yourself, I mean, do you really love yourself?
No, I don't. And I'm in therapy. I go to therapy.
Okay. All right.
So I don't. And so maybe that's the question.
That's the question. So now, first, first, first step is acknowledging that you got some mental health issues going on and you're postpartum. You're still postpartum, right? And then not only that, you know, I was joking about, you know, Ashanti the other day, but I was being serious. I was like, you know, she postpartum and premenopausal at the same time. Because around 40, we start premenopause. So there's a lot of emotions going on right now, you know what I'm saying? And so, you know, it's a joke, but it's not a joke. But at the same time, it's very, very real. And then you have a child that's leaving the nest. Best. So I couldn't imagine what your emotions are now. And I would just say, when, whenever you get to a space mentally, physically, and spiritually where you love yourself as you are, with your situation with your baby and where you are now in life, I think that will be the time to think about dating. And when you love yourself and that love is radiating from you because you got it, trust me, you will attract love.
Yes, I have heard that before. And I think, I think what the challenge is, is how— okay, it's easy to say love yourself, love yourself, love yourself. What does that look like when you do air affirmations when you, when you go to journaling, when you're doing affirmations, when you're— I'm not, I don't like to journal, but I, and I used to love to journal, but now my life is so busy that I don't, I don't enjoy journaling. So how do you get like that self-love? And people say, yeah, love yourself, but it's easy to say it, but what does that look like?
I didn't say love yourself, I said when learn to love yourself. It's a process. Like, you teaching your— what are you teaching your 15-year-old now? A 15-month-old? Or what do you teach— better yet, what are you teaching your 18-year-old that's about to graduate? What type of things are you showing them?
Um, independence, critical thinking skills, um, how to love herself, hopefully.
And how long do you think it's going to take for your 18-year-old to process everything that you're putting or instilling in them right now?
I think life is a journey, so I don't think it's something that is overnight. And, and it's not that, you know, like, even as much as it's like, okay, wait to date— I waited 17 years and really, you know, I, I even had, um, years, years ago, a therapist tell my daughter she was in a racist school. And she was having some difficulties because she was getting called a nigger. Sorry if I can use that or not, but okay. She, um, she— so I take her to therapy and it gets into like relational things, and she didn't like the partner I was with at the time. She hated him. She was very territorial with me, and the therapist alluded to the fact that maybe I should wait to date until um, she's older, right? And, and I felt a lot of guilt with this because it's like, well, you know, so your daughter is biracial? No, she's not biracial, but she went to a school that was predominantly white where it was like 1% Black.
And your therapist told you to not—
it wasn't my therapist, it was her therapist.
She had—
I took her to like a family therapist because she was getting called racial slurs at school. She was getting—
I, I tell—
this is a true story— she was getting called racial slurs at school specifically.
I get that, but I'm trying to figure out what— why would a therapist advise that you wait to date until—
so it was a— so, you know, we do like a family session, and I, I guess in the course of me taking her therapy about this like racial slur, the stuff that I thought was going on just like a school issue, it began to out things that, you know, she didn't like the person I was dating at the time, that like those type of things with them.
Okay, so you put your life on hold to, to see—
well, no, the therapist suggested this. The therapist suggested this. I didn't put it on hold, but it always stuck with me. So fast forward, now currently I have a new baby, and I'm still optimistic that, you know, I will be able to get married even though it hasn't been the traditional way that I've like had my children, lived my life, right? In reference to, I haven't— I'm not married and I'm over 40. And, um, so even with that, it's like, okay, so first, before you can find a partner, love yourself, and then you'll attract the highest form of love. And I believe that. I want to believe it. But what does that look like? Does that mean it'll take me 5 more years to love myself and now I'm looking at 50? You know, like, being realistic, it's easy for people to say, you know, these— this is what you do. But here it is, I feel like I'm, um, working against time.
Well, let me ask you something. I don't, I don't feel like you're working against time. You act like you're gonna die tomorrow or something. Okay. And this is where, you know, and And maybe I'm gonna break it down just a little bit deeper, because I thought maybe I had made it simple enough, but yet it's too simple for you, right? You sound like a very complicated person. And you got to kind of weave through and you got to sit on every thought and you got to fully process it, right? So, um, and okay, when it comes to anything that's okay, I'll give an example. Um, I was having issues at one point with, um, like knowing who I am, right? And so, you know, people will be like, get to know you, get to know yourself. I love myself, but I just didn't know who I was, right? And so how do I figure out who I am? Do I go around asking people, who am I, who am I, who am I? No, I had to sit down and make time to figure out who I was. Right? And that took some deep diving, me, you know, reading a lot on, you know, self-discovery, also journaling. And the reason I say journaling is because your mind has everything stored in the subconscious. And when you write, and you say that you used to write, it brings about all the those old things that you've kind of put back and just stored, things that you've forgotten. And you're like, oh my God, like I said I was gonna do this one, I never did it. And then you start putting it out on paper and you can actually see it and you're connecting with it, and then it reaffirms it. The same way you're reading a book and you get something great out of a book and it affirms you, but it's different when the book is already in you and you're putting it on paper and you're putting it back in you. It's like you're solidifying it. So you have to take time out for yourself to get to know yourself. Once you get to know yourself, then you'll begin to love some of the things about yourself, or you may begin to hate yourself more. But at the end of the day, it's like once you figure that out and spend time with you and self, which means when your daughter goes to— or your baby goes to daycare and the other daughter's out of the house, now you got a little bit more time to put towards you to figure out where you are mentally, where you are you are spiritually. What are some of the things that you like? What are some of the things that you need? And that will come with, okay, now I love me, now I love this, now I see why I like that, I'm like this. And a lot of times when it comes to us not liking ourselves and loving ourselves is because we're living somebody else's life, or the way that somebody else has told us to live, or what everybody else is telling us to do, or what society is doing instead of what we're loving to do. And so that translates into, I'm just here, I don't like where I'm at right now, I don't love where that everything is happening to me instead of you making things happen for yourself. So that's what self-love in the beginning of like creating a journey to self-love, discovering, you know, yourself where you are right now, the facts of what life is, and how you want them to change and the steps that you're going to do in order to make them change. So you can't, you know, expect it to happen, you have to make it happen. Yeah, so you understand what I'm saying?
Like, I received it.
Yeah, like, it's, it's not something that's just gonna come to you and you're gonna feel. You have to create the feelings. The same way we put time and energy into our kids, we put time and energy— you put time and energy to that dude that you trusted and he took off the condom, and, you know, you let him have— like, you gotta let yourself have yourself that way, right? And then once you once you start doing that, you start prioritizing, you start setting, you know, your moral— your morals go up, your values go up, your dreams go up. Who's to say you may even want to— I don't know where you're from right now— you may say, you know what, I always wanted to live in Alaska, bitch, let me go. My baby young enough now to where I can go. I ain't got no young child that's stuck in no school, you know what I'm saying, that's telling me to hold off on my life. Maybe you're gonna do I'm gonna do it completely different this time, you know what I'm saying? And so once— because I'm gonna be honest with you, if you don't want to be around you, what makes you think somebody else want to be around you, let alone raise baby with you, right?
And I, I mean, I will say this, I am comfortable with myself and like, I'm sure I'm, I'm comfortable in my independence.
I know that every day Every day by journaling.
I'm gonna try the journaling.
Um, it's hard. It's hard writing about— it's hard getting to know yourself. You probably write about somebody else easier than you can about yourself, but it's hard putting that shit on paper. Like, self-actualization and realization, right? Do it. Watch what you discover, right?
And it's— it's what this— what has been hard for me is getting beyond the shame of my decision-making because it's like, I'm, I'm an educated woman, I'm an informed woman, and how did I allow myself to slip and like have this baby? I mean, I felt like it's the 17 years of me being controlled and making good decision-making, and I just feel like my decision-making was so poor in, in that moment. And I— it's other things that went on that I can see that caused me to get there, why I was there. But it just really makes no sense. And like, it— for me, everything on the outside is, you know, I'm double master's degree, I had this, I had that, I had my own house. I'm not a wealthier case, or not judging anybody who is. I didn't say no.
No, no, no, no.
I'm just explaining this because this is not where, you know, I, I, I, I did everything so that I so called arrived and I did something that would, nobody would ever believe that this was came from me.
That's just first of all, and that's the problem right there is your expectations. You have unrealistic expectations. It sounds like you— I don't know who's in your circle or who's in your ear, but it sounds like you've put yourself kind of here academically. Um, and you know, sometimes our accolades will— we will allow it to form who we are, but that's really formed around our ego instead of who we are as a person. And so who you are as a person, you're vulnerable just like anyone else. You, you got into a relationship, You got some good dick, you trusted the dick, and then you decided to keep your baby, okay? And now you are here. That's basically what it is. But you saying that you're not going to be able to find love when I know chicks got 5, 6 kids and can't keep niggas off them, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, you, you gotta, you gotta peel back the layers and the what-ifs and the, the, the, the or, you know, wish I coulda woulda, that's all gone. Your reality is where it's at now, and you have to live in that reality instead of a falsified reality that you've kind of built around yourself based off of, you know, your experiences in the past and look at it for what it is now. But I could sit here and go in circles with you all day like this, right? But you are not listening when I'm saying you got to get off this live and you got to go get to know yourself. And then once you get to know yourself, you're going to start to love some of the things about yourself and the things that you don't love about yourself, you're going to change them. And then guess what? You're setting the tone. You're building character. You're building— your intuition is now alive. Because right now I could tell you your intuition was turned off because, look, back in the day before I got pregnant, it took me one time to get pregnant before my husband. That was the last time. After that, I smelt it. I smelt it. I was like, yo, no, not happening. Because I was open intuitively. You got to open yourself up intuitively and you're raising another child. In the latter part of your life. Yeah, you got to be all the way on point, otherwise you're going to be lost in your 60s still saying the same shit you're saying right now because you're refusing to do the work. I don't even think you need a therapist. I just think the only therapist you need is yourself, to be real with yourself on where you is and what you like and what you don't like. Then you'll be able to find a partner and align yourself with that partner, and you guys share the same commonalities and, and values and things like that. And then you won't be in this situation no more. You'll actually be living life with someone that you'll be able to look look at, see. You got a standard. You know what you want your child around. You don't have to hide your dating life because the person that you chose is built off of who you are and an extension of who's attracted to you and who will find you.
Yeah, I, I'm gonna try the journal, and I'm—
I don't know, I'm gonna try. You keep saying I'm gonna try.
No, no, I'm saying I'm gonna try it, meaning I haven't given it a try. So I'm going to try it. I'm going to get journal. I'm gonna try it and I'm gonna work through it. Um, I do— I don't know what caused me to click onto the live, but I— and I can't believe I got in like this. But I think it was just for whatever reason, even like all the terrible comments, all of that. I don't know if I'm going to go back and read it, but why would you read them?
You're just going to reaffirm all the negative shit that you already kind of think about yourself, don't do it. Like, they're just— I'm gonna be honest with you, it's not negative comments. A lot of times when people are telling us things about ourselves, it's like, it's because it's true, but it hurts that it's so true. Like, I cannot believe that I'm this and I've accomplished this and I've done this. And yet people still see this in me. It hurts. But I'm telling you, it is so powerful. It's something so powerful in knowing the truth and being able to, to fix it. Because imagine not knowing and then people just looking at you like you stupid, right?
And, um, the one thing I do want to say, and I'm going to close out here, is there was one, um, comment about, um, a couple— ego and Hello?
Hello? You broke up, you broke up, you broke up. Go ahead and say what you were saying.
The two comments that definitely did stand out because I was curious, you know, standing over the comments, were ego and shame. Ego.
Are you responding to comments right now about people who don't know you?
No, no, no, I'm saying they— I I caught a comment, a couple comments, and two of the comments that stood out were ego and shame. I think you were talking about ego, or somebody mentioned that, and that's like, yes, yes, ego. Because I did everything and I still ended up here. What did I do wrong?
Why is such a bad thing though? Like, you obviously handle your business and you take care of your business. Like, you know who your baby daddy is. I was like, girl, like, come on. Like, I got— I mean, I got—
right, but it's, it's, it's, it's, it's not a good situation because I'm still here. And honestly, I'm sick of changing light bulbs and stuff. I want somebody else to do that.
So I'm— oh, you wanna— okay, all right. So here's the thing, listen, listen, that too.
I, I'm, I'm being real. Honest with you. I'm—
I—
if you tired of— if you tired of doing all that, hire somebody to do it.
It's true.
You're right, you're right. But then I was just—
I was just on a social media post the other day when Lil Durk's baby mama was like she hate doing laundry. I'm like, I haven't done laundry in almost 20 years. I always made sure I had a budget for somebody to come into my house and do my laundry and put it away. I have always made I'm sure. Um, that's, that's something that I know about myself, and it doesn't make me feel less than because I want to pay somebody who needs the money, and this is how they make their living, to come and do my laundry. Like, all of these things are so just very things that you can easily fix and make it happen.
True, I agree. And so that one is shame. Shame is is a big part of all of this.
So, but what are you ashamed of? You should be ashamed of yourself because you don't know yourself, you don't love yourself. So everything that you're— it's like you're judging yourself based on everything that you've told yourself, or where you're supposed to be, or what people think of you, that you're scared to walk. It's like a person walking around with all types of Birkins and shit, and then, you know, when they can't afford their bills no more, all of a sudden they feel less than that, oh, I got to walk out and I ain't got no more Birkins or Gucci bags and stuff. What are people going to think of me? Is that what you built yourself on? What people— what you want people to think of you? Or how you want to think of yourself? Like, what do you want? I would rather be— I would rather work on— and this is, this is how I, you know, I build myself every day. I don't give a damn what nobody think. Do I take it into consideration, things that can help me to progress and move? But at the end of the day, I do enough enough self-actualization exercises through journaling. I have my spiritual mentor, I have my business mentor, I have people around me that help to reassure me, to guide me so that I can make decisions based on what it is that I need currently in my life. And you have got to do that. Just as much work as you put into getting a degree, just as much work as you put into doing everything else in your life, we are not putting as much work as we need into ourselves and our mental health and where we are as a people. And you got a new baby that you about to bring up with the same old ways. No, ma'am.
Come on now.
Come on, stop the cap. And I'm gonna stop you right here because I don't want you responding to comments and stuff like that. But there's nothing— I cannot say this, I can say this a thousand times, but until you actually do it and sit down and meditate, journal, do things that you like, do things that you don't like— do I like this? Do I like that? No, I don't like this, scratch this out. Like, you have got to take time to get to know yourself.
That's okay, that's what I'm going to do. Thank you. I received—
you're welcome, baby. All right, okay, all right, last question, and then we gotta head over to tashaklive.com. So Simon's baby mama has hit back at Portia, okay? We're also going to discussing— hold on for a second, let me get the topics right here on tashakalive.com. K. Michelle, Never Let It Go. Neo, Neo, Neo has made the lineup, him and his girlfriend. I forgot to send you that receipt, child. Give me a second. Uh, we got some exclusive news on, uh, Bambi and Ray Face. It's a continuation of what we put out that happened on Love Hip Hop, uh, the other day with Ray Face saying that he was gonna— somebody— he was gonna shoot a woman in the face and everything like that. Uh, Tyler spotted out with Mariah Carey's ex. Okay, Bryan, is it Tatanka or Tonka? I don't know his last name. And much, much more. If you do want to see that show, you do have to subscribe to TashaKLive.com. My bad, Jasmine, that's my fault. We figured out why the live has been jumping, and so it's my fault. So we have like a portable AC here in the building because we're in a loft, and sometimes the air doesn't reach up here. And so So this air is supposed to blow on the camera, so it makes the cameras hot, and then the camera starts stuttering. And that's what's been freezing the lives. It hasn't been, you know, YouTube per se. Oh well. But they've done that before. Okay, so just know, don't forget, guys, we're sponsored in part by The Sugar Case, some of my favorite, just flavorful sugar body oils. I've been using these for a very long time. This is a Georgia Peach here. We also I have the Watermelon Squeeze. Okay, they got lots and lots of flavors. And Glazed Donut. I actually use these. As you can see, Jasmine's been stealing them, so I have to get the Sugar Case to send me more promo products, of course, because I get them and I don't have to pay for them anymore because you guys are supporting. And so don't forget, guys, if you want some of the body oils, please, uh, go to shoptkdeals.com and use our coupon code TK10, okay, to get 10% off your first order. Don't forget, guys, all of our food is nutritionally deficient. Okay? And everyone should be supplementing with high quality. And y'all keep saying— I keep saying potent wrong. It's potent. I don't know. Potent, potent. You know, I'm Southern. Okay. But nutritionally dense vitamins. Okay. And so Irish Sea Moss has been talked about through the health community for many, many years. Dr. Sebi and his followers and things like that and other health gurus that have come up behind him, even Yaki Awaken, all of them highly recommend sea moss, especially in its raw form. But a lot of times it's too complicated to make. Okay. And so, yeah, we got the sea moss pills and they stink and they smell fishy and everything like that. But Man Immunity has come out with an amazing product that I've been using for a very, very long time. It is very highly rated on ShopTKDeals.com. You can read the reviews. Real reviews from real winos such as yourself to get the deets on this particular product. This is the mango flavor as well as the— we have a pineapple flavor and they kind of mask the fishy odor, but they have extracted 98% of the vitamins and minerals that you do find in sea moss that help to supply the body with the nutrients and vitamins that we need. Okay, you can get this on my website. Use the coupon code TK10, shoptkdeals.com/TK10. Um, who else, Jasmine, do we have? Also, guys, we have the fermented B vitamins. Okay, so what happens is, right, there's a lot of B vitamins that are being sold on the internet and in stores that are not fermented or methylated, right? And so what happens is we end up taking the B vitamin, it gives us like a little burst of energy, but it's kind of toxic. Not it's kind of, it is toxic to our body. It's just as toxic as cyanide. Okay. And so it's, it's like a generic version of B vitamins and things like that. And so if you have a B vitamin deficiency, there's two things that you got to do. You got to make sure the B vitamins are methylated. You also got to make sure they're fermented and you also got to make sure they're in liquid form. Okay. And so I'm gonna be honest with you. This is a B vitamin complex that I've used. I told you I was going to bring it to the forefront for y'all. It ain't cheap. It ain't cheap. And this will last you about 6 months because you only need to take a B vitamin complex once a week. I don't know who's telling people that they need to take B vitamins every day, but my blood work, even with me taking the B vitamin complex once a week, it still says I'm in the red. I'm over-consuming B vitamins, and that's probably because I'm getting them from, uh, the sea moss drops as well the Vitamix, the mushroom Vitamix, which is fermented B vitamins as well too. And then of course, you can get some B vitamins from your food, as well as waters or energy drinks and stuff that you guys are drinking. And so it could be overconsumed. But if you do want the greatest impact on B vitamins, and B vitamins directly impact your metabolism, and help your metabolism to run along with, you know, other vitamins and minerals that the body needs, you need a good, good liquid B vitamin. And this one here, I did tell the supplier, I was like, I don't know, you know, how well this will do. We can test it out and see if my viewers are interested in it. It is a bit on the pricey side, but guys, this will last you up to 6 months to a year. And these are very, very high quality fermented B vitamins that are just ready and easily absorbable into your bloodstream as well as your cells and things like that, and will get your metabolism back moving. Because a lot of times when we got slow metabolisms, we can't burn fat and things like that, it's because of, you know, lack of B vitamins. And so you can look that up. All right. It's available on shoptkdeals.com. Use the coupon code TK10. Use it because like I said, it is expensive. And yeah, let us know what you think. And also, guys, Don't forget, if you don't like sea moss, all right, so I'm happy to— or you may not be a mushroom Vitamix person, which is both of these are very nutritionally dense. This you could take about twice a week and get just as much vitamins as you can get from the drops. I prefer the drops because normally I don't get a chance to mix this in water and stuff like that or in smoothies. But if you are a raw food type person and you like to get get your vitamins and stuff from raw foods and you don't want them processed and things like that too much, we do have the Roots, Leaves, and Herbs that are available on the website. These are super roots, leaves, and herbs. And in Roots, Leaves, and Herbs is where the vitamins and minerals live. And so you can use this as a travel powder. You can use this as a, you know, you don't like capsules, maybe you don't like drops and things like that. And you want it in your food. You could sprinkle this in your food. So this is a dehydrated version of roots, leaves, and herbs that are organic, you know what I'm saying, that are just kind of grounded down into a powder that will give you the same vitamins that you will get in the sea moss vitamins as well, too. And you could put it in your smoothies, take it at night and things like that if you're not a sea moss person or you don't like mushrooms. Okay. And so this is available on the website. Website on shoptkdeals.com. Use the coupon code TK10, um, when you're over there. All right, we're about to head over to tashaklive.com right now, uh, for our celebrity gossip portion of the show. We got this invite from this woman who thinks her husband is possessed by demons. I'm not sure about this one, Y'all, are you kidding? When the last time we covered a story like this? Diane Johnson's cabin. I'm so relieved you guys accepted my invitation to come. Something to drink? Maybe some tea or coffee? I would do wine, Miss Diane. I know how you like your wine, but I need you fully alert for the story I'm about to burden you with.
You're the chosen one.

Yes, Tasha, we got to help.
I said we could do a family vacation, all of us, all—
