A speaker explains hedonistic adaptation: why chasing goals alone leaves you empty, and why experiences and emotions matter more than you think.
When I heard you say, like, I don't want to feel like my card's about to get declined. When we hit, when we tie in, when we dial in our vision, it's the experiences and the emotions that count most, not like, necessarily the goals and the things. Right. Because if you're just focused on the goals, the outcomes, you'll suffer what's called hedonistic adaptation, which means over time, you get used to the stuff that you have, like the 11,000 square foot mansion, and it's not enough. So for, for you and for our listeners, I'm glad that, you know, we're focusing on just the emotions and the experiences.
