Can confronting Bernie Madoff in prison provide closure? with Jess Ekstrom #shorts

I found out that he was in prison in North Carolina, where I live, and, like, two hours away from me. And so I would go and visit him and ask why he did it. And it was like a different person, because everything he had been hiding was now out. Like, I had never heard this man say more than three words, and he would not stop talking for two hours. You know, when I would go visit, I will say, eventually, the visits, the more comfortable he got in prison, the less remorse he had for what he did. And so then that's when I stopped going. I could sit and listen to someone with remorse, but I couldn't sit and listen to someone who could justify it. Which is what? The longer he was in there, the more he started to do.
