Don't try to be famous #shorts

A speaker argues that chasing fame misses the point. What matters is making a real impact on the people who find you, not the size of your audience or how many know your name.
Are you famous? I'm going to tell you a quick story to illustrate the impact of this and why it doesn't really matter too much. So I'm bringing this up because the other day my daughter asked me if I was famous, and I said, well, why do you think this? She said, my friend saw you on TV and they said, if you're on tv, that means you're famous. And I said, well, I'm not not famous. But there's a big difference between being famous and having an impact on your audience. You can have a hundred followers on LinkedIn and have an impact by helping them, by solving problems, by giving them motivation. And that's how you're going to generate revenue as a business owner. So let's talk about fame. In regards to social media, you could have a bajillion followers on LinkedIn or Instagram, but if you're not making an impact, you're not helping anyone, including yourself. So focus on impact, not fame. That's how you'll grow your business and help others at the same time.
