This is a YouTube video titled "Experiencing Rock Bottom w/ Tim Stoddart #shorts" containing a personal narrative by Tim Stoddart about his experience with opiate withdrawal and supporting his mother during a difficult time. The content is a monologue reflecting on personal struggles and family responsibilities.
I flew out the next day, and on the plane ride, I was so sick from the withdrawals. I don't know if anybody listen to this. I've ever dealt with, like, opiate withdrawals before, but you get, like, very, very sick. And I was sick on the plane. I got to the hotel, I was sick, and I was. My mom came in when I finally got to the hotel, and my stepdad was wheeling her in, in a wheelchair, and she asked me if I would go to the pre op with her. And like I said, I'm like my mom's oldest son. I was a mess at that time in my life, but I'm still, like. I've always had, like, a stoicism about me, I think, like, it's weird to say that about yourself, but, you know, I just. My mom could confide in me. I would give my mom some strength, and that's basically what she was asking, asking for, like, will you come with me and give me a little bit of strength? And I. I said no, because I was just so absolutely sick.
