This is a YouTube video titled "Has Rule Following and Conforming Disconnected You From Yourself? with Antonio Neves #shorts" featuring Terry Rice speaking about his personal journey of self-acceptance and breaking free from conformity, recorded in May 2024.

I can walk into any room and be fine. I can connect with absolutely anybody. But for the longest time, I couldn't connect with my damn self, right? Because there was so much conforming. But the moment that comes up is when I decided to stop wearing the uniform on stage and, like, yo, I'm just gonna be me. And even having dreadlocks now, man, like, that was a. Like, again, the stories in my head, I always have a crisp fade, right? I want to be this. I want to be the safe brother. Didn't want to give you a reason not to hire me. And I'm at this point in life, man, I'm like, nah, man, I'm good. I just want to be me.
