Jason Feifer shares his mantra: do the best work you can with the resources available to you. He reflects on working within constraints and prioritizing quality over unlimited resources.
This mantra that I have for myself, which is, I will do the best work with the resources available. I love that phrase. I will do the best work with the resources available. I don't have all the resources. You don't have all the resources. You know, at Entrepreneur, I'm very proud of the magazine we make. It's a really small staff. Could it be a. Could it be a more robust magazine? Could there be, you know, however you want to define it, more ambitious reporting? Could it be more. More complex design or whatever? If we had more people, yeah, but you know what? We don't have more people. We have the people we have. And so let's make the best version that we can make with that and, like, not sit around and try to compare what we do to what we could do if we had double the budget. Because we don't have double the budget. So why even think about it?
