This is a YouTube video titled "How Did a Passion for Health and Helping Others Shape Robert Palmer's Career? #Shorts" featuring Robert Palmer discussing his background in exercise science and his dedication to serving the homeless, which inspired his career focus on health and healing. The content is a personal narrative or monologue rather than a conversation.
I had the skill set of exercise and exercise science. But then my whole life, I also dedicated towards servitude. I would always go and donate my time to the homeless. I would feed the homeless. My mom would house the homeless in our home. Sometimes it was dangerous, but she did it out of her heart. And so for me, I was like, okay, what I'm going to do with my life is going to be health focus because I don't want to lose another sibling. It's going to be health focused, and I have to find a way to use a skill set that I've been blessed with to be able to heal people. Right. Didn't know what that was going to be. And then I read an article that talked about the rise in the health industry and I was like, bingo. That's how I'm able to now take the information that I learned about business, business finance and administration and marketing and managing, and I'm going to take the skills that I have in athletics, I going to take the passion for helping others.
