Kellee C Williams reflects on maintaining joy and purpose as an entrepreneur, drawing motivation from past achievements and the impact she has on others.
I absolutely love entrepreneurship, but it is so unlike working a 9 to 5. Like we really, really work. And now I've been put into hunter and gatherer mode. I'm no longer, I don't, I don't have the consistency of a bi weekly paycheck and things like that. So if I don't work, I don't eat right. I'm telling you, I hope this frees somebody. What really pulls me out of it is I'm thinking about, okay, what achievements did I do last year or the year before? I'm really, I'm getting fueled up about, oh yeah, that's right, I do this and I help people. And so just thinking about all the different lives that I impact because I show up doing the thing that I believe I'm called to do, it's enough to help me to keep pressing because it does get heavy, it does get hard sometimes. But it also has so many, so many more moments of joy. It really does offset it.
