How to build an online course #shorts

Terry walks through building an online course: start with a free workshop to validate your idea and build an audience, then use that feedback to improve before you sell it.
Hey, this is Q and A with Terry. Let's hop into your next question right now. And it is, how can I create an online course? This is, this is important. I'm glad we're asking this question because what I find some people do is they'll create an online course and then try to sell it. And they're surprised that either people don't like it for one reason or another or they don't have an existing audience. So what I would say is start with a workshop based on your online course. Let's pretend it's. It's how to get clients. Right. Start with that workshop and then offer it for free to relevant organizations. It could be a chamber of commerce, it could be a local college. Whatever it is, if nobody wants it for free, stop now and you've saved yourself a huge headache because it proves you have to make some tweaks before it's ready to go to market. If they do say yes, great. Get some testimonials on how you can improve it and therefore you have a better product when you do release it. But a recap, have a workshop. See if someone says yes to it. Use that audience to learn how to build a better course, and then go ahead and sell it. You have a built in audience and a proven solution, so you'll be much better off going forward.
