This is a YouTube video titled "How to find the right business partner #shorts" featuring Terry Rice providing advice on when to get a business partner, how to find a trustworthy partner through networking, and starting small before formalizing the partnership. The content is a solo talk focused on business partnership guidance.
This is Q and A with Terry. And the next question is, how do you know if someone is worth partnering with? So I think there's. There's two questions here. One is, should I get a partner? And I'll answer that first. You should get a partner when there are things that you want to do for your business that you don't have the skill or the time to do. So how does this partner compliment what you do in a way that's going to be impactful and you yourself could not do just individually? So I would start there. And the next question, I think is almost, how can you find someone you can trust not to scurry over? Basically, right? How do we. How do we find this person? And the best way to solve for that is to start with your network, right? Who do you know through your network that you can partner with or would know someone you can partner with? And even then ask for testimonials, ask for references, even ex coworkers, to make sure that they're legit. And I would not jump into a partnership immediately. I would start on one, two, maybe three products together. And if they work well, you can say, you know what? Gosh, this is. This is going well. Let's go ahead and make this official. So to recap, first of all, get clear on why you need a partner, reach out to your network, start small, and if it works, yeah, go for it. Because you've now found this person who can be a thought partner, a business partner, and help you grow your business even better than you would have individually.
