Darius Mirshahzadeh explains how to find your core values by asking two questions: what would you lose money over, and what behaviors do you find intolerable. These answers reveal what actually matters to you.
And, you know, a core value is a core value. You want to know how you know, Terry? I would love to know. Yeah? Yeah. I like asking host questions, me. I'm always the one asking questions. So if it's something you're willing to lose money over for it to remain true, that's how you know if it's a value. It's the opposite of something you hate. So if you're a person where, like, if someone's, like, looking at their phone while you're, like, talking to them and it just drives you fucking insane, you probably have why they're being disrespectful. The inverse of that is respect. Respect is probably one of your values, right? So it's things that the opposite of things that drive you crazy is usually a value or something you want to lose money over. But we all kind of know what we stand.
