I speak at conferences a lot and there's hundreds of people in the crowd. And I do have techniques that I do before and during this presentation to make sure that I don't tank right? The first thing is I realize everyone wants me to do well. No one's hoping I just tank this whole presentation because they want to learn something or be inspired. So I look at the audience and say, everyone here is on my side, right? So even if I do slip up a little bit, they're gonna wait for me to catch my breath and come back and deliver. So I see allies, I don't see adversaries. And then beyond that, I naturally speak fast. I'm trying not to now. So I just remember to slow down, take a breath. And that pregnant pause, that tension and release is the earmark of a good presenter. I'm really trying hard to talk slow. Last thing my wife said when I walked out the door.
