How to land speaking gigs #shorts

Here's one strategy for how you can land speaking gigs. It's worked for me and other people that I've helped. It's pretty simple. Attend events that you want to speak at. It could be a conference, it could be some kind of meetup, whatever it is. But your goal there is to meet the event organizer. Find them. However you have to do it, find them and say, oh gosh, Kelly was so great on stage, by the way. Do you need more speakers for next year or next period or next whatever? So find the event organizers, have a conversation with them, and then make an ask. Say, can I talk about this topic? Ask me specific at your next event. So try that out and let me know how it goes.
