This is a YouTube video titled "How To Make Authentic TikTok Content (No Dancing Required) #shorts" containing a conversation recorded on July 1, 2022. The dialogue features Terry Rice and another speaker discussing the challenges and approaches to creating TikTok content authentically, focusing on knowledge-based content rather than typical dancing or trends.
Ryan is chiming in here saying, you know, I love consuming TikTok. The prospect of posting freaks me out. By the way, I've never felt older than after rereading the previous sentence.
Yeah, right. I hear you should create.
Yeah, go for it. I mean, I'm 44 years old. I'm still, you know, doing my thing on there too. And again, I'm not like dancing and everything and like, you know, doing a bunch of random stuff because that would not be a good look.
But Terry, what you post is you. It's your brand. Like the way that you like to create is what we're talking about, that knowledge based stuff. And that feels really real and comfortable and good for you. And that like that is exactly what would probably do super well on TikTok. I think what my problem was was that I wasn't doing that like I was trying to post in your style, but that didn't feel right for me because I was really wanting something else that I was too afraid to try because of. I was afraid of what people were going to think of me.
