Personal vs character branding and having an authentic message with Ashley Stahl #shorts

My work rides on the message of don't do what you love, do what you are. And a lot of people, they might write a talk and have good, actionable tips, but do they have a message? Do they have something that they believe that is clear and coming through in their work, no matter what their pivots or changes have been?

To your point about letting the work come through you and talking about, like, you know, what you are, I feel like that's the difference between personal branding and character branding. Because personal branding, yes, you know, it's important to thing, but it can be manufactured. But your character, that's actually, you know, how you feel and how you the actions you take as well. So I think going forward, that's gonna be even more important than personal branding.
