This is a YouTube video titled "Social Media Sales Pitches: Why I Actually Enjoy Them #entrepreneur #sales #QuickTips" posted in June 2024. The content features a single speaker sharing their unpopular opinion about preferring direct sales pitches on social media rather than prolonged conversations, emphasizing efficiency and straightforwardness in sales interactions.
Okay, this is going to be an unpopular opinion. I'm not just saying that. So you watch the rest of the video. Like, oh, I wonder what he's going to say that I don't like. Like, I legit think some of you are not going to like this opinion, but here goes. A lot of people don't like it when someone reaches out to them on social media and immediately pitches them with something. Right? They call it being pitch slapped. Which sounds great, but on my end I actually enjoy it. Not the slapping part, but I enjoy the fact that they're getting to the point. Because what I don't like is when someone DMs me asks me a bunch of questions, share stuff about their life and I'm like, where is this going? Like, don't you have some friends you can talk to about this stuff? Like, why are you talking to. So if you want to try to sell something to me, just try to sell it. I might want it, I don't know, but I might lose patience if you keep on dancing around the bush or beating around the bush, whatever it is, just get to the point. So again, that's my unpopular opinion. If you want to try to sell me something, just try. Let's get it over with. Let's save both of us some time. The answer is going to be yes or no, but just get to the point.
