This is a YouTube video titled "Unlock Your Story: Character Branding for Authentic Recognition" containing a monologue or talk focused on personal and character branding, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and storytelling over manufactured personal brands. The speaker discusses the transition from personal branding to character branding and the value of sharing true stories to gain recognition. The content appears to be a single speaker presentation without multiple participants.
And the reason why I do is because I know a lot of other people. Everyone has these amazing stories trapped inside of them, but if they're afraid to tell them or don't know how to tell them, then they won't get recognized and rewarded for who they are. They only get rewarded for what they do. So it's a huge unlock when you realize you don't have to worry about protecting, proving, pleasing. You can just be yourself. And the best version of yourself is really all you have to be. So that's my goal, is to unlock that with people and show them how to have the authority, the audacity to share their adversity, which gets them merchandise. So love that. And the last thing I'll say is, like, what we are going through right now is a transition where personal branding is just going out because it's so easy to manufacture AI right? We can all manufacture this personal brand. We're on a yacht, freaking, like, you know, doing whatever. But character branding. Character branding is really what matters. And character branding is revealed through your stories and your actions, not your brand. I mean, a thousand true fans, like, I get it, it sounded cute back in the day, but, like, there are people listening to this right now thinking, okay, how do we get a thousand when they can't even get, like, 100 on the newsletter? So for us to make that the benchmark, is this wrong?
