Vishal Joseph explains the difference between working in your business, handling daily tasks, and working on your business, building systems for growth. He shares how dedicating time to infrastructure and AI improved both his work-life balance and business performance.
So I have a question. What did you. What do you mean by working in your business and working on your business? Like, could you elaborate on that?
Yeah, absolutely. So working in your business is your day to day, right? It's what you do for work, functional work. So on my end, it could be speaking, could be consulting, it could be podcasting, but working on your business is setting up the infrastructure to be successful. So maybe that's your pricing, maybe that's your marketing, and it can be the tools, the systems that you're using to grow and scale faster. And today it should be AI. How can I leverage AI to grow? So that's working on your business as opposed to in your business. And last year, what I did with my company is I shut down for a week. Me and my team had what we call this infrastructure week where we worked on the business for an entire week. And the outcome of that is I have more time to play with my kids and the business is doing better than ever.
