This is a YouTube video titled "What does it take to be a good entrepreneur? #shorts" containing a monologue by Terry Rice recorded in November 2022. In this short segment, Terry Rice shares insights on the qualities of a good entrepreneur, emphasizing the importance of applying knowledge rather than just accumulating it.
All right, this is Q and A with Terry. Let's take your next question. What are the qualities of a good entrepreneur? It's probably a lot, right? But I think one is they actually apply what they've learned. And one of my favorite quotes by Jim Rohn is knowledge uninvested in labor is wasted. Right. But I see so many people bragging about how many books they read, how many podcasts they listen to, so on and so forth. That's great. What have you done with it? Right. And even with that, how much knowledge do you need? Because another approach I want to encourage you to take is just in time. Learning jit. What do you need to know now to take the next step in your business? Cool. Learn it, then do it. What's next? I don't know, but learn it and then do it. Go on. So on and so forth. Right. But it's the accumulation of knowledge, the stockpiling, that for me is a waste of time. So don't just consume knowledge, use it. That's one of the biggest challenges I see with entrepreneurs, and the most successful ones know how to do it effectively.
