This is a YouTube video titled "Who should you learn from? #shorts" containing a monologue or talk from April 5, 2023, discussing the idea of learning from people who have achieved success in your field rather than only from those less successful, emphasizing the value of reverse engineering successful tactics.
Someone who was less successful than you. And I'll tell you why I'm asking this question. I was following this guy on LinkedIn for a while. He had great content, shared all his processes, how he made money, xyz, and at times a little jealous because it seemed like he was doing so well. He had all these followers, all this engagement, all these cool tips and everything. But he mentioned one thing that threw me off, maybe second guess everything. He said, his income, it was way less than mine. Way less. Like I make that in a quarter what he makes in a year. So I was thinking to myself, if these rules that you have led you to this point, what is the point of the rules? So I'm not saying you can't learn from someone who's less successful than you. That would be arrogant. But if you do want to be successful, also follow people who have found success in the same lane that you're on as well. That's how you can reverse engineer their tactics, their best practices, their approaches, make them your own and also find the same success.
