In this testimonial, the speaker shares the single most valuable lesson they learned while preparing for interviews through the Academy program. They emphasize the power of a milestone‑driven, task‑specific preparation system, which they documented in a personal checklist that they kept close throughout the four‑week course. This structure kept them focused despite life’s distractions and gave them confidence that they had done everything possible for each interview. The speaker also reflects on the financial cost of the program, framing it as a worthwhile investment in themselves because it helped secure a job that could define the rest of their career. The overall tone is conversational and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of personal satisfaction and confidence in the outcome.

And if you had to share something like one golden nugget that you learned for your interview prep inside the Academy with someone who's not in the Academy, who's just prepping for their interview, what tip do you think you would give them? Well, apart from join the Academy. The milestones stood out for me as something I could really kind of get on board with and follow and kept me on track with everything, really. Often life gets in the way, doesn't it? But with this, I felt like there were enough reminders and enough things to keep me focused, like very specific tasks to do rather than general. That worked for me, and I had a document with all of the milestones written out, and I just went over the 4 weeks, the academy, I just went through and filled them out and kept that document close to hand at all times, really. I have never come out of an exam or an interview thinking, yeah, I mean, that was as good as I could have done. And like, again, I was, I, I was looking back at my text messages to my, to my, again, from my friends and family afterwards, and they, they all say Yeah, I gave it my best shot. Again, if someone gets it over me, then well done. I've done everything I can. So I kind of felt like I'd left it all there on the table. If that's what they wanted, excellent, brilliant. But if it wasn't, then okay, I couldn't have done anything more. And I have never felt like that before. That's great. I don't know, I'm always like my own worst critic, but I actually felt like I'd done a good job. I would say it's probably the most important amount of money that you've ever Parted with to some extent, because at this point, you know, in your career, you're trying to get the job that potentially is going to be your job for the rest of your life. And you really have to do everything you can to put yourself in the best possible position. I think you kind of owe it to yourself, really. And yes, it's a lot of money, but it's not in terms of, you know, your first consultant payslip. And for me, I thought, yeah, well, it's an investment in myself. I think it was absolutely worth it. Certainly sat here now, all smug that I've got my job, I am more than happy to have parted with that money.
