I think one of the things that stood out for me with the Academy was the need, or that you didn't need to be completely ready and completely prepared. You kind of prepared as you went along. And I think compared to some of the other courses that I'd looked at, and I looked at them in quite a lot of detail and thought, I'd really like to do that, but I feel like I need to have my CV polished. I feel like I need to know when the job interview is going to be. I need to know about me better. I need to know how to sell myself. Whereas the Academy, it very much felt like I could start whenever I wanted to. I could fit it around life and it would help me prepare, and I think that felt really different. I think one of the big things that I learned was just how easy it is to highlight some really key parts of your CV and to really perfect those and be confident in them. And I think that helped me focus my prep and focus the ways I was thinking, and then I was able to show that in the interview. I think the other thing that I hadn't particularly appreciated was just how important the community is at supporting you going through it all as well. There's a whole load, there's often about 50 of us all going through the same thing with similar interviews, yes, from different backgrounds and different experiences, but it's— I've learned loads from, from them as well as everything that we've kind of discussed and talked about, so that's been really good. And I've actually made some good connections and friends for the future as well. I think similar to how I felt, like genuinely don't worry if you haven't started preparing because this course gives you all of the tips and things that you need to prepare. And that's what makes it really different. It doesn't matter if your CV's not perfect, it doesn't matter if you've never thought about it, it's a good way to start and it'll help you get where you need to be.
