How to Hit $10K/Month in Crypto Trading Without a Big Account

In this tutorial, Xuan of The Art Of Crypto outlines a step‑by‑step roadmap for achieving a $10,000‑per‑month income from crypto trading, even with a modest account size. He begins by emphasizing the necessity of a clear financial goal and then breaks down the math: assuming 15 trades per month, a 50 % win rate and a 3:1 risk‑to‑reward ratio, a trader must risk roughly $850 per trade to net $10 K. He discusses the psychological challenge of risking large sums, recommending a gradual increase in per‑trade risk to build confidence and reduce fear. To make the target achievable with less capital, Xuan proposes multiplying the desired per‑trade risk by 10–15, which translates to an account of $8.5‑$13 K—enough to survive a 10‑15‑trade losing streak. He explains how leverage can amplify position size while keeping actual capital low, and stresses that leverage is a tool, not a danger, when used responsibly. The video also covers the power of compounding small, consistent profits, provides concrete examples for $100‑$200 risk levels, and concludes with a call to action for his paid trading‑support service and a request to subscribe and like the channel.

What's up guys, welcome back to another video. Now in this video, I'm going to be showing you the exact roadmap that you need to follow to get to $10K a month. And obviously you can adapt this to any goal that you might have in mind. If your goal is to get to $20K, then just slightly adapt the numbers. But it's really important that you understand, you know, the numbers that you need to get there so that, well, you know firstly where you're trying to go, but to get there most importantly This will allow you to optimize your results to get there as efficiently and quickly as possible. And for those of you who think that it's not possible to get to, say, $10K or even $5K a month, unless you have literally like $10K or $20K in capital, I ask that you think again. Later on in this video, I will share with you a method that, you know, I haven't really seen anyone else talk about this method, but it allows you to hit, you know, for example, $10K a month with much less capital than you think you need. Now, before I get into the video, if If you don't know who I am, hello, my name is Xuan, and I'm on a mission to make the best trading education suite in the world by making trading easy for everyone. And without any further ado, let's dive into this video. So firstly, I do want to talk about the importance of having this goal, and it boils down to the fact that in order to get anywhere, you need to firstly know where you're going, right? Otherwise you're just going nowhere fast. And in terms of getting to $10K a month, something that most people don't really think about is how much capital you need to be risking on on every trade in order to consistently hit those numbers. Now I'm gonna break it down for you in a very, you know, simple calculation. Let's say that the goal is $10K a month, and let's say that, you know, you're on average, you're taking about 15 trades a month. And so let's assume for a moment that you have a 50% win rate on a 3 to 1 average risk to reward ratio, which is quite achievable, especially if you find a system that works and as long as you're disciplined enough to stick with that system. So assuming everything here is true, in order to get to $10K a month, On every trade, you would need to risk roughly $850. Now obviously some of you are better traders and you might have a slightly higher win rate, and some of you are very likely to achieve a much higher risk-to-reward ratio compared to what I have put here. But just to be conservative, let's say that these are the numbers that we're working with. So just to break down the math a little bit for you, with about a 50% win rate, you're winning about, you know, 7 trades, right? It should be 7.5 trades, but, you know, let's be conservative here. You're winning about 7 trades. Every month, and you are very likely to lose about eight trades per month. Now, following these numbers, on average, we're going to be winning, you know, on average, like seven and a half trades per month. But let's again be conservative here, and let's say we're only winning seven trades a month. That'll net us a total of about twenty-one R, and we're going to be losing about eight trades a month. Now, this is assuming that you're being strict with your risk management, and you're disciplined enough to stick with your system, which you should be. Otherwise, you're not going to get any results in the first place. The only thing you're going to be doing is losing all your money. So. Losing eight trades a month, and so this gives you a net of you know give or take thirteen R a month. Again, eight hundred fifty times thirteen—that's roughly ten K. So immediately, one of the things that you might be thinking at this point is whoa, Chuan, that's a lot of money to be risking in every trade. And that's true because sure, winning a three R trade on like close to a thousand dollars worth of risk per trade is going to get you like three thousand dollars or like two and a half grand worth of profit every time you do win. But every time you lose, you're gonna be looking at, you know, losing a grand. And for many of us who's living in societal life where we tie our understanding of money to the amount of effort or the amount of work or the amount of hours that we put into work, it can feel pretty shitty when we lose, let's say, a month's worth of rent. Or like when we start associating $1,000 to the amount of things that we can buy, plus the amount of work that's needed in order to get back that $1,000, adds a very big psychological blocker to our ability to take trades using that size. And one of the most important reasons why you want to start thinking about, you know, your goal is to help you get used to bigger numbers. And what do I mean by this? Well, if you know exactly where you're trying to go and if you can break down exactly the amount of risk that you need to take on per trade, now that you know what your end goal is, you can start, you know, week over week or maybe every 2 weeks, you can increase that, you know, risk per trade that you're taking from let's say $100 to $150 to $200. And over time you're gonna get used to these bigger and bigger numbers. That's going to help you a lot psychologically when you do need to get to these bigger numbers in order to achieve, you know, $5K, $10K, or even more per month. In fact, this is a very big problem that I see with a lot of traders who, you know, they start getting good at trading, but then the idea that they need to put so much money on the line like really daunts them. And if you start working on this, you know, as soon as possible, it really helps to give you confidence. And when it comes to trading, confidence is like hands down the most important thing you need to have as a trader. Like, I'm just going to paint a picture for you of why this is so important. So let's say on one side of the equation you have, you know, this circle here, and then you're gonna have another side of the equation. And obviously on this side is, let's say, confidence. This is where you want to be. But on the opposite side of the spectrum is fear. When you're operating from, you know, a standpoint of fear versus when you're operating from a standpoint of confidence, things can look very different for you as a trader. When you're operating inside a perspective of fear, every trade that you take, you're gonna start second-guessing yourself. Or maybe you're able to get into a trade, but then you just start, you know, really doubting yourself and your mind is always gonna be on the trade. Like, oh, you know, I just saw a red candle. Should I close it? Should I not? Even if the price is going well, like it's going in your favor, you're also gonna be doubting like, okay, you know, am I going to lose all of this profit if I don't take the profit now? And all in all, as a trader, you don't wanna be in a state of fear. And dealing with big numbers tends to instill that kind of subconscious fear in you. 'Cause you know, you grew up, you know, 20, 30, 40 years depending on how old you are with the concept that, you know, money is associated to work. You don't really wanna risk losing this money. Like $1,000 can get you quite a lot. Could get you a plane ticket. Go somewhere else. And the moment you start thinking that way, it's when you start making really bad decisions and maybe even deviate from your system. Now, on the other side of the equation, confidence is great. Like, that's the time when, you know, not only are you very certain on all the ideas that you come up with yourself and all the analyses that you do, like, you're able to just go right into the trade. And even when you're in the trade, it doesn't matter really what price is doing. Like, you just have a really good idea of, you know, okay, I have my plan. I can just trust my plan. I can trust my stop loss and I can trust my TP. I'm just gonna let it do its thing. And, you know, that's a really good place to be. That's how you achieve trading success, and it's very hard to do that if you're not used to these bigger numbers. And so my advice for you even is that if you're in a point right now where you're dealing with paralysis by analysis, especially when it comes to you know just thinking about bigger numbers, is number one to slowly increase the amount that you're risking at the moment from let's say if you're doing a hundred bucks right now, slightly increase it like week over week. Maybe this week you're going to do $125 per trade. Next week you're going to do $150 a trade, and you know so on and so forth. Eventually you're going to get to a point where. It just becomes numbers on the screen, and that's where you want to get to if you want to achieve bigger numbers with trading. So that's the main reason why you want to have a goal and you want to know what that goal is so that you can start optimizing for the point when, you know, you get really good at trading and now you're ready to make some serious money and achieve the freedom that, you know, trading can provide you. Now, the next part is talking about how to get there with much less capital, because if you guys are familiar with the idea of risk management at all, you know that on average, the The smart thing to do is to be risking, you know, around 1% per trade. And if we're about to risk like $850 on every trade, you know, you'd need an account size of around $85,000 just to achieve $10K a month, which doesn't seem like, it doesn't feel like $10K a month is very achievable when you need close to $100 grand worth of capital. And even if you have $100 grand worth of capital, like, would you really just wanna make $10K a month with that capital? This is where I get into my little life hack, you may, on how to achieve, you know, these bigger numbers with much less capital. And it has to do with a framework, and I'm gonna break it down very simply. And it has to do with a very simple method, which is to take whatever ideal risk per trade that you want to eventually get to and multiply that by 10 to 15. And that will be the capital that you need in order to achieve those numbers. Now let me break down the reason why, you know, 10 to 15 is the magic number. Let's say, you know, eventually, right? Eventually, you know, the goal is to get to $10K a month. You need around $850 risk per trade. Now you're not gonna get there immediately. Don't worry. This is more of a long-term thing, right? We're just setting long-term goals so we know what to do to get there. So multiplying that by 10 to 15, the reason why we multiply, you know, this number by 10 to 15 is that it gives you enough leeway to basically lose 10 to 15 trades in a row, which shouldn't happen if you know what you're doing, which shouldn't happen if you're watching, you know, videos like this and learning how to better yourself. And you would need to basically lose 10 to 15 trades in a row to lose all the capital that you have. But on the same side of the equation, it also means that, you know, let's say we're dealing with $850 here, 10 to 15 trades in a row. Would mean that you're using roughly $8,500 worth of capital to roughly $13,000 worth of capital. And that's all you need to achieve $10K per month, assuming everything else is fixed, meaning you have a system that allows you to be profitable. And assuming that you have the discipline to stick with that system that allows you to be profitable. Assuming everything is fixed, this is all you need in order to achieve $10K a month. Now you can also apply this to, you know, the trading that you're doing at the moment. Let's say that you are right now very comfortable with doing, you know, $50 or even $100 worth of risk per trade. All you need to do is multiply that number by 10 to 15. Now let's just, hypothetically speaking, let's reduce the risk per trade down to $100. Then let's figure out like how much is this gonna give you? So assuming that you are again taking 15 trades a month, 50% win rate, 3 to 1, that's gonna give you 13R, right? So just with about $1,000 worth of capital, you can already quite comfortably get to about $1,500 a month through trading alone. Which for a lot of you, after speaking with so many people over the years, I know that a lot of you would actually be happy to have, you know, to have about $1,300 to $1,500 of extra income per month doing something that, you know, you love and doing something that you're interested in. Now, of course, you must never forget the power of compounding where, you know, money compounds, right? Albert Einstein coined that the law of compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world. And imagine that You do, you know, $100 risk per trade, you start implementing this system so that you can start actually making some meaningful money instead of always constantly be stuck in, you know, that practice mode, that paper trading mode where you're never really able to risk any of your own money. Well, start small, right? Start with $50 a trade, start with $100 a trade. It's gonna allow you to get some real meaningful practice while still not risking, you know, a whole lot. And you could potentially stand to make some meaningful amount of money. And over time, like you do this for 3, 6 months in a row and, you know, you'll be surprised at how much money you end up with. If you were consistently averaging like 10 to 15R every month, you would all of a sudden go from $1,000 to a lot more. And one last thing that'll really help you overcome that mentality of like that fear of losing money or like that fear of putting your own capital at risk is the fact that out of these, like on paper, right? You're only putting in enough capital where you have the leeway to lose 10 to 15 times in a row and only then would you lose everything you have. But the thing is, as long as you know what you're doing, it's very likely that you're not going to be losing 10 to 15 trades in a row. And in fact, it's much more likely that you're gonna You know, for example, let's say the first trade is a loss, so you're down 1R, and then the second trade is a win, and now you're basically up by a bit. Now every future loss that you do take on is going to be house money. Essentially, it's not gonna be your own money, right? At worst case scenario, even if you were to lose like your next few trades in a row, you'd just be back down to break even. And that's a very powerful mentality to have. Knowing that you have house money to play with just alleviates a lot of pressure from you. And it's the reason why, you know, I always recommend that You know, especially if you're a beginner and you want to get into trading, or if you just want to get into crypto investing, really smart to not, you know, put in all of your money at once because, you know, even with a small amount of money, thanks to leverage, it allows you to achieve the same size even if you don't have your entire account in, you know, the exchange or in some wallet, which will save you in the event that some exchange goes, you know, bankrupt or something, or if one of your wallets gets hacked or whatever, you know, you're losing a lot less money than if you were, if you put in all of your money into that account. And now the final thing that some of you might be asking is, you know, isn't leverage dangerous? Especially as beginners to crypto, you tend to be bombarded with a lot of statements from your crypto influencers telling you that, oh, you know, leverage is dangerous, don't use leverage, just buy spot and hold. Sure, like for many people, the reason why leverage is dangerous and the reason why this phrase even came to be so popular in the first place is that you've got to remember that 90% of people really don't know what they're doing when it comes to crypto. And especially when it comes to leverage, they treat leverage as a way to increase their position size and to be able to get rich quick or get rich overnight. But in reality, for a trader, what leverage allows you to do is to put in much less of your money in the exchange or in the wallet and still be able to achieve the same size. In essence, leverage is a tool, right? It's not inherently bad. It's like if you were to have a pair of scissors, these are cigar scissors, those of you who don't know, like, you know, scissors are sharp and it's able to hurt people. I mean, not this, this is, you know, this is not gonna hurt anybody. But scissors is a sharp object, right? Is it dangerous? Well, it depends on you know the purpose that it's being used for and the person that you put that pair of scissors in the hands of. And in the hands of someone who's disciplined and who knows what to do with that tool, you know it's a really useful tool, right? The tool is not inherently evil. Leverage is not inherently bad. It just depends on who is the one who is you know wielding that leverage. And after watching this video, I hope that you have a good understanding of how leverage can be a very powerful addition to your tool belt rather than something that should be avoided, which is not the case.
