In this instructional YouTube video, The Art Of Crypto warns beginner traders that relying on a single technical signal leads to frequent losses. The presenter explains that entering trades based on just one or two cues—such as a price hitting a resistance level, a moving‑average bounce, or a solitary indicator flash—often results in being “wrecked.” The core solution offered is to require confluence from multiple technical factors before committing capital: price must align with support/resistance, test a major moving average, and be confirmed by at least one indicator (e.g., Market Cipher, MACD, RSI) or pattern. The speaker illustrates the principle with a real‑time chart of the 200‑EMA and a heads‑and‑shoulders formation, advising traders to wait for bullish confirmation (e.g., green candles, double bottom) before entering. A psychological tip follows: avoid gut‑driven, FOMO‑filled entries; instead, pause, breathe, and seek a better entry point, using the example of Theta breaking out of a falling wedge and likely retesting the breakout level. The video ends with a call‑to‑action for likes, subscribes, and a teaser that the next video will cover risk management, the “essential ingredient” for trading success.

In fact, this is a pro tip. I've always kept it a rule that whenever you first look at a chart— so what is the solution? Well, it's simple, which is— What's up everybody, welcome back to The Art Of Crypto, the best place on the internet to learn crypto trading and crypto investing. Now, if you've ever entered into a trade and the price immediately goes in the other direction, You know the despair that comes from losing your hard-earned money in just a little bit of time. But after watching this video to the end, I hope it'll help you to never ever lose your money unnecessarily in crypto anymore. So let's kick things off with this. Number 1, entering trades based off just 1 or 2 signals. Now I want you to think back to your trading career. How many times have you seen the price action reach resistance, right? At resistance, so you sell, sell, sell, and look what happens next. You would have got wrecked, right? But hey, it's okay. It's at resistance. So let's sell, sell, sell, and you're gonna get wrecked. And then at the next resistance, boom, it's at resistance. So let's go, let's go, and you're gonna get wrecked. Similarly, or perhaps in another example, perhaps you see a signal from an indicator and you jump right in. Like for example, hey, the art of crypto said that the 200 moving average tends to act as very strong support for a trend. So hey, price is at 200. So let's go in, go in, go in, and you would have got wrecked. So what is the solution? Well, it's simple, which is. You only enter trades that have confluence from multiple technical factors. Yeah, not one. So for example, let's say the price has to be at support or resistance at the same time. The price has to test a major moving average. So say the 20 moving average, the 50 moving average, whatever. And perhaps at the same time, an indicator that I use—it's called Market Cipher. I will make a video about that in the future. But set. It's an indicator, right? And that indicator has to flash a signal at the same time. Maybe the MACD has to flash a signal. Maybe the RSI has to show that it's going up or down, et cetera. You get the point. You never ever want to enter a trade just from one signal. That is honestly how you are going to get wrecked. Like right off the bat, I can give you a prime example right now of what not to do. So if you guys remember from the last video I made, it was about how to use simple moving averages to get about 50 to 100% gains every month. And if you guys haven't checked that video out, I would like you to go to the description and check it out after you finish this video. So if you can see over here, the purple line is the 200 exponential moving average. So usually that tends to hold quite strongly as support in a trend. However, and, and you can see that the price is testing the 200 EMA right now, but I would not go into this trade for one simple, simple reason, and that is heads and shoulders. I don't know if you can see this, but anyone who knows anything about technical analysis will tell you that this is a bearish signal. So I would definitely wait for confirmation. I would want to see the price form green candles, perhaps a double bottom, right? If the price does not break below right now, then we are going to get a double bottom. So that would be my entry. Not right now, not from just one signal. You get the point. Yeah. Now, if there is one thing that can help you to rethink your perspective, it is this concept, which is there are hundreds of cryptocurrencies out there. right? You are going to get hundreds, if not thousands, of opportunities every single day to trade. So in this case, why would you prematurely jump into a trade just because it looks good in the moment? Just food for thought. In fact, this is a pro tip. I've always kept it a rule that whenever you first look at a chart, you're gonna feel something in your gut. Telling you to either buy or sell. But think of it this way. If you decide to act impulsively and market buy and sell in the moment, you are already falling prey to FOMO. Instead, what you do is you take a step back, breathe, and think. Where do I think the price will go? Where will be a better entry? This will keep you out of so many bad/mediocre trades, you won't even believe it. So let me just give you an example here, right? I'm literally just on a random chart right now. So Theta, right off the bat, I can see that Theta has just recently broken out of a falling wedge. If I did not practice discipline, my immediate reaction would be to let's go because the price is going straight up. Let's go, let's go, let's go. It's gonna go 100%, 200% in the next few days. That's what a new trader would do. Instead, take a moment, breathe. Don't do what your gut tells you to do. So right now, I know that pattern breakouts usually—not every time—but usually it'll come back down for a retest at this level, right? Because previous resistance tends to become future support. So this would be my entry. This is where a lot of people, the strongest group of buyers, would be looking to enter this trade. Not here, because if you enter here, where do you set your stop loss? Here? Here? You get the idea. Breathe, chill out, and think where would be a better entry. Now, if you're enjoying the video so far and you like the value that I'm providing you, it would help me so, so immensely if you could just pump the like button to the moon. It's a small gesture, but it really helps. Now, even though you might have lots of confluence from multiple technical indicators, but if you do not have this one ingredient, you are still never going to succeed as a trader. Now, if you're interested to find out what this factor is, I want you guys to hit the subscribe button and the notification bell, because in the next video, we're going to be talking about the most essential ingredient to every trading career, and that is risk management. Now, in the meantime, you could watch this other video to absolutely pump your trading proficiency. But with that, I'm going to end this with, may the gains be with you. Peace.
