Lewis, encouraging viewers to push beyond comfort zones and strive for greatness in the upcoming year. The content is motivational and reflective in nature.
Hi there. Welcome to this week's Inspirational Quote. This week's quote comes from C.S. lewis, who was a prolific Irish writer and scholar and is really well known for his Chronicles of Narnia and his Pro Christian text. C.S. lewis was born in 1898 and was born in Belfast in Ireland, and his quote is really strong, really powerful. Our passions are not far too strong, they are too weak. We are often too easily pleased. So what does he mean by that? I think what happens in life is we compare ourselves with others and if we're ahead of the pack, ahead of the norm, where most people are doing pretty okay and we're doing better than other people, then we give ourselves a pat on the back and think that that's sufficient. And we don't stretch ourselves and we don't push ourselves. And sometimes we allow the speed bumps in life to get us down as well and stop us from pursuing greatness in our life. So what are you going to do to make sure that next year, 2025 is going to be your best year yet? Whether it's physically pursuing goals on an athletic aspect of your life or whether it's something that you're pursuing in your career at work, what is it that you're going to do to really push the envelope, step off Comfort Zone island and really go for it. So hope you've enjoyed this week's quote and look forward to speaking to you next week with another inspirational quote from my book, Built for Greatness. Bye for now.
