This is a YouTube video titled "BFG9 Monday Motivation" featuring Jim Rees delivering a motivational talk on an inspirational quote by Robert F. Kennedy. The content, created in November 2024, focuses on encouraging viewers to set ambitious goals and take risks to achieve greatness in their personal and professional lives.
Hi everyone. Welcome to this week's inspirational quote, which is written by Robert F. Kennedy, JFK's younger brother. And his quote is only those who dare greatly can achieve greatly. Now what's all that about? He was, he was JFK's younger brother and after JFK was elected, he ended up being appointed the Attorney General and then went on to get into the Senate and unfortunately he was assassinated in 1968, I think it was. But this quote, only those who dare greatly can achieve greatly, speaks to a lot of very successful people, whether that's in the sporting world or in the corporate world, whatever people are pursuing those, those people that achieve great things in their life are typically people that have risked a lot. They've set themselves crazy, I mean completely and utterly crazy goals to motivate them, inspire them. I get, I guess get their creative juices flowing. So I mean a lot of entrepreneurs, they've gone off and made, you know, multi million pound businesses around the world and there's lots of examples of those people and a lot of those people have actually built it and then lost it all to then only go back to the drawing board and then re, sculpt, reshape and come back even stronger and bigger. So I guess it speaks to this piece of shoot for the stars. And if you don't reach the stars, at least you'll get up there near the moon, which is higher than most people would ever think of achieving in their lifetime. So when thinking about this quote, think about how big are your goals and aspirations, how far are you stretching your mind to try and go for something that you think, yeah, it's not achievable, so think about that next time when you're sat contemplating a change in career, a move in your role at work, whatever it might be. Think about how much are you risking, how much are you prepared to have a run and jump at something to make sure that you live your wildest dreams or at least have a go at achieving your wildest dreams and help them become a reality. That's it for this week. I look forward to catching up with you again next week with next week's inspirational quote. Have a fantastic week. Bye for now.
