Monday Motivation BFG27

Welcome to this week's inspirational quote. This week's quote comes from Benjamin Franklin, who was one of the founding fathers of the United States who drafted the Declaration of Independence and then also worked on the Constitution of the United States. And he was born in Boston in 1706. And his quote is this, if passion drives you, let reason be the reins. So what does that mean in today's world? So what does that mean in today's world regarding his quote? So I'm a passionate individual. I'm passionate about everything that I get involved in. And passion is a great thing to drive you forward. It gives you the momentum to reset, knock things over and just get stuff done. And I've always thought that actually passion is one of the rocket fuels that drives you forward. But it's really critical to make sure that we also have that blend of rational thinking as well. So, you know, before you get rush, you know, rush headlong into a dead end and a, you know, a disastrous situation where you've invested loads of cash or whatever, or time and energy into a project or into achieving a goal, make sure you have it really clearly thought through. One way to consider, you know, thinking it through and slowing down is to think about having an advisory board, you know, a sort of an imaginary board of directors around a table of great leaders, great thinkers past and present, that you could actually have, and check in with them to see what their view, their perspective would be regarding what you're looking to accomplish in your life, whether that be professionally or personally. So just make sure you blend both the passion of with some rational thinking. And I look forward to sharing next week's quote with you and have a fantastic rest of this week. Bye for now.
