This is a YouTube video titled "Monday Motivation BFG32" containing a motivational talk delivered by a single speaker on May 21, 2025. The speaker shares an inspirational quote from Vincent van Gogh and discusses the importance of courage in trying new things and pursuing personal and professional goals.
Welcome to this week's inspirational quote. This week's quote comes from Vincent van Gogh, who was born in 1853 and was considered one of Netherlands most famous painters. His quote is, what would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? So what does that mean in today's world? I think it means that actually we need to have the courage to have a go at trying new things, whatever those new things might be. So the way I look at this is treating life as an experiment. So the more experiments you have in life, the more experienced you become and the more experiences you have, you then get to choose which ones you enjoy doing the most. So if you're looking to follow a career, attempt to have a go at a lot of things and then eventually settle on the thing that you most enjoy doing. Also having the courage to ask that person out, you know, on their on your first date. So, you know, take that first step, be bold and have, you know, go and ask the question. That's the only way you'll ever find out whether that might be a future long term relationship for you. And if you think about it, a lot of the people that have been successful in life have had to take that first step, be the first person to attempt to break a world record or climb that mountain or whatever it might be. So what are you stopping yourself from doing by not having the courage? So think about what would happen if you did have the courage and you did take that first step. Where might that lead you in your future goals and aspirations? Have a great rest of your week and I look forward to sharing next week's quote with you. Bye for now.
