I know we've all heard recently, in recent times, this company is laying off because they just invested in AI. And what does that mean from the future of work standpoint? What does that mean from a job security standpoint? The formula we were given was go to school, get a master's degree, and put your head down, and you're going to be great for life till you retire. Well, I feel like future of work now is going to look very different, especially with AI. And I think a lot of us are thinking, okay, what's next? A lot of people are pivoting out of full-time roles into more fractional roles now because they're like, Okay, I want to own my own destiny going forward. I want to ride the current wave and see how I can just reframe myself and reposition myself in the job market. People are thinking about a lot of things. What does job security look like going forward? I wouldn't say cannibalization, but it feels like that in a way where, oh, now cloud design, now cloud can do this. And SaaS companies that were built to provide a particular service, AI is doing all of that now to some degree. So it just makes you wonder like, okay, is there a bigger conversation to be had? Is this more like a policy conversation even at this point? Like, is there a boundary we need to put? So all of this is up in the air, and these are things that I mull on to kind of think of, okay, where are we going with AI? Yes, it's powerful, but how far the edge should we push it? So those are just kind of thoughts that I've been thinking about.
