This is a YouTube short titled "From Bagel to Sales Pro: My 2-Year Transformation Story #shorts" (created 2025-12-07). It is a first-person monologue by a single speaker recounting their early experience joining Vivint—six weeks of "bageling" (no sales), being mistreated (spit on, chased), nearly leaving for Morocco before being recruited by Pat Sadoff—and describing the mental and career transformation that led them to become a manager in Dallas North and net over 200 accounts in the past two years.

Honestly, my friends, they all quit, and I had just come— Tim wanted me to just talk to you guys about, you know, going from bageling for 6 weeks my rookie year to becoming pretty decent at the job, selling pretty consistently, and netting over 200 accounts the past 2 years, and what really led to the change of the transformation, you know, mentally and what I had to do to really make that happen. Now a manager with full team out here, out in the Dallas North with 2019 Pride team. But it was, it was really, really hard. Honestly, my friends, they all quit, and I had just come— I joined Vivint. I didn't really like people very much, and I'll send Tim a photo of what I looked like before when I started, but had a nose ring, had really long hair, you know, grew up at the beach surfing and, uh, you know, all the, the parties and things that made me not very good at, um, school or anything else. Didn't really have any options. I was dropping out of school, in fact, and, uh, flunking out of college, going to school for civil engineering. And I had a plane ticket actually to fly to Morocco, and I was never going to come back when I got recruited by this kid named Pat Sadoff that pretty much I was so jealous of, and I'll actually wrap back to that point in a minute because that's part of the reason why I was failing for so long. But anyways, needless to say, Pat somehow convinced me to do this freaking job, and I flew out to Texas, cancelled my flight to Morocco, and started knocking on doors for 6 weeks and just bageling, not really getting into homes, everybody being mean to me. I got spit on, I had people chase me with bats, and I just, I was, I was pretty discouraged.
