I started door-to-door back in 2016. Back then, I was probably the least social guy that you could imagine. Couldn't even do a class presentation without getting nervous. I wasn't loud. I wasn't outgoing. I definitely wasn't the sales guy that you'd expect. But door-to-door taught me two things. First, your job isn't to convince anyone. It's just to move the sale along. That's it. Conversation and curiosity. Second, sales get way easier when you stop trying to impress people. You just have real conversations. You don't need to be outgoing. You don't need to be smooth.
